Por ella soy Eva #148: 2/15/13-Eva Goes For A Visit, Pluti's Mis Planes Continue, Mimi Makes a Decision

Breakfast at the Contreras:

Breakfast is served and Fern is reminded he has gotta go.

Lucia Goes for a Visit:

Lucia has gone for a little visit to Helena's. She has got to tell her what happened with Santi which she does. Helena is like Que Que What???? Lucia gushes that this is so different from her previous experiences with men, there was passion, such passion, doncha know. Lucia is gushing so much and Helena asks Lucia if maybe Santi didn't take advantage? Hush your mouth, says Lucia, it wasn't like that at all. Helena smiles at Lucia and asks her if maybe she has fallen in love with Santi, but before Lucia can answer, here comes Lalito and Lucia uses this to go on her way!

Tea and Sympathy:

Eugenia and JC commiserate about their bad days. JC tells Eugenia bout Yadhira Rivers and what happened with that, and now Eugenia is worried about JC continuing to be Eva and how to prove that fraud was committed against JC. Eugenia tells JC what she suspects about Claudia losing her virginity and how Claudia sobbed in her arms. JC wants to know how she can know for sure. Eugenia says she sees Claudia everday and there is something changed in her. Claudia just isn't the same little girl anymore. JC is concerned.

Papa Can You Hear Me?

Helena has brought Lalito over for a visit with his Abuelo Eduardo. He is so happy to be having Lalito over. Seems Helena has also brought some goodies over for Lalito and Eduardo. Eduardo gives Lalito a big hug and he's actually smiling, but he notices Helena is looking and gets the familiar scowl on his face. Helena goes to the kitchen with the goodies, but is concerned for her Papa.

Are We Digging for the Truth, or Something Else?

Renato is in his office and the security guard is with him. The security guard goes and Renato finally pops that CD into the computer. Up pops Helena's e-mails for the Playa project. This is the uncoded version of the CD Renato ripped off from Rebe. Renato is interested, but puzzled at the same time.

Eva and The Blue Dresses:

Eva has come to the front desk of G.I. and the Blue Dresses are babbling about the vacancy at the Head of Public Relations, they want to go into competition, er apply for it, and Eva has that paper with Yadhira Rivers pic plastered all over it. The Blue Dresses also try to tell Eva something, but they are talking a mile a minute and Eva says good morning and goes on her way with that paper. So Eva gets to her office and is about to read the article when Flash! a camera goes off and it seems Eva has a visitor.

Helena and Lucia Go Over It One More Time and Renato Comes About a Meeting.

Helena and Lucia are rehashing the Santi/Lucia hookup and Helena wants to know if maybe they made a mistake hooking up. Lucia really doesn't get a chance to answer, cause Renato comes in and informs Helena there will be a meeting with the Councilman for Playa Majahua and since she is in charge of relations with the community, she has to meet with them about Fitsa and the project. Helena looks less than thrilled.

Can We Just Get Along?

Seems Marcela and Fern must get along now, cause both Jennifer and Kevin inform them they have their report cards, but they must meet with the Principal at school to see the reports and sign them. Marcela and Fern are snappy with each other, but agree to go together to the school.

Reporters, and Photogs and Eva Oh, My:

Poor Eva is being blinded by that photog and the reporter gets him to stop and leave the office, while she has a little chitty chat with Eva. Eva is very concerned about what the QUE is going on here. The reporter, don't know her name, but she looks like an actual reporter on Uni, actually tells Eva she is there for an article and what is the connection between Eva and Yadhira Rivers?? Eva has the deer in the headlights look! The reporter seems to have an insider in the police force that informed her there is some type of connection between Eva and this Yadhira Rivers. Eva is stunned, I tell you, stunned! Eva tells the reporter just enough about Yadhira Rivers and the reporter tells Eva, no worries, will not use this in the article and tells her this info about Yadhira Rivers is "off the record" and the reporter actually said this in Ingles! Anyhoo, the reporter asks about Eva's upcoming wedding and how Eva is such a great example for the working woman, at which time Eva goes into her little speech of "We are all Mexicans", lol. The reporter says that Eva is a very positive image/example of hard working women in bidness and she finally wraps up the interview and goes. Eva is happy.

Marcela and Fern Go to School:

Now we have a civil Marcela and Fern at a meeting with the school principal about the report cards of Jennifer and Kevin. Seems Jennifer is doing great, excellent student, and Fern is glowing about his Princessa, but Kevin, meh not so much. Seems Kevin is failing almost everything! Marcela is very concerned and Fern, meh not so much. Can't be right.

Eva and the Telephone:

Helena calls JC's phone and it's Eva of course in her office and Helena wants a meet with him at the pension, that would be Eva's pension, later, JC is happy to, and then t' amoes and click. Right after that JC calls Mimi, and requests a meet.

Caligula and Nero, Fiddle and Dance, While Rome is About to Burn:

Now we have our two sharks, circling around each other, about the latest fraud at G.I., how they can keep all these fraud balls up in the air, I'll never know. Anyhoo, Pluti(that would be Nero) tells Mendoza (that would be Caligula) about how this latest fraud with Fitsa will ruin Helena and G.I. in one fell swoop. Mendoza doesn't get why Pluti just has to sack Rome (that would be G.I.). It could be a cash cow! Pluti, pure despot that he is, informs Mendoza it's none ya what he plans to do. Mendoza is tired of Pluti treating him like a henchie, after all, Mendoza engineered that fraud of JC. Oh, and by the by how much is Mendoza getting from this little fraud. Pluti is beyond pithed and the madness of Nero over takes him. We'll get back to them.

More Tea and Sympathy:

So Eva and Mimi have a little meet about the Yadhira Rivers situation. Eva mentions to Mimi that Yadhira Rivers was at G.I. and as soon as anyone sees this pic in the paper they will remember she was there. Alot of people saw her. Mimi and Eva agree this might be out of their hands now and now Eva tells Mimi, in his JC voice of course, it is time to tell Helena he is, wait for it, Eva. Mimi of course supports JC in what he wants to do, but he really can't do this all at once, sort of ease into the situation, he doesn't want a repeat of what happened when Antonia, may she rest in peace, saw Eva as JC. He really needs to think this thing thru and then come up with a plan to tell Helena.

Caligula and Nero, Parte Dos:

Mendoza wants a huge payment, er, just compensation for the sacking of G.I. Oh, Pluti will take care of that by giving Mendoza, are you ready for this, Nero is truly mad, stocks, that's right, he said stocks, in a near worthless company??? Mendoza doesn't want no stinking stocks, he wants plenty of centavos, er millions for creating this fraud against Helena and G.I. and make it in cash, er show him the money! He ain't no peon and he goes! Pluti of course, true to form is pithed!

Kevin's Semi-Anvil Has Arrived:

So Marcela has Kevin sitting in front of her and calls him an ass, that's right, she said it, an ass for not keeping up with his school work and for blowing it off. In order for Kevin to pass this year, he will have to study his butt off and that means no allowance, no tv, no internet, ya get the pic. Marcela righteously lays into him. Kevin stomps off to his room and then Fern tells Marcela she was way too hard on Kevin. Maybe Fern needs to stay and help with the situation??? Perish the thought, from our Marcela and she lays down the law according to the new standup Marcela! She informs Fern that:

1: Get a job, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Get a job

2: Get a place

3: You can have visits with Kevin there.

Needless to say, Fern is soooo not agreeable to the new terms.

A Ladies Meeting about JC:

Helena and Eva are meeting in Helena's office and she tells Eva is wants to meet JC at Mimi's pension. Helena is worried about meeting him there due to the er, um, recent activity. Ya know the popos and Yadhira Rivers. But Helena is also concerned with her Papa Eduardo, something is off with him, Helena can feel it. And Helena is very worried about him. She tells Eva about taking Lalito over there and how alone Eduardo is now. Helena would really like a real conversation with her Papa, and Eva says oh, like a real connection? Helena says yeah, but she's afraid that ain't gonna happen. So Eva comes up with a plan.

Santi and Lucia Gaze Longingly, er Stalk, er Just Get Together Already!

So Lucia and Santi are in the hallway at G.I. but avoid each other, as they stalk, er, check each other out. They smile at each other, don't see each other and continue the checking out of each other. In other words, they are so mooning over each other, but one doesn't want the other one to know. Make sense? Got that??? They really need to get a room, jus' sayin'.

A Mother Gains a Daughter, and the Daughter a Mother:

So Eugenia has come home and is checking up on Claudia, who is still in bed and looking very depressed and teary. Eugenia tells her she is worried about her and Eugenia tells her she isn't alone, Eugenia is about to leave when Claudia begs her not to go. Well, Claudia for once, reaches out to Eugenia and starts to sob, as Eugenia gathers her in her arms and comforts Claudia. Gone is the 'tude, the rancor, and now Claudia looks like a heartbroken little girl. Eugenia tells her things happen in life to women in certain circumstances they have no control over and that Eugenia feels this happened to both of them. Makes you wonder what happened to Eugenia when she was young. Claudia finally tells Eugenia she had sex with a guy the other night and it was the worst thing to ever happen. Claudia cries and Eugenia continues to hold Claudia and is very upset. She asks Claudia if this guy raped her and if he did she needs to speak out. Claudia continues to cry and tells Eugenia she could have said no, but didn't. She had a drink, and wanted to show this guy she wasn't a girl, but a woman, but it so wasn't what she expected for her first time. Everything happened so fast, it was weird and now Claudia feels he only wanted one thing from her and that's all. Eugenia asks Claudia if she feels used and Claudia agrees, that is all he wanted, he used her just for sex. She cries. Claudia tells Eugenia she feels like a burden to her family and Eugenia asks her if it has to do with her not being a virgin anymore and doesn't she want to live with them anymore? Claudia cries and holds on tight to Eugenia.

Marcela and Santi Have a Talk:

Marcela tells Santi exactly what Fern has done, ya know the blindness faking, the suing, etc. Santi is stunned that Fern would go that far. Santi thinks this is the dirtiest trick that Fern has eva pulled, ya think??? So now Santi wants to know what Marcela is gonna do, and she tells Santi she is seperating from Fern!

Never The Twain Shall Meet:

So guess where Eva has gone??? Anyone in Viewerville want to hazard a guess??? She has gone to see, gasp, que horror, Eduardo! She has come for a little chat about Helena. Eva informs Eduardo that Helena is concerned about him being alone and all, ya know, she's his daughter. Well, Eduardo could give a rat's patoot, and says Helena is just feeling guilty for being such a bad daughter, doncha know. Well, Eva wants him to sit down, cause she doesn't agree with Eduardo's way of thinking, jus' sayin'. Helena really wants a relationship with Eduardo and is upset that Eduardo doesn't seem to want one. He keeps putting up stumbling blocks to that and has built a wall around him so high, she can't get over to talk to him. Eva then gives the facts of life to Eduardo, he has never learned how to tell Helena he loves her. And if he doesn't start wising up, he will be alone alone in his twilight years. So Eduardo gives the facts to Eva according to the way he sees them. He says that Helena lives alone, no hubby to tell her what to do, and isn't capable of worrying about an aging and alone parent. Eva is really nice here and tells Eduardo, women don't need some hubby tellin' them what to do, that daughters really need their fathers and that father's should have some pride in their children and their accomplishments and not to dwell on the bad experiences, if he doesn't want to end up alone. Now Eduardo wants Eva to go, and she says she will, she respects him, salutes him and then marches out of there with military precision, who knew??? Eduardo kinda thinks about what Eva has come to tell him.

Helena and Pluti Clash, er Bump Into Each Other in the Hall:

So Helena and Pluti clash, er bump into each other in the hallway of G.I. Pluti reminds her about that meeting with the Councilman from Playa Majaua and the community meeting too. Helena know she is in charge and Helena calls him a cynic. Pluti reminds Helena that she was only hired at G.I. for this particular project and nothing else. And by the by, the project is almost done. We'll get back to them.

Eleanor Rigby, er Eduardo Moreno:

So Eduardo is looking through an old photo album and it has tons of pics of when Helena was younger, as in a child, younger. He ruminates about his life and all he has done. He sees the family he once had. He actually tells the pictures of Helena that he loves her. He is very sad and thinks of his many bad mistakes over the years.

The Pension Has Kids:

Well, at least Mimi has these two children with her. Her friend came to visit and Mimi is kinda watching them. The poor pension still looks the same, the decor has not changed from the bordello style. Eva is singing Halleljuah and Eva goes off. Leaving Mimi with the children. So Mimi's friend comes in and it's Andrea Legarreta from Hoy, ya know the show on Uni. Anyhoo, these little girls are hers. She thanks Mimi for something, didn't quite get what, and Mimi mentions something about going. Andrea takes her girls and goes.

Back To the Clash:

So the clash of Pluti and Helena continues. Helena accuses Pluti of using his Nero position to get even with her over this broken engagment. Pluti begs to differ, he so ain't using his position, it's a bidness decision doncha know, she has gotta accept that this Playa project is winding down and her job with the company is going too. Pluti smiles like the Cheshire Cat and goes and Helena is very concerned.

Helena and The Telephone:

Helena gets a surprising call from her Papa Eduardo who would like a little meet with her. Helena is surprised and agrees. Helena next calls JC and tells him she is sorry she can't meet him cause her Papa called for a meet, and JC fully understands and says he'll see her tomorrow. The Eva in him smiles.

Mimi Has Come to a Decision:

Mimi and Eva/JC have a little meeting. Mimi says she has been thinking about her life recently, since the Yadhira Rivers incident. She has the pension now but is alone, really. No guy. Eva/JC tells Mimi she has her faith and she has him, but Mimi wants more. She could get a little ranchero, move to the country, back to her roots so to speak. Eva is afraid that Mimi is having second thoughts about Doggie Man, but Mimi tells her to shut it bout that. Mimi has made a decision. Mimi doesn't want to do anything until JC has told Helena he is really Eva, but JC tells Mimi that he can handle this alone, even though he doesn't want Mimi going anywhere. He respects whatever Mimi wants to do. In that case, Mimi is leaving the D.F. Que, Que, What????

Avances:

Pluti pushes more of his mis planes for venganza.

Eva is so pithed, when she finds out what Pluti said to Helena, she doesn't bump her knee on the desk when she gets up!

Comments:
Good Morning Y'all, I am running behind, so please comment while I whip up this recap : )

Ok, y'all the recap is up. Please enjoy : )

Ha ha, thanks Madelaine. Loved "t' amoes and click" and Eva being so pithed in the previews that she doesn't bump her knee when she gets up. I'll make sure to notice that.

Elena looked like the Cheshire Cat when Lu was telling her about Santi -- which is exactly the way Viewerville feels. Those two were so cute playing peek-a-boo in the office. But yeah, get a room -- wait a minute: they have a whole apartment. GO HOME, YOU TWO.

BTW, did anyone catch what Rebeca said to Mendoza on Thursday about, "If it weren't for me, Plutarco would still be wearing those suits made of...something?" (This implies that there's something worse than whatever his suits are made out of now.)

Madelaine, I loved your format with the individual titles for each section and also your analogy with Caligula and Nero! Also the Eleanor Rigby subtitle was so appropraite. Thank you for a nice accompaniment to my lunch.

I found it interesting that:

Pluterco thought Mendoza would be satisfied with a small amount of shares in GI as payment for his services. Besides everything else, Pluterco is cheap.

Eva went over to Eduardo's and tried to improve his relationship with Helena. JC has learned a lot.

Fernando is not only a stubborn macho but he is also stupid because he still doesn't understand or care about anyone but himself. I hate when he undermines Marcela as a parent.

JC realizes that he is guilty of identity theft if not the fraud he was accused of.

Lucía might have found "real love" with Santi and was playing hide and seek with him. Too funny.

With Adriano still gone and about 3weeks left I am left to wonder how much is going on "behind the scenes" that we in Viewerville are unaware of especially with Mimí feeling like something is going to happen again. There are so many loose plot lines to be resolved and happy endings all around for the good guys I hope and perdition for the evil ones. It's fun to try to imagine what some of the surprises down the road might be.

Jarifa

Madelaine, thanks for a great recap.

Blue Lass, I thought Rebeca said suits made of polyester. I'm glad Mendoza is holding Pluti's feet to the fire on the compensation issue. Anything to help bring Pluti down.

Sad for Mimi and her possibly bleak future. She deserves better. Now we see some home for bastardo Eduardo and Claudia with their family ties.

La Paloma

That was seeing some hope, although they need loving homes as well.
La Paloma

Polyester! No wonder I didn't recognize it. ;}

That Fernando really fries my bonbons. He frauds away two jobs and has nothing to do but sit around the house all day, and he still expects someone to make him coffee. He should be getting up early and making everybody ELSE coffee. Harrumph!

Thanks, Madelaine. I also liked all your subtitles for each paragraph. Eleanor Rigby is a good analogy for Helena's dad. Although for the first time he actually listened to what someone else was saying to him. Sure, he had that antagonized look with Eva, but you could also see in his face that the words were penetrating. And he did say to the photo album that he didn't know children needed to hear they are loved, that he never heard that from his parents. I like it when a show can demonstrate a problem as more than the behavior of a single person we can blame- and instead show how it's part of an endemic pattern that needs to be changed.

Speaking of needing to be changed... Fernando continues to be the one who learns the least with the most opportunity to do so. I loved when Marcela snapped at him not to call her Flaquita, and then slammed the picture of the two of them face down. She still loves him though, so I'm not sure what I'm hoping for here.

Mendoza heard Rebeca's warning about Pluto. Good. I do hope her revenge is apocalyptic.

Santiago and Lucia were cute. I like the light-hearted stuff. It's fun.

Hi Madelaine...I really enjoyed your comment about PLuty and Mendoza juggling too many fraud balls at the same time. I think PLuty's Nero power trip (well said, Mad) is becoming so excessive, it will become his downfall. He was so much more precise in the early capitulos, but since Helena broke up with him, he's been pushing all potential allies away from him and just being an all-round a***hole.

I don't want our Mimi to leave because I love her character so much and still want her to get together with Adri some how!

Although JC is going to pay a price with perhaps the police and definitely with Helena if they find out he is Eva, he scored major points with me by talking to Helena's dad as Eva and then allowing Helena to break a date with JC so that she could spend some time with her dad!

JC has done a ton of good things as Eva:
-rehired 100 women (who were really fired because of PLuty)
-got Adriano to be more open minded and respectful of change...women, maybe gays (I guess we'll see)
-influenced Sylvia to make the right decision about leaving her husband...remember they went out to lunch?
-opened an entire amusement park for Lalo when Lalo ran away
-encouraged Renato to be himself and to stop leading Lucia on
-encouraged Marci not to quit her job because of her jackass husband
-probably played a role in Marci's promotion by putting Adri at ease about promoting her
-took Eugenia to the doctor and got her back on her meds and active in her professional life.
-played a major role in raising the self esteem and quality of life of Antonia and this was noticed by Antonia's brother, Adri.

If it becomes public news that Eva is Juan Carlos, will everyone remember the good things that JC did as Eva or will everyone hate him for it? Gertie

Great list, Gertie! I often see things in terms of lists, so I love seeing others' lists of observations in one category.

Good Morning Y'all and thanks for all the great comments.

Blue: Santi just moved out of Lucia's apartment, that's why I said they need a room, hell he ought to just move back in, lol.I too think they should be together. Darn I thought Pluti's suits were made of sharkskin, they are so darn shiny : ) His suits remind me of the suits worn by Alonso in STUD.

Jarifa: JC has learned alot. I am loving the Eva character and I still don't want Adri to ever find out that JC is Eva. I too wonder how they are going to wrap everything up. I can't wait to find out : )

La Paloma: I agree with you about Claudia and Eduardo, I really think they are on their way to redemption. That surprised me about Eduardo, he has been so unlikeable, but now he is starting to change. I wonder what will happen with Fern, though?

Blue: Agree with you about Fern too : ) He is so macho, you'd think after all the stuff he pulled, he would realize it is time for him to change, but nopis, still the same A$$hat.

Bill: Thanks for what I missed about what Eduardo said to the pictures about children. Good catch. I agree with you about Fern too. Marcela and Fern do love each other very much and I just wish, yeah I know if wishes were horses, that he would finally wake up and do something constructive like help out at home, get a new job he really loves, something!!!! I really want to see him redeemed, cause his redemption will be hard won I think.

Gertie: I too loved your list. All the points on that list are spot on. I too wonder about what will happen if everyone finds out that JC is Eva. I hope they DO remember all the good he did as Eva. JC has come a long way since the beginning of this TN. I don't want something terrible to happen to him at the last minute.

I too wonder if or will they redeem Onesimo? He is turning against Pluti now and maybe he will do some good. I too can't wait for the venganza of Rebe, it should be nuclear!

Mads- Thank you for another great recap.

Gertie- Thank you for the list. I too hope that everyone remembers all the good things Eva did when the big reveal happens. There is so little time left, it seems that something else REALLY big is going to happen at the same time so that people don't dwell on the Eva/JC reveal. Hopefully Pluti's crimes will be exposed at the same time and people will see JC's sins as being far less serious in comparison.

However, it's Helena and Adri who will rightly feel the most betrayed, and all that good stuff Eva did won't matter when compared to the way he took advantage emotionally of the two people who love him the most. I'm looking forward to the way the writers get him out of this mess.

Yay! More progress for Claudia and Eduardo. Why, oh why can't Ferni see the light too?

Roger that , Paula, Vivi and Mad!! ....I keep thinking of more things that are not on this list of good things Juan did as Eva...I am sure these things will pop in our minds as we come to the finale.

For instance Mario, Lalo's real Dad: JC visited Mario as JC, not Eva. He convinced Mario to try to become a better person, as he, JC, was trying to do. Correct me if I am wrong, but because of JC's influence, Mario gave Pluty's bribe money to Lalo. Mario could be quite the wild card in bringing PLuty down and putting in a good word for Juan should Juan get in trouble with the cops.

However, Vivi brings up a huge point...both Adri and Helena have their hearts and souls deeply connected to JC /Eva. If those two find out the truth....I know that * I * am even going to feel the hurt with them! "It's only a TN....it's only a TN!" "Breathe Gertie, breathe!"

Switching gears, I think Lucia is feeling true love for Santi but it is so foreign to her that she doesn't know what to do with it. For once her big mouth may help her. I think when she told Helena all about it, Helena was cautious at first, but then seemed genuinely happy for her friend. Now we just need Eva to give Santiago an encouraging push towards Lucia. Gertie

Gertie and Vivi: So agree with you both about the heart and soul connection with Eva and Helena and Adri. I too will feel the pain, but I wonder, as far as Adri is concerned, that Mimi won't somehow be there to ease the pain for Adri. I wonder too, if Adri will ever figure out that it was Mimi he slept with and not Eva. I am just afraid if Adri ever finds out that Eva is JC, Adri will have a huge infarto, and I don't want him to end up like Antonia, jus' sayin'.

Vivi: I too wish that Fern would see the light. It's funny, his two besties have changed so much, JC and Santi. Santi is falling in love for the first time, JC has gone a long way as Eva, and Fern is the only one left stuck on stupid!

Madelaine, I also wonder about Onésimo who has turned out to be one of my favorite characters. I would love to know his "back story" beacause it "seems" that he has had to scratch and fight for anything he has gotten.

Jarifa

Right Mad, I agree. If Adri should find out that the love of his life is a man, he could wind up like his sister. So sad for him, GI and Mimi. And if I were Helena, I would sign off men forever and either take the same path as Renato or go off to a convent....ok Helena would never go to a convent because she has a business partnership with her mom and a young son in her life, but I think you get my drift! Gertie

Good Morning Y'all and thanks for more great commments.

Jarifa: I too would like to know more about Onesimo's backstory. I think Onesimo is so funny with his facial gestures and his Mi Plu, lol. I really want to see him redeemed in some way.

Gertie: I think Helena is stronger than she thinks. I think now she is finally realizing how truly bad Pluti is, and will start to fight for JC and her project. Can't wait to see these fireworks and how she accomplishes it.

I would love to see a stronger Helena. She is portrayed as a very smart and resourceful person with leadership potential on the work front.

In her personal life, I believe our recappers have conveyed that she has stated that she has denied herself 'being a woman' because of the challenges of being an enterprising single mom. I also believe that one of you quoted her as saying that maybe she was meant to be single all of her life (or something like that). Her career seems to be very rewarding to her so much so that she thrives on it. Yet she manages not to take work or bad work days home with her to bum out her family.

So I think Mad is right in that this protagonist ( Helena) is more likely to keep working, keep moving forward and not run off to a nunnery...but man oh man....these TN writers sure make swimming in the shark tank very, very tough!! There is a heavy concentration of sharks in this particular shark tank!! Gertie

Whee! I'm all caught up now. Thank you, Madelaine!

So... about Onesimo, I don't know if he'll be "redeemed" as such because he's a criminal through-and-through. He may have some scruples, but I don't see him ever getting on the straight and narrow. On the other hand, though, I can imagine him doing the right thing and being allowed a merciful end.

As for the Big Reveal - I've been thinking about this for a while:

- For the longest time I thought it would be one of those cliched (but hilarious) mixups where he has to do a lot of costume changes in a very short time, gets mixed up, and comes out dressed up mostly as Juan, but with Eva's wig and one eyebrow.

- Then I thought it would be a mixup with the phones, either he uses the wrong voice or Eva's phone rings while Juan is in the room, etc. But I'm not sure that's good enough for the Big Reveal, because it's too easy to explain away ("oh, I grabbed the wrong phone by mistake").

- RIght now I'm thinking it's going to have to be the gastritis. Rebeca, Marcela, and I'm not sure who else have all noticed that Eva gets the same kind of tummyache that JC did. If he ends up in the hospital and the clothes have to come off, then whoever's with him is going to find out.

Awesome recap! My only regret is that I found this site so late in the show! My listening comprehension has improved so much thanks to this show and reading the recaps has helped me track my progress! Thank you!!

Gertie: You got that right about the shark tank on this comedy. I don't think I have ever seen so many unredeemble bad ones. But I really think Helena will survive the shark tank and fight her way out.

Julie: You have given me some food for thought. I too wonder how JC will be revealed as Eva and I like all your scenarios. I like the gastritis theory best. That would be a good way to reveal Eva as JC.

Shannon: Welcome to Caray Caray and this TN. We do recap most TN's here. I am so glad you found us, even though it is late in the game. Please join us commenting and sharing a laugh.

I have to say something about Lucero. She has really surpised me with her comedy here. I've only seen her in MEPS where she was the mad Barbie on steriods and I'm watching STUD which I missed the first time around. She is great at drama and now this comedy. I really hope she does another comedy.

She surprised me too, Mads. She was such a good villain in MEPS that perhaps her versatility should not have been such a surprise, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Given that she's already established and very popular in drama, it was a risk to even try comedy. She deserves a lot of credit for that. And even more credit for pulling it off.

Some actors that are really great in dramatic roles look completely lost when you see them in something like La Parodia. Even if you're not the one telling the jokes, you still have to get your timing and reactions right. It must be even harder if your costar likes to go off script (coughcough JamieCamil coughahem).

Okay, calling all March Madness Hoopers...Guera, JudyB. we are getting close to the big dance.

Guera, The Orangeman should go deep into the dance. Judy B. the Buckeyes has some issues.

My Rams are getting ready.

Hello Blue Lass, did you ever get to Joes Crab Shack in Frederickburg?

Lets get line up for the big dance.

Anon#1

Ok Lee Fox! You got another March Madness fan here. my teams are any Philly Big Five team, Temple being my alma mater...followed by Villanova. I understand Villanova is on the cusp...they call it the bubble I think. Heck Villanova should be allowed in to the big dance on Jay Wright's good looks alone! He is better looking than George Clooney!! Gertie

Julie: I love the way she tries to hide the laugh everytime she looks at Camil crossed eyed, lol. I saw some outtakes of MEPS Youtube that were hilarious and Lucero was in many of them, and FC too. That is why I think FC will be hilarious on this upcoming TN. And you are so right about Camil. I love the way he works though, too funny : )

Hi, Anon#1! Didn't quite make it to F'burg on my last trip -- flew home from Charlottesville. Next time, maybe...

Blue Lass

Okay Anonymous... you can take Temple, since this is their last year in the A10, and my VCU Rams
1st year in the A10. And if Villy gets in, they are yours also.

Blue Lass, there is also a Joes Crab Shack in Hampton Va. beside the Bass Pro Shop off of I64 at Mercury Blvd.... if you are down that way.

Still waiting to here from Judy B. and Guera.
