Frankie calls ex-wife, got stuck at airport due to snow cancellations. He is sorry he won’t be there to give Guillo his hug.

Gilda tells Victoria that Guillo is still lost… Vicky questions why Bea did not tell Frankie, Gilda says Bea did not want Frankie to come back right away, he would have if he knew. Vicky imagines Bea and Guillo’s pain of separation. She can understand perfectly what it is like for a mother to lose her child as she sees her sister’s suffering with her baby girl.
Padre from hometown has come to offices to talk to Angel with Guilts. ‘Guilt is a very hard weed to remove from the garden of our serenity’. Angel with Guilts thinks he was not a good husband. He failed Cristina with his thoughts. And even though everyday he fights against his feelings for Vicky, he can’t. And now he is also afraid of losing her. Vicky’s old flame has come back to her life. (Vicky comes by outside the door and can hear the rest). Angel can’t resign himself to the idea of Vicky rebuilding her life with another. Padre says if you can’t right your life, let her do it with her own. Angel says he will never be able to get over what happened with Cris. Padre says ‘never’ is a harsh term. Time will heal your wound. Angel thinks it is best is to let Vicky live her own fate. She told him about her feelings for him and he rejected her due to his guilt. He knows it is time to let her live her life, but his heart does not understand.

Vicky, now back in her office, tells herself that it is no good that Angel has feelings for her if he can’t put off the guilt for Cris. Ours is a hopeless love.
At KenDrat’s, same ol same ol… she nags about his not spending time with her, he nags back ‘can’t do enough to please you’. She nags that he is keeping her in ‘single mom’ status. He wants to assure his financial status before he gets divorced. There is a new deal he is wrapping up for MI with a facial crème company, he’ll get good money for that. She does not believe him, she is ‘FED UP!! FED UP!!!’. He calls her HYSTERIC, he is fed up with her nagging. She asks him if he got tired of her for being ‘fat’ or is he unfaithful to her with another? If he is, she will kill him!. He leaves. KenDrat blames her unborn daughter, you make me fat, be born already!! Darn the moment I got pregnant!!

Frankie alone in hotel remembers his best moments with Nikki caressing/kissing the chain/pendant she gave him. Nikki still at hotel in Toronto, CAN, also remembers him. He cries devastated. (a song in the background, I think it is Reik, talks about ‘you gave another your heart’). Later he says she is a love that couldn’t be but also a love he can’t get out of his heart, his AMOR VERDADERO. She writes him another ‘can’t wait for us to be together forever and ever’ letter. Roy comes to tell her he has to go to a press conference. She is ‘tu fresh y yo cool’ with that. They are very nice to each other.



At B house, Anyballs and Adri are in living room. He brings up that Roy got eliminated from the tournament so Nikki and Roy will be back soon. Adri corrects him saying Nikki does not plan to come back to Mex anytime soon. Anyballs questions what is Nikki thinking, calling her ‘nieta mia’. This is enough for Adri to pull out the angry mother to the surface and nags him again and again about the ‘other nieta’ he has that he should also think about, and repeats her threat that if she learns he is hiding her daughter from her, she will send him right to jail to spend the rest of his days there. He questions if she will really go that far. ‘Watch me, Anibal Balbanera.’ she replies. Adri leaves. Polita comes running, he has a visitor. IT is none other than his old flame, Cande back again. Cande did not come for a social visit, she came to confirm that ANyballs followed through on his promise to her to give Lilli her rightful place. She has lived in constant anguish knowing Adri’s daughter is Lilli!! Anyballs says he has always been honest to her. And when she sees Lilli, she will be surprised. Now Lilli is educated, have supported her, and have many plans for her. Cande says I have kept the secret but she has YOUR BLOOD!. ANyballs replies it was the best for everyone, now Adri and Lilli have a great relationship and your SIL still has her at his side. Lilli comes in and is super happy to see ‘Abue!!’.Lilli is super happy to learn Cande has come to city to stay permanently.



At the offices, Carlos arrives with flowers in hand for her. Angel immediately feels uneasy so he excuses himself and leaves Vicky’s office. Carlos and Vicky make small talk about how the office has changed, how they met, that he dropped the papers he had in his hands… they laugh it off, making Angel on other side of door a bit jealous.

Not a moment too soon, Nil-Brains makes his entrance and immediately puts Vicky on the spot telling her in front of Carlos and Angel that she has found a ‘replacement’ for her bodyguard. (Carlos immediately puts two and two together). Carlos ironically puts himself in Nil-Brain’s face and says ‘don’t you remember me? I am Carlos, Vicky’s first love’. Nil-Brains won’t stop stuffing his foot in his mouth and tries undermining Carlos as ‘the same as you were, a simple messenger, obviously you have not progressed at all since now you are just an employee of a food company.’ Then he turns to Vicky ‘too bad you got even lower, you traded me for your bodyguard and then traded him for a simple employee.’ Carlos seems to be enjoying this… Vicky steps in between them and demands he leaves. Nil-Brains is not done, turns to Angel and tells him must be very discouraging that he joined the ‘cornudos’ ranks. Angel replies too bad you never became one but you sure deserved it. Vicky again interferes. Carlos takes his whack, telling Nil-Brains that it must be nasty to know that you allow yourself to be undermined by a simple bodyguard and then a nobody(pobre Diablo) like me. (Lizardo is the perfect actor for this role, congrats to the casting mgr.) They keep on nagging to each other until Nil-Brains is summoned about ‘important work obligations’, again undermining ‘Carlitos’ for not being irreplaceable. Carlos replies ‘too bad you are only irreplaceable at the workplace’. Nil-Brains throws another round ‘the secondary areas were never that good’. Nil-Brains turns toward Angel again and says ‘now its your turn to suffer being despised by Vicky, and, honestly, it makes me very happy’. Angel just responds ‘you never got it, did you?’. Nil-Brains leaves and Angel takes a deep breath and then ironically tells Vicky that they must have personal matters to discuss, so he should leave.

Vicky apologizes to Carlos about what just happened, he says ‘not your fault your husband is a PATAN(LOSER JERK)’. He says he can tolerate any ‘tantrum’ by Nil-Brains in order to see her. He tells her he could notice Nil-Brains is even more angry at her bodyguard than he ever was against him (Carlos). Vicky gets uneasy. Carlos questions how she has withstood Nil-Brains so long. ‘People like you’ allow appearances to rule relationships instead of the true soul of people. She questions if he really thinks that of her. He says you have always lived around people like that, like your father and husband. I am too much of a ‘nobody’ for you. I have been naïve to think that after 25 yrs you and I could… If you feel it is worth it, call me. On his way out, Carlos tells Angel that ‘as you have noticed, Nil-Brains and I are very different. I won’t step aside and leave you the way free to Vicky’. They have a brief ‘Really? / Really!’ staredown… Angel follows Carlos (apparently wanting to continue arguing) but Vicky calls for him. He asks her what she needs. She says she needs Nil-Brains to be hung from the tallest tree. He says you better get used to Carlos and Nil-Brains confronting each other all the time. She asks why. He says it is obvious that her ‘less than worse’(peor es nada) of a husband won’t leave empty handed. She leaves. Her cell phone in her office rings, he runs to get it.

At Nil-Brains office, Nabila (Nikki’s old friend) is doing the slurping therapy on him.

(from what she says, she used to be one of his ‘diversions’) Off comes her blouse and his jacket, they land on the couch, slurping continues. Angel catches with Vicky outside Nil-Brains office to give her her phone. There is ratling of the blinds in his office so Vicky realizes what is going on inside and gets outraged, Can’t be KenDrat, she is banned from the office, so who is it?? (not sure they hear who it is in there but Vicky is outraged)

She wants to go in, Angel stops her, not worth it. Avoid yourself a bad moment.



Inepto at KenDrat’s, she keeps nagging about the ‘hell’ she is going through with Nil-Brains. She can’t wait for this belly to explode and this ‘engendro’ to be born already!! She thought getting pregnant of him would be enough for him to divorce Vicky. Besides, he has lost desire to be with her, surely he has got other ‘girls’ in the office.

Dances comes in with the monthly pension from Nil-Brains. KenDrat questions him about Nil-Brains. Dances is happy to announce that she has not been able to separate him from his wife, nor from his ‘girls’. Now he is back with Nabila. KenDrat calls Nabila ‘tripa patas de ciguena’. Dances tells her Nil-Brains must see her pretty, she won the contract for modeling the new facial crème. (as he says this he is taking down that huge painting of KenDrat, as a way of taking her off the ‘number one’ ranking). Too bad your plans failed again. (with this final punchline he leaves)



Somewhere in fields useless grandma is yelling and looking for Guillo. Asks people around, but no one has seen him. Elsewhere the truck has arrived to the delivery site and the man and woman walk away. Guillo gets down from the truck and runs away.



At Jocelyn’s apt, she is kidding watching Carlos be angry/miffed about having to use the food place uniform. He is now well dressed, and not appreciating her ‘humor’. He feels he is pushing Vicky away instead of closer, because she believes he is a simple employee of a food distributor. His phone rings, it is Adri. She thanks him for the flowers. She read in paper that he gives a conference tomorrow, she wants to come to meet him. He offers to pick her up. She accepts. When he hangs up, Jocelyn thinks he is crazy, will go to Vicky’s house tomorrow? Exactly, replies Carlos.



In car, Angel with Guilts questions Vicky about Carlos. Seems like a good guy. Seems he still loves her, why don’t you try again with Carlos… Carlos!... You have the right to live the live you could not early on. Vicky agrees that she should try it again. With Carlos! He is the right guy for me! (sounds like 2 teenagers talking, not man/woman in their 40s)



Bea is praying to the virgin, only you can understand my sorrow. Make Leo have pity on her and her son. That he realizes the harm he is causing. She needs to be with her son. Give me strength to keep fighting. Please protect my treasure wherever he is.

Guillo is walking around… an old man notices him, thinks he is ‘Oscarito’ his grandson. Guillo tells him his name, the man says his grandson and his daughter died last year. Guillo tells him he is lost. Can you help me find my mom?? Please take me with her!! (cries desperate). The old man shares his ‘torta’ with him and promises to help find her.

Old guy says everyone calls me ‘Mezcalitos’. Guillo keeps begging to help him get to his mom.



Angel with Guilts tells Lilli he is happy she has her grandma around again, so she can go to her whenever she needs someone to listen and give her advice. Lilli says she also has Adri. Maybe if you ever remarried, I would love for it to be with Adriana Balbanera. (Vicky has heard this and is visibly stricken) Angel does not want to say what he thinks and Vicky comes in. Lilli apologizes for her big mouth but she does not want to see her dad so lonely and sad. She is afraid of him falling for a woman who does not like Lilli. Lilli leaves. Angel apologizes to Vicky. Vicky gets a bit ironic and says that with Adri there would not be any guilts or resentments in a relationship like those he feels about her (V). Angel does not need her ‘advice’. Vicky leaves miffed.



Nighttime, Guillo’s grandma is praying, Leo arrives, did not find Guillo. She is worried it is nighttime, who knows the dangers he is facing. This is a punishment from God. Leo is outraged by that comment. Leo thinks Guillo is headed for the city. Will go find him.



Mezcalitos has brought Guillo to the hut he sleeps at. Fairly furnished since there is a bed, where he wants Guillo to rest.(a planchar oreja y a sonar con los angelitos). Once Guillo goes to sleep, Mezcalitos thanks the Virgin for the gift a year after the tragedy of losing his house, daughter and grandson to fire. From this night on, Guillo will be my grandson..(creepy, isn’t it? Poor Guillo)



Vicky goes to Adri’s room and questions her directly, do you have anything going with Arriaga??
