PEAM #55- 5/24/13: She Likes The Way He Moves, Mr Grinch Pays a Visit to Monterrey.

Twas a couple days before Christmas,

And all through Avon,

The people were working,

No smiles going on.

Except for the baddies that had visions of mis planes dancing through their heads!

So please read the recap, and judge for yourself,

Who'll have the best Christmas and who has outdone himself ; )

St Ferny Will Have A Blue Christmas:

Imagine if you will, St Ferny, who is sweating bullets cause Discua has shown up at his door unannounced with Jess' shirt in his hand behind his back. Discua would like to be invited in, and before St Ferny can say a thing, she enters the apartment, hears Jess, and goes and takes a look see. Ruh, Roh, there is Jess in St. Ferny's bed naked as a jaybird, except she is all covered up by the bed spread. Well, Discua is not very happy, she actually wanted to see if that text she got was true! She slaps St Ferny and tells him off, and calls Jess a mujerzuela! Discua dumps St. Ferny right there cause he broke her heart, even though St Ferny, who actually has resisted the temptation of Jess, wasn't given a chance to explain. Now St. Ferny is the patron Saint of lost loves and the misjudged. Pobrecito! Of course the source of the temptation is as happy as if she were just handed some figgy pudding. Now Jess is all dressed again and St. Ferny wants to know if she set this up like the evil elf she is. He figures out that Jess must have had something to do with that text that was sent to Discua. Jess denies, denies, denies. St Ferny grabs her wrist now and wants some truthiness from her. St Ferny loves his Discua! St Ferny is demanding an answer! He is acting very unsaintly like. Jess claims she knows nothink! St Ferny tells Jess that Discua is his one and only love. St Ferny is slowly slipping away from sainthood, cause now he has Jess by the throat demanding an answer. She finally fesses up this was all Rogue's idea as revenge and he sent the text. St. Ferny is breathing St. Elmo's fire! St Ferny can't beleive his own Bubby set him up and Jess tells him Rogue did this for his own good. St. Ferny says his Bubby will pay, and off he goes, with Jess chasing him!

One Of the Elves Is Up To No Good!
Patymelt the bad elf, has come to see Alma. Alma is waiting for her guests to arrive for the bachelorette partay. While Patymelt is talking to Alma, Alma has turned and remember that camera in Patymelt's purse the last epi? Well she had plans for that camera. Patymelt puts it in a potted poinsettia and pulls the leaves around it so it won't be seen and makes sure it is on and in positon to record. The lens has a clear shot though. Patymelt makes some excuse and leaves. Patymelt is outside Alma's door and can't wait for that stripper to show up and for that camera to tape it. Chucho has come by to tell Patymelt that the stripper can't make it cause he's sick! Patymelt is like say it isn't so! Chucho says it's too bad about the stripper and he is about to go, when Patymelt has an idea! She wants Chucho to take the stripper's place! No way says Chucho!

I Saw Mommy Dissing Papa Elias
Poor Elias is trying to get some work done, but Vero won't leave him alone. He is working on that campaign for Avon that Rogue gave him. He tells Vero this, and she just ignores that and wants to talk divorce for Christmas! Vero launches into her divorce spiel. She wants a peaceful and agreeable divorce. If he agrees, then they will be divorced in three months. She wants to discuss visitation rights to Val, the house, the money, yada, yada. He is pithed cause he feels Vero wants him to go away, far away so that Vero, Valentina and Chucho can be a family. He isn't going away! Vero tells Elias of course she doesn't want him to go far away from Valentina. Vero just doesn't love him anymore, that's the reason for the divorce. Elias is still blaming Chucho for all this, wants his family back and these are his conditions, it's his house, his family and absolutley no divorce! Elias isn't buying that Vero stopped loving him, Vero argues it's true, she doesn't love him and poor little Valentina has heard all this arguing and has tears in her eyes, they don't see her at first, but then they turn and see her. Noone is happy!

All She Wants For Christmas Is That Video Tape:
Patymelt wheedles and whines and cajoles and begs, and is guilting Chucho into taking that stripper's place! Patymelt reminds Chucho that he is Alma's BFF, do this one last little thingy for Alma, por favor! Pretty please with a cherry on top? More noes from Chucho, more begging from Patymelt! Chucho is telling Patymelt to undertand that no means no for once in her life! Patymelt is trying to wear him down. Chucho is still saying no!

She Likes the Way He Moves, As Do We ; )
Imagine if you will, our hunky Chucho dressed as a Cruise Ship's Captain in a white uniform, the shirt coat halfway unbuttoned, with a hat on his head, a plastic mask on his eyes, it reminds me of "Phantom of the Opera", and oh, my he is dancing for Patymelt's approval to see if he has the "stuff" to entrance, er, dance for Alma. OOOO Patymelt is liking how he moves, as are we women watching this hawtness of his dancing and we are sweating a bit, aren't we???? Excuse me I have to go get a cold drink, er take a break, I'm sweating, er having a hot flash, er oogling, er he's hawt, jus' sayin'. So Patymelt is telling Chucho to get to work on Alma, er, go to Alma's and have fun! So our Hawt Chucho dances all the way to the door, look at him move, and rings the doorbell. Chucho is so nervous he goes to leave and Alma says Senor, can I help you. More dancing up to her, he grabs her hands and then dances with her as she squees! Really she does! Alma looks like she is really getting into this little dance, when Chucho, guilt ridden, outs himself! He pulls the mask off and stops dancing, he can't swivel, er, do this anymore. Alma is really surprised to see Chucho and he apologizes to her. Alma didn't mind his dance at all. Sorry y'all no clothes were removed with this striptease!

You're A Monster, Mr Grinchy Rogue, Your Heart's An Empty Hole:
The secretaries at Avon are not having a good day. Dona Susanna is fanning herself, must be having hot flashes, Maricela is witching about Elias and Xochi is witching Vero and Elias divorcing when here comes St. Ferny, loaded for bear and wants to know if his unsaintly brother is there. Dona Susana tries to stop him, but St. Ferny goes right in, and punches Rogue right in the nose. Good, I hope this time it's broken! St Ferny gets right to the point about Rogue ruining the best thing he ever had in his life! Rogue tries to tell him he did it for his own good and Rogue promised their Mama he would always take care of St. Ferny. Rogue also doesn't like the Church of Enlightenment, all this talk of the light, the celestial stuff. Rogue says that Discua literally saved his life. Rogue says Discua make St. Ferny demented! They are shouting so loud that the secretaries debate going into Rogue's office but Maricela tells them, no way it's between the brothers and they stay out of it. St. Ferny tells Rogue that Discua is his reason for being. Rogue is pithed cause St. Ferny destroyed that dinero! St. Ferny declares that money was immoral and reminds Rogue he also wrote a letter. Discua is St. Ferny's one and only and he will neva, eva forgive Rogue. St. Ferny goes and Rogue wipes his bloody nose. Dona Susana sees that St. Ferny is leaving and asks if he is ok? St. Ferny tells her nothing is good and sadly goes his way.

Last Dance, Last Chance For Love:
Chucho has changed into his own clothes, and is sitting with Alma on her sofa, the camera is working recording everything, including sound. Chucho is sad noone showed up for Alma's partay. Alma tells him Patymelt was in charge of the invitations. Hmmmm... Alma wants to know all about the dancing how did that happen? He tells her it's a long story. She reminds him to call her Alma again, cause he called her Lic. again. She doesn't have many friends and noone showed up. Chucho tells her that Patymelt did show up but left to do something. Alma laughs about him dancing. Chucho explains about the sick stripper, how he took his place. Alma feels this partay was all for nothing. He tells her he won't abandon her, he'll celebrate with her. She still wants to celebrate but not there. Where? Anywhere she says. She thanks Chucho for the dancing hawtness, er, the dance and he says it was a pleasure. Note to Alma: Please chica when was the last time Rogue danced for you? He just sends you tulips, lame!!!!! And relations by appointment, please! There should be a big L for loser on Rogue's forehead!

All I Want For Christmas Is My Mom and Dad:
Vero and Elias have come to Valentina's room. Valentina isn't happy about the divorce and Vero and Elias do admit they aren't happy about it either. Vero does tell Valentina she isn't responsible for this divorce. Elias and Vero tell Valentina they love her very much and Vero hugs Valentina, pobrecita!

Mr. Grinch Takes A Meeting With His Evil Elf:
Rogue comes out of his office and tells the secretaries he wants to see Jess as soon as she makes it in. She's late of course. Dona Susana, Maricela, and Xochi all speculate that Jess has been doin' a little somethin' somethin' with Rogue when Jess comes up and asks if they are talkin' about her? Dona Susana says she is wanted in Rogue's office. Dona Susana thinks Jess is responsible for that fight with St. Ferny and tells Jess so. Jess goes into Rogue's office. Now he lays into her about telling St. Ferny the truth about the set up. She tells him about how St. Ferny was tryin' to kill her, but hey it all worked out. Rogue says oh sure it worked but now St. Ferny is pithed at him cause Bisqua (Discua) was the light of St. Ferny's life! Jess thinks Disco (Discua) is bad! Jess proceeds to tell Rogue all about her awesome bod being in St. Ferny's bed and what happened with Disco. Now she wants to know, I think, if Rogue wants a little somethin' somethin' from her? Of course not! Rogue tells Jess about what St. Ferny said about Rogue paying for what he has done to him, and maybe just maybe St. Ferny really is in love with Bisqua, ya think!!!!!

The Temple of Enlightenment and Light:
Looks like Discua has told her acolytes what has happened with her and St. Ferny. And the light, of course the light. Well St. Ferny has shown up and is listening to her, she notices him as do her acolytes and he tries to explain about the set up, it was all Rogue's doing, Discua is the light and love of his life, he loves her so much, he even participated in the Purification process just for her, and now he is St. Ferny. Discua listens but does nothing. The acolytes are forceably removing St. Ferny from the Temple of Enlightenment. He protests all the way and Discua is crying and remembering every single moment of their best times together.

It's a Christmas Miracle:
Chatita has come to see Maricela and says it's time to go. Where? Acapulco! No not really, Chatita was distracted there for a sec. Seems Chatita spent her honeymoon there with her Chatito! No it's really about Panfilo. Seems the doc is able to save Panfilo's foot. It's a Christmas miracle! He gets to go home and now Chatita and Maricela are going to fetch him home! In Acapulco, no not really, Chatita having one of those memory blurs.

Chucho and Striptease and Lemonade, and Karaoke Bars These Are A Few Of Alma's Favorite Things:
Chucho and Alma are at a Karaoke Bar, having a good time. She is teasing him about that dance and he wants no grief about it, but is laughing with her. The waiter comes and asks if they want some tequila! Ah, no not so much. they remember the last tequila shots, so they order lemonade. They watch the guy singing karaoke and start to speak at once, several times, lol. Finally they wonder what happened to Patymelt. Alma tells Chucho all about Elias and the job Rogue gave him. Chucho is happy for Elias but sad that he and Elias are no longer friends. Elias is like a brother to him. The lemonade has arrived and they toast each other, when Chucho's cell phone goes off and of course it is Patymelt calling Haysooos. She wants to know how that little striptease went, and she's thinking about that video she'll get, when Chucho tells her nothing happened and asks Patymelt where she went off to? Isn't she Alma's BFF too! Uh, something was wrong with, er, the car, that's the ticket, something wrong with the car! Patymelt hears the music and wants to know where he is? Well he is with Alma in a karaoke bar. Shut the front door, Irene thinks Patymelt. Well, not really, but you get the drift. Alma says that Patymelt is such a good friend, okayyyy. Now their song "El Amor Manda" comes on and Alma just loves that song. Chucho tries to get her to go up and sing, but she won't go alone. They go up together.

All Marta Wants For Christmas Is Elias:
Marta has been called in for some calming influence. Elias is still trying to work on that proposal, which by the way, is due tomorrow for Avon. Elias is surprised to see Marta, but she is all happy to see him! Marta wants to know how Elias is doing, not so good, and Marta says that Vero called because of Valentina. Elias asks her is she'd like a drink, she says she'll take water. Once Elias goes, Marta talks to herself aloud and says she is professional, to calm down and Vero picks this time to come into the room and hears her. Vero asks Marta if she is thinking of a galan and Marta has the grace to blush and Vero notices! Ay yi yi! Elias comes back in and gives Marta that water and both Elias and Vero watch as she downs it tout de suite. Vero and Elias both look at her chugging that water and they want to know if she wants more. No, she's ok. Now she wants to talk to both of them calmly have a seat. They each sit down on opposite sofas. Vero goes first. She talks about trying to talk about the divorce, calmly, and Elias got upset. Elias disagrees says they had a great family until Chucho came along. Vero wants no more problems in front of Valentina. Elias says it's a big unheavel for everyone. Marta tells them it's just a divorce, not the end of the world. Elias doesn't agree it's the end of his world with Vero and Valentina. Vero and Elias start the arguing again, Marta wants them to have a time out and Elias goes to get Marta some more water. Vero claims it is all Elias fault.

Wishing You Were Here:
Julio has come dancing in and comes with a doll for Xochi, it says sunrise on its little shirt it also has little headphones on, awww. He dances the doll around in an attempt to get her to smile and boy can this guy swivel his hips. She just can't she yells. Dona Susana is at her desk and smiles at the dolly and what Julio has done, it was such a nice gesture. Julio apologizes and tells her he's sorry for trying to get her to smile, awwwww, and gives Xochi the doll and sadly goes off. What is the matter with Xochi??? She needs to get her head out of her a$$ and realize that Chucho is so not into her! Dona Susana tells Xochi what a nice gesture Julio did for her. But Xochi claims she still can't smile. Xochi is whiny. Dona Susana tells her it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Xochi does like the doll after all and Dona Susana and Xochi take the elevator to the parking garage. There is a white stretch limo and the ladies are in awe. There is Sebastian and tells Dona Susana it's time to go with him. Dona Susana is floored but pleased and Xochi is in awe.

What Goes Around, Comes Around For Mr Grinch:
Mr Grinchy Rogue is having some me time with Sanson that doll of a doggie. He just adores his Sanson, when there is the doorbell and in comes Patymelt. He wants to know what she is doing there, and she says Buenos Night, and she reminds him she has that video tape of him with ole Jess, the evil elf and not only that his karma, er she has some news for him. At this very moment his precious Alma is at a bar with Chucho as she is speaking. Bah Humbug and so here is where we end this epi!

Avances:

Alma sings to Chucho.
Mr Grinchy Rogue is going to kill Chucho with his bare hands, Bah, Humbug!

Good Evening Y'all

I got the recap up early. Please enjoy ; )

Jesus should have finished the stripping dance for Alma. I think he started out pretty good.
All that hype for nothing.

Jesus now needs to make it up to Alma in some fun way where they both participate... and I don't mean sex.

FC needs to learn how to act to dance. It would make him that much better.

On a sad note:
I just found out actor Raul “Choforo” Padilla passed away.

He is in novelas “Que Bonito Amor”,
“Un refugio para el Amor”,
“Soy tu Duena” and many others.

Great funny actor.
RIP “Chupes”.

So sorry to hear abut Raul Padilla Flaco. I loved him in Gancho. Absolutely wonderful, unforgettable role (great telenovela also). He will be missed.

MADS..you outdid yourself this time. Such a clever Christmas theme with all the bells and whistles. I'm totally invested in the Fernando/Discua romance and want this misunderstanding cleared up immediately!

And don't get me started on poor little Valentina having to listen to Elias and Vero shout and blame each other. I'm ready to arrest them both for child abuse.

Also was mighty disappointed that the striptease was cut short last night(maybe that's why I'm so cranky today!), but in all fairness....Julio should have been picked as the sub. That guy is amazing. Hope we'll get to see some more of his dance moves soon.

Was in and out of the kitchen during the segue to the bar and didn't realize it was karaoke, and just wondered why the nightclub singer was so gawdawful!

All in all, a fun night with more of Paty's incredible wheedling and teasing, and topped off with the perfect clever Christmas-themed recap. Many thanks Mads!

Very entertaining! Thanks!

I also noticed that Alma had several bottles of BALZAC red wine for the party.
And even when Jesús preaches that ''not always you get what you want''
a) He spent the night at Verónica because ''Valentina wanted it'', and
b) Valentina spent the night with him even when it was another school night.

That little mask didn't cover much. I am sure Alma knew right away who was behind those little black eyes looking at her without blinking!(creepy).

Discua failed big time! She claims being all light, all positive energy and all love and this and that and now is behaving worse than Patricia would. Why is she not listening? Where is her understanding? Why is she turning the whole sect against Fernando who needs to be accepted in, listened to and start over? I think she is being a little too harsh (for someone who is the teacher and the angular stone with three pikes or juárever she said she was in that place). I know I heart broken is a heart broken and that a hurt woman is worse than a country with nuclear weapons ready to launch, but she should prove she is different than the rest of the women who live in the darkness!!

At least Fernando saw his whole life (with Discua) before his eyes!

OK. Jéssica, thanks to her ''uterinus fogossus'' takes sex as a sport and wouldn't mind going to bed with the two brothers? I just hope not at the same time, although, juárever, could be fun, more now that they are not talking to each other...

-Do you know what time it is? Time to go get my Dad from the jóspirol before they cut the wrong leg! (Here's a joke a just remember:
The doctor has two things to tell the patient, one is good and one is bad.
-Tell me the bad first doctor.
-We cut your good leg.
-And what is the good one then?
-That now WE WILL SURELY CUT THE RIGHT ONE!

It was crazy watching those crazy Christmas lights blinking like crazy behind Verónica. Very distracting! Also, the ones at the bottom of the tree were acting up like that. I wonder...

Trivia:
This time, the Caption Lady only mistake BUCKET for TRAY. When Jesús was telling Alma about the day they met.

Madelaine, you not only write fantastic recaps but also POETRY!! This was one of those times where I enjoyed the recap much more than the episode itself.

Another Xmas tree: this time white with a gold angel on top at Alma's. Jesus's white captain suit and gold mask matched her Xmas décor perfectly. I was disappointed that his performance was so short. It was a lot of buildup for nothing.

Oh, well, on to Monday and another day closer to Xmas itself! It could be Xmas for all I know. I wonder what/if Alma will give Jesús for Xmas??

Jarifa

So happy that Fernando only did the minimal. His waxed, creepy, smooth body turned me off, and the full strip would have been worse I think. Oh I continue to watch, but my lovely Fernando's image sinks more with every epidsode. Alborado please.

Mads- Fabulous job. I loved the Christmas theme.

FC looked damn good in that costume. I was not surprised that his "dancing" lasted all of two seconds because FC can't and won't dance. They would have needed a body double if he had done more.

For a woman who didn't want a stripper, Alma sure was receptive to the strange costumed man grinding her at the door!

Pati was a riot as she got a small sample of Haysuuus the Sailor doing his thing before she took off. She was also great as she begged and wheedled Haysuuus into filling in for the stripper.

Poor Fernando! I felt so bad for him. Rogue better watch his back. Fernie knows too many of his secrets, and may have just gone from the light to the dark side.

I wish Fernando could ''see the light'' and forget about Discua, who is not at all (or at least) giving him the benefit of the doubt. She is showing her true face (the one that doesn't wink) and nobody needs to get involved with a woman so obtuse.

Oh Mads -- what fun. I loved your theme - and your little poem.

This was a fun episode. I'm actually glad that Jésus was true to himself & cut the strip tease short. (That is I'm glad for the plot development though I would have liked to have seen more of his stripping personally.)

Julio was so cute with his little doll & his dance. When will Xochitl open her eyes and look his way. He's adorable -- and obviously should have been the stripper with those swiveling hips.

So-o-o ... where will Fernando go with his redemption/revenge? Will he stay true to his new moral code? Will he turn to the darkness or to the light in his attempt to get back at Rogue? I agree with everyone that Discua wasn't very enLIGHTened in her treatment of Fern. She could have at least given him a chance to explain.

Pati's little video tape is not going to show much action -- but how will the sweet little conversation on the couch be received by Rogue?

Güera

Yowzaaaa, what a superb recap. Great job Madelaine, from beginning to end. Your "chapter" titles are a hoot and I love your poem.

ITA that Discua is not being very forgiving and generous since she won't even listen to Ferny. Shouldn't she, better than anyone, know all too well that Jess is a little conniver?

Oh, such sad news about Raul Padilla. I also loved him as Don Cesar in Gancho.

Thanks Madelaine!

I'm also sad to hear about Raul Padilla. Don Cesar (Gancho) was definitely his most funny recent role. He was great in Refugio too, but then got sick and had to leave the show. I was glad to hear he was back acting in QBA and thought he had beat his health issues. Not sure how big his role is in that one, but they will also have to go on without him in that show. I'm certain at some point we'll see some sort of tribute to his long career in that show.

Now, on to our show-- Jess even scandalized Rogue when she expressed an interest in having BOTH brothers. The girl apparently has needs.

Vivi, both Jess and Pati seem like complete nymphomaniacs. I'm not sure that Mr. Grinch Rogue could keep both ladies satisfied long term. Then again, maybe he could. No wonder he has to schedule time with Alma, LOL!

Merry Christmas!! You just got me in the spirit with your recap. Not that too many of our denizens are much in the seasonal spirit...several could use a good dose of "goodwill towards men".

Shut up Xochi. And that goes for you Vero and even Discua. Gees, I agree with everyone who pointed out that little Miss Shine the Light has some anger management issues. And letting the whole group know...I don't know. Something not right there. Ferny, lord I love his arc in this, deserves better. And good rightjob there to his bro'.

Always rather kills me when Alma talks how she has no friends. Is she not from that area where they live now? How did she and Patimelt hook up then? Strange.

Sad to hear about Raul Padilla.

Daisy

Alma has got to be one of the saddest heroines I have ever seen. And not because of the bad crap that's happened to her (dead bro; guilt about dead bro; manipulative father), because that's pretty standard. Has there ever been a heroine so lacking in friends?!! Even that b!tch Teresa had some real amigas who were good peeps.

Tks Madelaine
I'm still enjoying this silly novela, tks to FC.
I knew there wasn't going to be much dancing from hunkísimo but surprised there was that much.
My telenovio can do no wrong & I congratulate him for not wanting to remain the young galan and venturing, nothing wrong with being a middle aged galan or even an old one. Age gracefully! which he is.

Great Re-cap Madelaine...

Judy B. keep your shirt on, you seem to be a little carried away with the whole "Male Stripper" thang...don't want your mind wandering off at church tomorrow. lol.

Vivi, I agree, Alma is a sad case for a heroine, but at least her wardrobe has improved. Also, Jessica needs are more than sexual....she wants domination, and has the sexy body to do it with. Plus, they have eased up on the "white face" foundation, and with the bushie hair style, she looks like a "round the way" girl.

BTW, Discua, and the Theropist could past for sisters....

Good Morning Y'all and thanks for all the great comments.

Flaco:

I too think Jesus will make it up to Alma. He is very sweet about doing things for and with her. So sorry to hear about Raul "Choforo" Padilla. I only saw him in Un Refugio Para El Amor but he was wonderful in that TN.

JudyB:

I never thought I would be rooting for St Ferny but now I am. He went from being such a putz to such a sweet guy. I am hoping Discua lives what she preaches so to speak.

Pablo:

You have such a good eye. I completely missed the Balzac red wine, lol. Discua sure did a 180 didn't she? I hope at one point she listens to Ferny's side of the story.

Jarifa:

They did build up that striptease didn't they? But the way Chucho acted was in keeping with his character. He'd do anything for Alma, but he has a limit. I too noticed the white tree and Chucho's matching outfit at Alma's. Guardian Angels wear white don't they ; )

Anon 9:23:

That dance fit Chucho's character. I too am glad he didn't go further only because Chucho has limits unlike Rogue. Rogue will do anything to get what he wants.

Vivi:

I agree with everything you said. I too think that Rogue is going to regret meddling in Ferny's life. Rogue needs another big time setback. He's meddled a lot in Ferny's life.

Pablo:

I don't think Discua is bad, really. I think she is having a normal reaction to seeing her honey in a very bad compromising situation. Let's see what she does next.

Guera:

I too wonder if Ferny will stay on the straight and narrow, or go back to his philandering ways. I'm hoping he stays on the straight and narrow. That would be the best revenge he could do against Rogue. Rogue doesn't want him to be on the straight and narrow at all.

Cap'n:

That's a good point too, about Discua. She does know how conniving Jess is. I think Discua is going with her heart and not her head right now. When she gets over the hurt of seeing Jess at Ferny's in that compromising situation I think she'll see how she rushed to judgment. Also agree about Rogue's women, lol. Poor Alma!

Daisy:

I agree with you about Alma and the no friends. There is Chucho and Patymelt (even though she isn't such a great friend), Chatita, Maricela. They all really like her. Alma met Patymelt at school, they have been friends for a long time. I agree with you too about Xochi, Julio went above and beyond to show her how much he likes her. Too bad she has the blinders on her eyes.

Vivi:

She does have few friends, but the ones she has Chucho, Chatita, Maricela (I am including her) are very nice and concerned for her. If it wasn't for Rogue, I think Patymelt would be a good friend for her too. Besides Alma needs to get out more. She is always doing the work of three, that would be Rogue's, Ferny's and her own. When does she have the time to make friends? I always wondered about that.

Variopinta:

He did try dancing though didn't he? I thought it was great as far as it went.

Lee:

I wish Jess would channel all her energy into getting a better position at Avon with out all the nympho bidness. She thinks that in order to get a better position she'll just sleep her way up. She must have been good at being a secretary at one point, so I wish they would show her getting a position the right way. I'd really like to see a backstory on her. There must be a reason she ended up the way she did.

Varipinta:

Thanks for the info about the movie. I haven't seen it yet, but will watch today.

Vivi and Pablo:

Thank you about Jess and what she said about doing both brothers. I thought I heard wrong so I didn't include it in the recap. I should have gone with my first instinct, lol.

Pablo:

I want to thank you for this Christmas theme. You gave me the idea with you recap the other day ; )

Madelaine, great recap of a funny episode. I just got around to watching this and reading your recap and the comments a short while ago. I've not been faithful about commenting though I've kept up with and enjoyed all the recaps and comments.

I think that FC is getting better and better as this show goes on. I especially am enjoying his chemistry with Valentina, Chatita, and oddly enough with Verónica (have I ever mentioned that I think that she is gorgeous?). I've yet to be convinced of Jesús and Alma as a pair.

I think that Fernando is hilarious as is Rogelio (this is my first time with this guy and I think he is such a hoot).

I initially thought that Chatita was going to be painful (what with the Alzheimer thing although I've always liked Carmen Salinas) to watch and yet she has developed into such a refreshing treat.

This show continues to grow on me.

Carlos

Thanks!
It came to me after I heard Chatita saying that the Posada was tonight (according to my timeline should be around Dec. 14th) and then the Chestnuts... hilarious!
I had to do some mocking, couldn't help it!

Thank you, Madelaine for a great recap. For just a quick second I felt sorry for Saint Ferny.

Off Topic:

For those of you that missed Una Famila con Suerte, you have a chance to see it. It starts on May 30th at midnight, for those of you that have already seen it and miss it you can watch it again. It was a very funny TN. I will be glancing at it again myself ; )

Tks Mads
