Amores Verdaderos #149 Mon 6/10/13 seems there was a ' lovey dovey' serum special on CVS... three couples? must be a record!!
Here is a rough draft, will edit tomorrow when re-watch. sorry, my mom's AC is having trouble so will start the day at her place waiting for tech to come fix it.
Refrito: Carlos with his emotional and tearful ‘if you love something set it free…’ speech.
Roy and Lilli… Roy tells it to Lilli like it is, not my fault Guzmi don’t love you. But I will get you to love me.
Guzmi and Nikki : she wants them to go away together to be alone, he says wish I could but there are too many things going on. He wants to give her a more comfortable lifestyle. They also have to consider her family’s reaction. What will they say about you trading Roy P for a nobody like me. Nikki only cares about her love for him, can’t live without u. SMOOOOO ching…
Back to the ones ‘left stranded’ Roy and Lilli. He is so regretful of not having been brave enough to walk out of marrying Nikki. Lilli reminds him her dad has Roy on his ‘most wanted’ list for hurting her. Roy still wants a chance to prove his true feelings for her. She still pushes away. He wants her to admit she has no chance in heck with Frankie. She will try to forget Frankie but will focus all her energy in work. No time for a loser like u. He begs on his knees, to no avail. (a Romeo and Juliet scene gone all wrong, I would say)
JA is surveying the surroundings, reporting on radio ‘Its 10 pm and all is weeeell!!!! … well, spoke a bit soon, Roy Toy is coming out and JA spots him, takes him as his physical defense practice bag…
At hospital, little Briss princess II is born… there were no complications in birth. Dances congratulates Nil-Brains-Guts. Nil-Brains is worried KenDrat will use this baby to pressure him some more.
Back to Big Gorila and little RoyToy. RoyToy tries to get big Gorilla to understand his marriage was a fluke and he truly loves Little flower girl. It will be different now. Want to prove to all of you I truly love Lilli. Will do it with or without your permission. JA lets him go. JA thinks…( maybe was a bit hard on the young punchbag ?... have to replay this minute to make sure).
JA goes to little greenhouse to confront Lilli. Lilli could care less if Roy divorces. Don’t want any part of him. Love was not made for me. She slips about the greenhouse Anyballs bought for her. JA thinks it is way too much, was a stretch the classes she took paid by Anyballs, the greenhouse is too much. Neither any gifts from Ms Vicky.
Back to the lovebirds on living room floor… a bit of lovey dovey talk… exchange promises, he wants to give her luxury, she says had luxury all my life but was not happy. All I need to be happy is your love. And have that already. Lovely embrace.
Poor cry boy Carlos having a drink admiring an old picture of Vicky. Adri comes in. She asks if it is bad timing. He says on contrary, could not have come at better time. He serves her some champagne. She notices he is sad/strange. He says just closed for good a chapter of my life that lasted 25 yrs. That story is put away in the trunk for good.
The lovebirds have made it to bedroom, she is in his arms… prince/princess lovey dovey talking right into SMOOOOOO ching…. Undressing… falling on bed…
At Pavia manor, RoyToy and his mother come to talk to dad… Dad not looking forward to Roy explaining his separation. HE did not come for them to welcome him home. He came to tell them he is in love. Mommy is in disbelief… Dad wants to talk about it. Doris sits down too, want to hear this. Roy says his life has taken a turn, he is in love with someone he met before he got married. He wants to earn points to get the biggest prize of his life, his … wait for it… wait for it… amor verdadero. Doris guesses it must be a girl who is even wealthier than Nikki. He drops the bomb… the daughter of Vicky’s bodyguard. Doris falls to couch upset, Dad goes through roof angry. Roy is determined, he repeats that this girl is the most valuable thing in his life, and leaves.
Nil-Brains goes to see KenDrat… asks how it went. She says she can’t forgive him for leaving her to give birth. But the important thing is I gave you a daughter. He asks why her labor came ahead. She says she just went OUCH!! And Dances brought her to clinic. KenDrat asks Nil-Brains to love and care for her baby forever if something happens to her. Dances is walking by them, holding his giggles inside. Dances excuses himself. Nil-Brains asks him not to tell at the B house that KenDrat’s baby is born. Dances leaves.
KenDrat fakes crying. She is afraid he won’t be attracted to her anymore. Nil-Brains falls hook, line and sinker for the fake script. She turns away and celebrates her success.
JA meets with Vicky at her studio. He can’t keep his hands off her. He wants to take her somewhere, it is a secret. She has something to tell him. She begins to talk, barely gets to mention the name ‘Carlos’ and JA goes beserk with anger. But Vicky keeps talking, Carlos wants to go to Venice (not sure what else, have to rewatch this, but it does calm down our HuggerMan)… just when JA was getting his breathing back to normal and happily embraced Vicky, Lilli comes down and faces them…
KenDrat asks Nil-Brains for a house. Nil-Grains again repeats that until divorce is final can’t give her a house. She then turns her acting script on the doctor. She wants her daughter to be brought over. Doctor tells them the baby is going through some studies, congenital cardiopathy (some serious heart issue, is my guess). KenDrat continues her acting, my daughter can’t die!! She can’t DIE!!! Doctor repeats the baby is in serious condition. KenDrat yells at Doctor, no matter the cost, you have to make her better!!
Nil-Brains confirms KenDrat’s request, no matter the cost. KenDrat begs the doctor. Doctor tells KenDrat she has to recover strength to be healthy for her daughter. KenDrat keeps holding on to Nil-Brain’s hand, Nil-Brains and the Doctor leaves and we see the true feelings coming out of KenDrat… Darn escuincla!! After all the hassle I went through with you I don’t deserve to have to care for you now!! SO you have to get better!!
Lilli is mad at Angel… she came to pick up some video… the conversation turns to the greenhouse, how Lilli will split her time between the greenhouse at the house and the other one. Vicky leaves, Lilli remembers Cris’ arguments about suspecting Vicky being her daddy’s mistress. Then Lilli turns to her dad very seriously ‘Not with Vicky B, Daddy! Not with her!!’
JA denies that there is anything between him and Vicky. Lilli tells him she would never forgive him if he had anything with Ms Vicky. Not for just a hunch, but for the memory of my mother.
Doctor takes Nil-Brains to see little Mia… Another mother is standing by him, talking about her own baby miracle… your daddy will be so happy,… I am so happy to have you… Thank you God for this little angel that gives us another reason to live…. Nil-Brains walks away upset, maybe with some remorse??
Back to KenDrat, she will use the fact that the baby is sick (tying Nil-Brains even closer)
Nil-Brains comes in upset, baby is so fragile… KenDrat threats him, if something happens to her, I will die too!! I went through so much all by myself, it was so easy for you to leave me stranded… she yells at Nil-Brains that she never had the love she needed from him, gets startled, he has to pin her down to bed by her arms… KenDrat is really working her script out on him… and he is buying it at retail price. She keeps repeating if my daughter dies, I will kill myself!!
Guzmi and Nikki keep the lovey dovey talk… when did you fall in love with me?... she is not afraid of anything now that he is with her… he will be there for her forever… more kissy kissy…
Back to KenDrat’s bedside… she is less violent and more depressed now… she wants him to promise he won’t go away. She was waiting for Mia with so much hope. Now to think she can die… heart conditions have to be monitored closely for lifetime. … she feels at ease to know Nil-Brains won’t abandon his daughter. Tears add to script… her tears are faked, his tears are actually real…
At Carlos apartment, Adri is tearful, seems they have just watched a movie… he admires how romantic she is… she says our hearts are alike. (he moves in for a kiss … on to caressing each other… )
Vicky comes back to Studio, JA sitting down concerned. Vicky asks how it went. He says Lilli is very perceptive. She asks if he could tell her they have a relationship. He could not. Lilli is very jealous. She remembered how Cris was suspecting Vicky. Vicky is very understanding. With time Lilli will understand. He says hope so, cause can’t live without you. Vicky admits she loves him too, but had to wait so long that now have to be very careful and work on our relationship very firmly. He says could not live without you. These two also go into major warm-ups… (three couples going at it all at once (within a couple minutes screentime)?? Must be a record!)
Back to Carlos apartment, Adri pulls the plug… it is crazy… you were my sister’s guy and up till recently you were going after her… he says no blame here… we have not done anything wrong. What is so wrong about two people exchanging ‘lovey dovey’?
At Paula’s, Dances arrives with red roses. Seems it is pretty late. Paula wants to talk to Dances before he goes to see Bea. She tells him when she met him she thought he was with another woman. Dances says he broke up with kenDrat when he met Bea. She thanks him for everything he has done with Bea and her grandson. Dances says not a good catalog man. Have made mistakes in life.. Paula says not important. She knows he would die for Bea and her son. She goes to get Bea.
Back at Guzmi’s apartment, Nikki sent a text to Vicky saying she is with Guzmi. She gets a text back right away. ‘happy honeymoon, dear. You deserve it’ Guzmi says he will always thank Vicky for all her support. Nikki tells him Vicky also fell for her bodyguard. Guzmi wishes that they will be as happy as we are. Nikki mentions that the only hay in the glass of milk is that she has to relate to the daughter Lilli… we will be step sisters, can you believe it? (Guzmi laughs, they get into a pillow fight… right into more bedgames, she has the giggles…)
Previews: Nil-Brains still very moved at the condition of his daughter. Voiceover says about a crime, a crime planned by her own mother (OUCH!!)… everyone fears what could happen…

I actually am starting to admire Roy, don't hate ; ) I like how he told Lili exactly how it really is and I really do believe he loves her indeed. I like his standing up to her Papa Angel and also his 'rents. Little do his 'rents know who she really is. I can't wait for them to find out. Roy has got some cajones I must say! Now if only Lili would see that.
I don't like the way Lili is acting with her Papa. No Ms Vikki, just cause her Mama imagined things were going on that weren't, not at that point. I wish the Angel would tell her what Cris said when she was dying, about going after his happiness. But Lili probably wouldn't believe him.
I am really liking Joan and Adri but she is right, it is a bit too soon for them. I can't wait to see where this goes.
Nikki and Guzmi were so cute, I must say. I loved the pillow fight. I think Guzmi said he had to look for another job, cause he can't be her bodyguard anymore. I like the fact that Nikki isn't so much into her money anymore. She is really starting to mature.
Kendho is just such a, I have no words, other than cuss words, so I will leave it at that. I fear for that poor innocent little bebe. She is just a tool for the Kendho to get whatever she wants. And the mention of hiring a Nanny, of course, but glad there will be a Nanny cause I can't see Kendho taking care of poor Little Mia. Better the Nanny than Kendho. I hope little Mia makes it. FF actually showed emotion, will miracles never cease????

Madelaine, like you, I'm surprised but am blushingly admitting Roy has taken the high road to redemption. Proclaiming his love to Lil, telling her the truth that Francisco never loved her, not running away in terror from JA and most of all, standing up to his social climbing peniless parents was gratifying. And yes, Cheryl "evolved" was the perfect word for his transformation.
Karen, so happy you are back! Good luck on your move...I totally agree about Anibal. He is loathsome and his double standard (along with lying, cheating, etc.) has moved him to the realm of indifference for me. I could care less what happens to him - he and Cande can go away...Whatev...
I was starting to warm to Carlos and Adri. Had he kissed her once last night, it would have been sweet but he pounced and his aggressiveness left me cold. I'm starting to rethink them as a couple although I would like to Adri have someone to share her life with. I'm just not convinced now he is the one.
Vicky has always been respectful and caring about Lili's feelings. I know she and JA WANT to be discrete, but those kisses. My heavens. Nothing discrete about them. Sigh. :)
Although Nelson's tears were real, I confess I wasn't moved one iota. I do hope Mia survives to be raised by parents who will love her. Kendra is monstrous. Love that she looked picture perfect with nary a hair out of place after that long and painful birth. So realistic! ;)

Thanks, Marta. Lilli seems to be channeling her mommy right now. Maybe in a subconscious attempt to keep Chris alive. Has Adri just stopped looking for her lost daughter now that she's got a new wardrobe and lost the hippie skirts...and found Carlos ? I've known controlling people , but Anyoldballs wins the prize. After all these decades of trying to micromanage everybody in his family, can't he just relax and enjoy the rest of his days. p..s. That was a rhetorical question. We all know that the answer is NO, he can't. Let's more of that chemistry between the Big Guy and Miss Vikki. Cyn' is she still wearing trousers ? I was watching The Voice and just surfing into AV , so I didn't notice Vikki's wardrobe choice.

She is of age now, not some twelve year old, even if she is acting like one, but Angel is very sensitive to her feelings so maybe waiting will be better. I don't know though, Lili is so bitter, I hope she wakes up and smells the coffee and realizes Frankie is not ever gonna be with her.
I also think at some point Anyballs' hubris will come to bite him in the behind. He thinks he has all his bases covered. I'm thinking not so much. Cande and FF could put him in the hurt locker but good. He needs some comeuppance for sure. He is not the all wise and all knowing Anyballs as he thinks he is!

Lili actually behaved better than I thought she would. She was polite and didn’t go off on Miss Vickie. I wished JA had used it as a teaching moment, by saying something like he and Miss Vickie were growing closer and who knows what the future holds. Then later he could tell Lili how Cris implored him not to stay alone and have Opalina vouch for the signals Cris sent for him to just be happy. I winced at JA’s total denial that Cris had any reason for jealousy (even though her berserker period was no good) cause if he didn’t know it back then, he definitely knows in retrospect that he and Miss Vickie were in the process of falling love.
Yuck. Roy did have to go and stand up to his parents’ snobbery and JA too. Looks like he’s going to be a keeper and I’m going to have to get with it. All Roy needs to do now is work hard to recover his tennis game.

Hello all! I’m back from CA and love reading the recaps. I actually caught the show last night. It had just started when I got home from the airport. Thanks for the great recap of this lovey dovey (except for Kendra) episode.
Since no one else is going to do it, I’m going to cut Lili some slack. What I heard her say this episode is that she’s given up on Frankie and is going to throw herself into her work. This is good.
She also told Roy that it will be very hard for her to trust him again. This is very good! He SHOULD have to work hard to win back her love after what he did to her.
She asked Vicky permission to rearrange her work schedule so that she could take care of her plants, AND run the greenhouse for Anibal. She wants to work for both of them, without neglecting either. This shows a great work ethic and maturity. Nikki could take a lesson.
She did not put on an attitude or act rude to Vicky, although she (and anyone with eyes) could tell that JA and Vicky were being more than just “friendly” with each other. Well done! This is more restraint than any of our characters have ever shown when they see something they don’t like.
Mads- Lili told JA at the time that it WOULD be difficult to see him with another woman, although she would understand that it would be natural. And yet, she is the one who opened up the door to him hooking up with Adri. But a pairing with Vicky, the woman who her mother was convinced was stealing her husband’s love (true), would feel like an insult to her. She told JA, anyone but Vicky. So she is not opposed to JA moving on. The idea that the person is Vicky has certain connotations though, that are hard for her to accept. Does she need to accept it? Yes. Will she eventually accept it? Yes. But it’s understandable to me that it would take time.
I do blame JA for all this. He doesn’t want to be the bad guy with Lili and a) admit Cris was right, and he did develop feelings for Vicky while they were married; and 2) he and Vicky are definitely in a relationship now. He’s being a coward.

Lili has been a bit bratty in your absence but Niecie correctly pointed out she could have been far worse. You are right, she is making progress. I agree with Vivi, Lilli needs to be given time to assimmilate that what her mother was suspecting all along could become a reality soon (even if by now her dad is NOT being unfaithful, er... maybe, but only to her memory, not to Cris herself... and yes, i would share with Lilli that Cris herself asked JA to find someone new) And I also agree with Vivi that it is JA's fault for having denied it even after he realized his true feelings for Vicky.

JA's lie is just going to make things with Lili SO much worse when she does find out the truth. I am not looking forward to that Balvanera tantrum, because we know all the Balvanera ladies can bring it when they feel they have been wronged.
I think Adri should go ahead and have fun with Carlos, maybe get some more experience under her chastity belt (she's only been with 1 man, and when she was 14!), and then dump him when Vicente comes back into the picture. And I really only say that because I'm hot for the actor who will play Vicente. :)

Dulce Maria, Alfonso Herrera and Christian Chavez. Sherlyn was also
a main part of the novela as was Arron Diaz and yes, Sebastian Rulli
as well as some other well known stars. Bea's boyfriend Salsa Dude was one of the teachers at the school. You can still buy it but I don't think that season three was ever released. Anyway, you can still get to see a much younger Guzmancito.

Wow, the familia Pavía can really match the Balvaneras' level, drama-wise. So much keening and wailing over Royero falling in love with a-gasp!-commoner! Like they're really all that fancy. Have they forgotten that they were bankrupt until Roy married once to bail them out? Wasn't that enough? They are ridiculous.
I loved how JA immediately drew his gun when he saw RoyBoy. I think he totally could tell who it was. I'm glad Roy is finally shaping up and standing up to people, but he deserves to be given a hard time, too.
I'm thinking maybe Yawn Carlos should get together with Polita. She wouldn't let him steamroll her, she's interested in showbiz, maybe she'd be happy with an older guy from a humble background who can appreciate her enthusiasm.
