Qué Bonito Amor #76 (Mex 112-113) Tuesday 7/30/13 And they are back together again, but for how long?

My work situation is a bit crazy now, two out of four people are out on vacation and guess who has to pick up the slack? If you guessed 'Eli' you would be right, so this will just be a bullet list of things that happened in this episode, which was kind of a slow one!

*Jorge and Justo are in the vencidad, JA says that if Maria can't/wont forgive him he will return to El Lay and turn himself in. Justo tells him that maybe he should write Maria a letter telling her how he feels, JA thinks this a stupid idea but Justo says that he used to write letters to Altagracia and it worked for them, this makes JA change his mind and he writes a letter to his bonita.

*Gloria is visiting with Maria and Amalia, she gives Mari good advice, she should not let this bring her down! She's a warrior and should fight to get better and to be with the man she loves! Do any of you get the feeling that sometimes the writes find a word in the dictonary and then keep using it, and using it and using over and over again? I think last weeks/this weeks word of the week is "guerrera, did I spell that right? We should all be lucky to have friends as good as Gloria, she might be one of the only ones with brain cells in this TN.

*Maria gets the letter JA wrote for her and it is a very pretty letter (he could do so much better!), he talks about them being together and getting over the loss of the baby, the letter works its magic and Maria makes her way down JA's vecindad room, she tells him that she is there to talk about their future and what will happen with their love, Justo happens to be there and tells her he will leave so they can speak in private, but before he leaves he tells Mari that whatever her decision she will always be a part of the Garza clan. I remember one of my first recaps for this, I said Justo would never win a father of the year award, I take that back.

*Mari tells JA that she wants them to be together, she will always be with him and they can get over the bad things that have happened if they have each other. JA tells her that he believes in eternal life and that someday they will see their baby and that they owe it to the baby to be with each other.

*The little street urchin, I can't remember his name and Isa sing and dance on a corner in order to get money for Amalias medications (sniff, sniff, I think I got something in my eye), they are short a few pesos but our little mariachi has good game and gets the medications at a discount, you go little street urchin, you go! Isa and LSUTS (little street urchin that sings) go back home only to get yelled at by Amali-does that woman do anything else? It's like her day goes like this: Judge JA, blame everything and anything on JA, cry, scream, rinse and repeat. She goes off on the kids and once she finds out what they were up to calms the Eff down and thanks them for wha they did, Justo happened to be visiting and gives the kids some money for icecream.

*Gloria and Oscar face off, she tells him that she can forgive a lot of things, but the way he has mistreated Rodrigo is not one of them. Oscar tells her that he took care of Rodrigo, apologized for rejecting him and helped him get back together with Paloma, oh and he even asked Amalia to teach him how to cook so he could make meals for Rodrigo. Oh, I guess he expects a pat in the back for trying to be an adult, he should just go to a corner in his apartment drink some tequila and play with his cock for the rest of this telenovela so we don't have to deal with him. Just a suggestion!

*Gloria and Amalia talk about Oscar and Amalia sticks up foe him, she is a witness to him trying to learn how to cook! If Oscar was trying so hard to be a good dad how is it that poor Rodrigo ended up hungry and with no food or money, explain that Amalia!

*Mirna talks to Elvirus (kudos to the recaper that came up with that!) and tells her that she is worried about her, something in her eyes has changed and she wants her to know that as her mother she will always be there and love her no matter what. Elvirus cries a little, eh, who knew she could have human feelings?

*In El Lay Curtis and Derecho have found the weapon that killed Bruno (and Arnold?), Curtis continues to sexually harass Derecho and then she POINTS the weapon at him and he pretends to have a heart attack. I can't deal with these two, they are too stupid to live.

*Also in LA, Wendy and Mike are chilling out in the jail, he drops something and she helps him pick it up, they kiss, this make him happy.....until she tells him that she does not love him and is only withhim cause she needs a baby daddy, he is okay with this! The hell?! Why would you be with someone that does not love you Mike? I still maintain that you could find someone through inmatesseeklove.com

*Irasema tells Mancia that Susanito is in jail, accused of having killed Fabnot, Mancia freaks out and runds screaming into Amalias home, yeah, cause Amalia will be able to help you *eye roll*.

I think I've covered almost everything, if I missed or got something wrong let me know, I'm going to go cry over Mike Johnson and his bad romantic choices, Ta-ta.

Previews: It looks like the boys figure out that Marias accident was no accident after all!

Before I forget, shall we place bets on how long it will be before maria and Santos break up? I say 3.5 episodes, tops.

Eli you got it all.

I guess Amelia missed the fact that Gloria gave Maria such good advise that she went back to JAntos and once AGAIN pledged undying love (until her next flip out) or she wouldn't be so welcoming to the other woman.

So Amelia to rip into the little kids who only earned money for her meds. I couldn't believe how she was acting in front of Justo until she got herself under control and turned on her kissy mommy face. Must have fooled him since he later said he admired her she was such a good mother. I guess so in some weird universe. To bad the kids arrived just as Amelia was about to tell him she wasn't happy about the reconciliation. He is smart enough to read the signals she sends out that she wants no part of JAntos in her family.

Amelia again being Oscar's champion this time saying he was a good father. Rolling my eyes. I guess in her world it is ok to leave your kid in a house with no food and no money as long as he was off on his fruitless crusade for her nina.

All I can say is Thank God JAntos and Maria showed up while Mancia and Irasema were spilling Susanito;s tale of woe. I could just see Amelia suggesting that they all go and talk to that nice Don Ruben, he's a lawyer and would help. As if.

You got all the important stuff and left out the filler. Good stuff. One point: JA and Maria walked in on Mancia telling Amalia about Susanito's arrest.

I almost choked at your suggestion that Oscar should just go to a corner in his apartment drink some tequila and play with his cock for the rest of this telenovela so we don't have to deal with him. Somebody is going to take that one way out of context!

Mike isn't the hottest tamale on the plate but he could do so much better than Wendy. He's a good guy who deserves someone who loves him and who isn't in the habit of betraying her own brother.

Not a big fan of Wendy but she was at least honest with Mike. Now the ball is in his court if he wants to settle for second best to a dead gangster.

Laughed at the Oscar image which could definitely be taken two way and admit to taking it the wrong way.

Where the heck is OJ? The GF gave him a month to get the money back - fat chance of that happening. Dumb and Dumber spilled about JTNR which should have sent him hot footing it to the DF but we have seen no sign of him. Speaking of the hapless cops, they already had that gun and knew OJ owned it so why all the craziness with it last night like it was a new discovery. Continuity screw up or just another scene to show how stupid these two are.

Thank you, Eli. What a hoot of a recap! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and all the recappers’ work, especially when you are busy with real life.

“Oh, I guess he expects a pat in the back for trying to be an adult, he should just go to a corner in his apartment drink some tequila and play with his cock for the rest of this telenovela so we don't have to deal with him. Just a suggestion!” If you only knew how hard I laughed at this! OMG!!! I think I like your short and snappy recaps!

“LSUTS (little street urchin that sings)” Very cute, Eli! This little guy is starting to grow on me, though I still am having trouble with the obnoxiousness quota.

“Elvirus (kudos to the recaper that came up with that!)” *takes a bow* *blows kisses* :)

Mike, Mike, Mike. You’re an idiot.

BTW, there is no WAY that any respectable middle class family in Mexico would allow their children to busk on the street for money. No freaking way. Aside from being really, seriously, severely dangerous, it is something that only the desperately poor would do. Amalia was completely correct in chewing out Isa, but it’s pretty darn hard to stay mad when she found out why. That’s why Justo was so approving.

Justo is just laying on the charm offensive.

Ah so you came up with Elvirus! Well done mate! PS, LOVE your comments! And thought about you during the "Gran Final" of Amores Verdaderos when the televisa rat was nowhere to be seen, I thought "Oh no, someone forgot to feed it, I'm sure it is DEAD",lol.

I would hardly describe their living conditions as Middle Class. And despite her justifiable disapproval Amalia was very declassee for scolding them in front of Justo.

Isabel remembers every reproach.

Giuliano won't be out of the picture long. Thus far he's earned the worst Karmageddon.

I would imagine la rata was busy filming somewhere. ;)

Afterall, they have a superstar on their hands. Gotta make hay.

The Medozas are middle class. Not by American standards, but by Mexican ones they most definitely are.

Or gotta go out and make that cheese, that cheddar, lolz

Ay, Eli--to quote everyone else, you got it all and then some!

Everyone is rolling the eyes.

Best line of all, [Oscar] " should just go to a corner in his apartment drink some tequila and play with his cock for the rest of this telenovela so we don't have to deal with him." That's more than a suggestion, it is our fervent wish.

At least in QBA we are pretty sure LSUTS is a boy, and a cutie pie at that.

We're all on the same wavelength re Mike. Mike, Mike, open your ears. There's a nice Mexican girl waiting for you at JNTR in DF that needs someone like you. Poor thing, he has no idea what a snob he's in love with.

So tired of wishy washy Maria. On this episode, off the next, on again, off again, forever and ever hasta el gran final! Hijole, ya basta!

Have to admit I'm getting that obnoxious vibe from Jalisquito. The kid has talent but I guess like a lot of street kids he is wise beyond his years. It's kind of unnerving to watch especially when he is around Isa who acts much more age appropriate.

Cannot wait to see what happens tonight with what looked like another accident which will blow Elvirus out of the water.

Noticed last night we seemed to be back on the usual time schedule and alas a boatload more commercials interrupting the flow. I wondered if they would cut into Tempsted times and i guess not.

Welcome back, Anita!

Thank you for the recap! It was definitely full of snark!

I knew Maria would go back with JA. We will see how long it lasts though before someone or something pulls them apart again.

Hopefully someone will oust Elvira and figure out the truth.

Glad Gloria is back because she's pretty much saving this TN for me from disaster. Well sort of, at least some
parts she's setting things right for someone.

Concerning Giu, I think right now viewerville is getting the calm before the storm,

Jalisquito's singing to Isabel is really creepy. Let him sing, but why make it love songs that are for people way beyond their age and have him leer at her that way? Ugh! Stop trying to pair off everybody and let kids be kids!
