I just realized that maybe what Paty the Back Stabber was drinking may not have been poison, she was still alive.

Most excellent recap! I like your name for Marta, Dr. Loca, how true it is.

That was scary with Marta sudden morphing into the other personality. I wonder if that guy beating Marta was her husband, she had told Elias all about this the first time she went BSC. Vero should have also remembered not to let Marta anywhere near Val. Elias did warn her about that at Christmas. I am glad Vero called the police.

Nothing gets solved with Chucho and Alma. It is still going round and round. Maybe tomorrow there will be some movement there. I was wondering if they were going to be this way at work, and sure enough.

Sebas is just stoopid. It is all that secretario's fault! Of course it is, Alma can't decide for herself, doncha know. What an idiot! I hope Alma tells him to mind his own beeswax!

Rogue is a mess. I can't wait until this video is opened by Alma and woe to Rogue. Patymelt could play her voice off on that video, she was with Ferny when it was taken. The one that will have the major fallout I think with be Jessy. She's in big trouble now.

I like how Ferny is not backsliding and who knew that Ferny is older than Rogue? I always thought it was the other way round. I am glad he is staying true to the light path ; )
 

Rogelio IS older, that's why he took care of Fern, but he (Fern) calls him "hermanito" as an endearment because he (Rogelio) finally told him he loved him when he (Fern) agreed to switch places with him in jail, not realizing Rogue only said it to get out of jail (Rogue was grimacing and rolling his eyes the whole time Fern was happily hugging him) . Hermanito also means little brother, but not in this case.
 

Tablet Jefa, thank you for the great recap. I too loved your "Dr. Loca". In her own way, Marisela continuing to lie to Elias was just as loca or just plain stupid. Elias needs to give her the old heave ho. Maybe Paty will realize that drinking and emailing don't go well together. Whoopsie!

Happy Day after the 4rth TJ!! Thanks for the stellar recap. Wow--weird episode last night. Definitely parked the comedy for some segments.

So we get further hints of Dr. Loca's background. That was down-right chilling. Poor little Val. She keeps having to see people she trusts and loves being messed up.

SOOOOO glad that Elias confronted Mari. Now let's hope this puts an end to her charade. And frankly, an end to them period. Add ending the Ferny/Jessica thing too. Love he looks to have moved permanently to the "light", and I think he needs someone new who gets that. Of course, she's about to be out of the running for employee of the month anyway.

Patimelt did realize that when she sent the email, she revealed SHE sent it anyway. So having her voice is just another layer to "why did you have this"? She and Mari need to get together and compare notes on acting stupid. (but she's cuter and funnier so I cut her some slack).

And three cheers for Cardenas. Maybe he should stay in his role. When was the last time we saw these people work so hard?

Yikes, that scene of Meltdown Marta was rather chilling. I hope Vero follows through with her call to the police and has Marta investigated. That woman (Dr. Loca) needs serious help and now.

Best scene - when Elias called Maricela to the carpet for all her lies. Which leads me to wonder, do Maricela's co-workers actually believe her lies or do they sense she's full of it and just let her blather on?

There were quite a lot of revelations in these last couple of episodes. I'm so glad that Elias is on to Marisela. I hope she levels with him & doesn't try to tough it out.

The backstory on Dr. Loca was nasty and that meltdown was scary. I hope she's really gone. I was afraid she was going to kidnap Val, believing her to be her lost daughter Jimena. It looked as if the abusive husband made her lose the baby & the doctor she imagined speaking to in her hallucination was probably the one that told her that she had lost the baby who "would have been six" if she hadn't been lost. I knew someone once who suddenly remembered the abuse of her own childhood when her daughter reached the age she had been when the abuse occurred. Something seems to have triggered this psychotic episode. Is it Val - or Elias - or both?

I hated the way they kept teasing us with that emailed video. I hope that the previews are right & that Alma sees it. It could, of course, be another of Patymelt's thought bubbles. I hope not.

OMG! I just watched the Marta scene. Wow! The flashback scene was actually very well done, but totally out of place in this light "comedy." Poor Marta. Yeah, I actually feel very sorry for her now, but she needs help and shouldn't be tasked with helping other people right now.

Güera- You're likely right that Val being just the age that Ximena would be is part of what's setting Marta off now. Perhaps Elias too, since the idea of a man being so loving and nuturing to a child that isn't even his is such a contrast to her ex (dead?) husband who was capable of beating his own child out of her. In any case, yikes!

 

How scary was Marta? Sheesh, poor little Val! Veronica was smart to run to the room with her and lock themselves in (probably the one and only time I'll say, "Yay! Veronica."

Marta certainly has issues, but I feel bad for her. One of the things she remembered the most was when (apparently) the doctor who told her the baby was lost did so in a very cold and impersonal manner, simply telling her "sorry, the 'product' was lost!"
 

Vivi, I completely agree that the horrific Marta flashback scene was totally out of place for this production.

I'm playing catchup and just finished Tuesday's ep. That bracelet looked awfully like something from Tiffany's so I looked it up. Yep, its a Tiffany's bracelet (I suppose it could be a knock off, but with Jesus' promotion, he could probaby afford $150 that T&Co is asking for it). I'm guessing the ring is also from T&Co, but I didn't think to check..
