La Tempestad, September 16, 2013. Capitulo 36.
Fully gets onto Nereo for mistreating the girls. The customers are complaining that the girls are being delivered bruised and unhappy. (Really? Perhaps their unhappy because they are being SOLD as slaves you idiot) Anyway, Fully says he better treat them well or else. Hernan makes his grand entrance and tells Nereo that he lives in a pigsty. Nereo tells him to pay him better and the conditions will improve. Who invited you to come over anyway? Hernan ignores him and asks Fully what he wants. Fully tells Hernan that Nereo is mistreating the girls and the customers are refusing the deliveries. All this is going on as Robles is listening in via hidden camera. Hernan tells Nereo that he is giving them to many problems. Whatever says Nereo. Like you could find someone else to take care of the girls. Hernan laughs his wicked laugh and informs Nereo that both he and Fully appreciate him, but the girls are like delicate fruit. Would you buy the bruised ones? Or the fresh ones? Nereo understands but still gripes. Hernan laughs again and tells Nereo not to make fun of them and calls him an idiot. We have someone who could easily take your place. Who asks Nereo. Lazaro replies Hernan. Nereo laughs and Fully is not a happy camper. Hernan says you can leave, but you will be burying yourself. (meaning he can only leave dead) Nereo looks worried and Fully tells him to stop arguing and obey orders. Nereo says fine, but who is my boss? Fully and Hernan both say they are. Knock on the door and it's Robles. He wants to know what the major of the town and the local millionaire have to do with a shady character like Nereo?
DamFine and Marina are taking a stroll in the woods. DamFine tells Marina that he had a talk with Maya-loca and told her to quit messing with her and her family. I told my boys that we are going to keep watch over you and your family for awhile. Marina is grateful and DamFine will do anything just to see her smile. She says his manly muscular arms make her feel safe and secure. He's happy that Bea decided to stay. She kisses him and says this is for taking such good care of my mom and the people of this town. Hernan laughs and asks what's so strange about 3 men having a visit? Robles says you guys have nothing in common unless you are in the same business with Nereo. Nereo denies he has any business. Jaz looks like she's about to spill the beans and in runs Lazaro.
Muneca finds Magdalena coughing in the street.

He turns to Hernan and asks if he remembered that he promised to break his teeth and throws a punch. Marina begs DamFists to stop. Hernan kicks and punches DamFine's face. He throws another punch, which DamQuick avoids and they fall to the ground. Marina is yelling for Olinto (no offense to Olinto. I think he is adorable. But seriously, what can that little man do?)
Fully wants the guy who rented the sailboat to DamFine to tell the cops that he is the one that put explosives on the sailboat (how in the heck does this make any sense?and wouldn't he have reported this?) The guy says he won't lie for him or anyone. He will not put an innocent in jail. Fully says don't you have girls the same age as Estercita? If you don't want them to end up like her, then you will say everything I tell you too. Or your daughters will pay.
Marina is still yelling for the boys to stop fighting and calling out for Olinto. They boys are mostly hugging each other on the ground. (I like a little more punching then rolling on the ground. Although DamFine is looking mighty fine in those tight jeans).

Jose can't believe that Mercedes told Bea all about her daughters. Rebecca comes in with tea for Bea. She tells Jose since “100 Years of Solitude” await her, perhaps it's best to let Bea rest. Bea tells herself that she will make sure to take the medicine the doctor gave her every day. Just one drop (why do I have the feeling this detail is important?)
That night, Robles is talking with Mercedes. She tells him that she almost found her daughter.

Back at the cantina, Candy spots DamDepressed and asks him what's wrong. What's with the bruise? Nothing replies DamDepressed. Candy says people come here for 2 reasons. To have fun or to drown their sorrows. DamDepressed says he can't stand Hernan. He's now his boss. I swear that if it wasn't for Marina, I would quit my job. Candy advises him not to blame Marina. No matter what happens, she only loves you. DamDepressed wants to go somewhere else to talk. Olinto see DamDepressed and Candy walking off together and he wonders if they are kicking it.

Mercedes is driving to an event and she receives a call from her club manager. Muneca is looking for her. She found Magdalena.

DamSorry brings Marina roses. He asks her to forgive him. He knows he is impulsive and that makes her suffer. DamFine is walking Marina home when suddenly she can't breathe. He picks her up to carry her home. Fully calls out his name and says he's being detained. Accused of murder.

With all the yelling, Jose comes out and wonders what is going on. Lara shows him the arrest warrant accusing him of the death of Estercita. DamInnocent tells Marina to calm down and he will be back. Estercita dreams that she's in a wedding dress, running up to “Damian”, but she can't reach him. She then dreams of being in the water and wakes up yelling “Damian”. Ernesto asks her what is wrong. She says she lost him and no one could save her. He thinks it was just a nightmare. He gives her a pill to take to calm her down. I also didn't put the explosives on the boat. Fully says he will prove that he did so that DamFine could kick it with his lover, Marina. DamInnocent gets up and punches Fully. Cops pull DamInnocent back and restrain him. Fully says now your in even bigger trouble. For attacking someone who was just asking questions. I am going to prove that you are a murderer. While that happens you will stay here. Jose tells DamFists he shouldn't have done that. “I will not let him insult the woman I love” replies DamFists.

Herny has way crossed the line. Stalking and hunting down Marina is just beyond the pale. I can't stand this guy. I am so glad that Marina dissed him and walked right off, while he was spewing his garbage about DamDelicious being just an employee, and you are right Gloria, only if it is Herny!
Jaz is way smart. I think she was trying to save Laz from getting in trouble, not realizing that he secretly works for the Commandante. Wait till she finds out. Poor Laz. I hope the Commandante finds all the proof he needs against Fully, Herny and Nereo. I also like the fact that the Commandante called Mercy and told her his suspicions about Herny. Maybe Mercy can find a way to get rid of Herny at Neptune.
Why in TNs when anyone passes out they think they are dead? Mercy should have felt for a pulse or breathing at least. I am glad she finally found Maggie and is taking her to the hospital. Funny, Marina felt Maggie's pain. I hear twins can do that.
I had to laugh at Jose, thinking Mercy had told Bea everything and I'm glad Bea cleared that up before Jose said anything.
I just knew Fully would find some way to make DamInnocent pay for Ester's "death". Of course, all due to Herny, but still. DamInnocent was right on about why would he kill himself right along with Estercita. And besides why would that guy knowingly let that boat go out, knowing it was loaded with explosives and Fully's daughter on board? Scratching my head at that.
Can't wait for tomorrow to see Marianne Seones (sp) character and the trouble she causes. She always does : )

Now that Robles has informed Mercedes about Hernan, can/will she move to get rid of him? Marina should have seen and heard enough by now to rid of Hernan. Any sort of guilt/pity for him resulting from their brief childhood encounters are no reason to keep him around any longer.

Can I say how happy I was that Dam came right out and told Marina that he had visited his FRIEND Candy to talk to her, before Olinto could do something stupid like telling Marina that he saw them together. If Marina chooses to act stupid after Olinto eventually lets it slip, then that's her own problem.
Hernan was a class A jerk last night. All sorts of red flags should have been going off for Marina.

Niecie: I also thought Olinto had more sense too than to even question the possibility of DamCandy...I worried a bit after 'tho as Olinto hasn't seen or been exposed too much to the great love Dam and Marina have. Dam's crew has, but he hasn't. Damgoodthing Dam decided to mention his friendship with Candy to Marina himself and hopefully nip any ill thoughts in the bud.

Love your recaps Gloria. I too might have looked for something heavy to club repulsive Hernán . Or at least done something other than scream and scream and scream. Although that seems to be the reaction of choice in these telenovelas.

Good catch, Vivi on Marina feeling her twin slipping away, even though she doesnt know she exists. I hadn't made that connection when Marina said she couldnt breathe.

Liliana- I object to Jose being called an errand boy. He is all man. Sweet, tender, gallant and accomodating to the ladies; smart as a whip and a lawyer to boot; a hot kisser who won't allow his lady love to toy with his emotions; and has your back in a fight, bringing along his big guns (muscles) or his big...uhm, gun.
Mercedes is overacting whenever she is near or in the presence of Magdelena. Cool down mom. This cannot be good for a drug addict.

Vivi--no offense intended, my friend. I just found his revelation to be a bit suprising, even here in novela land. Jose is obviously a man of many virtues and hidden talents. Hence my recommendation for Tia Becky to make haste. In any case, a man who purchases the work of Gabriel Garcia Marquez is hot stuff in my book. :)

Remember FC's architect/lawyer/cowboy/bricklayer in MEPS? Jose is sort of giving me the same "do it all" (as opposed to know it all) vibe.
I like that, even though Jose has been there in several instances to help Damian and Mariana, he has somehow managed to stay under the radar as far as Hernan and Full-of-it are concerned. He pulled a gun on Hernan's henchie when the man pulled one on Damian; he popped in as Damian's attorney and spoke to Fool-gencio with authority and won't let Damian be railroaded; and other instances. And yet (thankfully), Hernan and the Fool haven't focused on him as a target.

What an excellent recap, Gloria. Well done.
I have to say that Hernán is doing a great job. So far I haven't developed a great deal of affection for either Damián or Marina, but I have a huge visceral dislike for Hernán. Fully's actually kind of cute and huggable while Ernesto has a sinister charm, but Hernán is downright revolting.

Frankly, DamFurious hugging/rolling with Herny looked more like a bromance with hot passionate embraces rather than a real fight.
Jose! Strong, passionate, quiet, can keep secrets, drives, cooks, brings water, has good taste in literature, and he is also a lawyer. If in the next episode he goes shopping for shoes with Becky and advises her on interior design, I would look for angel wings on his back.

Mads -- I hadn't thought about JazLu backing down because she did not want to get Lazarus in trouble. I thought that she had chickened out. Lazarus needs to tell her that he is working undercover. I don't get why he is keeping that a secret from her.
