La Tempestad, Capítulo 80, Friday, November 15, 2013: El Gran Final: Time Wounds All Heels*

An Evening of Suicide, Madness, Murder, Redemption and Romance
The Acme Anvil truck pulls away from a high-rise construction site on the outskirts of Our Lady of the Sea. It has been a busy few days for Acme, and the demand for its foolproof product is still brisk.
Esthercita, fueled by a potent cocktail of booze, pills, self-pity and resentment, teeters near the edge of the concrete slab and glances at the abyss below. Marina has already wrested baby Michel away from her. Esthercita has one final bit of venom to spew: Little Michel is the son of Ernesto Contreras!
Before anyone can stop her, Esthercita steps off, falls dizzyingly through space and ends up broken and bloody on the ground.
The Acme truck speeds off. Next!
Hernán emerges from the bathroom of the psychiatric prison wearing the orderly's uniform and badge. The orderly himself is left in the bathroom, badly beaten, maybe dead.
BOING
Hernán strolls right past the security guard at the employee exit, waving casually at the man but never looking back at him, while he fantasizes about Damián's demise.

Pregnant Much?? Not
Really.
Damian ‘outs’ Estercita’s fake-pregnancy ruse by pulling
the pregnant foam belly out from under her dress in front of the whole town. He then
throws it into the crowd, a bit like it was, say, a garter from a wedding. I
guess if you catch the fake belly you will be the next one in Our Lady of the
Sea to show up semi-pregnant.
Damian and Marina kiss and make up. They have overcome all
the obstacles to their love. (Maybe not.
This is only the penultimate episode, not the final.) The whole town claps and
there are fireworks.
Claudio Loves
Mercedes
In the hospital, at Mercedes’ bedside, Claudio tells
Mercedes that he is in love with her and asks for a chance at a relationship.
She wants to have a little time with her daughters but she will give him a
chance to walk with them. They confess mutual love.
Magdalena and Valentin come hand-in-hand to Mercedes Sr.’s
bedside. Mercedes gives her blessing to the relationship.
Bea Is Dying
Beatriz is dying. Father Tomas comes and takes her confession.
He tells her that she has completed her mission in life by raising Marina to be
the strong, courageous, noble woman she is today. After Fr Tomas confesses and
blesses her, he tells Becky and Jose that Bea is preparing for God’s final
call. Becky visits her beloved sister. Beatriz mentally tells Rebecca not to
worry. She summons the doctor who tells her that Beatriz has little time to
live. Jose is standing by during this exchange, simply bursting out of his
royal blue shirt. Jose had better stop hitting the weights so hard or he is
going to need an entirely new wardrobe.
In a close up we note that Beatriz’ makeup makes the actress
look pretty rough—her eyebrows are completely unadorned!—so we are not
surprised when Beatriz prepares to pass.

La Tempestad Capitulo 78 , Wed 11/13/13 - What’s good for Fulgencio is always bad for someone else.
Ahoy amigos y amigas, thank you for hanging in there with us amid all the crazy cuts and random editing. All the scenes that were edited out of tonight's episode are in BLUE. The scenes are mostly in order. Thank you for your patience.
The Phonymoon - Last night we left Marina in a very uncomfortable situation. To wit, Hernan is ready to “claim” his wife. He has forced her to the bed and she yells over and over for him to let her go. “Suelteme!!”
Hernan, in a convenient moment of self-awareness, realizes what he’s doing and sobs his apologies. Marina tells him he’s the worst of men, grabs her shirt and baby, and leaves him weeping in a pathetic heap on the floor. Whew! That was close.

Fully Confesses His Love
Magda and Marina can't quite understand Fully's concern for their mother. Fully questions them about Claudio. Magda responds: "He's a friend of my mother's". Fully confesses his unrequited love for Mercedes. It was unrequited because Mercedes loved Michel Fabre. Fully excuses himself and leaves.
On La Tempestad:
The bullet is removed and Bagre disinfects the DamWound. While DamFab is in pain, over in viewerville we can't help but enjoy the view of his DamFineAbs.
DamFab tells Bagre and Lolo about Marina's marriage to Hernan. They are so impactados with the news they each chug down some booze. DamNeedsSomeBoozeToo wants some booze too and is given some to chug down. DamFab tells Bagre and Lolo that Marina was forced into marriage with Hernan. DamFab will plan his next step. He'll rescue Marina and his daughter without putting them at risk. He'll lay low so Hernan thinks he's DamDead. That way Hernan will be taken by surprise with his return.
There is a lot of back and forth with this: DamFab wants to rescue Marina and his daughter. He could care less about the DamWound. DamFab doesn't want the DamWound checked on while the crew insists it get checked on. This goes on for several scenes until DamFab FINALLY agrees to the DamWound getting checked on.

La Tempestad, November 11, 2013. Capitulo 76.
DamFab comes to tell his daughter and Marina good night. Ungrateful Marina tells him there is no need. Just because their daughter was born doesn't mean anything has changed. Estercita is still expecting a another child of his. DamFab reminds her that it was a set-up. Marina recognizes that, but he let himself fall victim. DamFab feels that the baby Estercita is expecting is not his. He asks her to have confidence in him. He loves her. They kiss.
Mexico City: Crazy Hernan tells Ernesto how much he really hates him. You have turned me into a man without scruples. He pulls out a gun. Ernesto asks him if he would kill his own father. Crazy eyed Hernan tells him to come up with a better lie. Ernesto says he is not afraid of death and is not lying. But you told me you killed by parents replies Hernan. Ernesto says I ordered the man who raised you to die. I liked your mother but she kept rejecting me. So that is why I took her by force. Shut up! yells Hernan. You are making me tell you everything and you will know the truth. She kept quiet so that I wouldn't do anything to her husband. Somehow he found out the truth and that is why I ordered for them both to be killed. How can you talk about this coldly? Ernesto says in this type of business there are no feelings. That is why I never told you where they were buried. There was no reason for you to mourn them. Crazy eyed Hernan grabs Ernesto and says he's going to kill him. Ernesto dares him to shoot the man that gave him life. Crazy eyed Hernan tells Ernesto he detests him. He can't kill him, but life is a b!tch and it will make him pay for all he has done. Ernesto says he knew that Hernan didn't have the balls to do it. Ernesto tells Hernan that even though he has become a traitor, he can't kill him since he is his son. Hernan says he preferred to never know that Ernesto is his father. I would rather have died not knowing the truth. He leaves.

whilst recuperating in Los Angeles. I faithfully went to the tanning and
massage salon that you suggested and I took frequent field trips to Disneyland
with that unsophisticated dolt, Nareo.

La Tempestad Capitulo 73 , Wed 11/06/13 - Hernan is the man with the plan, but do they ever work?

Ernesto wants Hernan to prove his loyalty to him by kidnapping his hijo and bringing the bebé to Ernie ASAP. Hernan vows he never betrayed Ernie and if Ernie says frog then Hernan will jump.
DamLoyal is damglad that Marina believes him. Hugs. He wants her on his DamManlyChest and to be a family that will never be separated.
Jose helps battered Becky onto her bed. He tells Ms. CabezaDura he’s tired of her little jokes that always make fun of his feelings. He says he’ll be sure to let her boyfriend Oso know she’s been hurt. Becky wants to run after Jose but her ankle hurts, her head is pounding and she aches all over.
DamSweet and Marina enjoy the warm evening breeze in R-LayDee and agree it’s impossible for them to stay away from each other. He says they will prove to the world that their love is like the sea, infinite and eternal.

Quickly jumping out of bed he wraps the bedspread over his DamFineBod. ***Some voices can be heard saying: Drop the bedspread. Drop the bedspread*** But alas the bedspread is not dropped. Rats. He demands to know what the hell happened. Pester tells him they had the night of passion he asked for. DamFab refuses to believe this. He'd never in a million years ask her for a night of passion. He recalls the previous nights events and feeling DamDizzy after dinner. He asks her what the hell she put in the wine. She denies spiking the wine. She insists their night of passion happened because they both wanted it.

Our Ex-PeggedLegged Ernesto is on the phone sans voice distortion device. He says: "It is Ernesto Contreras. It is no joke. You know my voice."

La Tempestad, November 4, 2013. Capitulo 71.
This is actually capitulo 101 and 102. Unseen footage in red.
DamFab calls Mercedes to tell her that Mags is in town. Mercedes doesn't want Mags and Marina to meet until she gets there.
Estercita is visiting with Delfina and Fully. Fully wonders what Marina was doing at the square. Estercita says no one knows the real Marina. She ran into her today and she seemed like a different person.
DamFab takes Mags to his house. Mags wants to know what they are doing there. I thought you were going to introduce me to Marina? DamFab wanted to meet his son first and Mags finds out that Marina is expecting. Mags is shocked. She asks if he really loves Marina. Of course, with all my heart replies DamFab. Mags hopes that one day someone will love her the same way too. She thought she found someone, Valentin, but he told her to her face that he didn't love her. DamFab says not to worry. Things will turn out the way they are suppose to.
Fully reminds Estercita that as long as they are united, things will go their way. She says Hernan received another strange phone call and he thinks Fully's behind it.
DamFab asks Mags if she wants to hold the baby. Of course, she does.
Fully thinks the calls could be anybody, even her.
Bea thought bubbles that she has to get better on her own but that no one finds out. This is the only way she can save her daughter from the monster Hernan.
Speaking of the monster aka the crazed stalker, comes looking for Marina and finds out from Becky that she isn't there. She just came to give Bea therapy and went back to work. Hernan pretends to care about Bea's well-being. Becky says that the doctor was right. The movement in her lips was just a nerve twitching. Her lips haven't moved again. Hernan wants to see Bea for a bit. He tells Becky that he has a lot of affection for Bea. Becky leaves them alone and Hernan starts telling Bea that she is a pain for Marina.

NovelaMaven: Tonight we get to spend some time with two of our favorite characters and find out how they feel about the shabby way Univisión has treated them.
Tía Becky, many of us still recall your arrival in Nuestra Señora del Mar, all that flirty energy you brought to the scene with just a skoosh of… do forgive me…vulgarity. You gave a triple espresso jolt to that rather dull household where Marina and Beatriz had settled in like two prissy spinsters. And when you and Marina shared a scene, Marina seemed…I don't know…animated.
Tía Becky: It's true. At first, Marina was a little stiff. We'd have to loosen her up before filming by doing tequila shots together (the good stuff, not the paint thinner Candy sells in La Guac).

La Tempestad Capitulo 68 , Wed 10/30/13 - Lots of pining, too much whining, and too little reclining
Otra vez with the crazy cuts. Some scenes are out of order but hopefully it all makes sense. They cut out some key stuff again. Cut scenes are in PURPLE.
We start where we left off, with DamWistful and Marina separated in body but together in thought:
"Ay Marina." "Ay Damian." Our lovers pine for each other.
Hernan and Ursula have lunch. He thinks Fully is behind the telephone hijinks. Ernie is dead so it must be Fully. Ursula’s not so sure.
Meanwhile Fully fumes about running for Mayor. He’s also pithed because Hernan is trying to shoehorn him out of the mob. He won’t permit it because he wants to be the boss of everyone! He has someone who can look into Ernie’s will. Furthermore, if he (Fully) loses control then he won’t be able to defend Mercedes against those who are attacking her. Interesting.

La Tempestad Cap #67. 10.29.13. Welcome To Our HellHole, Captain Fabre! - Pester Salazar

The Old:
The Pester Blackmail - Either DamFab moves in with Pester and ditches Marina or he'll never ever see his beloved son again. What is a DamFineDad to do?
The New:
DamOhSoFine thinks Pester is nuts. The Patio nods their head in agreement. He'll never live with her and he won't let her blackmail him. Ok fine then Pester will be leaving. She leaves leaving behind the documents she gave DamFineDad so he can confirm they are legal. Marina thinks Pester has no limits. How can she be capable of separating her son from his DamFineDad? DamFineDad assures Marina he won't allow Pester to take his son from him.
Henan has taken a sip of the spiked OJ. You know the OJ with the happy pills Ursula has been slipping him so he can shall we say chill out. He apologizes for pushing her into the pool. But her argument with Zully was getting on his last nerve. She tells him she's jealous of Zully. He likes her jealously because it means she's interested. He asks her about her necklace. She tells him Fully gave it to her in exchange for her agreeing to spy on him.
DamFine and Marina consult Jose on what can be done to stop Pester. Jose can have the documents annulled but it will take time. Meanwhile nothing can stop Pester from leaving the country with her son.

DamOhSoFine thinks Pester is nuts. The Patio nods their head in agreement. He'll never live with her and he won't let her blackmail him. Ok fine then Pester will be leaving. She leaves leaving behind the documents she gave DamFineDad so he can confirm they are legal. Marina thinks Pester has no limits. How can she be capable of separating her son from his DamFineDad? DamFineDad assures Marina he won't allow Pester to take his son from him.
Henan has taken a sip of the spiked OJ. You know the OJ with the happy pills Ursula has been slipping him so he can shall we say chill out. He apologizes for pushing her into the pool. But her argument with Zully was getting on his last nerve. She tells him she's jealous of Zully. He likes her jealously because it means she's interested. He asks her about her necklace. She tells him Fully gave it to her in exchange for her agreeing to spy on him.
DamFine and Marina consult Jose on what can be done to stop Pester. Jose can have the documents annulled but it will take time. Meanwhile nothing can stop Pester from leaving the country with her son.

La Tempestad, October 28, 2013. Capitulo 66.

DamFab recalls Marina telling him
he's going to be a father again. Marina rubs her belly and tells the unborn baby
that they will all be happy together.
Ursullied tells
Estercita that the necklace she is wearing was given to her by Hernan and she
came to show Fully. Estercita says it's pretty, but not the same quality as her
jewelry. Ursullied wants to know who gave her her nice jewels. Estercita says
she will tell her another time, but right now wants to talk to her dad alone.
She tells Fully that DamFab gave her divorce papers. She needs his help. If
things keep going this way, he will lose his grandson.
Hernan in the hot red pants is
kissing some hoochie. He reminds her that he doesn't like surprises.
Fully yells at Estercita for naming
the baby after Michel Fabre. Estercita tells Fully
that his grandson really is Ernesto's and not DamFab's. (I thought he already
knew?).
Macario visits
Ernesto. Ernesto thinks in all the years Macario has worked for him, he thought
he knew him. But ever since Macario started working for Hernan he has become a
traitor. Macario denies the whereabouts of Estercita and son. Ernesto says stop
lying. Macario finally admits he knows but won't tell him. You took my family
away from me and now you will not be able to find yours. I want you to suffer the
way I did all these years. You will never, never see your son again!
Fully says he knew it!
How could you register my grandson with that name? He is Ernesto's! All this
for that man. Estercita promises to compensate him. Fully agrees to help but
only because his grandson is Ernesto's.

La Tempestad #65- 10/25/13: Dazed and Confused? No Worries, I Got The Scoop!
Ahoy, Tempestad Maties! Are you dazed and confused? Feel you have been missing something, as if you just walked into the middle of a "Lost" episode? Have no fear, Mads your recapper is here, and will make some sense of what you saw ;) Missing lost scenes are in Purple.
After we left DamDelicious talking to Bea, we see Fully on the phone. He is talking to someone we don't see.
Becky, Jose, DamFine and Marina are all at the hospital so very happy that Bea is now awake, reacting, but still not able to speak or move. Jose congrats the happy couple on the coming bebe, and DamFine lets it be known he wants to buy a house for all of them to live in. Awwww. Becky and Jose laugh. Jose would sooo enjoy that.
Fully is planning a takeover of the Organization ,aka, the mob. He wants back info on the Perv and Pester is only too happy to oblige.
Herny gets a call, it's Mac, wanting to set up a meeting in RLayDee for the other Dons. Leave it to Herny, he'll take care of it. Off he goes.
Lolo gives Candy and orchid, and he talks to her about kids. Does she want any someday? Candy is like, um yeah, sure! They are both a bit shy on the subject, but Lolo wants them too.
Laz comes back to the Naval Academy his leave is over and the guys are so happy to see him, they want to partay this evening. Laz really doesn't wanna go, but they talk him into it.
Claudio meets with Mercy and she fills him in on her bidness troubles, losing money,those stocks tanking, and she knows Perv has alot to do with that. Claudio gives her his support in anything she needs. She reaches over and toussles his hair. What a cute couple!

“I am Elna June Sonoma and this is Morning Report.
Buenos Dias. Today we begin with an abbreviated report on the telenovela La
Tempestad.
By The Sea, Veracruz

Reporter:
“This morning in Veracruz our cameras caught Marina Reverte
and Damian Fabre in a rare happy moment. Ms Reverte was heard promising El Capitan Fabre
that she will never allow him to be separated from his son (Baby Michel).
Damian expressed gratitude that Marina loves his son, but as they were talking,
their brief idyll was interrupted by a telephone call from Becky. Reverte’s
mother, Doña Beatriz Reverte had been taken to the hospital.
Veracruz State:
(Screen Image. Beatriz, Becky and Marina, smiling. All have
excellent hair.)
Reporter:
“In Nuestra Señora del Mar, Sra. Beatriz Reverte has suffered
another health crisis. The waiting room at General Hospital was filled with
tension as Becky, Jose and Marina waited for news of Beatriz’ health. While at
first it appeared that Bea might not make it through the night, the doctor
delivered news that Bea was still living but she could not walk or talk. Much
later the doctor returned with the news that Beatriz was stable but was still
unable to walk or talk. She was allowed visitors and Marina was heard assuring
her Mother of her undying fidelity and love. Our in-room microphone overheard
Marina talking to her Mother. She will always take care of her Mom as Bea took
care of her when she was a child. Bea is glad of her daughter’s continued love
and devotion.

La Tempestad Capitulo 63, Wed 10/23/13 - To Bea or Not to Bea
The Uni snippers really did a number tonight. They left in way too much of Bea and Marina and kind of mixed up some of the other scenes. I hope this recap makes sense. Scenes left on the cutting room floor will be in BLUE.

Marina (who has been told Bea is sick in bed) sits with Bea who says she has something difficult to tell Marina. A secret she has held for many years. Something very important she has never told Marina but today she wants to tell her so she doesn’t take this secret to her tomb. Bea tells her daughter that she has always loved her and Marina has been everything to her. “Marina, you must know the truth about your provenance from my own mouth. I am your mother but not the woman who brought you into this world. You were put into my arms shortly after birth, but your real mother is another woman.” Marina says, now wait for it, “No puede ser!”

La Tempestad Cap #62. 10.22.13. Shall We Dance? Shall We Go To London? Yes To The Dance; Yes To London Oh Wait NeverMind I'm Staying With DamFine.
Cut Scenes In This Color
The Feds: Robles and Guerrero have made made advances in their investigations. Robles found out Pester is Ernie's widow. Robles sends Guerrero to do a Pester interrogation and find out all Pester knows about Ernie. Guerrero has been investigating Ursula's attempted rape. The only one who he spotted umm shall we say ass whooped is Nereo who gave his version. Guerrero set up a little date over at the station with Nereo and his "alibis".
It turns out Nereo's "alibis" are Dumb and Dumber aka Valdivia and Lara. Valdivia, Lara, and Nereo tell Guerrero they were playing dominos while chugging the booze. Lara was drunk and beat Nereo. This is all a lie of course.
Over at the local breakfast joint in the capital: DamYouLookOhSoFineEvenWhenEating is munching on an Egg McMuffin and some french fries. (Damn you Uni for cutting this scene) His DamMind is elsewhere. Claudio is with him and yapping to him about the crew needing to come to the capital. The crew needs to learn how ships are built. DamFab will call his crew and have them come ASAP. Claudio realizes DamFab is DamAbsent. DamAbsent can't forget his problems with Marina. At the mention of Marina, Claudio comments on Marina's beauty. He now understands why DamFab is soooo in luvvv with Miss Marina. For DamFab it is not all about the physical. He loves Marina because of how she makes him feel. Awww. DamFab mentions being pissed off at seeing Marina with Hernan. Claudio calls him out on his jealously and being back to his old habits. It is something DamFab can't prevent and has tried to control himself but things get complicated. DamFab is afraid of losing Marina. Claudio tries to convince DamFab to not let his anger cloud his reason.
Pester hires Consuelo, the seamstress, as Baby Michel's new nanny. Nanny Consuelo can begin tonight. Pester hands Baby Michel to Consuelo and tells her to take him over to her place. Pester has stuff to do and she'll come pick him up later.
