Qué Bonito Amor #111 (Mex 149) Tuesday 9/17/13 Hot Prison Love is the Best Love

Que Bonito Amor, QBA, 9-17-13, Cap 149—Hot Prison Love is the Best Love

Getting it on in the LA prison.

Hola everyone, I'm filling in tonight. RECAP IS DONE!!

(I always seem to recap the love scenes! LOL!)

BRIEF SUMMARY with screencaps.

We have a refrito with JAntos telling Maria to get lost, live her life, yadda yadda. She talks him out of that and says that no matter where they are, their love is "magic." They get busy with their conjugal visit, which I suspect has been edited by Univision (por supuesto).

"Hasta nunca" aka "Goodbye forever." But that doesn't last long!

Gratuitous Jorge Salinas shot. I make no apologies.

They seem so desolate. He won't relent. She reminds him of the good times and has brought her dad's sombrero. She accuses him of being Santos instead of Jorge Alfredo. That seems to break him down.

He gives in!

Orange Guiliano is skulking around the hospital, dressed as a doctor (with convenient mask) first hovering over Amalia, then Wendy, then Wendy's bebe. He looks threateningly at the little baby (very cute kid, I must say) and behind him appears a freaky-looking Dead Bruno, who whispers that "because of you, I am in Hell!" (I guess Hell has a barber, because didn't Dead Bruno get a shave?) Orange Guiliano is spooked but doesn't actually see anything. But he does some "No puede sers" over it.

Creepily hovering over Amalia.

Then he moves to creepily hover over Wendy.

Then it's Don Justo's turn to be creepily hovered over.

The tables are turned! Dead Bruno is now really creepily hovering over OJ.

Orange Guiliano senses Dead Bruno, but never actually sees him.

We have a glossy-fantasy love scene with JAntos and Maria. The conjugal visit room transforms itself into a beautiful bedroom with pretty lights, canopied bed. JAntos is in his mariachi outfit, as is Maria. Happy happy, bliss bliss.

The drab conjugal room is transformed!

They get busy.

Cue heavily edited love scene, thanks to Univision.

Later they engage in pillow talk between besos. She'll keep fighting for him, she says.

Amalia is in bad shape and is calling for her daughters. Susanito fetches them (but not Jalesquito) to visit Mom in the hospital. Amalia scares the living daylights out of the kids by saying, "If something bad happens to me, remember that I love you." Fortunately a nice doctor comes along then, reassuring them that Mom is going to be fine, and by the way we got some meds in for her.

Drama queen mom scares her poor kids.

JAntos's truck driver friend is bonding with Coloso as they drive along. Coloso is obviously jealous of the adoration and loyalty that JAntos earns from those who know him, but Truck Driver Friend says, hey, I've got room in my heart for many many friends!

Ana and Fernando want to adopt Jualesquito, but the crabby adoption lady doesn't think so. First it's because they're unmarried. Ana thinks that's easy to fix and Fernando is all in favor. They talk about all the kids they'll have (in addition to Jualesquito). But when the adoption lady comes to inspect the house, it's too small and crappy. She drags poor Jualesquito away to the orphanage with her, as he cries for his dad. Fernando tells Jualesquito that it'll just take a while to sort things out. Later in the orphanage Jualesquito cries that his dad lied to him.

They can solve their single parenthood status pretty easily, she grins. He's all in favor.

Mean adoption lady drags poor Jalequito away. Look at Fernando's expression here.

More tears and heartache as the kid is dragged away. Doesn't the adoption lady have any heart at all?

They are bummed by Jalisquito being taken away. Ana encourages Fernando to fight.

Don Justo is looking lovingly at his grandbebe in the hospital incubator as Orange Guiliano hovers threateningly behind him.

Ira has taken a job as a cleaning lady at the hospital. She bumps into (literally) Susanito there. Impactado looks for both of them. They are able to talk and Ira confronts Susanito with the thing about his kiss with Mirna. She thinks that he tried to dump her, using the "can't have kids" excuse, because he would rather be with Mirna.

Bumping into a cleaning lady. Oh wait. It's his wife!

And his wife is going to chew him out but good!

The evil duo, Elvira and Don Ruben, plot the downfall of the bar. Elvira found some money in the safe that Susanito hadn't put in the bank yet. She steals it to hasten the bar's failure.

JAntos and Maria say their farewells as time's up for the conjugal visit. They'll see each other in a few days.

The guard tells them that time's up. Oops, there goes the fantasy canopy bed! They're back in the drab prison room.

Kissing as the prison guard creepily hovers and looks through the door window.

Justo comforts Wendy, who is worried about whether her bebe will survive.

JAntos tells Michael that he got to see Maria. He sings her praises but they're worried because Maria is alone in L.A. and Orange Guiliano is around too.

Back in his cell, he tells Michael about how much he owes Maria and also the risks she faces with OJ somewhere around L.A.

Maria hovers outside the prison and sings.

And somehow, JAntos manages to hear her!

Orange Guiliano finds out that Maria is in L.A. and is visiting JAntos. This puts him into rage mode. No way will JAntos be happy with his Bonita! He calls someone and says he wants JAntos's trial date hastened.

Maria wanders outside of the prison and sings a song, hoping that JAntos can hear her. Of course he can (por favor!) and he sings back. And she hears him too! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Whatever.

A split screen shows them both singing and we end the episode.

END OF EPISODE!!

AVANCES: They say it's "Capitulos Finales" and it looks like JAntos has only a few days before he's tried (?). Maria yells to JAntos through the prison gates that she loves him. OJ has bad plans for her as he loads his gun.

Can't wait, Elvira!

Except that any Seinfeld fan knows that Prison Sex can't beat Fugitive Sex!

To a point raised yesterday about whether Santos has a lawyer, that must be whom Justo has been talking to on the phone that we haven't heard the other half of the conversation. No way would this man leave his son out in the cold even if he's not sharing the progress (or lack of it) with him.

Why the writers chose not to share it with us is another question.

“Ana and Fernando want to adopt Jualesquito, but the SUPER BITCHY adoption lady doesn't think so.”

Fixed that for ya. :) Sheesh. Who knew that Mexico has so many parents wanting to adopt extremely obnoxious 10 year olds that they can be so picky about who they allow to adopt them. I tend to think the line to live with little Jal on a permanent basis is pretty darn short. I did, however, feel sorry for him when the SBAL hauled him off AND I thought he did a fine job of acting in that scene. And if that doesn’t prove that I have a heart and am not a robot, I don’t know what does.

Thanks, Elvira. Looking forward to the screen caps.

I too thought it was insane to drag Jalisquito off when someone wanted to adopt him. And yeah the place may be small but it is clean and neat as a pin and probably light years better then letting the kid live on the street. Heart rending scene.

I laughed again during the refrito when JAntos and Maria are talking you can clearly hear a phone ringing in the background.

News flash to the writers — some second rate orange faced thug doesn't have the pull to get a trial moved up. Maybe in Mexico but not in the US. Just another stupid plot device that irritates the bejeezus out of me.

Loved watching irasema stand up for herself and the stunned looked on Susanito's face. He never knew she saw the advance of Spider Woman and he's going to have one heck of a time explaining himself both to her and to an equally angry Mancia.

So Burno's ghost although not played by Sergio came back to haunt his killer and keep him from hurting that adorable all though very big baby. Looks like OJ has started going over the edge and that big anvil should be about ready to fall.

I keep thinking that a lot of the scenes we've been seeing lately were added and shot out of sequence when Jorge had his accident. His scenes were then shot and added in. It really upsets the rhythm of the story and the scenes are often too short for what they are meant to convey.

If I hear my ninas, mi chiquita and mi bonita one more time I think my head is going to explode. I'm going to start keeping score from now to the end to see how many times more they can add those annoying, to me at any rate, phrases. I do have to say that for the most part they have avoided the no puede ser that runs wild through most novelas.

"News flash to the writers — some second rate orange faced thug who's not even an American citizen doesn't have the pull to get a trial moved up.

There. Fixed.

Bruno wasn't going to let OJ hurt his daughter but I wonder if Bruno is going to offer his protection services to Wendy as well?

I forgot that our orange faced second rate thug is a lawyer licensed to practice in California. He is probably an American citizen and if he is the lawyer of record for Santos he could request that the trial be moved forward. However since both Santos and Justo know that OJ is guilty I'm pretty darn sure that they long ago had OJ removed as Santos' lawyer if in fact he ever had been, and inserted a new one. Can you imagine how crazy it would be if OJ who is a serial killer standing up representing the man he framed.

About that conjugal visit - another colossal screw up by the writers

There are only 6 states that allow them, California being one. GOT THAT RIGHT There are strict rules. The visits take place on prison grounds in apartment style houses that are fully furnished with kitchens and TV's and one or two bedrooms. GOT THAT WRONG The visits last from a few hours to 72 hours and are usually on the weekend.

They only take place in minimum security prisons. The prisoner must have no record of disciplinary problems. Got that wrong Santos has been in solitary twice one for an escape attempt.

Visitors must undergo a background check and there must be proof that a legitimate marriage has taken place. Well, heck we know they got that wrong as well. I'm all for poetic license but this was ridiculous. However it did send me a research trip so I learned something from it. LOL

I have to believe that Justo has friends who are lawyers. It would make total sense for a man in his position.

Considering that the police should be aware that Giuliano is the prime suspect in the killings of Bruno and Arnold, there should be no way he could be the attorney of record for anyone let alone Santos.

The killings of Bruno and Arnold were obviously to prevent Giuliano's incrimination in the crime. Does nobody else see that beyond Justo and Santos?

Urban no body sees it especially the Derechos. However we bright viewers both know it and are waiting for the suitable punishment OJ has coming.

If it were up to me I would have him in Oz becoming the prag of all the groups he would have previously looked down on. He would quickly commit suicide and end up in hell.

Elvira, there is no need to even think about apologizing for gratuitous JS shots, at least as far as I'm concerned. :)

I know I am in the minority around here, but I am loving seeing him with his stubble. *fans self*
