Mentir Para Vivir #36 Tue 11/26/13 Either Man Up or Take Some Midol, Ricky!
Labels: mentir
I understand Ricky's frustration and anger over being dumped out of the blue like that, in front of Paloma. But it was really low of him to then lash out by accusing Ori of being after Paloma's money. He's smart enough to realize she broke up with him abruptly like that because Paloma was pushing the whole divorce and marriage thing, which is not possible in Ori's current situation. Ori shouldn't have blindsighted him, I'm glad she slapped him.
By the way, they really need to stop having these arguments out in the open. Mati was above them on the catwalk, but I don't think she heard all the Oriana/false Inez talk.
I wondered if Padre Plaid wasn't planning on grabbing that beer glass Sebas took a sip out of, to help with the DNA testing.
I can't believe that Raqui is going to go along with JL kidnapping Lina and trying to take her away.
I chuckled when the owner of JL's new mark was shown tucking his liqour bottle away in his desk before JL was ushered in. This is going to be like stealing candy from a baby.
Wow! you really do not care for Ric. Came through loud and clear. He is just a man in love and like Vivi said, blind sighted. Oriana hit him in the gut and he reacted. Who can blame him. I guess if they hadn't made love the night before, he would have picked up on her motive. Racq's desperation is such a turn off. Is she willing to throw her friend under the bus for the likes of JL? Her jealousy is revolting. Way to go Ruben! Escape from Alcatraz. Why was Madhilde trying to stop him? According to her, he is good for nothing.

I already do not care all that much for Ricky, but he really rubbed me the wrong way in his confrontation with Mariano. He felt obligated to tell him that he just had sex with Oriana and then challenge him about having lustful thoughts about Oriana? The man's his best friend and a priest besides for goodness sakes. Grow up.

Mucho gusto and so many happenings in this show again, I love it.
I have mixed feelings with the scene of Maria and Seba. I think because of Maria and her reaction. The girl had a very sad destiny. Perhaps I liked this scene part, because we, viewers, know that they are mother and child, but she doesn't.
Ruben's moving out from Aresti mansion would be good, but I felt that I'm sitting in a theatre, it was so theatrical for me. It seemed so artificial and staged. It was a serious moment, but it had funny elements that Maddy generated for me.
Seba has gone too far with Ricky's hit. I sometimes wonder on his aggressiveness.
And after Ricky's sentece to Oriana: no soy un tipo aggressivo :D :D I don't think so every moment, because we could see some heated moment from him. Oh, yes, like today in the courtyard. But today and I understand better than earlier. After Seba's slap, Ori with her senteces cuased slaps, that was worse than his "son" gave him. And he got another real slap (it was justifiable) from Ori because of his accusations.
What I liked the best: Ricky confronted his amigo priest with his ungodly feelings.
And Ori's behaviour with his husband in the restaurant, finally she didn't cry, she was smart, brave, mature and very credible, didn't afraid of JL.
How can Raquel think that JL and she can take Alina far away to live in happiness? It was irresponsible and immature answer to Lucina. She is totally opposite of Oriana. Why does she think that she means a lot to JL after a night?
I don't like Antonio's wardrobe. He always wears colourful, spotted, striped shirts, trousers and suits.
"half of the hospital staff have escorted Paloma home. Her yearly donations to the hospital must be amazing! In the courtyard, the servants kiss her a$$ and pretend to be thrilled that she is back."
Add me to the group that thinks Paloma is being a buttinski. She had no right to put Oriana on the spot in front of Ricky.
I too felt like Ricky was taking it out on Padre Plaid. So what, the Padre has a right to his secret fantasies. He has no intention of doing anything about it. Ricky was just rubbing salt in the wound. So far their relationship has been very one-sided, with the Padre always helping him.
Antonio was amusing describing what a rotten kid Sebas is. As if he would've been willing to take the DNA test if the kid had exemplary qualities. Yeah, right.
ITA Oriana was great with JL in the restaurant. Now why all of a sudden is he getting drunk. He should go back to the finger flaming cause that seemed to keep him calm.
Raquel's foolishness will make things end very badly for her (my guess). Clearly she doesn't understand that JL would dismiss her a NY minute.
Yes Paloma is butting in; unfortunately she thinks she's helping Oriana b/c Pal believes JL is just like Pal's horrid hubby.
I also thought that Padre Plaid talked Sebas into going for drinks with him so that he could take the glass for a DNA test.
I don't understand why Sebas thinks he will lose his name/family connections if the truth comes out. Ricky's parents adopted him, and he was registered as their son and with their family name. Doesn't that make it official and permanent regardless of DNA? I don't think Ricky would have any say in the matter even if he wanted to get rid of Sebastian.
I am liking Raquel less and less. Going after a creep like JL is bad enough, but would she really help him take Oriana's daughter away from her? That is way too far down the slippery slope.
However, Orinez was also juvenile. She should have just said, "butt out, Granny; I'll get divorced and/or remarried on my own schedule" instead of making up an excuse.
Alejo, Adriana, and other overseas Caraymates, tomorrow is the most celebrated holiday in the U.S. so most of us will be with family + friends, cooking, eating, and being merry in general. Although Uni is showing all the shows tomorrow (Telemundo is not), most of us likely won't get to watch or comment on a recap right away.
Enjoy the day everyone!
Happy Holiday Every American Caraymates! :)
Around the weekend (perhaps Friday - Tuesday)I wasn't near net connection too, because I am travelling home in my small small Smallville from the "Big" city.
Happy everything to everyone.
Yes, the turkey is usually the centerpiece dish, and all the other dishes vary from family to family-- based on your immigrant culture, individual family culture, and the region of the country you live in.
They just showed a menurkey (a turkey shaped menorah) on the news. Apparently it's a hot item this year, but considering that the two events won't coincide for 75,000 years, I'm not sure what a wise investment it is. :)
In my view, both Ricky and Orines were like children last night. They both need to sit down and take a deep breath.
Raquel just keeps going lower and lower. Pretty soon, she will find herself in a pit (of her own making). How delusional to think that JL will want to be with HER and Rhodalina?!
AlejoP, save travels home!!
I'm just glad that Uni will be showing the TNs tonight and tomorrow. It is must see TV!!!
