Mentir Para Vivir #22 Tue 11/5/13 Does Anyone Know Where We Can Find A Good Skank Around Here?
Oriana’s Boudoir: Lucina tells Oriana that Matilde put Cesar out. Lucina
wants to inform Paloma immediately, but Lucina stops her. They can tell Paloma in the morning and
besides, Cesar is staying at the Casa Bonita tonight. Ricky knocks on the door and humbly asks if
he’s interrupting them. His choice of sporting mustard pants and a purple shirt
clearly proves that he’s still depressed.
Lucina runs out and shoves Ricky
in the room. Oriana tells Ricky that
Matilde told Cesar to bounce after learning that he wants to be a missionary. Oriana thinks it’s better if she just
disappears. Ricky tells her that he
spoke to Paloma about the blackmail letter.
He confirmed that the letter threatened to reveal her past as a hooker. Ricky holds her and whispers that they will
get through this together, but she pulls away and says no. Her life is complicated. She’s wanted for smuggling in one country and
murder in another. Raquel doesn’t want
to involve him. She asks what they will
do if her husband is alive.
They move to
the living room where Ricky declares his love for her. He promises to forever support her and remain
by her side; that’s how he can help her.
Her booty and beauty has convinced him, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that
she could not have killed his father. Ricky,
blinded by his love for Oriana, believes that everyone else should love her
too. Paloma is a good and understanding
woman, he says. At most, she will kick
Oriana to the curb, if she finds out that she is not her granddaughter, but she
will not turn her in. And when she discovers that you (a wanted
murderer/smuggler), along you’re your mooching riffraff friends, deceived her
by impersonating her dead granddaughter and spending gobs of her inheritance
money, she will look at you through rose colored glasses just as I do. He caresses her face and pulls her close. He
tells her to get the gun from Lucina if it wasn’t thrown into the sea. He is there with her, he says. Their stolen embrace is interrupted by Berto
and Raquel. After Ricky leaves and
Oriana excuses herself, Raquel and Berto sit down for a chat. Berto tells
Raquel that Ricky and Oriana broke up.
Marilu told him. They both agree
that they are both only interested in Oriana and Ricky for their cash. They
make a deal to help each other out.
The Bar Bolo:
With his arms tightly crossed, Piero silently fumes at his friend’s
fashion choice for the evening. Unintentionally, Ricky’s yellow pants are acting
as skank repellants when recently divorced Piero is trolling for women. Ricky wants to know how the new friendship between
Piero and Berto is budding. Piero says
that he can’t pump Berto…for information and suggests that this may be a job
for a woman. Ricky thinks it’s a great
idea. Piero wants to know if he has any super
skanks in mind.
The Blue House: Blue Ricky has returned to his blue house and calls Oriana,
who is in bed. He tells her that he’s
revealed her true identity to Piero, his most trustworthy friend. Oriana can’t believe that Ricky has told
another person about her secret identity
and sits up in bed. Ricky thinks Raquel
is just the woman to pump Berto…for information. Oriana doesn’t think she’ll do it.
Raquel and Lucina’s Bedroom:
The next morning, Oriana asks Lucina if she’s still got the gun. Lucina wants to know why she wants it. Oriana tells Lucina that Ricky suspects that
Berto killed Gabriel. If they have the
gun, Lucina and Oriana’s fingerprints may still be on it. It will help to prove her innocence. Ricky also wants to see if Raquel will pump Berto…for
information. By experience, he knows that
she has the methods that will most likely leave Berto craving more. Lucina is afraid; she’s too pretty to go to
jail. Oriana begs Lucina to help her
convince Raquel to help and promises her that she won’t go to jail.
Lucina
returns to the Casa Bonita Hotel. Lucina
drags Raquel out to the pool and tells her that Ricky suspects that Berto
murdered Gabriel over money. Raquel
doesn’t believe it, but Lucina explains that if the divorce went through, he
and his sister, Lila, would be left homeless and penniless. Raquel does have standards! Who knew?
She doesn’t want to pump Berto…for information. Lucina mocks her and says that she is
surprised that Raquel has found someone that she won’t sleep with. This pisses
Raquel off. Lucina says that Raquel
hooking up with Berto may clear Oriana and them of the murder. Raquel points out that they have committed
another crime by assisting Oriana to impersonate Inez’. She also doesn’t’ want to jeopardize her life
by pumping Berto…for information. Besides,
he likes Oriana, not her. Raquel walks
off and tells Lucina to talk to the hand.
Paloma Bedroom:
In a ploy to become the sole heir of Paloma’s vast fortune, Rhodalina
puts on her cutest little smile and prances around in her new tap shoes for the
unsuspecting old mark. Today is her
swimming lesson and she wants Paloma to go to the class with her. Paloma isn’t feeling well and thinks that she
is getting too old to swim. Rhodalina
threatens to keep the old woman’s cane away from her until she agrees to teach
her to play cards and to increase the budget for the birthday party. I swear
that’s the truth. Rewind the tape.
Livingroom de Paloma: Cesar calls his father, Ruben, and tells him that Matilde
gave him the fat big boot from the house.
He stayed at the Casa Bonita last night.
Ruben says that Matilde had no
right to do it and tells Ruben that they will talk later. He hangs up when Matilde walks in the room
and immediately confronts her. He wants
Cesar to come back home. She threatens
that if Cesar comes back she’s leaving. Then get to steppin’, he says. Don’t let the door hit you. I
prefer him to you anyway. She says
that they live there, thanks to her.
Ruben says no, thanks to Paloma and marches into her room.
Paloma asks
if Matilde has lost her ever lovin’ mind.
Ruben says yes. Matilde is enraged that Cesar has quit a perfectly good
job that will support his freeloading family in order to be a selfless
missionary. Ruben has a bona fide
Chernobyl melt down! Cesar is a gosh darn, mickey fickey, hot diggity, damn grown man
who can make his own decisions! He says
that Matilde wants to control everyone’s lives.
Paloma tells them to calm down and asks where Cesar is. He’s staying at Lucina’s brothel, says
his mother. Paloma wants to speak to
him, but Matilde respectfully asks her butt out and not go against her on this. Paloma ignores her and tells Ruben to tell
Cesar to come see her. Matilde says that
picking missionary work over a lucrative position is crazy. Paloma says that it’s only crazy for
her. For Cesar, it’s a calling. Matilde slams the door.
Aresti Breton-Ricky’s Office: Oriana presents Ricky with the not smoking gun wrapped
in a black bandana! He locks it in his
desk. Oooh Good move, just in case someone needs to steal it later! Anyways, Ricky says that he will give the gun to Det. Lopez. He will tell him that the gun was found after
former owners vacated the El Descanso Eterno.
Det. Lopez might think that the gun was a planted or he might conclude
that Oriana and Rhoda Penmark were set up since the autopsy shows a bigger
caliber gun. He knows that the gun has
passed through a lot of hands, but hopefully, their fingerprints are still
visible. He asks what’s up with
Raquel. Oriana tells him that Lucina is
going to talk to Raquel, but she doesn’t think she’ll do it. If that’s the case, he says then they will
have to come up with another plan to pump Berto…for information. Lucina calls Oriana. Raquel said, hell no. Lucina and Oriana will meet later for lunch;
she has another idea.
Oriana tells
Ricky that Raquel said, no way. Ricky
offers to “talk” to Raquel. Oriana says
that the only way he can talk to Raquel alone is if he locks Little Ricky
Ricardo in his desk with the gun. Since
that’s impossible, she says that she will come up with another solution. Ricky looks disappointed because he really
would have liked to “talk” to Raquel.
Oriana’s Office:
Oriana cusses Marilu out for telling all her business about the letter. Who else did Marilu tell besides
Fedelia? Alberto, she says. Marilu apologizes. Oriana tells her to leave and don’t let it
happen again.
Blue Manor-Insane Asylum Wing:
Maria thanks Sebastian for the new doll and gets busy ripping the hair
out of its head. Sabastian wants to know
if she remembers the names of Ricky’s friends.
She’s not focusing, so he grabs her by the chin. She says that she wants to change the dolls
name from Alejandra to Piera. Sabastian
goes to the nurse and demands to know what the heck is wrong with his mother. The nurse says that her meds have kicked in; she
is Xanaxlandia. Great, he says! She’s on drugs
and she’s crazy! He sneaks into
Ricky’s house, but unfortunately, it’s not to steal those dreadful pants that
Ricky was wearing earlier. Instead, he
takes an old photo album and shows it to his mother. Did these men rape you? She recognizes Piero and Antonio and confirms
that they all had one wild threesome, all those years ago. Ya
should have been there! It was a great night! Sabastian looks sick.
Aresti Breton Conference Room:
Piero implies that Ricky shouldn’t trust Antonio with the Oriana
business. Someone please fill in this conversation. My CC went out!
Aresti Breton Lobby:
Berto greets Marilu and Ricky’s secretary. He wants them to buzz Oriana, but she is late
for her lunch with Lucy. She runs out of
her office and he invites her to lunch.
She can’t. She has another
appointment. He asks if Ricky is the
jealous type. She and Ricky broke up,
she says. They make a date for tomorrow.
Casa Bonita:
Rather than seeking a priest or a marriage counselor, Ruben confides in
Lucina, an unmarried woman, that he and Matilde are having severe marital
problems. It makes
perfect sense to seek out an attractive woman and tell her private things about
your wife. He doesn’t know if he
loves her anymore. She treats him and
his kids like crap. Once he lost his business, she became a royal b*tch. He only married her
because she was Paloma’s sole heir. Now
he’s sick of her. He regrets not
standing up for Cesar when she picked his college major. Lucina asks if he will divorce his wife. He’s not sure that he wants to give up his
lifestyle. He thanks her for listening
to him. She tells him that Cesar can
stay with them; he doesn’t have to worry about him. He grabs her hand and they nearly make out. Lucina pulls away and excuses herself for her
lunch with Oriana.
Church:
Mariano asks the bishop to find a good seminary for Cesar. Mariano doesn’t know if Cesar is serious
about the seminary or if he’s just trying to get away from his overbearing
mother.
Oriana and
Lucina are having a light lunch. Lucina
tells Oriana that Berto is not asexual.
He likes Oriana. She suggests
that Oriana bring those pink jeans out of retirement and pump Berto…for
information. Oriana says that she’s only
ever slept with Jose Luis and Ricardo.
Not just anyone can sleep at her hotel like some tramps that she knows. Realizing what she just said, Oriana quickly
apologizes. Lucina tells her that a real
mother would whip out those tight pink jeans for her daughter. If she’s
afraid of what Ricky would think, she should tell him what’s going on. Besides, it was Ricky’s idea. Oriana tells her that they broke up. Lucina basically tells her that men are
stupid. Flirt with him and tease
him. Make him think that he’s going to
get some. Oriana will think about
it.
Later that
night, after putting Rhodalina to bed, Oriana returns to her bedroom. Nadia, the maid, tells Oriana that Ricky is
waiting in the living room. Fabiola sees
Ricky and asks about Sebastian. She hasn’t
seen him since the party at his house.
Ricky asks Fabiola for Sebastian’s address. He lies and says that he lost it. Fabiola tells Ricky to tell his “brother” to
call her.
Oriana comes
out and asks Ricky why he’s there. Ricky’s
says that he there to beg. He will keep
showing up until she gives in. He’s lonely
and wants his booty woman back.
She tells him that she going on a date with Berto; she’s the one that
Berto likes, not Raquel. Ricky strongly
objects. He doesn’t want her hanging out
with that jerk. Yeah, it was his idea,
but that was when he thought Raquel was going to be the one to pump Berto…for
information. Now that Oriana is
involved, he doesn’t want no kinda pumping going on. He was wrong.
Oriana tells him that she’s going to pump Berto…for information whether
he likes it or not. Matter of fact, she’s
breaking out the pink jeans tomorrow. He
asks if he’s important to her. Yes, but
not as important as my daughter. She
says that she has to do it for her kid.
Ricky quickly back pedals. If Berto is as evil as she thinks, he won't give up anything. He will say nothing. Dammit, Ricky says that they’ll wait for the ransom instructions. Ricky leaves, but tells Jose to keep an eye
on things. If anything suspicious
happens, he should contact Ricky immediately.
Be on the look out for a letter.
Miss Paloma knows all about it.
Be discreet.
Bereniece,
the nurse, tells Celio that Sabastian snuck into the house, took the photo
album and then showed it to Maria. Later,
Celio repeats the information to Ricky. Celio
left the doors open when he ran to the grocery store.
Maria’s
Bedroom: The next morning, Ricky gives
Maria the thrill of her life and visits her bedroom. Unfortunately for her, he was just there to
pump her…for information. He wants to
know why Sabastian showed Maria the photos.
Who was in the photos? She lies
and says that they were pictures of Sabastian and his friends. She says that he also showed her pictures of
Piero and Antonio. He wants to know if
the secret is about Piero and Antonio.
She can’t tell him the secret because Sebastian will get mad. He promises not to get upset, but she says
that she has to ask Sebastian first. After
leaving the room, Ricardo grills Elvira and Bereniece. Do they know what the secret is? Ricky tells Celio that Sabastian is barred
from entering the house.
At the Church, Ricky tells Mariano that
Sabastian and Maria share a secret. Mariano
asks him if Maria was a slut when he raped her.
Was she a virgin? Do you know if
she was promiscuous? Ricky says that he
was so drunk that he doesn’t know how Little Ricky Ricardo was able to
function. Mariano tells him to get a
Deny Natal Accusations test because Sebastian may not be his son. That might be the secret between the two of

I think Orines loves Ricardo, but now not so strong as Ricardo her.
I don't like the Redheaded baby, bad gossip girl, I can't believe that the ex how can work with the new girl.
Seba stole the photo album, and I would like to steal the three monkeys from the blue house, I love these decorative objects.
On the one of the pictures the guy was not Ricardo, he was Ivan from La Fuerza. :D

I loved this scene, when Fabiola gives the adress of Sebastardo to Ricardo, and so believable moment, when Oriana said Ricardo, Alina is more important than you.

Thanks Cynderella, so funny as always. Your comments about Ric's clothes made me laugh, except on my screen, his shirt was blue and his pants were khaki. And there sure was a lot of pumping...for information going on.
What AlejoP said about the conversation is what I took from it too. Piero was warning Ric against hiring Antonio as Oriana's lawyer.
I will also LOL if Oriana does wear pink pants when she meets with Berto.

Work and life have kept me away from the blog the last few days. I'm just catching up on the recaps and hope to catch up on the shows. Cyn and Adriana- thank you SO much for the wonderful recaps this week!
I am pleasantly suprised Mariano has suggested a DNA test to Ricky. Woohoo!
I totally understand why Ori is rejecting Ricky right now, and why she told him her daughter comes before him. Damn straight. He needs to focus his energies on helping her out of this mess. Once she's more relaxed, then she'll be more willing/able to be in a relationship with him.
I'm glad Piero told Ricky not to trust Tony, but Ricky is going to be equally mad at both of them from keeping the Maria/Sebas secret these near 20 years. What would convince Ricky that Piero is any more trustworthy than Tony once he finds out the tuth?
