Por Siempre Mi Amor #55-2/19/14- Getting Clocked Has Nothing to do With Telling Time

Hi all,
Tonight's episode will be from memory, just the highlights and tomorrow there is no show due to the Premios.  I am subbing for Sara on Friday and I will include the deleted episodes with more detail.  Sorry for the inconsistency.  :-(  Please feel free to add in what I have omitted.
  • Ara tells Feo how she is defending him and he just loves her more and more each day (Barf).  She is almost where he wants her.
  • Art and Fab have a friendly, brotherly chat. Art wants to let his dad and Fab's mom clear up their mess.  Art wants to know more about Javier's character and explains the whole kit and kaboodle, including that Javier is his daughter's boo, to Fab. Art shares that there are too many coincidences with Javier and Fab agrees.
  •  Osvy tells Tita the truth about Katia but Tita feels deceived because Osvy played with the trust of his wife, while married.  Tita feels that he didn't take his vows seriously and what guarantee does she have that he won't do the same to her.  Osvy begs for another chance,
  • A morose Gaby returns to Mexico.  Bruno asks her to not let her experience with Nick turn her into a bitter woman.  (Bruno is waiting on the cusp, just as I thought)  Gaby has a good cry.
  • Sucia goes to Javier's.  (Hmm, she was supposed to be away on a trip. ) Ara tells Sucia that she is going to live with Javier and Sucia doesn't look too happy.  Ara shares that she and Javier saw Art and Isa at a restaurant and it ended badly. Sucia fills Ara's head with bull about Isa and not trusting her and that Isa would encourage Art to be against Ara too.  (Ara did try to defend Isa, but then she had a dumb look on her face, while listening to Sucia.) She just eats up everything that this witch tells her.
  • Daphne calls Este to see if he arrived safely and if he is thinking about her being in love with him.  He tells her that he is still thinking about Ara and he is not ready to reciprocate, she just ignores what he says and goes on and on.  He is starting to weaken.
  • Art and Ara talk on the phone and he tells her to come home and she tells him that she is not coming home, she is an adult.  Art has a meltdown, he feels helpless.  (Art- welcome to Parenting 101)
  • Osvy and Balthazar thinks that Ara is upstairs asleep, they discover that her things are gone.
  • Sucia and her BFF call Isa anonymously to let her know that Ara lives with Javier.  Sucia’s BFF is impressed that Sucia used a prepaid cell phone. Sucia has more tricks to teach her
  • Ally tries to teach Mari to walk in heels with a book on her head but it doesn’t work out.  She also teaches Mari the difference using the words feet and paws.
  •  The kids play with the dog, Don Porfirio and the gate is open and the dog runs away.  Poor little Pulga ran crying after him for blocks and blocks.  Borlas found her and gave her to Agatha so that he could get something for her to eat.  (Sure, Borlas.)  Mari calls Agatha and she is relieved that she has Pulga.  Borlas will bring her back to Mari, while he and Dante and Gonzo plan to rob Tita’s house because they overheard Pulga describe how big the house is.  Dan sees Borlas there, shares the story with Mari about his beat down and explains that why he didn’t say anything to anyone because Borlas threaten to harm Mari and the kids.  Mari doesn’t buy it, it's not the Borlas that she knows. (Really, Mari??)
  •  Tita goes out on her motorcycle to look for Pulga
  • Dan leaves Tita's and Borlas is waiting for him outside and they fight one on one. Borlas gets a well-deserved spanking from Dan.
  • Sucia makes it her business to “warn” Art and Isa about Javier and how Ara is living with him.  Isa figures out that Sucia was behind the anonymous call.  Art was annoyed that Isa didn’t share the news with him, but Sucia didn’t give her a chance.  Isa picked up that Sucia enjoyed watching Art and Isa anguish over Ara.
  • Art goes to Javier’s house to demand that Ara come home and clocks Javier, giving him a bloody nose.   Ara defends her man, they are in love, blah, blah, blah.  Art wants to drag Ara home but Isa is able to calm him down and they leave.
  • Daphne tells Ara to live her life, don't listen to her parents because they will try to bribe you to come or something to that affect.
  • Both Art and Isa have nightmares about Javier and Ara but Isa’s nightmares are more connected to Fernando.  She is unconsciously coming to terms that Javier is Feo.
  • Feo is snatching up Sucia trying to find out who snitched and asked Sucia if she is jealous of Ara.  He reminds her that they are partners and she comes back with, if we are partners then why did Rodolfo's wife have my picture? (Point, counterpoint)

Coming attractions:
  • Art tries to open Ara's eyes
  • Daphne spreads her venom on Este and lets him know that Ara lives with Javier
  • Ara asks Daphne about Este.

Wow. Sounds like it was an exciting episode. Thanks, TJ. I won't get to watch until this weekend, but I can't wait to see Feo get clocked. :)

Feo and Sucia have started to openly go against each other. How long before they start revealing each other's big secrets?

Borlas also returned Pulga (is that really this child's name?) to Tita's house and began casing it. He has fully gone over to the dark side.

This has gone to Mexican episode #72. When is the slicing and dicing going to stop?

Thanks, TJ.

Again, local ads cut into the programming and I missed Feo getting hit. Drat.

On last night:

I've got a BAD feeling that Gonzo, Borlas and Dante will rob Tita's house now that Borlas knows where Mari and the kids are living at.

When this TN ends, I expect huge anvils for Dante, Borlas and Gonzo in the end, won't be shocked if they end up in prison.

Thanks TJ, Aranza more frequently does have "a dumb look on her face"

Guess we will have to resort to Diablo and the Hell Hound taking each other out

Art & Dan - rockem sockem robots

Isabel - "The Interpretation of Dreams" Sigmund Freud, you can order on Amazon

Sonia - in case you are wondering that wasn't a lovers embrace

Fernando - hell hath no fury, buddy

Aranza - Adult? Ok, adult twit

Bruno the Clown - weasel your way in with Gabi but provide excellent counsel to Art, incongruent.

The Duck - persistent duck aren't we

Osvi - she got boundaries dude

Mari - make a duchess outta you yet

Ally - maybe you can kill your husband and flee to Spain

Tassels - just stay down

Tablet Jefa, I just posted on yesterday's recap.

Your title was amazing! Perfect!

I enjoyed every word of your marvelous recap. Your insight and comments were spot on. "Art has a meltdown, he feels helpless. (Art- welcome to Parenting 101)" and "Both Art and Isa have nightmares about Javier and Ara but Isa’s nightmares are more connected to Fernando. She is unconsciously coming to terms that Javier is Feo" were a few of my favorites.

As so many of us have stated, Feo is repulsive. I keep starting at him and thinking "really?". It's not even a question of "not my type", he is heinous. I just can't believe Ara would be drawn to him in the slightest.

Art and Isa are really suffering! Isa should pay attention - her nightmares are indeed her reality.

Agree UA, Borlas has indeed stepped into the dark side and I have no hope for him, especially given the smirk he gave Daniel prior to exiting Tita's (and getting his well deserved smack down).

Thanks again.

Diana

Diana, Something also tells me that either Ally or one of Tita's servants will be killed off .

The conspiracy group is getting bigger here:
1. Feo
2. Sonia
3. Efrain
4. Gonzo
5. Borlas
6. Dante
7. Wilson the doorkeeper
8. Sonia's friend

Even Victor Newman of Y&R wouldn't be able to pull this off.

CD, you may well be onto something there!

The nefarious list is certainly growing. Groan...

Diana

Every mastermind villain needs a sleazebag to do support work or dirty work, and with novelas getting longer we can expect there to be more evil characters along with the good and the miscellaneous.

Thank you everybody for the compliments.
I didn't want two discussions in one week, because I didn't want to lose anyone.
CD- I didn't get a chance to comment about the Victor Newman but it was spot on and hilarious. I'm still laughing at it and it's days later. Borlas and the other two idiots are planning to rob the house.
UA- Borlas has become as repulsive as Feo. His naïveté is his enemy. It's sad because he needed someone like Mari to stand up for him and show him the difference between right and wrong. The kids have more sense than he does.
Yep- Vivi- these two snakes are going to do each other in. There is no honor among thieves. ;-)

THANKS TJ. You wrote that Bruno is
waiting in the cusp---well yes of course he is. Poor Ally, I like her, she's a good person. Does she have to loose?
TJ---You put down several great lines today. I liked it when you said that Ara just eats up everything that this witch tells her. The key word there is "witch"
Art-welcome to parenting 101 was another good one.

Don't we all like to see the bad guy/guys go down? I enjoyed the Borlas beat down last night. He doesn't do very well when it's not three against one. I must add though that it's too bad that he went over to the dark side, he used to be a good kid.

WOW!! Feo was playing rough last night with Sucia, he was putting the hurt on her. We are partners.
Yes but for how long?

Back to yesterday or maybe it was two days ago---remember the two pink outfits, jacks/shirts? worn by Ara and Feo.I forgot to mention that at the restaurant there were pink/hot pink tablecloths as well. Does someone over at Televisa like the color pink?

Vivi---Feo cot punched/clocked by Art but it wasn't much. It was only a jab---I mean it wasn't a big punch that knocked him halfway
across the room, just a quick jab that drew a small amount of blood.

Speaking of blood, has anyone wondered why the blood lately is dark almost black in color, shouldn't it be red? What happened
to ketchup?

Right conservative---there are going to be more than two anvils in this one. The list is growing.

Tofie---What can I say, your lists are beyond great. Yesterday it was Sonia--who wants to be a millionaire? And Ally--The Bruno dump truck is about to run you over. Today's list is beyond great as well. Do I dare mention them all? I don't want to be the one to make your head swell but you had so many good ones today---
Diablo and the Hell Hound--persistent duck--not a lovers embrace--Duchess Mari--and Tassels, just stay down.
the gringo

gringo - don't you worry bout me gittin the big head, my poop smells too

Tofie---You're so funny.

Susanlynn and Diana---You guys have commented on how terrible Feo's mannerism's are--He lowers
his bald head and looks out of the top of his eyes. To me, it's the perfect personification of evil, it's detestable.

No show tonight. I will miss it but some good music to take it's place [Premio Lo Nuestro] will help fill the void.
the gringo

I cannot believe that Art had to be talked into hiring an investigator to look into Javier's background! And by Bruno no less! Seriously, Art is just stupid. And why didn't Isa make the connection between her dream and reality? I like this show but I have to admit it's getting hard to take the criminal amount of stupid happening.

Sonia isn't going to take Feo's beat down without dishing out some punishment of her own. Does anyone else think Sonia's "friend" is going to take advantage of what she knows and try to doublecross Sonia?

If they keep editing this the US and Mexico will soon be on the same schedule. They are only about 20 episodes ahead of us now.

same thing with getting Aranza professional help when she was young, everybody was telling him and he wouldn't do a thing

Thanks, TJ.

When Art hit Favier, Favier's look said "I am going to kill you." I feel for Art. He may have made many mistakes, but he loves his daughter . I am looking forward to Favier and Sono getting squashed by their anvils.

I liked Borlas even though I got a little tired if him wearing the acid green teeshirt and pulling on the suspenders. It looks as if he is a goner.

I was surprised that since finding out that Meanie goes to a casino to gamble, nothing more has been done with this development. Mau and Andy haven't confronted Meanie yet, have they? Also, I wonder when they will discover that Meanie's bad knee is really OK.

I forgot to mention that we are in a new epoca- the opening scene changed. Everyone is more mature.
At this current rate of cutting we will catch up to Mexico in about 3 weeks. I wonder what's up with that?

Gobluefan- Mau and Andy might just be investigating, but it ended up on Uni's cutting room floor. Remember, we are missing half of the action each night.

TJ, this was a great recap. I, too, loved the line "Welcome to Parenting 101, Art."

I'm so upset that I can no longer watch any of the Uni tns online and recap since the subscriber- only switch. This tn is heating up and I so regret not being able to recap.

I'm watching old Televisa novelas on YouTube, Cuna de Lobos-a great noiry tn that is as good as every says it is--and now El Manantial--where the entire cast is amazing despite Adela Noriega's profuse crying, to get my daily dose of Spanish.

I didn't say Daphne was a gold digger.

Get down girl, go ahead get down.

I got home from work and saw Daphne's tongue down Esteban's throat.
