I am not sure if Univision heard us or not but this is only one episode.
I am cleaning it up and will post the recap shortly.

Thanks for the heavy lifting this week TJ. I noticed it wasn't as choppy last night but maybe Univision just threw us a bone.

ABrat - this whole move and Esteban hot flashes is about The Duck, nothing more

Esteban - watching you agonize over a capricious twit is heart wrenching but humiliating

Fernando - one step ahead is still ahead

Pablo "Tasseles" Noriega - not the sharpest crayon in the box and won't last a month

Sonia - Like A Virgin

Ileana - more eyeglasses that days of the week bet Lenscrafters loves you

Fab - like a lamb to slaughter

Vivi- thanks for clearing up the Sucia and Dan. I was thinking that Gil married Sucia's mother and already had Dan. Thanks again
 

Tablet jefa, wonderful title. As tofie noted, you have done more than your share this week and we are very appreciative.

Enjoy your wry wit and "It seems as if Javier is insecure regarding his younger, firmer, kinder son. (oops, I digress", "Lucha and Gabino wanted to know too, but they were dismissed only to eavesdrop at the door" and "Daphne is not happy that Ara returned home just as she was ready to wear Ara’s clothes that she had siphoned for herself" were my favorites along with your astute " Gifts work better than fits of jealousy".

I'm so disappointed in Gil. What a smug snob. There are so many disasters in process - Mari, Fab, Isa, Este and yes, even Ara...will anyone be able to thwart Feo and Sonia??

Glad Bruno is voicing his suspicions. Gaby has enough issues to deal with now. Feel we can't count on her to verbalize her always on point concerns.

The sad truth is that your "Fernando - one step ahead is still ahead" is all too true tofie. Something has to give here. Some hopeful comments from our characters but they need a break...

Thanks so much TJ for all the work you did this week recapping for us. While I'd love to think Uni heard us, I think we are getting close to the actual episodes being broadcast in Mexico.

Diana, I am also greatly disappointed in Gil. He's being a 1st class jerk and alienating his son.

CD, ITA about Dan telling off his dad. Gil is being a horrible, petty person and a bully trying to humiliate poor Mari. His anvil will be realizing he enabled a psycho killer.

I love Tita continually telling off Gil!!
 

Thanks TJ---This gringo really appreciates your extra effort, you've done a lot. I have said on more than one occasion that the Caray team is like family.
TJ---you commented on the bright colors. I couldn't help but notice them. Art Dad with a brown jacket, light blue shirt, yellow tie and orange pants. Isa with a very bright yellow skirt and a dark blue top. Even over at Ozzie's house, I noticed a light purple chair. I know that bright bold colors are more prominent in the Latin countries than they are here but the clothes especially have stood out lately. I have been wondering if this [bold colors] is a new clothes fashion?

TJ again---The snake slithers into the house. You are so right.
That was a great line. Another great line was--she is old fashioned [yeah, like an old fashioned ho'] And if those weren't enough, you had me laughing with you're Dafne as a chaperone line. That was great.

Tofie from yesterday---Your pro and con list for ABrat was hilarious. I've thought for some time now that Lliana would be a better catch for BonBon.
Today's list---Like a virgin was a laugh out loud line. I also liked--Tassles won't last a month
but your Lenscrafters loves Lliana was a roll on the floor laughing line if I ever saw one. Those glasses of hers OMG!

Yes, Fernando seems to stay one step ahead doesn't he? That's why I like novelas, they give the story line a chance to develop. Everything isn't over from start to finish in an hour.

Conservative---Aranza ends up pregnant? I have been thinking that also. Wouldn't that add a twist to the story?

IMBd Jade Fraser is listed as Lliana. I don't know which one is right or are they both right?

I'm with you guys and hope that Fernando gets his vasectomy reversed and does impregnate ABrat. She need to be constantly reminded what an irresponsible twit she is but even that won't work because Art and Isabel would raise the child anyway. Holiday's would be interesting though.

I made me sick how everyone was fawning over her at the table. In this twisted world her bad behavior is always rewarded.
 

Mexican style Campbell's Chicken Tortilla soup and corn tortillas for lunch on a chilly, rainy day. Now what can be better than that? Well maybe home made soup but I am not that enthusiastic and besides, I don't have all of the ingredients, so Campbell's will have to do. But---put that along with the Caray blog and you have a winner.

Thanks so much, TJ, for another great recap. I’m glad that it seems that they are back to single, unedited episodes. It might just be because they were in danger of catching up to the Mexico episodes. Someone mentioned the other day on the Mentir line that they may move this tn to the daytime. Keep looking out for any announcements about schedule changes.

Loved your line about Sonia being an old fashioned ho. LOL! So true. Poor Fab. She has him wrapped around her little finger. As Sonia said, Isa is likely too polite to mention to Fab that Sonia used to be obsessed with Art. But she’s not expecting to see Tita at the dinner, and Tita doesn’t hold her tongue or pull her punches.

Loved Tita telling Gil off at the hospital. He will end up alone and bitter if he doesn’t stop the bad attitude about Mari.

Loved Bruno and Art remaining skeptical about Sonia. Isa is too much of a romantic. She thinks love changes anyone and conquers all. She’ll learn the hard way.

Who else thinks that Efrain arranged for the real Javier del Castillo to be bumped off, just like he did with his boss Pablo? I hope somehow Burlas gets in trouble for using Pablo’s name since Art is digging around. There has to be something that Feo and Efrain have overlooked! I’m glad Art is more, not less, suspicious about “Javier” since he can’t find anything on the guy, not just bad stuff.

 

Vivi, Isabel is a hopeless romantic and why she fell so hard for Fernando's charm, flattery and flowers. She even doubts all the consequences Art is so animated about. Isabel also took the romantic line with ABrat and her new beau initially before she found out his age.

Maybe it hit the cutting room floor but Isabel hasn't told Art she went to visit Fernando to work out a deal to get ABrat home nor said anything when he pulled her close at the house. Why is she hiding this from Art?

Dropped was how Marcela knew ABrat was home (think that was the tidbit at the hospital) because Art said he didn't tell her.

I also thought Borlas may be the one busted using Pablos name.

Don Gils condescending elitist manner is not attractive but Art also has made comment about Esteban and his Princess. As a parent not sure I would be thrilled a son on the cusp of manhood and ready for university picked an uneducated, practically homeless, young girl from off the street, hid it from me and the relationship dumped in my lap.

Don Gil may take a step back, come to admire Tita and start giving her the sweeteye.
 

Tofie- I also get why Gil would not be pleased about his son dating an uneducated street girl. I know my parents wouldn't be pleased if I brought home a dude with less than a 12th grade education and who was inarticulate/only spoke street slang. I also think part of the reason Gil is acting out is because Dan failed the military academy physical exam (because he injured himself fighting with Borlas), and told him off about not wanting a military career. As Dan pointed out to Iliana, it was really bad timing to introduce Gil to Mari. So I really don't think it's all about Mari. It's about his relationship with Dan, and his expectations for him-- life and career.

Anyone else notice it was furry vest day? Gaby, Dafne, and Tita were all wearing fury vests.
 

I also like all the bold, bright colored clothing. I like to wear bold colors, and seeing these colors during a dreary winter is pleasing to the eye. The wardrobe folks on this tn also have a good eye for bold statement jewelry on the women. I love Iliana's fashion glasses. Reminds me of the big blue glasses I wore in high school. I loved them! The high school kids I work with now wear that "retro" style of glasses. So funny to see how fashions get recycled over and again.
 

It's about his relationship with Dan, and his expectations for him-- life and career. Yep

The bright colors I have no issue with and see it everyday here in Florida. What is odd is how they are putting some of them together in a business environment for the men. Country Club yes.

Ileana's glasses; I had wayfarer sunglasses like her prescription glasses in the 80's but didn't have the means to have a different style and color to match my outfit.

At least with this TN the wardrobe hasn't been much of a distraction (Susana would look good in a toe-sack)but Fernando's is off-putting (funky color suede elbow patches)but so is he and Borals and the suspenders, please buy a rope belt. I'm watching La Impostora on Telemundo and the wardrobe is horrid. Every night wonder what remnant the outfits will be made of.
 

Dan was so sweet putting cream on Mari's chicken pox. He and Este should meet and becoming besties, while Cris is sulking (he'll come around once he realizes that Este did him a favor).
 

Mixed colors---Tofie I agree. Country Club yes, for business, not so much.
Oscars tonight. Wouldn't it be nice to add a novela section? Just a thought.

Borlas with a fake identity, he's skating on thin ice.

Vivi, I would be extremely upset if this was banished to daytime. It's happened before - Gancho (switched to daytime AFTER 150 episodes had aired), CS '09, etc. It's bad enough many episodes were cut (and content revealed only due to our recappers diligent efforts). Let's hope that doesn't happen so we can continue to watch in peace.

tofie, I can say nothing positive about Feo or his ghastly wardrobe. 'nuff said.

Karen, yes, at least Tita is not letting Gil get away with freely displaying his rude disapproval of Mari. Educated or not, she is sweet and deserves polite courtesy, at a bare minimum.

gringo, I'm mulling over having some hot, fragrant soup myself tonight. While it won't ward off the cold or the impending snow, it will warm the bones and soothe the spirit, at least for a few minutes.

Diana..I am thinking about making a pot of ham, string bean, and potato soup. It is already snowing here, but we have been downgraded from 6 to 12 inches to 3 to 6. stay warm and safe.
