J - I've become so used to her clothing horrors I missed that completely.

So Rafa's dreams have come true, living in a posh apartment and bedding Raqhell. Of course it all comes with a boatload of strings attached but he is such a pig he won't care. Really hated his BSing his dear mother. One big anvil lining up for him.

So the skank returns to Sappy Ramon. Looks like she is one of those women who has to have a man at all times. She doesn't even let the sheets get cold. Unbelievable that she tells him she knows about her errors. Errors is losing the keys, dropping a tray o drinks but I don't put hopping in the sack with another guy as an "error."

Raqhell strikes again — her death count is up to at least two unless you make it three for the hapless victim of the Val accident and make that four for turning her sister's life into a living hell.

Poor Adriano has to be cruel to get through to Fernanda that there is no hope for her or anyone else. He is one woman man. Then Memo tries to make it up to him and dies too soon.

I'm going to take a wild guess yet again, that Eduardo is the missing son. It distinctly looked like he was going to say Eduardo not, Ramon, Rafa, Chris or Jorge. The only problem with that is why would Raq & Leo give the child away and then take him in later on. That is what really puzzles me.

Blancoria is now in deep doo doo. Memo is dead, the pushy Altamiras are setting up the funeral arrangements (that galled me big time), Eduardo is going to want his novia by his side at the service. She can't go with him as the barrio crowd and Snoopy would expect to see Blanca there but if she goes as herself the Impostora game will be over. What she needs to do immediately is tell Eduardo the truth and risk losing him. Her father deserves at least that from her.
 

I'm mad at Blanca, really mad. Vicki frolicking 24/7, making future plans, letting Sofie think she will have a mother, getting to stay in the posh cabin and still not tell Ed.

Chris isn't playing with Mariana's feelings she has none but he is playing with Catrina's.

Mariana and Rafa are really disgusting toying with a way to beak of Catrina and Chris and initially trying to use Sappy Ramon. I'm surprised they haven't tried to figure a way to set up a picture of Catrina in the sack with somebody else. Since Chris is such a tool he'd dump her so that Mariana could slither in and "console" him right to the altar.
 

Chris is so stupid he really believes Mariana loves him. If Mariana just leave it alone a bit Karina will slither over to Jorge on her own and Ramon then perhaps Ramon will get it.
 

Chris is stupid just like Raqhell constantly tells him. And you're right sooner or later the skank will cheat again freeing up the Sap for Catrina. Unfortunately for Mariana she doesn't have time to wait, Richie has her on a short leash and she only has a month to do her dirty work. I did love it when she told Rafa that Richie owned him. That idiot probably thinks Raqhell will get him out of any problems with the Mafiosi. That is one confrontation i'm looking forward to.

[But didn't she & Cris already have one roll in between the non-satiny sheets at Mariana's place, or was that a congreso interrumptus?]

Can someone tell me why *Two* phones got buried in the mud where Sofia was playing? I'm sure they had given Tuerto's phone to Jorge to return to him. Did Ed already go out and buy Sofia a cell phone of her own? I remember he promised to get her one.

Since all the changing alliances are getting me confused, I'll stick with pointing out the wardrobe department malfunctions.
1) Sad Sack Jorge has taken it upon himself to go to Tuerto's apt. to try to give him back his phone. He's dressed in a sky blue polo shirt [The neighbor girl who gives him the skinny on the missing Tuerto must be the director's niece]. 2)Then, a little later, we see Jorge listening outside Tita's restaurant to Karaoke-singing Karina in a loud black and white checked shirt. 3)After she's finished and sees him, she approaches Jorge, who is again wearing his blue polo shirt. Ay de mi.

Have we ever seen Simona with a computer? Maybe it was a long time ago, but what self-respecting teenager does e-mail when texting is the thing. I think the writers are living in the 20th Century, barely.

Excuse me, but why was the hospital contacting the Altamira household regarding Memo death? I thought the whole idea to move Memo somewhere else was so Raquel, etc. couldn't find him. Adriano was the contact of record. I know they also contacted him, but it seemed like the Altamiras were at the top of the list.

Last queja. I could never understand why Adriano would rent a house for Blanca that didn't have a door with a peephole or some glass. Now I know. It's so we would feel the tension as Blancoria answered the door and surprise, surprise, it's her beloved. [So, then, what's with all the French doors we see opening up onto the porch--the least they could have done was make one of them a front door.]

Decie Girl--I'm with you on the Eduardo=missing heir=why would Raquel want him around. She certainly wouldn't have known what an exceptional young man he would become by seeing him as a baby.

Yeah, I wonder, too, who Blancoria is going to go as to the funeral. If she *must* protect her identity, she has to go missing again. Ay de mi.
 

Anita--I know! I was thinking the same thing: Adriano was the one to move Memo to the new hospital so the Altamiras wouldn't know where to find him. Yet the hospital contacts, not his daughters or Adriano, but is employers, when Memo passes.

Also, add to Raqhell's body count the original nurse who saw Raqhell sniffing around Memo's room at the first hospital. Tuerto was ordered to get rid of her.

Maybe it was intended as irony, but when Raqhell was injecting poison in Memo's IV, it showed Blanca and Eduardo romping and kissing at the park; and when Memo was in his death throes, it cut to a passionate bedroom scene with the two lovebirds. Seemed a bit heartless to me.

They gave some lame excuse they couldn't get through to the family about Memo but to call the Altamira's was stupid or they believe we are stupid. It did lend itself to everyone in Acapulco knowing except the family.

No idea why Blanca has to continue the charade now other than for selfish reasons, help me here.

Yes, all Blanca felt was a little cold when he died but it passed. She is one piece of work but better land Ed.

Wonder why Raquel all snippy with Vicki when a pairing with Ed would save the company. But we know what she don't know that she ain't got a pot to pee in but another gutter snipe.
 

I thought the call to the Altamira's was odd as well. There was that little scene before when Blanca told the hospital not to let Adriano in, when she thought he brought on Memo's attack. Considering how imperious Raqhell is, I wouldn't be surprised if she went to the hospital and told them to notify her because Blanca was allegedly missing and her family had known the man for years. She would also have wanted to know everything that was happening to the man she was so busy trying to kill.

I think Eduardo did buy Sofia a phone after he gave Tuerto's back and told Jorge it was odd that Sofia had found it in Val's room. Jorge is still too much of a twit to think of screening through the phone. I guess the second phone was Blanca's so that is why she missed the call from Memo.

I like Adriano a lot but wonder why Blanca feels she has to keep up the charade. I can only guess it is just to avoid the possibility of losing Eduardo unless she really is afraid of what Raqhell is capable of.

Drat missed the Jorge shirt switch. i guess i was too busy looking at purses. Shades of the LFMB pencils.

Decie Girl--I think you answered my question as to why the Altamiras got the phone call. I do remember Blanca having Adriano banned--but wasn't he still footing the bill? That also answers question regarding the phones. There had to be a reason for Blanca to miss the call AND for her to be e-mailing Simona her phone number (land line????). Juarever (as Erik Elias used to say in PEAM) what's done is done. The Altamiras got the call and they get to plan the funeral.

It should be a fun funeral.

Okay so questions:
1. What explanation was given for Blanca's absence at funeral? Does everyone know she is "hiding" from the Altamiras?

2. I can't recall--what explanation was given to Blanca's family for her luxurious new home?

3. Why would't Blanca and Adriano ask the doctor for details about the poison? What kind? How administered? I think I'd want to know.

4. And finally, what's up with the phones? Sneaky little altar boy steals Tuerto's phone, abandoned on Padre's desk by Jorge. But meanwhile, didn't Victorianca's white phone (and another phone) get left on the riverbank by Sofia? Because last night, Blanca used that same white phone to look up Raqhell's phone number.

We can't be sure that when Sofia and company left the park that they didn't pick up all their stuff so that didn't bother me. It would have if they had left and then we got the shot. i think its only purpose was for Blanca to miss Memo's call. In a way I'm glad that the phone is out of the hands of the Altamiras. I'm guessing the priest will end up with it sooner or later and this time won't have the secrecy of the confessional to hide behind.

I don't think that was the actual funeral as much as it was a wake. I don't remember any priest being there. I don't think there was any explanation for Blanca not being there.

Rafa was a big surprise. He reacted so strongly to Memo's death, showed more emotion then he has about anything and it was real not faux. He said Memo was like a father to him and I am not putting money on the idea that he will turn out to be Memo's. He also didn't fall for Raqhell's explanation so if and when he discovers who his father is he will be the person on the inside that Adriano and Blanca can use to bring her down.

Mariana is too much. I loved the looks the skank was shooting her way in the church when Mariana was oh so sweetly chatting up the sap. I guess it takes one skank to recognize another.

I don't think Blanca and Adriano care what kind of poison it is just that it was not a natural death. It takes load of guilt off Adriano's shoulders even though Socorro and now Fernanda will wonder if he was responsible. Why did the padre give the torn letters to Socorro?Did he know about that infamy as well?

I didn't see any wardrobe dept. malfunctions last night, except that Mariana looked smashing in that white dress with the cut-out yoke. But did all this happen the same day? She's been wearing the white dress for two episodes. Did all this happen on the same day? Raq administers the poison, Adriano comes to visit Memo and he dies in mid-sentence, Ed/Vic & Sofie go on a picnic and play hide and seek, the three show up for dinner at the RackHaus, Sofie goes to bed, Ed & Vic spend the night together at her place, Adriano thinks he killed Memo and decides to stay a couple more days, Ed gets the call while he's in the shower, the autopsy was performed, the results are delivered to Ad & Blanca, the Altamira's make funeral arrangements, Memo's body gets to the church on time.

It's been a busy day for everyone. And Mariana shows up in church in white. Hopeful thinking perhaps?
 

J in OR--I think Blanca's new digs were to keep her hidden from the Altamira's. At first, she was supposed to be dead. Since it upset everybody so much, Blanca told Karina (or was it Simona) she was alive and they played telephone tree and soon everybody knew. Then someone went to see her so then everybody knew where she was living. It was no secret that during this period the barrio folks knew she was Adriano's daughter so there was mucho dinero por medio. They assumed either Adriano or she was paying for the new place. Simona was very resentful, but brightened up at the prospect of everybody moving to NYC where Adriano's main business was and where they would be safe from the Altamiras. There you have it in a nutshell--tee hee, it's just a nutshell game.

When she got to the new house Blanca called the skank who told Snoopy. Rafa got the address from Snoopy and took Raqhell there. Ed delivered Blanca there so he knew. So far as I know the rest of the barrio folk don't know where she is and I don't think Mariana does. Jorge knows because Ed invited him for breakfast and of course Sofia knows but she doesn't know she isn't supposed to say anything. It seems like a lot of people know.
 

Help me. Been racking my brain and cannot come up with a good reason to continue the charade other than Blanca doesn't want Ed to know. Yes Raquel will be butthurt she was made a fool of but just let Adriano whisk her out of town till things cool off.

Hell if Rafa is keeping the secret they are one and the same I bet Ed would.

I too am wondering what possible excuse Blanca has for continuing the charade except now, of course, she is out for revenge. But prior to Memo's death she basically abandoned Memo, Hugo and Simona to chase after Eduardo and impress Sophia, even after Adriano told her the "Imposter" assignment was over.

I don't think the charade continued because of Eduardo but because of Blanca's real concerns for Sofia's. In any event if she had returned to be Blanca of the Barrio we wouldn't have any story.

I've always wondered why Raqhell has such a hard on for Blanca, wanting to get rid of her when she has obviously never even seen her. Oh well it is a TN.

It beats me how Fernanda after that small conversation with some guy immediately realized that Adriano had nothing to do with Memo's death and that it was Raqhell. I hope she tells Socorro who is really beating herself up over what she did, probably under duress, years ago.

Oh please somebody ask the question what happened to Leticia. Where is Letty? Even Sofia who was so taken by the woman hasn't asked. I guess with all these people it is out of sight out of mind.

I want Valetty to pull herself together and find a way out of the hell where is so passively living. Adriano has to find out she is alive and not the ghost Fernanda thinks she is. Together with vengeful Blanca they have to find their child (Eduardo?).

I had to laugh at Chris the Dolt getting mildly upset at Sappy Ramon showing up to take pictures of what is certainly going to be a most interesting and dangerous, for Blanca, birthday party. Poor Eduardo is likely to find himself paying for his mother's behavior as blanca gets her hate on. For once she is really choosing family over love.

I can understand the old folks not mentioning Valetty but Eduardo and Jorge were concerned about her but I guess with their soon to be crappy love lives wondering about the servant's wacko daughter just doesn't hit on the caring scale.

It was weird that the little phone thief would suddenly have a behavioral change however he probably had more sense than Jorge and actually played with the phone and went through it.

Ramon, Hugo and don't forget envious Snoopy at the party. It is a good thing that Chris is the idiot his mother thinks or he might have really picked up on the two little kids saying Blanca's cabana, no my friend Victoria. I liked it when Raqhell gave Jorge the ultimatum - you'll not get a dime of the family money if you leave and he just looked at her picked up his bags and walked out. Showed more spine than I would have expected. I guess for some people enough really is enough.

Blanca and Snoopy were having a pretty serious talk but I didn't think she actually told her she was being Victoria to avenge Memo. Snoopy of course had to make a snide comment about the novia thing. I do wish Blanca would just tell the girl to chill and what she was doing. Snoopy is such a loose cannon I guess she just can't trust her enough.

If Vengeful Victoria really needs help from Raquemup in getting Eduardo to marry her asap, she should have been a little nicer to him when she greeted him. She dissed him by not at least giving him a peck on the lips--geesh, they *are* publicly novios now.

A sudden personality change in a 7 or 8 year old boy is somewhat unusual, unless the phone in his pocket is leaking electrons or he found an app for naked girls. Speaking of the phone, after all this time, wouldn't the battery have run down? Mine certainly doesn't last that long without a recharge.

So, we see clearly now that Victoria's desire for vengeance is a stronger motivator than taking care of Hugo (when she knows Simonkey doesn't want to do it). Problem: how to keep Hugo out of the hands of Child Welfare. Solution: Guilt trip Sad Sack Jorge to come back to the barrio--gratis..AND she'll pick up his expenses. Pretty poor deal for Jorge, if you ask me. At least she kills two birds with one stone because he's the only one of the Altamiras that knows her as Blanca--so put him back in the barrio that Blanca frequents.

Decie--Raq may be afraid that Memo told Blanca who the missing heir was--in addition to her relationship with Adriano. That's the only reason I can see that she would be so hard on her. She's never had a chance to talk to the real Blanca, so she may not want to take any chances.

Does Blancoria know that *Letty* was shipped off? She's the only one who *cared* about her. Who else besides Mel, Leo and Raq were witness to the ambulance taking her off. Surely Ed would have wanted a follow-up after saving her life.

The fire. That's another thing that just got dropped. The fire inspector told them it was intentional, started with gasoline. Where would poor unstable Val get ahold of a container of gasoline. Surely the Altamiras have a lawn service and don't keep extra gasoline in the garage, and do they even have a garage? And I still don't know *where* the fire was. These unknowns annoy me more than Mariana's eye make-up.

OTOH--I did LOL at the makeover Blanca got to turn herself into Victoria. Give me a break.

THE RAFA ENIGMA
So, Tita swears on all that's sacred (ironically, that's Rafa himself) that Memo is not his bio-daddy, however he was a stand in for Rafa and saw him as the son he never had...until Hugito came along.

Do we know if he is older than Blanca?

If Memo's flashback is true, then he's not the infant Memo is holding. Actually, we're pretty sure he is holding an infant Simonkey. Blanca would have been old enough to remember when the baby came into her life. (She might have have remembered if the child was in transit to somewhere else.) But Memo was pretty firm that this infant was her new sibling. So that baby stayed in the Memo household. We got took by a red herring.

Tita didn't tell Rafa NOR us who Rafa's baby-daddy actually is. Will we ever learn, is it important or just another red herring for us to chew on?

WARDROBE DEPT. MALFUNCTION
This was a minor slip, or could be explained logically, but here goes.

Victoria shows up at Sofia's birthday party in an incredibly inappropriate outfit for a child's afternoon birthday party. A see-through navy blue gauzy thing over what looked like navy blue bikini underwear. She was wearing some odd-looking black heels, apparently faddish.

Even Mariana has the good taste to wear slacks and a matching top, although white wouldn't have been my first choice for an outdoor kid party.

If you recall, Raquel wore an identical gown in a different color earlier in one of the episodes. I noticed because it was so suggestive on a woman her age in a family affair--I think someone was either coming to dinner or for a meeting at home. I must admit, it looked better on Raquevil than Victoria.

I can only guess that the wardrobe dept. got a good deal on the gowns from the couturier.

She was still wearing the dress when she fled the birthday party in tears because her father was dead...er, dying, and headed over to Adriano's. They have a chat and Blancoria convinces him to go along with the marriage thing to get inside the Altamira manse legitimately. Domingo shows her pictures of the new photoshopped Blanca.

From there we see her going directly to her barrio house and she arrives in a different, opaque, navy blue dress and some high-heeled sandals. The dress fits her better, better length, looks better on her.

Ok, so maybe she realized the gauzy thing was not appropriate for the barrio and stopped off to change at her hotel room.

Give me a break, please. She could have worn the nice navy blue dress and the shoes to the party, even though she left early.

Oh, Padre, Padre. Haven't you learned that out of the mouths of babes come great truths? How long before he finds the phone. My bet is he'll be just like Jorge and not look at it (ok, ok, the advances show otherwise, but still, it would be in his character to see it as a private device he shouldn't be fiddling with).

 

I have a pretty good idea where Blanca changes and it is in one of the VW bug taxis all over Mexico

The video of a Raquel confession will be very inconvenient for Padre and with his track record covering for the Altamiras will do so again. He keeps giving lectures to people about lying but he doesn't believe silence nor turning a blind eye applicable.

When I got the kick in the eye feeling with what came to be for me the awful PSMA I quit. I hated every single character and now they have apparently added new ones. At lest LI is sticking with the core group unless some new kid shows up as the missing son. SZ is eye candy and has lovely eyes like his mother and he is reserved in his acting which considering the incredible training he got is and yet isn't a surprise. I don't expect we will ever see him with red rimmed eyes and quivering lips like Rulli. LOL

I'm really feeling for Adriano. I know some people don't like him but I do. Consider that he was a poor boy from the barrio who had the chutzpah to fall in love with an Altamira. The Altamiras obviously humiliated him and drove him out of town. He is smart and makes a fortune, educates himself and return with one desire to humiliate them in return. At the big bash he accomplishes that and would have left town until told, cruelly, that he had a child. He looks for the child and then is presented with one which makes him happy only to be told yet again cruelly, that Blanca isn't his and in fact he has as son. Another vicious lie is used to tell him said son wants nothing to do with him. He is finally beaten down only to have a close friend reveal the infamous letters. Reading the letters he learns of Val's increasing pain and despair in the belief that he didn't want her or their child. Next he gets a call from the person who can tell him who his child is and oops said person is poisoned and dies in front of him before the name is revealed. Now the cherry on the top of his cake of misery another "friend" is setting him up to be accused of murder. His misery is approaching Shakespearean or operatic levels.

Hell certainly has no fury like women scorned. Valetty is being tortured by her own sister for the crime of being Adriano's beloved, Fernanda who I never cared for her is now hell bent on making him pay for not loving her.

The good Padre needs to spend some time in self flagellation for his crime in saying nothing in the past when an innocent girl was abused by her family and keeping his mouth shut under threat from Raqhell that there would be no funds for his orphanage if he said anything.

I most certainly hope that the good padre hides that phone and doesn't leave it where Raqhell's henchman can find it because sure as God made little green apples his life span is about to be cut short.

I can only wonder how Blanca will react to Fernanda's poison.

So the Governator already knows the police are investigating and pointing toward Adriano. That has to be one of the only times the Mexican police in a TN have ever investigated much less move so quickly. Guess at this rate they will take him out back and shoot him only to find they got the wrong person.

I believe he said they had a video. If that is true it should also show Raqhell going into the room and I guess they missed the torn letters which would have shown her fingerprints. Also she didn't tear up all the letters so they are in her possession hopefully for Blanca to find. However the video they have was obviously sent to them by Fernanda and was probably a video taken during the time Adriano had the room under surveillance.
 

Wait--que? Adriano goes to Raqhell and tells her she is under suspicion for Memo's murder--it sounded like he reported his suspicions to the police himself. So then Fernanda rats him out to the police? Darn! She did make veiled threats when he told her he wasn't interested in a relationship. I do feel pain for Adriano.

Rafa's character is also now becoming more interesting and complex. Is he the only one outside of Adriano's camp who knows Blanca and Victoria are the same person?

I don't think he called the police as much as taking what he and Blanca believe and is the truth and throwing in her face to taunt her. She than hustled off to the police to try and find out if it was true only to be told that Adriano was under suspicion. Knowing her she will be sure to plant as much poison as she can.

Fernanda is out for blood and could align herself with Raqhell.

Blanca was with Adriano when the autopsy guy told them about the poison and saw his reaction, so I'm hoping she tells Fernanda she is full of it and doesn't believe a word of her dirty little lies. Then again it is a TN.

Yep Rafa is the only one outside of the Adriano camp who knows the truth about Blancoria. He originally planned to use it against her but now that he is sure that Raqhell is behind Memo'a death he is more likely to become her ally and he did show the evil one the doctored picture. His problem is that he is also Richie's bitch so he is going to have to be very careful.

I find it a bit odd that apparently Rafa has thought he was Memo's and yet was still playing around with Snoopy who would be his half sister.
 

It just crossed my mind that i though Blanca was very clever in saying that her "father" peter was dying of cancer. if the wedding she is now pushing for that gets him out of having to appear or for that matter every be seen again (provided Domingo keeps out of sight)>

However Eduardo did make a calling asking to talk to Peter so who knows what can happen as a result of that.

We are getting to that part of the TN where we have a long list of questions that need answers.

Boy, is Eduardo in for a surprise. There either is no such big investor in NYC named Peter Sanmarino or the guy with the same name isn't the one Ed met.

Hmmm, which would I rather have it be. I think it would be more fun for Ed to go and find a hale and hearty Peter who doesn't look like Domingo and Ed has a chance to sightsee for a couple of days before he goes home to confront Victoria.

No big surprise the Padre is stupid enough to tell Raqhell where he got the evidence. Moron. He saw the video and had to know how dangerous she was but no. At least he had the sense to call Adriano and ask for help which arrived just in time.

Tita is an idiot — she sees Adriano helping hears the padre tell her she's off base but goes on believing the worst. She is a total waste of a character as far as i'm concerned.

For the love of God Victoria drop that ghastly big bag. All dressed up, although the skirt was too short, in sexy black lace and carrying a suitcase sized, cheap purse. You'd think at least Socorro would tell her to carry something dainty.

Looks like Mariana's poison has worked on Sofia. The poor little mite is going to get an almighty shook one of these days when she finds out her mother doesn't give a rat's behind about her.

So the pea of evidence makes another move from one very smart little boy to Hugo. I can only hope he follows Pepe's instructions and hides it in a safe place where Snoopy won't find it. Pepe is clever enough to take the chip in the first place and also smart enough to recognize how dangerous Raqhell is, something most of the adults are still clueless about, or are too busy denying the possibility.

Chris is a total dog in the manger. He's been sniffing after Mariana and yet when she plants the flimsiest idea that Catrina might be interested in the Sap has the nerve to get jealous. I find it really telling that when Mariana asks him point blank if he loves the girl he says nothing. He's just a male skank version of Katrina, both of them hanging on to someone they don't really want.

So we now have yet another impostor. Love it - Blanca as Victoria, Rafa as Mariana's cousin, Domingo as Peter, and now unnamed girl as Blanca. Jorge of course was one and has been outed and technically Val as Letty is yet another that only Leo, Mel, Raq and Viewerville know about.
 

So Pedrito saves the evidence and Padre lives to pray another day. It couldn't have been lamer, but I was so sure until the last moment that Raq was the one who retreated from the battlefield victorious in that skirmish. They got me.

WARDROBE DEPT. MALFUNCTION
Thanks for the visual, tofie--"Vicki - it's a dinner at your future mother-in-laws not a photo op on the red carpet" and Decie for ragging on the suitcase sized cheap looking bag.

Where did the wardrobe department get its sense of fashion? If they were going to dress her like number 1 of the 10 worst dressed TVyNovela stars on the 2013, then the purse was appropriate. If that was not their purpose, she *does* have that nice cream colored dainty shoulder bag she could have switched to. OR, maybe they couldn't find it before the director called Accion.

Mariana never ceases to amaze me. How on earth did she pull off that bait and switch (the phones AND the boys) and was confident that it would work. Timing was everything. I hate her, but love watching her plan her next move. Marks of an excellent villain.

The video the police and governor have is only the hospital video, so it's just the hallway outside Memo's door. The fact that Addie hid his face from the doctor & staff is what is going to convict him. It's possible the popo didn't look at or have the video from 15 min. before. It's not clear that Fernanda set them onto Addie. It could be that the investigation into a poisoning is in the hands of the police.

So Jorge needs a job. He was circling a lot of openings. Remind me, what is he good for? Oh, I know. He can go to the public park or sit outside of the cathedral and do cartoon caricatures of people willing to pay him a few pesos. His other obvious attributes could lead him to modeling for art classes or commercials.

It will be interesting to see how the new Blanca and Eduardo get along. I think Eduardo is in for a bit of soul searching. He remembers that kiss. I wonder if Victoria will feel celos rising if she sees Eduardo spending time with Blanca. I wonder if the new Blanca will slip up on some of the romantic conversation that took place on NYE.

I'm still amazed by the picture of robust health that Domingo portrayed. The least they could have done was put him in ill-fitting suits to make it look as though he had lost weight--and shaved his head, due to the chemo. Ah, tns, don't we just love the reality of it all. I guess I'm just jaded at this point.

Decie--love your Imposter's imposter list. It's growing.

I feel for Catalina. She's the only character that has stayed true to her nature and will be devastated by the switcheroo. When she finds out she was hoodwinked, I hope she throws Cris to the curb--even though he's ostensibly a victim, too. She deserves someone better than the crop of young males we've seen so far. Too bad Diego is her brother. Too bad Richie is soo bad.



 

I doubt that Eduardo and Faux Blanca will ever cross paths. Her purpose is to draw Raqhell into going after her and thus getting something on the woman. Sofia has nice memories of Blanca as does Eduardo but they are for the most part happy with Victoria.

On the other hand I wonder how Adriano and Co are going to avoid having Faux Blanca meet any of the barrio folks. Maybe she will just be set up in the cabana and Raqhell will go after her there.

I too thought that Domingo should have ben fitted out with something to make him look ill or to at least seem to be weaker. Blanca did say he was dying but Eduardo only told his mother that the man had cancer.

And many people dealing with cancer don't necessarily look really terrible until the end. Wish I didn't know that for a fact but since I lost two of my sisters, my mother, father grandmother and aunt to this curse I know what I'm saying.
 

It looked like to me there was already a little bit of a look on Vicki's face when she met the faux Blanca. Could just have been surprise and I thought Sofia made a comment to Mariana on the phone Vicki wasn't her bbf anymore. She was put out Vicki was a no show at the birthday party.

So when Vicki last saw Ed she gave him the cold shoulder and this time they needed to get a room.

I'm afraid Hugo won't be as careful with the data card and will tell someone he has it.

Forget all this impostor stuff, bumbling boobies and sad eyed hunks and put Pepe on the missing son. Bet he would find Val too.
 

Decie, really sorry to hear about all your family members who suffered from cancer. When the writers introduce a serious disease, one hopes they treat it with sensitivity and not just as a convenient "plot device".

Victoria's black lace dress was jaw-dropping, but who would want to parade around in that in front of their Papi AND their future mother-in-law? (Plus with the tasteless bag thrown in.)

Are you all lifting your glass every time Ramon says "I'm an orphan"? He mentioned it again last night when Chris asked him to tell about himself. Hmmm....

Okay why didn't Eduardo tell Sofia that Vic is the one who gave her the laptop, not Mariana? Mariana admitted her deception to Eduardo.

Anyone notice in the doctored family photo that the head of the new Blanca was waaaay bigger than Memo's head? She looked like a bobblehead doll.

It was a big head but maybe they just want to make sure everyone knows that is supposed to be Blanca.

Adriano is not very good with choosing women so wonder when the faux Blanca will turn on him or go rogue. I hope the faux Blanca becomes competition for Ed and Sofia's affection, Vicki goes back to NY, then the real Blanca has to convince them she should be Ed's squeeze and Sofia's mom not the big headed one. The final showdown will be a winner take all runway fashion show.

Ooh, she could make the moves on Eduardo, never thought of that, and Vic wouldn't be able to do a thing without blowing her own cover. I like the idea of a fashion showdown finale!!! I doubt that FB will make any moves on Eduardo or in fact even be introduced to him. Adriano is probably going to set her up in the cabana to draw Rachel out. Then again one never knows.

I was thinking that Blanca is really the only character whose wardrobe is off. I'm wondering if it supposed to be a sign that she isn't what she seems. Some of her clothes are ok but the accessories are off. Then again her mentors are primarily men, not from the upper class, who don't know how to have her dress. Anyway that's my Sunday thought.

Say what you will at least this story moves. We get something to chew over every episode as opposed to Pobres which is weeks in with barely any movement especially on the romance front. And here at least poor disinherited Jorge is actively looking for a job while in Pobres the newly poor just sit around and whine and leach off their hosts.

At the end of this one I want to see Adriano with Val and their son Eduardo, daughter in law Blanca and grandchild Sofia happy and on their way to New York while Raqhell rots in jail or a coffin or maybe even drugged up in an asylum, Leo and Chris working on the docks and Jorge off somewhere without the skank.
 

I just want a little more drama and a cat fight between FB and RB would suit me fine.

It doesn't make sense to dress Vicki like this and we all know the first giveaway she is not rich would be how she puts herself together. This girl is from NY where all you have to do is stumble and fall into a boutique and come out with better style. Now if they want her to look like some poor girl who just pulled things off the rack or borrowed a dress and purse from her friend, they got it right.

Oh, I checked the manicure of Cat and her nails are nice. Maybe it is the difference between the actresses? One put together the other thrown together.
 

Decie--It saddened me to hear how cancer has affected so many of your very close relatives. So far, in the older generation, we've only had two aunts and an uncle and that was so many years ago when treatment was not so successful. We've lost more to emphysema due to heavy smoking. Thank goodness no one in my generation or my son's or grandsons's age groups smoke.

Back to FB, RB, V and the fashion runway throwdown. Twice Raquel has complimented Victoria on her attire and how nice she looked. Both times she was dressed in that see-through number and the black see-enough number. Both times I gagged. Raquel has nice body-fitting, off-the-shoulder numbers that ooze couturier exclusivity. A rich NY, as you point out, Tofie, would know how to dress, even if she's a bit horsey and into jeans and polo shirts.

I have a feeling that Adriano picked FB off a Meet Singles in Your Area website. She could turn out to be an airhead or pure malice. One never knows.
 

I'm really hoping that FB plays just a minor part as the bait to get Raqhell. I absolutely hate it when some new character is introduced in a novela that we have no reason to think is important. That's another reason PSMA lost me (in addition to me having come to hate every character in the thing LOL).

The wardrobe thing remains a mystery. The barrio folk all dress appropriately for their status as do the Altamira's. Even Mariana seems to have better taste than Blancoria (or the dress bore). Perhaps the costume department hates the actress and is doing a not so subtle sabotage job on her. I'm still having nightmares over the bird poop number.
 

Even if the costume department hated Lisette couldn't she just bitch a bit or at least get her own nails done? I've been paying attention to a minor character, Catalina (Julieta Grajales) and she has all the details covered including french nails. Guess Julieta just pays more attention to grooming and presentation than Lisette and somebody needs to coach her how to walk in heels. Lisette not Vicki. Have you guys seen Lisette in other shows? Does she always look like a librarian in an escorts dress?

Anita, Adriano probably has a profile out there on Meet Singles and FB just came into his orbit and who cares she is probably shark bait anyway.
 

I wish we could see what is happening with Valentina. In addition to being drugged into a zombie state for 20 years she has also probably been depressed at the idea that Adriano didn't care about her or their baby. Now that she saw and heard him confronting Raqhell about the baby you'd think she would be finding a way to fight back and get the hell out of whatever hell they have her in now.

I'm also wondering if the "good" padre is aware of who "Letty" really is and if there was enough info on the tape to tell him. Somebody has to get the woman out of that place and let her play a more serious role in the story since basically she is the heart of whole thing.

DecieGirl, you are so right: Valentina is the pivotal character, the motivation for all the major plot threads, yet they treat her like a bit player. There could be so much suspense and drama with the unfolding of her story, both past and present...but the writers have not seen fit to take us there.
And to date she has not committed single wardrobe faux-pas!!!

I don't think the writers have forgotten Val since she is the locus of the story, the thing around which everything else flows. Technically Mariana and the Mafioso are just a side story.

I'm seeing all of what has gone on so far as Act One. In Act Two someone gets to Valetty and gets her out and back to normal. I'm thinking the padre who may only know her as Letty unless who she really is was made much clearer in the video than what we saw. He now knows that Adriano is not the villain that he and Memo had been led to be but another victim.

Val has to be the person that sets off the explosion that twists all the existing relations and sets off the search for her son.

In Act Three we would then get the destruction of R & L and the HEA for those who deserve it and punishment for those who have earned it. I'pd love to be writing this one. LOL
