Por Siempre Mi Amor #69- March 12, 2014- Where is Maury, When You Need Him?
I didn't want to put up a discussion post. The edited parts are in red. Univision, please put the scissors away!!!!
The bride and
groom sign the registry. Sucia's BFF
congratulates the semi happy couple. Isa and Art can't celebrate because they
have to get back to work. Art and Isa
look like they are both seasick.
Ara tells Ileana that Daphne wants to sleep
with Este. Ara is sure that it's going to happen. Ileana doesn't see that there
is any chemistry between them. Ileana doubts that Este wants to sleep with
Daphne.
Gonzo tells Borlas that he knows that Tita has
her motorcycle back. It was stored in the warehouse and now it’s gone. Gonzo
wants to plan something else with the nervous Borlas who wants out. He is using
the excuse that Gonzo doesn’t trust him.
Gonzo wants Borlas to take his “stuff” out of the apartment.
Dan is visiting Mari on her 18th
birthday so she is free to leave the orphanage.
Dan and Mari are worried about the kids. He shares that he and Borlas
tried to take the kids out of the orphanage. Mari was surprised that the guys
worked together.
Ally is at the orphanage when the social worker
tells her that she can’t adopt all five kids.
Dan explains to Mari, that he and Borlas worked
through their issues and Mari loves Dan even more for having a big heart. Dan
felt bad they couldn’t set the kids free.
The kids couldn’t climb over the fence because they could get hurt,
especially littlePulga.
The lawyer tells Mari that as soon as she
signs the paperwork she is free.
Ally doesn’t understand. She can only adopt one child.
Isa tells Gaby that Sucia and Fab got
married. They had a simple ceremony. Art
told Fab everything that Sucia did to them, including lying to Ara. Gaby thought that Sucia would have had a big
wedding and can’t believe Sucia’s luck.
She’s alone and Sucia has a good man.
Isa gives her a pep talk. When
she least expects it a good man will come, anyway she is having a baby, which
is the greatest gift a woman could ask for. Isa invites Gaby over to eat.
Bruno is glad that Art spoke to Fab and gave
him the dirt on Sucia. Bruno doesn’t
understand why a Fab married her anyway.
Ara invites Javier over to the house to eat
and unbeknownst to them Daphne invites Este over too. Daphne has something special for Este, it’s a
surprise. She made his favorite dessert,
flan; she got the recipe from his mom.
They kiss and Ileana watches.
Ileana chats with Este. He tells her that every day it gets better
between him and Daphne. He took Ileana’s
advice, when door closes another door opens.
Este has seen a part of Daphne that he didn’t know before and he is
falling for her. He is very grateful to
her. At first she was a rebound but she
is winning his heart with her attention to details.
The dumb detective gives his report; Javier
lives a boring, routinized life. He just went shopping and went out with his
girlfriend, Ara. Bruno asked if he had
friends, nothing, he’s a loner. Art thinks that he was wrong. Bruno suggests
that Javier be investigated for another week.
Bruno doesn’t believe that Javier is a saint.
Ileana reminds Este that Daphne isn’t such an
affectionate person and may drop you when she tires of you or the relationship doesn’t
work out.
Mari returns to Tita’s. Mari misses the kids as
does everyone else. Tita plans a
birthday dinner to cheer her up.
Bruno tries to reason with a devastated Ally. The laws don’t make sense. She doesn’t want
to adopt one child she wants the kit and caboodle. It’s hard to adopt just one, what about the
others.
Mari is not in the mood for a birthday dinner without the
kiddies. Tita has an idea. They are going to go and visit the kids.
Bruno is still trying to reason with Ally. She can’t choose only one. Ally tells Art about the adoption.
Gil goes to see Dan but he is not there.
The happy married couple is enjoying a bottle of champagne
and the BFF-Lucero has left. Fab is glad
that Lucero took lots of wedding pictures.
They leave tomorrow for their honeymoon and Lucero will be the substitute
teacher for Sucia. (When did I miss that Sucia was a teacher???)
Javier arrives for lunch with a bottle of wine and Art
apologizes to him for his behavior.
Javier hopes that one day Art will see how much he loves his baby
girl. (We are all waiting for that cold
day in hell, too) Gaby and Isa arrive
for lunch too. Gaby is silently sizing
up Javier, Mari, Dan and Tita go to the orphanage to see the kids. The kids have on clean shirts but still the
silly hats. It’s good to see Mari in a
full blouse too. The kids want to know
if Dan has another plan to get them out of the orphanage.
Here comes Daphne and Este.
Ara looks longingly at Este. Gaby
helps Javier get glasses.
Tita scolds Dan and tells him to be patient. The orphanage construction is almost final
and then the kids can leave there for good.
Javier hopes that Gaby likes the wine, it was hard to
get. Javier starts to flirt with Gaby. He compliments her eyes. He recognizes beauty. He is so gallant and now Gaby knows how he conquered
Ara. Javier is like a shark and Gaby is very uncomfortable.
The kids want to go back to Tita’s house. They have to behave. They ask for Ally. Gil calls Dan, he wants
to see him.
Art asks about Javier’s family. They live in an unnamed town in Spain. Questions were flying back and forth
especially because of the new addition to the family, Fab. Javier says that he was independent and he
left his traditional family and lived in Madrid for a bit and destiny brought
him to Mexico. He managed his money well
and lives off of a solvency that allows him to enjoy the good life. He tells Este that he will learn how to
manage his money in time. The ask about
an accent and Javier as an answer for that, he has lived in Mexico for awhile
and he even had a job as a reporter and
had to lose the Iberian accent. They asked
how did he get to work for Ole Sugar Daddy and he said that a friend recommended
him. Ara wanted to stop the questioning
but Art said that we want to get to know Javier a little more.
Cuca has to keep Sucia’s secret to herself. She prays for help.
Isa asks Este how has he been, he is working and
trying to make his own money. He shares
with everyone the update – his granny moved back to the hood.
Ileana is with Dan at a café and Dan doesn’t want
to talk to Gil. Ileana can see that Dan loves Mari and encourages Dan to go and
see him. Maybe his dad has changed his
mind. Maybe Gil doesn’t want to lose Dan
by opposing him. Ileana tells Dan in a
roundabout way about her friend Daphne.
Este misses his granny. And tells about his little
brother. Este is a model big
brother. Javier is listening to it all
and should feel like a jerk, but doesn’t.
Javier asks how did he get his job.
Este shares while Daphne chimes in.
Ara is disgusted with the conversation and Este and Isa make mental
notes of it.
Bruno tells Tita about the one child deal. Tita wants the orphanage finished ASAP.
Ileana tells Dan that- Ara is jealous of Este
having a girlfriend. Ara is still in
love with her ex. Dan compliments her on being a good friend and kisses her
hand. Ileana is a little offended. They are just friends. Ileana loves someone but can’t tell him.
Este has to go and Isa tells him never to change
and he is always welcome. Ara is
sick. Daphne has to walk Este to his
car, and Este calls Javier Sir. Javier
tells him to call him Javier, but the name Sir stays. Javier leaves and Ara walks him out.
Ally tells Mari only being able to adopt one child
and Tita says that the orphanage will be ready soon so that all of the kids can
be together. Osvy comes over to see
Tita. Ally cant chose just one child to
adopt. Tita suggests that they talk to
the kids and find out who want to go first.
Bruno announces Osvy.
GMeanie is back in the hood and Agatha knocks at the
door. Agatha tells her to put her garbage
in the proper place because she no longer lives in a luxury building where the garbage
is taken out for her. Agatha tells
GMeanie to have some dignity and humble herself; she is like everyone else who
lives in the hood. Agatha calls her a bug GMeanie slaps her and insults
her. GMeanie starts kicking the garbage
with her bad leg. It’s a miracle!!!
Gil continues to insult Dan about Mari. He tells Dan that it’s
not proper for him and Mari to live under the same roof with him. He tells Gil that they have lived together.
Agatha says that the miracle is the same as the gambling
money. GMeanie says that her grandson
gave her the money, but Agatha figures out that GMeanie has been deceiving her family
for years. How will she get by now?
Mari lived in the guest house. Dan will marry Mari when she
is of age and Gil’s head almost burst. Gil
doesn’t know Dan anymore. They will marry over his dead body.
Sucia goes to Javier’s and the detective is photographing
it all. Isa can’t believe Art’s behavior but Gaby isn’t convinced. He is not what he appears.
The detective asks the security guard about
Sucia. He finds out her name and that
she is going to see Javier. Finally!!!.
Javier is pithed that Sucia came to see him. She needs money and he doesn’t have
cash. He will give her money tonight.
They note that Ara is not as enthusiastic as she was before.

Borlas tells Agatha that he is taking the stuff
out of the apartment. He will find a job
and Agatha is happy. He wants to do
things right and he can count on Agatha.
Gaby shares with Isa that Javier was flirting with
her and if he was in love he wouldn’t dare.
Isa feels bad for Ara. Isa and
Gaby realize that he is a womanizer and Gaby will prove it.
Osvy has the DNA results.
He hasn’t opened them.
Gaby wants to intervene with Javier and when Art asks they
change the subject and talk about the orphanage. Gaby is going to seduce Javier in the name of
protecting Ara.
Cuca tells Gil to understand Dan and not fight with
her. She begs that Gil does not allow
Dan to marry Mari. Cuca trusts that Tita
won’t allow any hanky panky between Dan and Mari. Gil finds out that Cuca knew that Mari was
living under his roof. She betrayed his trust,
ignore his authority, Cuca stupidly tries to explain and Gil lets her know that
she is only a servant.
According to the DNA, Mari is not Sucia’s child. (Did Sucia
get to that test?) Padre Alberto’s suspicions
were not right. According to Tita- Dan
and Mari can have a relationship? Tita
is going to speak to Sucia alone about this delicate matter. She has to apologize.
Yes, Cuca is a servant but she is the only woman who has
supported him and was loyal to him all of these years. She has no reason to stay; now Gil is totally
alone. Gil messes up his chess
game. He has no one to play with now.
Javier meets Gonzo and gives him cash. If he is giving out money to maintain Sucia
and keep his secrets then, Gonzo needs money to keep Javier’s secret too. The detective is watching.
A tired Art comes home. He shares that Ally is depressed because she
can only adopt one. He didn’t want to
share that in front of Gaby. Isa thinks
that Art should tell Osvy that Fab got married to Sucia. Art said that it’s up
to Fab.
Tita goes to see Sucia.
She tells her that she has the results of the DNA (Sucia got to them
first) and that Mari is not her daughter.
Tita apologizes to Sucia. She will not tell anyone. Sucia will clarify things with Cuca. Sucia does have a secret to share with Tita.
Cuca is making arrangements to spend the night with a friend
(her comadre) and Gil overhears. She
realizes that she has lost the war, and Gil always wants to win, so adios.
She is going to tell him what she has kept hidden for
years. She didn’t agree with him
shipping Dan abroad to be educated instead of raising him. He took the easy way out. His pride gets in
the way. The padre said the same thing.
(Why didn’t she tell him about Sucia??)
Cuca left.
Dan goes to see Mari and tells her that he told
his father that he can’t keep on telling him what to do with his life. Mari felt
bad that he was arguing with his dad because of her.
Sucia lies that she was young, liked to hsng out, got pregnant and she lost
the baby. Her tears were on cue. She said that she was raped. She couldn’t tell anyone. She hid her pregnancy. Cuca didn’t have a clue. Sucia’s baby died, it was the same time that
Mari came. Tita asks Sucia to forgive
her. Sucia knows the pain of losing a
child and she is a victim. She can’t
tell Fab now, he would only pity her. Tita
and Sucia were crying.
Ileana tells Ara that Daphne and Este aren’t doing the nasty
just yet. Este confessed that at frist
he went out with Daphne to forget Ara but he is falling for Daphne.
Sucia is a new woman thanks to Fab. Tita tells her to look at her present and her
future. Fab is her second
opportunity. The old Sucia who caused so
much hurt to Ara and Isa no longer exists.
Sucia and Tita hug, the hug of death.
What they spoke about is between them and they hug again. Tita leaves, Sucia can count on her. Sucia will speak to Cuca. A bell is ringing,
Gonzo is there. She will come down. She easily convinced Tita and will get rid of
Cuca. Tita bumps into Gonzo as she leaves.
Daphne thanks Art for accepting Este as her
boyfriend and treating her like a daughter.
He is the best. Daphne thinks
that they will be together forever. Art
tells her to enjoy every day. She hugs
and kisses him; he is the best father in the world. Art looks uncomfortable.
Ileana tells Ara that men react differently than women. Cris left, so as not to see Daphne and Este
together. You, Ara, like it or not have
to act like nothing is going on. Isa comes
in and chats with Ara about Daphne and Este.
Sucia meets Gonzo downstairs.
Isa asks Ara if she still feels something for Este. Ara confesses that it bothers her. Isa says that she is jealous. Ara denies it.
Isa tells Ara that the first man that she has sex with isn’t necessarily the
love of her life.
Gonzo gives her the money from her lover. Sucia sees the detective and tells Gonzo that
he gives her the creeps. The detective
puts 2 and 2 together. Sucia wants Gonzo
to get rid of someone.
Coming attractions:
Daphne’s dreams about being Este’s first are Ara’s
nightmares. Will they get to do the
horizontal mambo or will they be interrupted?

Thank you all, I feel compelled to go against the Uni grain. There is so much that we are missing that will be vital at some point, so I filled in the blanks so that it all makes sense.
This was episodes 90 and 91- Mexico is up to episode 113.
Vivi- Sucia was just too calm when she spoke to Tita.
I like "Ojo alegre" too and hadn't heard it in awhile- literal -happy eye- roving eye, yep that's Javier. He can't help himself, he partially changed the external but never the internal. I hope that Gaby knows what she is doing because the baby theme doesn't seem to have a good track record on this show.

I wonder where we are headed with the bit about Ally only being allowed to adopt one child. Why? Is that really a rule in Mexico ? I think that Isa and Art will adopt one or more of the children. Perhaps Tita and Oz and Mari and Dan (or borlas) will adopt one or more.

He was trying to help the kids before he got involved with Gonzo. Maybe he just needs the support of a few good people. I am hoping to see him in a nice shirt and on a good path by the end of this novela.

Susanlynn- They did not show any DNA tampering. But Sonia's whole attitude, and her continued lies to Tita make it all suspicious. I don't think we can be sure. There just seems to be a lot more to the story of Sonia's pregnancy, the birth, and what happened to the baby, that we have not been shown yet. For now, we can just cross our fingers and hope that at least the part about Mari not being the unlucky baby is true, so that she and Dan won't have heartbreak and devastation later on.
TJ, thanks for the recap and especially for covering what we missed. Darn you Uni!! Not the way to become #1 with viewers.

Sara, from your post yesterday, yes Marcelo would have been a much better choice. The actor playing Feo has the attitude (slimy, icky, etc) but he's not smooth. His attempts at romance are amateurish. And like you, I can't see so many grown women falling for him whereas Marcelo...

I agree that Univision has a BIG problem with scissors. When they pick them up, they don't want to put them down. Why not go to Univision corporate and write a complaint? We should be letting them know how we feel, after all,
we're the fans. Let them know that we are not happy about loosing half of a good show and remind them [they may have forgotten] that they are not the only station that runs novelas.
We need to start writing in to get their attention and let them know how we feel.

Thank you Tablet for a great recap. And thanks to all recappers for keeping me up to date. I haven't been able to comment - busy with a seasonal volunteer job, three sick cats, oh and my job, but who cares about that last one. Tonight will be the first night this week I can watch, but thanks to recappers and commenters, I feel like I haven't missed a thing.

I meant to mention before, maybe Mari isn't Sucia's as I haven't seen TN writers go quite this far with incest or near incest. Not so much kissing and te amos before. Maybe Borlas is hers - which I had hoped until now that seems like he moving back to the good side. I sure hope so as I always kind of liked the big lug.

Yeah, at this point the writers have taken the Mari-Dan relationship too far along to turn back now. That would make the audience very angry, I think.
Poor Ileana. It must suck to play referee between Crazy Aranza and Even Crazier Dafne. Nice to see Gaby still doesn't like Favier even when she doesn't know it's Fernando. Have to admire her good judge of character. Favier is so stupid, does he really think he was gonna get in her pants? His girlfriend's step-mom's BFF? Idiot. Gaby don't do it!

"When did I miss that Sucia was a teacher???)", and "Javier hopes that one day Art will see how much he loves his baby girl. (We are all waiting for that cold day in hell, too)" were simply great.
Thrilled that the detective has finally seen sonething Fab doesn't want him to! About time! Will catch up on the comments tomorrow, had a 14 plus hour day. Ack.
