Here's my multi-liner zeroing in on Blanca. She's blanda, blanda. Her wistful looks when thinking about Hugo or Eduardo are exactly alike. Wake, up chica, one of them is supposed to be your lover and the other one an schoolage brother.

I'm glad we didn't have to see Raq'em-up Hippie naked. So, Ivan thinks he's GOT her. If he had done his homework, he'd know the whole Santamarino thing is con-game. Or, is there really a Peter S. in NY running a world-wide corporation.

Poor Jorge, caught in a pickle between a boob-and-nose jobber and a feckless fickle.
 

Wow--I was not expecting that! Ivan the terrible and Adriano are friends. It explains a lot with the conversation Ivan had with Raquell. Was not expecting that. What does that say for Adriano?

Learned a little, Adriano had a past tryst with Raquel and knows Ivan who terrorizes Mariana but still have to put up with the Ed and Vicki show and bumbling discovery of Letica's whereabouts.

Adriano - idiot, no one told you you don't sleep with crazy

Ed - spawn of Adriano & Raquel

Vicki - BORING

Karina - kissing booth opens in 10 minutes, just take a number and take a seat

Ramon - Right to move on but consider other options

Wow--when the old friendship between Adriano and Ivan became apparent, didn't know whether to think worse of Adriano or better of Ivan. I was thinking maybe Ivan not so bad (maybe he set up the fake shooting of Ritchie with blanks?), but then Ivan's later treatment of Mariana spoke for itself.

Is Chris for real, wanting to get his marriage back on track?

Karina is wanting most what she can't have, too bad it changes day to day.

The real Letitia in prison, does her mama Melania know?

Leonidas and Melania looked pretty cozy at the cafe...could Leon be the daddy of Letitia?

I knew Raq used to have a crush on Adriano, but did I miss something? Did they have a fling?

Adriano admitted to Ivan he and Raquel did have a fling of which he was not proud but loved Val. I don't know if the fling was prior or during the relationship with Val.

Melania should know her daughter is in prison because Fernanda found the all the information from back newspapers however anything is possible. I thought before the real Letica could be the daughter of Leo.

I actually felt sorry for Mariana, she was petrified of Ivan aside from the beating with fist and belt.


 

If Leonidas is the daddy of the real Letitia, does he know--or care--that she was framed by Raqel and sent to prison? Leon's Worst Father of the Year Award just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

What was that? It seems like the writers couldn't decide what they wanted to do so started way too many themes for one night. That was very strange hearing Adriano tell Raf that his Mom was alive and why wasn't he happy. If Valentina was his Mom he would not have seen her ever since Mom has been in put away for what seems her life, why would he be excited. ....Most bazaar, Blanca saving the day, like mighty mouse. Really?
 

What got me last night was...if Addie and Ivey are such good pals, why didn't Adriano ask Ivan to get Tuerto's video and neutralize Mariana a long time ago. I guess it's too late now. We'll have to suffer through more of Mexican telenovela justice system.

Why was I not surprised the writers have decided that poor little rich girl loves poor little poor boy but will she be willing to give up the good life for him.

Simona and Jorge's dilemma is totally irrelevant to this whole telenovela.

Valentina's imprisonment for 30-odd years is totally unbelievable. Leticia's, si, is believable. I wonder, too, if Raquel was making it up on the spot that Leticia is Leo's.

Please, some one help me. Either I missed the last few minutes of Tuesday's episode or the first few minutes of last night's. How did Blancoria figure out that the zombie creature sitting out in the fresh air was Valentina and got a picture of her. Raquel was hot on her tail, er, trail. Did Val herself tell her?

Blanca showed the photo she took on her phone to Socorro, who ID'd the woman as Valentina. (There was almost a hint of a happy sparkle in Blanca's eye.) I think she found the place Letitia/Val was being hidden away by following Raq there in her car. What I'm not sure is why Blanca was on Letitia's trail in the first place and what excuse she gave Eduardo for wanting to snoop around in "Letitia's" background. So Raq told Ed a partial truth...that "Letitita" is her sister, the product of an affair of Leonidas and Melania. I keep wondering just how much Melania knows.

Also, ITA that the Simona/Jorge plot is totally irrelevant. Whether they get married or not does not affect any part of the plot.

However I am looking forward to seeing Adriano try to find Valentina, who now looks like she is in the basement of a house--maybe the masion Altamira?

So much is wrong and lame with this TN. Blanca told dimbulb Ed that a key to her regaining her memory was somehow tied to Letica, she remembered her.

So we now have Leo and a love child by Melania. Leo lives with a monster daughter just because she caught him cheating decades ago on her mother who is dead and he still remains silent as two daughters languish. One in prison and one in a basement with a chemical lobotomy. Someone shoot this old fart please.

Ramon - you need to run like hell they are both crazy

Cat - and in less than 12 hrs

Rafa - wouldn't touch her now with a ten foot pole either

Ed - didn't look like you've done that before

Vicki - hostage negotiator

Raquel - Vicki up to something, you think

JinO--Thanks for the clarification. I remember now that Socorro was following Leonidas, thinking he would take her to Leticia. She wanted to quiz her about Val's whereabouts or anything she could remember about Val. Victoria took over after she showed Socorro the picture and talked her out of continuing to follow Leo.

Vic's reasoning for wanting to visit Leticia was so lame, I'm surprised anyone fell for it.

Tofie, you are so right about Mariana not needing a man to catch a bus outta town! Her performances for both Rafa and Cris were blue ribbon winners. She didn't look all that banged up anymore. If she'd been really black and blue, maybe they would have been more sympathetic.

Rafa can't leave his new bank account and Cris can't leave his old bank account.

Does Mariana even have a bank account anymore? She escaped with her life from Richie and set herself up in this fairly well-to-do neighborhood apartment, all equipped with the latest appliances, furniture, knickknacks, free-flowing booze and a closet full of stylish clothing*. Did he stake her while she worked to get the naviera or does she have some off-shore stash we don't know about.

* If she doesn't make it to the end, Blancoria should raid her closet.

That was the worst >I got the drop on you< performance ever. Blancoria just walks past the security guards and gets between Ed and Raq? And she forces Ed to let Adrian go because why? He's innocent--according to...her!
 

It was really stupid Vicki standing there with her back to a guy on the lam for murder with a knife to the neck of Ed's mother and letting Adriano go. The next morning everyone just having a pleasant breakfast. Ed didn't seem bothered much and Raquel gave only a little stink eye and a half hearted, I don't trust you. I know she can't throw too much a fit because Ivan said he wants Vicki involved in the business but come on.

I also wonder how the writers are going to convince me Blanca will be able to handle Ivan. He certainly is making moves already and would be able to squash Ed like a bug if he decides to protect her. Even with a gun it looked like he would hurt himself.

The whole Cat thing was silly too and I had hopes for her character. She gets unhappily married and cuts Chris off but make plans for a new house. They move out of the big house to work on the marriage but the first night she feigns sleep, catches Chris over at Mariana's again, watches her wedding video, jumps Chris's bones to finally consummate the marriage when he comes home, ask for a divorce the next morning and heads to Ramon's house to kiss and tell him she is in love. WTF
 

I'm still mystified...is the real Letitia the daughter of Leon?...
Also, since Raq forced herself on Adriano for a one-nighter, any chance one of the boys is actually another son of Adriano's?

Leon told Raquell that she shouldn't have told Eduardo that lie about having an affair with Malania...so who knows what Leon's part is in this.

Mariana actually loves someone? Her daughter no less? Seems out of character for her.

This Ivan friendship with Adriano doesn't make sense. Do the writers have a hidden agenda?

Jorge finds what looks like an old tape Fernanda made, I assume from when she was drugged and taken out of the airport. A bit strange to find it in the manner that he did.

I hope tomorrow's episode goes back to being slightly believable.
 

Wow, Ivan's reentry into Mariana's life has created a different woman, just wonder when the treat is gone will she snap back just like elastic.

April--yah, I wondered about that, how did Fernanda's tape get in such a weird location where probably nobody would ever find it...except a guy on a cleaning spree?

Since Leon scolded Raq about the lie she told about him being Letitia's father, maybe it IS a lie... Also, Raq keeps harping on about Leon loving Valentina more than her. Maybe Valentina is only Raq's half sister.

I did find myself feeling sorry for Mariana last night, all her talk about not allowing feelings in her life. And then admitting to herself that she does love her daughter.

How come a smart guy like Adriano didn't think of using a disguise--at least a wig. If it had been Valentina in the airport, who knows if she would have recognized him (if the last time she saw him he looked like the youngster in the flashback).

Oh, I can answer my own question. He thinks, or thought, he was too quick for everyone and if he believes Victoria is in disguise, then all he needed was a little extra pancake make-up.

Man, he KNEW the police were looking for him. He at least should have put on the dark glasses and beret again.

ITA about the hidden video. The writers must think we are susceptible to believing any old twist and turn.

I'll have to watch this til the end, but I'm having a hard time to keep from laughing while the actors are dead serious.

With great shame I have to admit I like Ivan best right now. Well, maybe not shame, sorrow that he's an evil arms traficante. He's so d*mned cute.
 

Anita, the only two I like now are Ivan and Mariana. The rest are just a hoot to watch.
 

I think Leonidas admitted to having a fling with Melania, but not to fathering Leticia.

That was Raquel's Hail-Mary pass to keep the truth about Valentina quiet.

Of note, for me, Ed has crossed into the spoiled entitled brat realm and I don't like the punk.

Since when is a taped statement from an unknown person (who witnessed nothing) any kind of proof in a murder?

Also, cop tells Adriano "when the judge sees you he will be the one to decide if you are guilty."
What? No trial by jury?

Also, who bets that the lousy attorney Rafa dug up for Adriano turns out to be a gem with a brilliant legal mind?

Also, just a thought: you're being charged with murder. Instead of calling in your own high-powered attorneys who work for your corporation, you sign on with an unknown, unproven defense attorney?

JinOR--About the Mexican justice system. We who live north of the border are always scratching our heads and rolling our eyes about the absence of trials by jury. We've discussed this ad nauseam in some of the Televisa nightly delights. Apparently trial by judge is the norm.

After all, why complicate the judicial process with such things as evidence, witnesses, investigations? It would only confuse a jury. The judge just looks at you and decides the case. Caso Cerrado in 15 min. NEXT!

As for Adriano accepting the help of someone Rafa supposedly hired, I think the producer or director has a "niece" he owes a favor to, so she gets some screen time.

Adriano says he has his whole legal team working on this, but humors Rafa. Of course, we know that Raq made him get the worst attorney in the business to sink him. She's already counting the $$$.

I guess it is also a Mexican thing to confiscate a condemned prisoner's estate. We have that going on in Lo Que La Vida... Over there, it goes to the State, not the named heir. And this is not a capital case they are dealing with, but it IS a crooked public official. Sigh.

Either way, it's a shake the head moment.

If it should go to Rafa, then Rafa has just had a target pinned to his back. As Val's "son" dying intestate, Raquel would be the next living relative, unless Valentina can prove she's alive.

Victoria is still declaring earnestly, that she would NEVER marry the son of her father's murderer. I guess if she feels that strongly about it, Ed will have to be Val's son, no? Otherwise we don't get a "happy" ending. (But somehow I just don't care anymore.)
 

Anita--oooh, I never thought about Rafa now being the next target. (Wondered why Raq kept saying "if Adriano goes to jail, you will be very wealthy".) Poor Rafa, he has turned out to be been an interesting character because of his greed vs conscience.
I have noticed in some TNs start making us feel empathy for the villains right before they kill them off.
When Adriano's new attorney showed up at the jail, for a moment I thought it was Fernanda with a new hairdo. That would have been a fun twist.

If Raquel is as ruthless as we have been led to believe, she would have no problem offing Rafa, or Massage Henchie doing the deed. She actually can't risk his "traiconar"ing her in the future. His playing the imposter son is a far greater pecado than Blanca's impostering.
