Thank you for a fabulous recap, Corazon for this sex filled episode.
The name- DanHairyChest is hilarious. When I look at him that is all that I can see.
I'm glad that Borlas snapped out of his thug life dreams although it was cut that Gonzo threatened him if he deceives him.
Boy is Daphne dillusional. Can I borrow your blouse because your ex liked when you wore it? Who does that? Why does Ara think that what goes around doesn't come around for She and Este. She dropped him like a hot potato for the old carrot that was dangled before her, but she realizes that the grass isn't greener on the other side.
So Bruno admits that he loves Ally but is not in love with her, interesting.
Poor Fab, that's all that I can say, such a nice guy!

Glad to see Borlas working with Dan to get Tita's moto back, and attempting to rescue the kids. I'm glad they failed in that plan because that would have gotten everyone in more trouble. Also glad Borlas is coming clean to Dan and Tita about what he did. Now, he just needs to tell Mari. It's nice of Tita to offer to help him get out of the thug life, but no way is Gonzo going to let him go easily.

Sonia knew just when to pull out the nuclear weapon-- SEX. It not only stopped Fab's question about her past, but got her a marriage proposal! Damn! She must be good.

To be fair to Art, he did what he could. He gave Fab all the facts he knows, and let Fab make his own decision because he's a grown man. Art and Isa's shocked faces when Fab actually went through with it were hilarious. Fab just signed his death warrant.
 

I had the *exact* same thought, Vivi. He seemed really hesitant, too. Poor Fabric (love that name.)

I'd like to see Gaby and Faby end up together. I don't see anything in Bruno .. I think Gaby's first impression of him were the right impressions. Bruno's wife (name?) deserves much better too. I guess I'm just not crazy about the actor playing Bruno. He was always good in the role of nice, but not too bright, farm hand; but he doesn't work in an educated, successful businessman role. Bruno's wife should divorce him, adopt the kids and go live happily ever after in Spain. She doesn't need these people.
 

I like the idea of Gaby being a sleuth(somehow I see her as more competent than the pathetic PI from a couple capitulos ago) but I hope she's really careful. Pregnant women don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to Favier and Sonia. Yikes!

Haha yeah Sonia must be amazing in the sack if she's still able to get a hold of Fabricio after Arturo told him what she's done.

Borlas and Dan in a big argument,
I thought that it was going to get physical again. What's going on there? Is Dan ready/going to stop pursuing Mari? Is it Borlas full speed ahead now? What will Mari say about that?

Did Borlas tell Tita that he was one of the robbers? If he did, he didn't seem to worried about it the way he was chowing down on that sandwich.

Vivi---You said Damn! She must be good. Well yes she probably is and she's got the beautiful eyes to augment her other charms. A sweet smile, some soft words, a little time in the sack---now tell me, what man could resist all of that?

Something that no one has mentioned yet. What is FeVer and the Duck going to do when Ara makes her move to get the BonBon back? My guess is that there's going to be hell to pay. Whatever happens, I don't think that getting back together will be easy.

Did Bruno give in to Ally's wishes? It looked like they both ended up on the same page.

You would think after the Padre got whacked, Tita and Cuca would keep quiet about Mari's bio mom, etc.,

 

What has happened to the English closed caption system for this show? It seriously lags behind the action on the screen. It used not to do this. All the other telenovelas from Univision don't show this lag.

It is pretty frustrating for us English-only viewers to try to follow the action on the screen only to see the translations about 30 seconds later.

How can I complain? I don't see anything on the Univision.com web site that will allow me to lodge a complaint.
 

CD- Well, since he died of "natural causes" there's no way they'd know that reminding Sonia about her long abandoned baby (Mari or not) is detrimental to their health.

Gringo- Dan did not make any promises to sty away from Mari. What he said to Borlas is that HE wouldn't tell Mari what Borlas did, but Borlas should be the one to tell her. Dan thinks he's too much of a coward to do it. Borlas did deny being one of the thieves to Tita. But she, in the nicest grandmotherly way possible, told him she's no fool and she knows. He eventually admitted it between giant bites of sandwich. That's when she offered to help get him on the right path. Mari is in the orphanage because she's still 17 and Tita lost rights to have any of the kids because she was illegally housing them. I also think Hector (Isa's amazing lawyer friend) worked some legal magic because the cops actually wanted to send Mari to a juvenile detention facility because they were trying to tie her to the trailer robberies. I believe because she admitted nothing, saying that she had no idea that the merchandise she was given to sell was stolen, and they had no other evidence linking her to the robberies, the cops had to let it go (for now).
 

thanks, Corazon. I love Tita. I hope that she can help Borlas get on the straight and narrow. She might be the first person who has ever reached out a hand to help him. I like the Teo of them firming a friendship. burkas needs a mama, and Tita is the eternal mama wanting to help everyone. Bless her.

Watching Sono reel fab into her web was disturbing. She us such a wheeler dealer. She has spent her whole life using and abusing others. Get ready , Sono, karma us coming for you.

Vivi, I don't know what Dan and Borlas were thinking about snatching the kids back. That would have been bad for all of them. Glad they didn't pull it off.

Sara & Vivi, I groaned when Fab signed. How soon before he has an accident? I really hope he doesn't die and if he lives long enough to find out how horrible his wife is that's going to be so sad.

Anon 12:01 pm, I think the writers have made Bruno a weak character and the actor is fulfilling that. Even Art isn't that great a galan.

Tofie, another great list. It's so consistent for Art's character that he hired one of the most inept PI's I've ever seen.

Cassandra G - yes Gabi needs to be careful with our two crazies running about.

CD - now that Sonia's married she may not have to kill anyone immediately. Though, I think Tita has a strong chance of surviving than Cuca.

Gobluefan from OH - the English captions for this show have been bad starting this week. I don't know what's up and forget who we need to contact when the CC's are crazy. I'll post a message for one of our bloggers.

Gringo - you are so right about Feo and the Duck not being willing to give up their partners. Someone could get hurt and I hope its not Bonbon.

Fab and Sonia make a cute couple. Too bad she's so evil. The anvil music was playing when Fab signed the marriage certificate. Hope that doesn't mean he's doomed. I think Fab and Nicholas are the best looking of the "older" men.

I don't believe that Dan and Borlas were thinking their plan through very well. Where did they expect to hide the kids? Borlas has demonstrated that he can't take care of them by himself. And wouldn't Dan know that Ally is trying to adopt them?

GoBlueFan and Karen: The Spanish captions were also lagging behind last night. Maybe it's because they've cut out bits of the episode and can't piece the tracks back together properly.
 

I thought it was a great scene when Fabric (finally) signed that certificate. It was heavy-handed, yes (we get it! He signed his death sentence!), but it was will filmed.
 

I am seriously angry at what's happening with this TN - the edits and the problems with the closed captions. Right out of the gate last night we get Borlas and Dan working together to get Tita's motorcycle back, but we didn't see how they worked out their differences. Did Dan find Borlas or vice-versa? So much we don't get to see...

Poor Fab. Ozvi and Art tried to warn him. If I were Art or Isa I would just say, "I cannot support what you are doing Fabricio." and just walk out the door. What Gabi felt finding out about Nicholas is going to be double for Fab. Sonia's got two bodies to her credit now and probably more to come...
 

I was just thinking about the edits this morning, xlnt!

I think the edits have hurt my interest in this show. I enjoyed watching the stories play out and getting to know characters. To me, all the choppy editing made each episode slower. I don't know how to explain it because you would think chopping each story to it's bare essence would speed things up, but I think what happened to me was that I just gave up. TNs aren't known for making a ton of sense to begin with. When you start slicing and dicing Viewerville is left scratching their heads. Ally's comment about not being able to have children or the dropped storyline about Este and Methuselah come to mind.
 

Art and Isa wouldn't walk out on Fab's "wedding" because Sonia has poor dumb naive Isa very well bamboozled. Isa has been trying to convince Arturo, Gaby and Aranza that Sonia has "truly changed." Isa and her lollipops and rainbows mentality can "see it in her eyes" how sincere Sonia is. Yeah, right!
 

Fab has served his usefulness to Sonia and all she has to do is make sure the paperwork is in order and Osvi die first. Guess she could make it on Raisins money, again. Wonder where they will live? Perhaps there is a listing in Arts neighborhood.

The Duck is not my favorite (though entertaining) and think Esteban can do much better. It makes me sick knowing he will run back to Aranaza when she finally lays a sob story on him. I prefer he stay with The Duck, at least The Duck believes Esteban is a prize. Esteban was nothing but an orbiter inflating Aranzas ego for years and she jumped at the first hot (used loosely) guy that gave her some attention. At that point Esteban was nothing more than a slight encumbrance she needed to remove. Yes, she said she didn't want to hurt him but without empathy she really couldn't relate. Even now it's all about her and how could he have moved on so quickly. Boohoo. She is the type that will do this again and again and again. Good luck to you Esteban you're in for a horrible ride.

Bruno you are such a coward and a worthless, weak tool. It astounds me because your mother totally the opposite and I hope she bends you over her knee and smacks you a good one when you dump Ally. Crybaby
 

Sara- I get why Uni's chop job would turn you off to the tn. I would really like to hear the thinking of the exec who thinks this is a good idea, and that this would please anybody in the viewing audience.

And another rant. I am just pithed about the casting for this one. Ok, just two roles.

The guy playing FaVier to me just sucks. S.U.C.K.S. He looks like he's a little tubby and they think vest, Easter egg shirts and elbow patch jackets are somehow "slimming." Not to mention he is stiff as hell and looks like he's in a high school play. There is no way he's good looking enough to have caught Isa or Ara. Marcelo Cordoba would have nailed this. Am I right?

Guy Ecker as Art. I like Guy, so maybe it's the character but I am just not diggin' it. For the life of me, though I can't think of anyone else.

Everyone else to me is perfect.

So, should Bruno stay with Ally, even though he isn't in love with her? Would that be best for Ally? Would that be best for the kids? If he stays with her, he's a coward. If he dumps her, he's a jerk. Where do you all stand on this? I'm seeing different answers.
 

Vivi, I think he should show some backbone and talk to Ally truthfully and leave. Better a jerk than a coward.

I've never like Bruno anyway and thought him a whimpering puppy from the start and astounded he was able to get someone like Ally. Ally is a big girl and believe she will be able to take care of herself.

What is sick is Gabi will take Bruno back after he dumps Ally. I get how she was tricked by Nick but I never thought she would be ok raising a manchild along with a baby.
 

It's not even good editing. When Dafne wanted to borrow the blouse it looked like Aranza came to the door and walked down the hall twice.

It's like they have written this TN off and put their unpaid interns on it to limp to the finish.
 

Tofie- It would be less annoying if the people making the tn had written it off and made it choppy. But it's UNI, who bought the complete product, who is slicing, dicing and making a mess of what they bought- then serving it to the US public. It makes no sense.
 

I agree with Tofie. Better a jerk than a coward. Ally deserves to be happy and though it would be hard at first, she could move on.

Ok, I know no talk about stars personal lives, but I had been noticing that Martha Julia was actually looking thick in some scenes and some scarves were being strategically placed, so I looked it up...and she is! Or has that already been covered in earlier discussions?
 

Sara- No. I did not know that Martha Julia is pregnant in real life. Glad the writers chose to write her pregnancy into the story, rather than write her out.
 

Vivi - Univision in my area of Florida has been broadcasting for years and a large audience including English speakers. PSMA has been difficult to watch the last two nights.
 

Sara, yes Marcelo Cordoba would have worked but neither Andy, Isabel nor Aranza would have let a guy that looked like that go and they all would be fighting Sonia for him. Totally would need a rewrite
 

Tofie- It is because Uni is the largest Spanish broadcaster in the US that they feel they can disrespect the Televisa writers/director/actors, and the US audience by slicing up Televisa's product this way. They think they can get away with it, and they are right. However, now that Telemundo is producing more tns than ever and getting into more markets, and Mundofox too, and all the satellite channels, they better take note and starts being more respectful our their audience and the sellers of the products they buy.
 

I get Mundofox already but not Telemundo however I can watch my daily dose of La Impostora online. Funny you mention they had better watch their back because several Spanish speaking friends do not watch Univision (or the Televisa programs) but Telemundo

Someone called for the PIs resignation the other day and I agree! It's so sad Feo is thwarting all attempts at viable information. What a waste of time and energy, not to mention money.

Aranza is so done with Feo. We see it, when will she? Sigh.

So sorry that Fab was sacrificed at the altar of matrimony - a wonderful man who has been deceptively and expertly manipulated by a murderous viper without conscience.

Regarding Bruno, I don't see him leaving Ally if they go ahead and adopt the kids. I can see him getting cold feet about adoption and leaving before though. If he leaves Ally before, Gabi may take him back, if he leaves after adoption, she won't touch him with a ten-foot pole. Why would she want someone who rejected kids that weren't his. Gabi's child isn't his either. I kind of think that Gabi will get together with Fabricio - if the guy survives.
