Thanks so much TJ. While Gil's relationship will hopefully continue to make him a better person, Borlas and Mari is not good for me. I think it was Sara who noted that they look like siblings. Sorry to hear the on-line site is down as it seems Uni cuts the few happy parts.

It's too bad the writers don't focus more on Andrea b/c he is clearly the one of the most intelligent people on this tn (though the bar here low). She and Gabi need to think together and get to the bottom of these "coincidences."

The one plus about Art catching Isa and Feo is he'll prevent her rape. I'm not looking forward to seeing his jealous tantrum.
 

Since Sonia isnt happy about Marcela slinking in I'm guessing she's gonna off her. We're coming in the home stretch and this is where villains start to annihilate one another. And Sonia is more capable than Dr. Cuckoo. Oh Andrea, you gem. Mauricio listen to your wife.

Thanks TJ! I am soooo disappointed with Tita for using the orphanage project to "test" Bruno and Gabi. Seems the only women in this TN who don't have ulterior motives are Gabi, Ileana, Andrea and Agatha. And now Ally is turning into a jealous witch? I noticed Ally was wearing the same invisible skirt from Monday, the one that blended into the exterior paint. :)

Does anyone know about that restaurant where Gil, Agatha, Ileana and Dan were having lunch? It looks like it is a converted church. Beautiful windows! I love stained glass.

Glad Mari and Borlas will give it a try. Since this is happening I am more convinced that Sonia lied to the Padre about her baby being a boy. And maybe she gave Tita some hair from her friend Lucero for that DNA test. There has been so much cut out of this TN, the "hair donation" might have been something we never got to see. That friend of Sonia's seems to show up only at the most opportune times.

 

I think it was Diana who originally noted the sibling resemblance between Mari and Borlas.

I am so pithed about this development I can't even express it. The monkey writers have just been toying with us IRT Mari and Dan and Uni's scissors haven't helped the situation.

Not cool. This is not cool.

Aren't we caught up to Mexico yet? Can they stop editing?

"What is wrong with her?? Let that witch doctor stay at home in her own house" and "She doesn’t trust Daphne but Mau does. Obviously Mau doesn’t know Daphne" were among my favorites. Enjoyed the title too!

Cassandra, Feo and Sonia have their trust issues with each other as it is. Agree that "Dr. Crazy" is problematic for both of them now that she has insinuated herself in the business. Let's hope Feo puts his nefarious skills to use and starts to ponder who and what the odious doctora really is.

Loved Gil and Agatha together but still annoyed at him: "Gil feels responsible for Dan and Marianela breaking up". Really? As well you should.

I think that Borlas and Mari are well suited as are Dan and Illeana. That said, sometimes the heart doesn't feel the same. I am conflicted but feel Dan and Mari are the better "love match" (still uncomfortable with the striking physical resemblance of Borlas and Mari).

Karen, you are totally right in that Andrea's thinking has been clear and concise. Gaby is on the same page and as we have been saying, a girls night out with a meeting of the minds with Agatha and Isa is sorely needed.

xint, I'm perplexed as to why Tita wants to test Bruno. What is she trying to accomplish? What if her plan backfires and she brings them together?

I am completely cringing every time Feo touches Isa! How dare he to that to Susana! (One of the 2 reasons I continue to watch - Susana and this blog).

As you noted Sara, the editing needs to stop. Basta!!!

What kind of help does Dafne want from Andy and Mau?

I like calling Mad Mar the witch doctor. I would like to see Sono turn her attention on her. However, now that Sono has the other brother Fab, why would she care about the witch doctor stalking Art ? Freaky Fer would probably love to have Mar distract Art while he preys on clueless Isa. Ugh...why can't SOMEONE ..anyone wake up and smell the Favier. Fer's delusions of grandeur will surely be his downfall. I hate that nobody-is-as-smart-as-me attitude. I wish Imcould think of a really dreadful anvil for him. I need this guy punished big time. Maybe eaten by coyotes or wolves like Kendra in AV.

Thanks TJ---I am surprised that there are only nine comments. One thing caught my eye when I read your recap. You called it an uncomfortable moment when Bruno was talking to Gaby's baby. I would call it a little more than uncomfortable, I mean, if looks could kill. Ally was staring daggers. You're playing with fire Bruno.

I didn't watch the episode, but glad they showed Andrea and that she is still using her brain, in regards to Dafne and FeVier. These people need to start listening to her.

I don't know what to think about the Bruno-Gabi-Ally situation. I think it's normal for Ally to feel put off by her husband touching and cooing at the pregnant belly of his ex girlfriend, especially when she can't have bio kids. It also seems that she and Bruno are now on the same page about adopting the kids. Uriel already feels at home with them. I wish the writers would have had both Bruno and Gabi make peace and move on, just as friends. But it seems those old feelings are still there on both their parts.

I also wish the writers would solve the Mari mystery too. But it seems they are saving everything for the last week or too:
- The Sonia abandoned baby reveal, and clarity on if Mari is the missing baby.
- The Feo/Sonia multi murder/nexus of evil/long-term plotting reveal.
- The Marcela fake cancer diagnosis/crazy Art obsession reveal.
- The Dante minion of evil reveal.

After all of this, Isa, Art and Ara should each go to long-term therapy. Isa needs to learn to be less trusting and naive/more discerning. Art needs to learn to be less obtuse/more perceptive. Ara needs to learn to be less gullible and flighty, and more respectful and appreciative.
 

So are Bruno and Ally now going to adopt the other hats that Tita just built the orphanage for ? I thought that they were told that they could only adopt uno and lucky Uriel won the raffle. Has Tita made new rules now that she has built her own orphanage ? You don't think that the writers would somehow kill off Ally so that Bruno and Gaby could end up together , or do you ? I wonder if Mexico still has orphanages because here in the US., foster care has replaced orphanages. .
 

It makes my blood boil no one will take Andy seriously and last night Gabi and Isabel just brushed her off. While I bet she wasn't Fernando's first victim, she was only 16 and had the longest relationship and bore him two children, so if she is screaming something amiss, it's amiss.

While the Cuckoo Doc pursues Art and bails him out financially, it is not in Fernando's best interest that happens, eliminating the need for ABrat to gain access to her trust fund to help daddy. Nor I think for ABrat to find out about his pursuit of Isabel.

Fernando stalking Isabel down reminds me of the fight in the "Sand Pebbles" between the Chinese coolie and the fat, overconfident, loud mouthed sailor.

 

Susanlynn- Yes. Most other countries still have orphanage systems (when family isn't around), and the reason why they were able to be phased out in the U.S. was because of the foster care system. It's a system with its own flaws, but created to deal with many of the issues that come with an orphanage system where kids are often neglected, overcrowded, and don't thrive.

I thought the case worker said that Ally and Bruno would only be able to adopt one, right now. But the possibility for future adoption of the others was still open.

I wonder how Tita will start gathering up other kids to house in her orphanage. Has she hired enough staff? How will her orphanage be different than the others? Hopefully, she will have amazing staff who won't abuse the kids like the lady in Mari's orphanage did to her. But the last orphanage the kids were in didn't seem bad at all. Perhaps too many kids sleeping in the same room, but they looked happy. The biggest problem is that they didn't have qualms about separating Mari's kids if different families wanted to adopt them. But would it really be better for them all to stay in an orphanage versus them being adopted by different loving families? I know. Too many questions, but I have been wondering about how they plan to run this orphanage for a while.

At first glance,I was hoping Ally would disappear. Thereafter, strangely, I began to like her.

I had to admire that she came to Mexico without friends and was thrust into the midst of an (unintentionally) less than hospitable group including a MIL she'd never met. She had to become part of her husband's social circle that include the ex love of her husband's life and HER bff.

She perseveared. She found her own niche, embracing the children and won Tita over.

But, she does not seem truly happy. While Gaby's presence may be exacerbating the situation, I felt from the beginning she and Bruno were simply not over the moon in love.

I would like to see her and Bruno happy but suspect it may not be with each other.

Ditto, Diana. ITA as well with the reasons why you like Ally. I appreciate that the writers didn't make her some evil witch. But it makes the situation more difficult.
 

Diana, I totally agree with you about Bruno and Ally. She was his rebound romance, but Gabi is his true love. If Ally were truly secure in her relationship with Bruno his making goo-goo noises to Gabi's baby wouldn't be a big deal.

Gringo, regarding Mari. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I can't stand the girl anymore, when she started whining again last night I almost shut the TV off. She's as immature as Aranza. I don't care how much you've been hurt, you don't ruin someone else's wedding by being an ass. I think most of her problem is that Dan was her first crush and she had no experience in man/woman relationships. On the other hand, neither did he. I was hoping that Cuca would tell Gil why Dan broke up with Mari, but as usual that didn't happen.



 

I never liked the Bruno/Gabi paring from the beginning but get why Bruno is not over her and believes he missed out. However, his behavior as a married man now is disgusting and shows total disrespect toward Ally. If Gabi wants to lament she missed her mister right, it is through the lens of hindsight because the timing was way off 10 years ago. Frankly, while she has become more desperate and regressed, Bruno is the same ole manboy and believe she would tire of him being underfoot constantly.

 

Was I wrong or did I see Marcela spotting the conspiracy between Sonia and FeVier? What will she do with that information?
