Ay Ay Ay! I couldn't take notes fast enough, and half of it was crap I didn't care about!
Right to the new
Borlas tells Sonia that despite her rejection, he is proud of who he is. Borlas asks who is dad is. Sonia says it's better he doesn't know and that Borlas shouldn't go looking for answers.
The Doctor in charge of Isa's care (Dr. Santa) continues his online research of Casa Arte. It's the second time Isa was telling the truth!
Bruno and Gabriela (Gabi) are both at the restaurant. Bruno tells Gabi that Ally asked him to meet her there because she had something important to tell him. He tries to call her, but she doesn't pick up. Gabi thinks it was all planned.
Dafne (The Duck) tells Lucha to pack a bigger bag since she's still undecided about what she'll wear. Esteban can carry it. NEXT!
Bruno professes his love to Gabi. (My notes read "Idiot. Dumb a$$.") Ally wonders why he never asks for a second cup of her coffee. Despite Bruno's love for Gabi, he has to respect his marriage with Ally and the children, but his heart is with Gabi. Gabi admits she misses his presence in her life, especially now that Isa is missing.
Art (fArt) tells Aranza (Ara) that Esteban (Este) and the Duck are going to go on a little trip. Marcela (Witch Doctor) thinks it's a good idea. It will give the Duck more reason for living. Osvaldo (Ossie) comes to visit and notices fArt's happy air. Ara tells Ossie that Marcela and fArt are novios. Ossie seems thrilled. Viewerville curses the heavens and launches the nerfazos ™ (NovelaMaven.)
Gabi is going to respect Bruno's marriage and leaves. From her hiding place Ally says she has no doubt Bruno and Gabi sill love each other.
Ileana asks if Borlas is ok after meeting with Sonia. He's fine. He hopes that nothing but good will come from this new life.
Ally reveals herself to Bruno and tells him that she had to confirm what her heart was already telling her.
Witch Doctor invites herself to stay the night with fArt. He's all for it. He has to get up early, but she can sleep in. He'll let Lucha and Gabino to make sure she has everything she needs. (urp.)
Bruno swears he never cheated on Ally. Ally knows that Bruno is sacrificing his love for Gabi. Ally will not stay in a marriage based on sacrifice. It's not fair to the 3 of them. Ally thinks she deserves better (and she certainly does!) She thinks they should separate.
Gabi is at home wondering about Ally's invitation when Agent Rosas calls. Gabi tells him Isa hasn't called back. He assures Gabi he is following every clue. She asks about Efrain. They are still looking for him. Agent Roses will let her know as soon as they know something.
Tita and Bruno are having a late night chat. She wonders if something is wrong with Ally and Bruno. She noticed he's changed bedrooms. She says you should never go to bed angry. He admits they are separating. Caigamos en oracion.
Ileana and her mom are going to visit the enfermos at the psychiatric hospital and deliver ropa to the dispensario as well. Ileana offers to take the clothes in her car. Ileana tells her mother she has a boyfriend and mom guesses correctly it's Borlas. Mom seems very happy for Ileana.
Lucha seems a bit scandalized that the Witch Doctor is sleeping in fArt's room. fArt informs Lucha he plans to rebuild his life with the Witch Doctor. (Dead.to.me. Worst.galan.ever.)
Tita and Bruno are still yammering about Bruno's marriage. I honestly don't care. GET TO ISA!! Tita is so disillusioned. She thought he and Ally were in love. Tita has lots of respect for Ally and notes that she is more mature than Bruno (I love you, Tita, but that's on you.)
Dr. Santa tells he's going to Casa Art in person to investigate further. Yessss!!!!
The Duck is preparing to leave. Ara wonders why she has such a big bag and remembers Este telling her about Dafne's marriage proposal. Whatever. NEXT!!
Tita and Ally discuss the separation. Ally is very sad she can't adopt Pulga/Nuria
Ara has figured out Este and the Duck are eloping and she tries to stop him. He stopped her form marrying Javier and now she is going to stop him from making a similar mistake.
At Casa Arte, Dr. Santa Claus asks Tere if Gabriela San Roman is in. It's concerning Isabel López Cerdán.
Second Doctor in Command of manicomio greets Ileana and her mother. Mom is there to visit the patients who never get visitors. The doctor will show her to the visiting room. Ileana stays and wanders around the garden. There she sees Isa.
Ara continues to try to talk Este out of marrying the Duck. The Duck tells her to butt out. Ara thinks Este will regret this. He wasn't the one who proposed. Dafne thinks Ara is being a sore loser. Her boyfriend cheated on her and now she's just trying to get Este back. Dafne tells Este not to listen. He is everything to her.
Isa hugs Ileana and thanks God. Ileana wonders what Isa is doing there and Isa begs Ileana to help her.
Doctor Santa talks with Gabi. She wants to know what Isa has to do with the manicomio. Dr Santa informs her Isa is a patient there.
Ara is still trying to convince Este and the Duck not to get married. She tries the "what about your parents?" angle. She begs Este to reconsider. NEXT!
Gabi is cara de impactada. Who put her in there? She explains that Javier is NOT Isa's husband. Arturo de la Riva is. Javier took advantage of Isa's amnesia. The police are even investigating. Gabi wants the doctor to take her to Isa. Her friend is not crazy.
Este thinks Ara is right and they shouldn't marry. Dafne want him to leave her alone. She thought he loved her and was ready to do anything for her. She tells him it's her fault she's paralyzed. Lucha sees Dafne nudge Greñitas with her foot (Well hell's bells! She HAS been faking!)
Ileana can't believe Isa has been admitted to the manicomio. Isa explains about the Witch Doctor's false records. She tells Ileana about the baby and asks Ileana to help her escape. There's a low building she can climb. Ileana can wait on the other side. Now, lets go stroll and look nonchalant.
Bruno and Ally tell Uriel about the separation. Uriel wants to stay with Bruno. The monkey writers are misogynists, I swear. Ally won't oppose it.
Tita and Ossie talk about the impending separation. Ossie thinks they can convince the judge to let Ally adopt Pulga/Nuria on her own. Tita is thrilled.
Dafne's gritos wake the Witch Doctor who grouses about the locas in the house (Take a look in the mirror, woman.)She goes to Dafne's room. Dafne and Ara screeching. This usually means nothing super important is being said. The Witch Doctor is going to sedate Dafne. Thank heaven.
Ileana creates a diversion with candy. Isa runs and climbs a roof. Ileana calls her mom and makes excuses about a project for school and her work mates just called. She'll still drop off the clothes.
Dafne gets drugged and is blessedly silent.
Ileana meets Isa and Isa jumps in the back. They are stopped by a guard on their way out. Hes asks for Ileana's I.D. and has to check the back. Hooray for incompetent security! He doesn't notice Isa in the pile of clothes. As Ileana starts to go, the guard stops her again. She almost left her I.D.! He lets her leave. Drive, girl!!
Witch Doctor gives Gabino a report on Dafne. She'll be out for a while. He asks about madame's breakfast. She's gonna bathe. Just coffee and yogurt. He'll have it ready. He leave and she gushes about being the new Mrs. de la Riva.
Lucha reports to Gabino that she saw Dafne kicking Greñitas.
Tita tells Ally they should talk to judge so Ally can adopt Pulga/Nuria. Ally thanks Tita and tells her about Uriel wanting to live with Bruno. Tita tells Ally she loves her.
Dr. Santa and Gabi are at the manicomio. Dr Santa asks to have Isa brought in.
Ileana and Isa have made the great escape. Isa asks for money and is going to see fArt. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! She asks Ileana to call Gabi and Andrea at Casa Arte.
The Witch Doctor monologues about marrying fArt and how she's waited for this. fArt will be hers and nothing will stand in the way of their happiness. *shudder*
Gabi and Dr. Santa talk about Isa's chart. Doc Santa thought it odd that Javier was so eager to medicate Isa, despite the risks. Gabi explains that the Witch Doctor NEVER treated Isa for mental health issues. Only infertility and then told her she had ovarian cancer. Doc Santa informs Gabi that Isa does NOT have cancer. She's pretty healthy. Her pregnancy just needs some special care. Gabi and cara de qué qué what? Embarazada?
Isa is running up to the de la Riva mansion as Marcela is leaving. *insert favorite profanity here*

Oh Sara, this was such a difficult episode! A roller coaster ride with death defying highs and lows.
I was cheering Isa and the fortuitous meeting. I thought now we are getting somewhere! I don't want to give away anything for those who haven't seen this yet, but the ending literally made my heart sank.
Borlas' conversation with his "mother" was so sad. At least he now has many who love him.

Sara, I have to agree that there is probably no worse villain than an evil doctor. Marcela should get a customized anvil at the end.

How the hell did the novela end up here? I am just amazed at all the awful. Ally is so wonderful and mature, and I agree the writers have to be misognists for this crap. Bruno and Arturo are so yuck.

Sarah- Thanks for all the up dates. I am wondering HOW all the story lines are going to be all tied up at the FIN of this novella next Friday night. Is Isabelle ever going to get a break? AND I love the smack she gave Marcella across the face - She should have cold cocked her, right then and there. fArt- Great description- like he's going to suddenly care for Isabelle again.
Aw! No FeVier tonight? :( Oh, well! Anyways, I can officially start to panic now that we're down to the final episodes! :O Like omg what's gonna happen to my fave, FeVier??! Ahhh! There are 2 options, really. He'll either die a terrible death (noooo! It just HAS to be this way, doesn't it?!) or go to jail & be bullied around for the rest of his life by the other inmates, you know, the typical ending for a villain? -_- *rolls eyes* I'm afraid that they'll go with the most clichéd ending which I think it's bull cuz I really hate when villains, esp. good ones, are either defeated WAY to easily (like, really? Just like that?) or simply are finished off in a lame way which really disappoints me. :/ Like, if they're gonna kill him off, do it right dammit! I just cannot tolerate a terrible ending for my fave villain! Or if they decide to go with "life in prison sentence" villain ending, I'm okay with that as long as they don't: have FeVier all of a sudden be at the hands/mercy of all the other "tough" & "intimidating" inmates! -_- Like, no! Just stop with this goddamn awful cliché already! I just really hate that one! Hopefully that won't happen cuz FeVier deserves a better ending than that! ;) So yeah I really hope I can bear the ending the writers have written for FeVier. Fingers crossed!

FeVier Fan- I never feel like death is a satisfying end for villains. I generally like them disfigured alone and suffering. Lol. I never understood the prison thug ending either. Like all of the sudden this evil badazz is weak and cowering. Also, I don't think FeVier's face is that ugly. He's just kind of pudgy and stiff acting. Not to mention they dress him like an Easter egg.

Anon 1:47 the villains hands down make this TN, though Sonia my favorite (unfortunately she is playing second fiddle to Marcela now), Hector has taken Fernando to the stratosphere, likely done too good a job and the writers not clever enough to do him justice in the end. I too wring my hands and demand my just reward and not a disappointment after all the build up. I already accept I will be pissed with a reunion of Esteban & ABrat, Gabi & Bruno and fArt & Isabel so need the vilest of them all Fernando to go out in a blaze of glory.

Isa was finally granted a small reprieve - something finally happened to allow her to escape. A miracle! She did so well and then lapsed into inexplicable bad judgement. Why Isa, why? The man never bothered to search for you and yet you care about him more than yourself? Why else would you put yourself and your child in such danger??
I yelled when I saw her running into Marcela. I fear we are in for a great deal more suffering (the previews clearly showed Marcela and Isa with Isa in grave danger).
Ally made an intelligent decision and I wish her the best. Needless to say, both she and Gaby deserve far better than Bruno.

Sonia is also my favorite villain, her actress Dominika Paleta having no small part in that. She does faking good, she does crazy good, she does pathetic good. Excellent actress. I like Sonia more as a villain because she is more ends justify the means than Fernando who is just really mean and creepy. The only problem is Sonia confided in her friend Lucero about Eugenia, so that will probably be her downfall seeing as Lucero isn't dead yet.

I think Ileana's mother is the first telenovela mom - RICH or POOR - to be genuinely happy that her daughter has found love. She didn't even hesitate to smile and hug her and she instantly figured out it was Borlas she was talking about. Go, Ile's Mom!!

Sara- Excellent recap! I just watched the epi on fast forward. Wow! The Witch Doctora has really flipped her lid now. I did laugh out loud when she got annoyed about all the yelling and called it a mad house-- she should feel right at home then. :)
The heroes of the epi are Dr. Santa and Ileana. I do wish Ileana had told her mom though, because she could have been of more help clearing things up with the doctors and she might have been able to talk some sense into that idiot Isa about not going back to the house by herself. If Isa had found Art, how did she think she was going to convince him of the truth all by herself, when he wouldn't believe her last time?
Glad that Ara stopped Este from going through with the tonteria of marrying Dafne. Looks like the fur/extensions will really fly on Monday when they all find out Dafne has been faking it. I also liked that blue shorts/overalls outfit and the heels Ara was wearing. Very cool and young. See, I said some nice things about Ara! :) I have no comment on Art.
I thought Borlas handled Sonia's cold rejection with class. Shake it off, and move on to your new life, Borlas. Learning who you're sperm donor is shouldn't bother you either because it just means you get two great brothers.

Isa doesn't know that Art didn't look for her or that he divorced her, but she does know that he doesn't want anything to do with her. Forget him, Isa, just go to CasaArte and around your real friends. I wouldn't even tell him that I was pregnant. Sara - Exactly! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about villain endings. I just hate how they make a villain so badass throughout the entire story only to have them end up all weak & pathetic in the end just to "satisfy" the Viewerville & show "justice" for the heroes. -_- like, boo! Like, yeah that is exactly what we wanted/needed to happen - not! I feel like we've been wronged & that's not cool! :/ And I agree, death is just a cop-out aka easy way out to write off a villain! And usually it's the female villains that get the most messed-up endings for some reason like they're usually the ones that either get scarred/burned for life (e.g. Cynthia, Isadora, Carmina), end up killing themselves (e.g. Ivana) or get devoured by wolves! (*CoughKendraCough*) like wtf? How come the guys get off so easily like they just end up in jail & that's it? :/But in this case, if that happens to FeVier, I wouldn't mind cuz he's an exception simply for being an awesome villain all the way through! ;) Unlike the others who were total jerks to their accomplices & THEY get a lighter sentence/punishment than the (usually female) partner-in-crime! Like it's so unfair! At least FeVier works well with his female companions & it's so much fun to watch them devise their devilish schemes so perfectly together! :D

Ok---So the duck can move her leg or legs a little but does that mean that she has enough feelings in them and her feet to be able to walk. That was a very heated argument and we did not see the Duck come flying out of the wheelchair to attack ABrat. Could it be that maybe she is partially healed?

As to Sono refusing to sign the divorce papers, in my state, divorces are declared final two years after filing even if one of the parties does not sign. Sono, it is too late. You have made your bed and have to sleep in it..,,and by the way, fabulous Fab won't be in it. So sad, too bad. as you have sown, so shall you reap...and it will be a bitter harvest for you..alas.

Gringo - lol, are u calling me blind? o.O lol I think u guys r exaggerating a bit just cuz he's not ur typical "good-looking" male actor or whatever. :/ And actually it's not always the looks that makes a girl fall for a guy, you know. Despite his age, the reason Aranza was drawn to him was cuz of his charm, which is a very effective thing manipulative ppl like psychopaths use to manipulate their victims in order to get what they want, in case you didn't know. Notice that he also did this to Isa as well from the very beginning when he was charming her with words & praises like always calling her "Guapa!" ;) and overwhelming her with gifts & surprises so of course she would believe that he was really in love with her! (Which is why she was so heartbroken when she realized that all of that was a lie & that she had been deceived by him.) So yeah with Aranza was no different. The same thing he did to her which left her heartbroken as well. Both women fell victims to his superficial charm, simple as that you guys.

Dr. Marcela is the new MRS, de la Riva---we'll see how long that lasts.
TJ--- Ally knew all along. From when did she know? They met in Spain. Ally only started to wonder after she saw the picture of Bruno and Gaby and they were already married at that point. I think she probably thought that Bruno would get past his feelings for Gaby but as time went on, she realized that he wouldn't. Too bad
as I said Ally is a good person. I guess that life doesn't always dish up sunshine and roses. This move on Bruno's part will hurt the children as well. So sad.
I'm with Tofie about Sonia. I don't know what it is about Dominika but I am riveted to the screen every time that she appears
She plays her parts so damn good
that I find myself bound and locked up by her spell. She sure was cold to Borlas when he came to see her. I didn't expect to see an instant love match but I did think that she would have been a little more cordial. I guess that we can cross so-not off the list as mommy material.

Thanks for the great recap Sara and for noting the writer's "women problems." Though tofie's comment about Uriel and Bruno bonding b/c they're both 9, Bruno had to be convinced to take him while Ally loved him and his "siblings" all along.
And don't even get me start on Isa going back to fArt's house. Oh, right she must be put in at least one more life/death situation before the end, good heavens why? Hasn't she suffered enough?
If the writers keep focusing on filler, it seems a lot of the murder and mayhem may not be revealed and that would be terrible.

While I don't like the filler (hated it) an unintended consequence of all the editing for weeks removing the filler has made us all impatient. Damned if they do and damned it they don't. Now if I had my druthers the anvils would come in slow mo removing the need for all the fluff instead of all of a sudden in the last 30 minutes.

I worry bout The Duck. That's one desperate scared wittle ducklin. (I wanted so bad for her to use that errant foot on ABrats ass) Dafne doesn't have a winning personality, is very insecure, doubt would be in the top twenty five in a little miss pageant, not the brightest crayon in the box, mother has crazy eyes like Marcela, daddy locked down with a trophy wife and she doesn't have good listening skills. But the girl does know how to spew inconvenient truth, her timing when she does it spot on and she ain't afraid to get in yo face. If by some miracle she could get through law school and pass the bar......

FeVier on an anthill for an hour or so and then using him as piranha food. pretty gruesome I say but then, one could argue that he deserved--earned it. Remember---Kendra became dinner for the hungry wolves.

FerVier Fan, So interesting that you compare Feo and Dr. Santa Claus. The actor playing Dr. Santa is Hector Ortega who was absolutely fantastic in La Verdad Oculta where he played both Mario and Faustus. A very short synopsis of the LVO plot:
Mario finds out that he has an inoperable tumor and has just a short time left to live. In order to protect the inheritance of his son, knowing that his partner Adolfo is an individual without scruples that would seize his fortune, Mario convinces Faustus to disguise himself and to take his place until the term of his business contract with Adolfo finishes.
Javier and Feo are the same character with just a few minor surface changes so this isn't a really challenging role. On the other hand, Mario and Fautus were completely different. To watch an actor play one character playing another character was fascinating. I'm really disappointed that Hector Ortega was given such a small role in this TN as Dr. Santa Claus.
And FerVier is chubby and dumpy.

I can't believe she will escape unscathed once the Fernando/Sonia connection is made. I am curious about their history and if Fernando was aware she was going to kill Eugeina or it was something she cooked up all by her lonesome.

Fernando absolutely knew that Sonia killed Eugenia (or contributed to her death). He was the one that provided her with the fake pills. They were planning for Sonia to marry Arturo and then both enjoy his wealth (by killing him? divorcing him? who knows) - this was all before Isabel even met Art the Fart. Sonia got pregnant by Fernando and tried to pass off the kid as her rich lover's (before the Raisin) only the man didn't fall for it because he had had a vasectomy! That's why she abandoned Baby Borlas. Her connection to Fernando goes way back. I don't remember if he knows about Borlas, though. He's never mentioned anything about it, even when he and Sonia were alone and messing around.

FINALLY Monday is here. It won't be long now for us to witness the slap that will undoubtedly be both seen and heard around the world. Pleeeease Isabel, give Dr. Evil more than a slap. Drag her down the sidewalk and through the dirt, then sue her as well as her practice for all that it's worth.
