TJ thanks for your great recap. A great deal happened in this episode. Your asides were great particularly this: "Ara feels like the fool that she is." And ITA while its too early, Fab and Ally make nice couple, if they get together, at least one woman in this tn aside from Andrea gets a decent man.

Stupidity continues in the life of Ara. Let's listen to my lying liar who lies tia and not tell your parents we are getting married.

If the writers have any sense of irony, one of those graves will be for Feo.
 

Ahh! The feels I get just watching FeVier digging up (his own?) grave! C'mon, you guys gotta give him credit for doing all of this on his own and basically being the mastermind behind everything! And I like how laidback he is as he continues to devise the next step of his evil scheme! (Haha, the part where he's just sitting at a table playing with a coin was a nice touch!) Like he does everything with such a calm state of mind and ease that allows him to still think clearly & not lose his mind like marcela already has. He's just very focused and so meticulous with his plans! And also I'm so glad to see him & sonia working together again! ;) Hooray!

He was only struggling cuz his arm was injured so of course he would have a hard time trying to dig up a grave all on his own with an injured arm which is why he was cursing himself for getting rid of his henchman dante too soon cuz he could've helped him with that part which I'm sure he could've done all on his own with no problem at all if he didn't get injured by that stupid dumb art! :/
 

Can I just say Dominika Paleta's best behaved role wasn't Liliana Elizalde in Manana es Para Siempre? She was the narrator in the Spanish Dub of a Tinker Bell movie (Now if I ever watch that, I'll have one thing continuously on my mind LOL)
 

Does anyone else feel like the actors are just sleep-walking through these last episodes? The whole thing feels very anti-climactic and amateurish to me. For instance, Osvi's line, "I can't believe my son Arturo is in the hands of a murderer!" and then he clasped his hands together. It reminded me of all those old movies where the women put the back of their hands against their mouths to feign horror.

I'm having a very hard time trying to keep a straight face watching this now. I laughed at The Bride of Skankenstein last night and tonight Feo with all the dirt all over him was just lame. And for G-d's Sake, the genius is trying to dig a grave with a flat-ended shovel! You need a shovel with a pointed, rounded tip to dig holes. What a dumb-ass. The only reason fat Feo has had such success as an evil-doer is because he's up against a group of people who don't have two living brain cells to rub together.

Sorry Lucha, Dante was a waste of flesh. Don't feel sorry for him at all.

I missed the first part so I missed Isabel screwing up her own escape. Figures.

 

XIntperuvian - wow, now ur just nickpicking on every little thing that FeVier does! -_- like really? Of him having dirt all over him? Lol, he was digging all day! So of course his clothes are gonna get messy from all that dirt he's been digging up! And no, that's not the only reason why he's been successful so far. Yeah, these ppl are dumb and are no match for him, but apart from that he's actually quite clever with his devilish schemes always able to manipulate the right people to assist him in his revenge plot against Isa! And even when things don't turn out as planned, he's still able to improvise aka change his plans as he goes along and STILL things work out for him cuz he's simply an evil genius as I've said before. ;)

Please explain why Javier killed Dante? Surely he would need him to help with all those prisoners he is accumulating? And, trying to dig graves with one hand? This is uncharacteristically stupid for Javier.

xlnt: I don't know if I feel like they are sleepwalking, but I do feel like they are stretching this out a little too long. All of this kidnapping and lunacy should have been a two episode arc at the most. Dragging it out for 6 episodes is a little annoying.
 

Gobluefan from OH- Feo killed Dante because he doesn't leave loose ends and Dante was a loose end to him. At this point his true identity is known and basically it was senseless.
 

Tablet, like I mentioned last night, Dante KNEW the risks of working with Feo. I do NOT feel sorry for him at all, but his parents should've known better to see their son was an evil person.

Whatever happened to Lucero, I know she got paid off to leave town, but is it possible she's Mari's mother.

Sara: Very nice seeing Dan and Mari together again. Big question is whether Don Gil finds out the truth about Sonia killing his best friend, the Padre ?

Anon- he is just cold and calculating but unrealistic. I'm still trying to figure out how come he has a change of clothes, if he is on the run? He is called Feo which is short for Fernando, and his looks are a matter of opinion. although a cut, rippled body he DOES NOT possess for this novela, he's short and stout.

TJ, thank you for an excellent recap. You have added so much to this troubling TN! I so enjoy your spirit, insightful comments and wonderful sense of humor.

"hmmm, it's probably too soon for Ally but Fab would be a great catch (ITA!)” and "(C'mon Isa, you are trying to reason with a nut, save your strength)" were but a few of my favorite lines.

I cannot believe that Ara and Este got married. Here her father is being held captive by a madman and poor Isa (whom she still obviously doesn't seem at all remorseful for) is being held by a madwoman. Not knowing what they were being subjected to yet not doing everything within her power to find them was hard enough to swallow. But then going and getting married in the midst of all this?? Oh Este, I am so disappointed in you! Ara is still dead to me.

I felt very badly for Lucha and Gabino. My heart ached for them and I cried along with them.

So many graves, so little time.

It is so frustrating that Feo is likely going to persevear until the last possible second. I wish his end would come tonight so we can rest assured Isa and her child will be all right and to ensure she and Gaby are on their way to a tropical island without Art and Bruno.

Gobluefan, I have no answer other than Feo wants no witnesses. I agree though he should have thought about utilizing him a bit further. Killing him when he did made no sense.

I think Fab and Ally would make a good couple Karen. It would be nice if we get to see if that occurs.

TJ-Excellent job with a packed episode! Thanks for all your great recaps.

Diana- Ara and Este had to get married in order for her to access the ransom money. It's not like they even shared a romantic kiss, and everyone else is just sitting around drinking coffee, wringing their hands, and waiting for news from the cops, so I don't see what was wrong with Ara and Este taking matters into their own hands and tracking down clues from Dante and Sonia. Where they have made a wrong turn is in not telling anyone or the cops about Sonia' s blackmail. They should have told, and pretended to go along with her, and then had backup from the cops. But I don't think they realize just how evil Sonia is.

Sara-All of Feo's crimes and secrets have been revealed, so now Sonia's need to be revealed, among them the deaths of Eugenia and Padre, and a confession about Dante's dad.
 

I mean Borlas' dad.

I did feel sorry for Lucha and Gabino. But Dante got what was coming to him.
 

I'm just nervous because it really seems like Sonia has been put on the back burner, but I guess she will be more in the picture tonight and tomorrow.
 

Sara, what would be a twist is if Isabel pulls an Eli Pope (Olivia's CIA father from Scandal) and puts Aranza in the black hole for all of the crap she put Isabel through.

I wish there had been another way to get the money rather than having Ara and Este marry Vivi. Honestly, I am so disgusted with her it is clouding my opinion. And I freely admit it!

Aranza is monumentally stupid for believing anything Sonia says at this point. They should all have just taken those DVDs to the police and stayed away from Sonia, knowing that she was Feo's accomplice.

I couldn't believe fArt could be so dumb as to offer this sociopath money; we need to see that as desperation.

The static in the electricity in that place suggests that there is an explosion in the finale. Maybe Feo's fate is to be blown back to Hell. I hope he takes Sucia and Marcelash with him.



 

Diana- - ITA- I feel like Ara got the easy way out in a sense. She ends up Este who is a prize.

UA- thank you- do you think that the writers are that clever? It would the perfect ending.
 

Some writers are good at poetic justice. Carlota in ENDA got the perfect ending, as did Rosaura, Cynthia, and Bruno in LQNPA.

Feo's Satanic look should get him a prime place in Hell... unless Satan is afraid he's going to take over.

 

I'm afraid that if there were an explosion, it would just be another fake-out by Feo, and we would see him emerge to once again ride off into the sunset. That would be a very wicked ending, but I need to see him dead, dead, dead, deader than dead!

I don't think many Caraymates watched El Fantasma de Elena, but the ending of that would satisfy your request.
 

UA I hope you're right and there's a big explosion with Feo, Marcela and Sucia trapped in those jail cells. I've been saying all along I want to see Feo burn for real this time, I wanna see him scream in pain! I may be crazy I know ;)
 

Like Vivi, I'm demanding proof of his death this time. No escape to make another comeback and hurt anyone else.

I think that the static we're hearing isn't anything he caused. But why is it even still there when the utility should have shut it off as soon as the building was no longer being used?

I think the episodes this week have been very well paced. I like it better this way. I like having time to savor the villians' downfall, and I like having all the secrets revealed.

I agree with FeVier fan that Feo is not so ugly. And when he has his short hair, glasses, and goatee, he reminds me of a dear friend at work.

Aleta- I agree. I think the reveals have been well paced this final week. Usually all the major reveals are saved for the final two hours. Now the good guys have their eyes opened, and we still have three whole hours to go.

Seems these last three epis will have Art, Isa, and Ara imprisoned and at the mercy of the villains, and they will either need to 1) work together to get themselves out of the clutches of the three villains, 2) die trying, 3)get lucky enough to get rescued by their friends/family and the police, or 4) a combination of the three. It also seems like we'll have a lot of backstabbing (perhaps literally) among the remaining villains in these final hours. Oh, goody!

I had to laugh at Feo digging ALL those graves for all those "loose" ends he's planning to tie up- Art, Ara, Marcela, Sonia.
 

I thought we just had two episodes left.
 

Oh that's right. They split the Mexican 2 hour finale into two nights- tonight and tomorrow. So just 2 hours of mayhem left!
 

According to the program's Wikipedia page Capitulo 151 was in two parts of 36 and 30 minutes. Here is hoping that you guys get it all with no commercial interruptions (but I doubt that, as novela finales usually get prime ad dinero).
 

He didn't kill him he shot him because he doesn't need Any more of his assistance. And so he won't talk to the police about him, but he is fully alive and told everyone what they both did( fer and Dante)
 

Wow, TJ, thank you for this terrific recap of a snapping happening episode. I must admit that I have been exhausted (end of semester figuring final grades plus I just started doing some private tutoring ) and I dozed off at the end . TJ, thanks also for all your excellent recaps, and thanks to all the loyal recappers who have given their time and talent to keep us informed.

Yikes, after reading the comments suggesting Ferd's fate...well...yikes. Don't you think that telenovela villains provide us with the opportunity to transfer some of our frustration with real folks who are making life less than calm and pleasant for us onto some fictional folks ...in a safe, nonviolent way ??? What a great way to vent .

I guess that those videos of Ferd and Sono were so sizzling hot that Dante (who is now DeadDante) had to store them in the frig.

How will Sono's victims be revealed now ? Ferd. ? Lucero? Or will Sono's confess before her anvil drops ?

Anon- Not sure she's "my" Ara, but I don't see her as the main baddie in this or anywhere close, so I reserve my vitriol and hope for large anvils for the real villains. But since you didn't see the epi, you should be happy to know that Ara still seems really grossed out by the fact that she slept with Este's dad, and couldn't even bring herself to peck on the cheek Este after the judge married them. It was sort of funny because the judge thought the reason they were so insistent on getting married right NOW is because they are madly in love, and they could barely stand to touch each other (at least Ara couldn't). :)

FerVier fan, Fernando has been called "Feo" in these recaps since day one. It's a short version of his name. As for calling him pudgy, fat, portly, etc., I'm just pulling your leg, yanking your chain, or in more modern slang "I'm messin' witcha". Chill. It's all good.

 

Maybe Esteban needs to rework the lyrics to that old song:
"I want a girl,
just like the girl,

Since we're in the last two hours of this TN I thought I'd share this funny TRUE story:

As I've said, we live on a small farm so I do lots of outdoor chores like putting up fences, cutting brush, mowing, trimming tree branches and so on. I needed some items so I went to Lowe's with my list. I was dressed in my "work clothes"; boots, sweatshirt, jeans, everything well used and a little dirty. This nice clerk offered to help me. So I said, "The first thing I need is a five-gallon bucket." We got that, then I said, "I'm looking for an ax." So we got that. Next thing on my list was some clothesline rope. He helps me find that and then looks at me standing there with a five-gallon bucket, an ax and some clothesline rope and very hesitantly asked me, "Is there anything else you need? Like maybe a bag of lime?"

Poor guy thought I was an ax murderer.

 

Kathy- If only Feo had such a nice young man to help him when he was putting together his murder kit. ;-)

I'm angry at Dante for pointing Aranza to the Feo videos and sucking Sonia back into the crazy mess. She almost slipped under the radar, (other than folks querying her about how long she was in cahoots with Fernando) could have left town and no one the wiser.

I did like seeing her again and the facial expressions and quick retort to Aranza gave me a glimpse of ole Sonia. She is clever enough to know she better be ready for bear when she sees Fernando again.

 

Sonia has to pay for killing Eugenia.

Someone (sorry, forgot who) said that Ara's a brat but still gets the prize, namely, Este. I beg to differ. He is NOT any kind of a prize. The boy is DUMB. Beyond dumb - the boy is STUPID DUMB. He always asks his parents for advice, which they willingly give to him - but he never follows it! He "lets" Dafne become his girlfriend when he has no feelings for her. He loses his little brother while on a weekend trip with Dafne. He breaks into a warehouse to "borrow" money for the kid's ransom, letting oily Gonzalo talk him into doing something stupid. He's fooled into thinking he "made love" to Dafne (good thing she didn't have time to foist a fake pregnancy on him). He follows stupidly like a sheep wherever Dafne leads him, even letting himself be convinced that he should marry her because he "owes" her. And now, he blindly follows Ara into a marriage to "save" her father without asking his parents or the police to help set a trap for Fernando and Sonia. They KNOW Fernando has Art and that Sonia has been his accomplice all this time. They also know about all the crimes that have been committed. Why in the world would they think they can handle this on their own? STUPID,STUPID, STUPID - they deserve each other, for sure.

Anon- I said that Ests was the prize because he is a decent young man who unlike Ara is respectful towards his parents. He does not have the sense of entitlement that Ara has. He was gullible and naive and that is why his brother was kidnapped and he "broke" into the warehouse. He was born to trust adults and fell into Feo's trap. He was Daphne's boyfriend because as the expression says- how many times can you kick a dog until they bite back. Ara kicked and kicked and he finally bit with Daphne. At this point no one is thinking correctly, because the police should have been called from the beginning, but its a novela and we need something to comment on. :-)

Believe it was Susanlynn suggest some of these idiots were headed to Oz and Esteban should get on that slow boat and throw himself at the feet of the wizard and beg for some self-respect cause he ain't got a shred. Within a couple days he already got his head up Aranza's butt so far he'll never see daylight again. He dumps The Duck, and though the girl took a bullet in the back he threw the her out of his parents apartment and didn't so much as ask if she needed to use the bathroom because he wanted to slobber on Aranza some more. Then finds out he was dumped for his daddy and she stayed with the guy a year and his daddy the one that didn't want her. The fool works through all these mental gymnastics to make it ok because after all they are both available now. Then the bone head follows her all over town hoping to get a biscuit and a pat on the head but yippie gets to marry the girl. Despite the obvious reason for the marriage the guy still tries to kiss her and she turns her head with a, naw.

 

TJ - I agree that Este is a nice young man, polite and respectful to grownups, but still, DUMB!

Tofie, LOL - my sentiments exactly re Este. Now I have "If I only had a brain" running through my mind and oops! I just hummed it out loud and got a few strange looks for it (not a thing to hum while at work, for sure)!

gringo - uh, no I haven't actually read any crime novels involving serial killers. (I know, shocking, right? XD) I just usually prefer the villains over the heroes in most movies or shows I watch, that is all! And yes, I do have a fascination with evil & mayhem as you guys probably may have noticed already! ;)
