De Que Te Quiero Te Quiero #94/94 6/13/14

De que dura sola una hora, dura sola una hora!!!

Lo Refrito
  • Gino hates the website.
  • Rod and Vicente (Grumps) have their reunion.
  • Diego ugly cries and finds out Nat married Rod thinking it was Diego.

Lo Nuevo
Diego is beside himself with grief and wants to know why Alonso didn't stop the wedding or do something. Alonso is a terrible friend. Diego gets agitated and has to be restrained and sedated.

Grumps thinks what Rod did to his brother was terrible. What was he thinking trying to kill him? Rod gives Grumps his BS side of the story. It's Diego's fault he was in the coma! Diego had set his sights on a pueblerina and Rod decided to have a little fun and switch places with Diego. At the party she dragged him away and the next thing he knew a guy showed up and beat him. He woke up two years later to find out Diego had set him up and was engaged to the girl that saw him getting beat up and did nothing! Diego sent the dude to beat me up and the Pueblerina was none other than Natalia Garcia!

Al tries to convince the nurse that Diego is not a violent guy. It was just a crisis. When he wakes up he'll be better able to understand what's going on...at least Alonso hopes so.

Grumps really can't believe Diego is capable of doing such a thing. He really suffered while Rod was in the coma. He fought the hardest against against pulling the plug. Rod doesn't believe it. He's convinced Diego sent the guy to beat him up and he hates Diego. Rod wants BOTH Diego and Nat to suffer.

Nat is still crying over her gift from Diego. Carmen comes in to remind Nat that the Caceres family is the devil. Carmen offers to throw away the mementos. Nat tells Carmen that if she wrote a list of all the terrible things the Caceres folks did, Diego wouldn't be on it. He never did her any harm.

Rod understands his coma was hard for Grumps. He doesn't think he mattered to anyone else, though. Rod tells Grumps that Irma helped him carry out his plan and also explains taking advantage of Diego's car accident to switch places. Grumps asked why he married Nat if he hated her so much. Rod just wanted to make her suffer. Grumps double checks that murder was not on Rod's mind. Rod swears that's an invention of Alonso's. Grumps idiotically hopes that Rod and Diego can let bygones be bygones and make up. Then they can put Nat UNDER the jail. Rod thinks Diego will just defend Nat. Grumps thinks he won't be so willing to forgive when he finds out Nat had something to do with Rod's coma.

Irene calls Alonso and asks for an update. Why fill her in over the phone when they can meet in person? They make a date.

El, Lupita and Cunchetina make plans to break up Gino and Carmen's wedding.

Paolo is upset Gino didn't like his website. Mara tells him they can just take it down. She thinks it's better than Paolo fighting with his dad. They leave and Abdul and Angela almost kiss, but Toño interrupts. (I guess they've been editing their love story.)

Gino whines alone about the web page and fighting with Paolo. He should have told his son the truth from the beginning. Clearly he's upset that with such a public display, he will be easily found (like his wardrobe isn't already a beacon in the darkest night.)

Al and Irene meet at the restaurant and hug. Just in time for Tad to see! (He's there with a business partner I assume.) Irene tries to explain she's just getting a report about Diego. Al ends up giving the report to both Irene and Tad. Nat called and was mean to Diego and he went nuts. (se desquició)

Cunchetina calls the boliche alley just to hear Gino's voice. It freaks Gino out and he assumes the website is to blame. Polo comes in and they make up. Gino will let the webpage stay up for a week. Paolo thinks it will do wonders for the business.

El brings Lupita home from the circus. After Lupita goes off to give Nat a lollipop, Carmen breaks down and cries about not being able to find the right words to say to Nat and Nat wanting to break up with Diego. She and El hug.

Lupita tries to comfort Nat. Nat, through tears, promises to be happier (she's kind of sucking at it right now, though.) She tells Lupita her family is her strength.

Carmen thanks El for his caring and for always being there in hard times and for caring so much about her children. He tells her te quiero and they kiss. Only to be interrupted by the arrival of Gino and his purple suit. They make a quick recovery, but Gino is no dummy.

Tad pouts like a b!tch. He wants Irene to look at him the way she looks at Al. He needs to know she loves him and they can be happy for the little time ***insert scratching record sound effect here***....little time? Irene asks. Forget it, Tad responds. He grabs his nose.

Brat is trying to get in touch with Rod, but he's not answering. The doorbell rings and she starts yelling about using the key, but OOOOPS!!! It's Al and he wants to know who she gave a key to.

Irene is on the phone with the doctor explaining that Tad has a bad nosebleed. They've clearly edited the part where we discover that Tad is NOT ok. The doc asks a lot of questions about pain, dizziness and bruising. Tad says yes to all of it. Doc tells him to take his pills and see him in the morning. Tad makes light of the situation and heads for bed.

Carmen doesn't get why Gino is so anti 21st century advertising. Lupita thinks she can get the address from the website.

Nat asks El for the name of a good lawyer. She doesn't want to use Alberto since he's so close to the Caceres family. El thinks Nat is being a little hasty and tells her to give her heart a chance. He's sure that Nat's happiness is with Diego. Lupita interrupts to invite El to dinner.

Brat tells Alberto she gave a key to Karina. He wants them to do dinner. She can't since she's waiting for Karina. He offers to wait with her and give them a ride. She excuses herself and calls Karina. She needs Karina to call and say she's not coming. Karina balks. She's seen the light and won't be part of manipulations anymore. She tells Brat even bleach won't get rid of the stains on her soul (I'm being a little hyperbolic.) Brat calls the house phone from her cell and runs to the living room to "take" the call. She tells Alberto they can do dinner know. He wants to stay in.

El isn't going to stay for dinner since Gino is a little suspicious. He tells Lupita that he thinks her mom likes him. They celebrate.

Grumps found a good lawyer. Nat is going down. He reminds Rod that the cops are looking for him, so be careful.

Brat doesn't want to stay in. She and Alberto argue and she breaks up with him. She's pretty fine with it. He just got in the way and know she has her single Rodrigo.

Al thinks about Irene and also pouts like a b!tch.

Irene and Tad make up. He just wants to find their daughter. He wants to give her that happiness so she'll have a good memory of him. Seriously, Irene. He's dropping boulder-sized hints.

After El leaves, Gino begins telling her how pretty she is. She thinks to herself that she doubts she can marry Gino. Lupita breaks up the conversation and they all get down to dinner. Lupta tells about the fat lady and the clown at the circus. I don't pay close attention, but judging from Gino's reaction Lupita's circus story borrows heavily from Gino's life story.

Rodrigo comes home to Brat's apartment and he's drunk. She behaves like a shrew and he calls her on her jealous wife act. When he finds out she broke up with Alberto, he tells her to make up with him. Brat's not too happy with that idea.

The nurses on Diego watch both leave the room and he gets out of bed. Diego's Escape. Part Duex.

Nat is gonna pay!

Is it just me, or did things seem a little slow? Or am I just too used to two hours?

Thank you for that super quick and funny recap, Sara!

No. It was not just you. It was slow and my mind was really wandering, but thanks you to, I filled in the blanks!! :))

Fatima

This really made me laugh: "Gino whines alone about the web page and fighting with Paolo. He should have told his son the truth from the beginning. Clearly he's upset that with such a public display, he will be easily found (like his wardrobe isn't already a beacon in the darkest night.)"

Fatima

"(like his wardrobe isn't already a beacon in the darkest night.)"

Hey, I picked the same quote as Fatima. No surprise there. I have to say though, that I do love Gino's outrageous outfits and his outrageous version of Italian. I'm really enjoying this character. And I also like the actress who is playing his "sedutta y abandonata" wife. (I'm sure that's wrong...I don't know Italian) I think it's going to be great to see these two get together (much better than Brat and Rod!)

Other favorite phrase:

"dropping boulder size hints."

Amen. Now I can stress over whether Tad finds out his daughter is Nat before he meets his Maker. And good thing those hints are boulder-sized since evidently this change in health was edited out of our CliffNotes version of the story.

We are getting huge problems with Univision. Still dickering with nice people in other countries who aren't helping at all with our problem. But we DO have nice chats about the weather in their country etc. So I'll watch this sometime over the weekend on HuluPlus.

Thanks for the recap Sara. I always enjoy your sense of humor and your funny asides. Wish you were my Spanish teacher. Bet that you're great at what you do!

Thanks ladies! I didn't mean to imply I don't like Gino's suits. I do. They are definitely not of the low profile variety though!

Cunchetina is being played by the same actress that played Natasha on CI. I like her much more here.

Sorry you are still having issues, Judy and thank you for your kind words!

Sara: Excellent recap. "Diego ugly cries", "(like his wardrobe isn't already a beacon in the darkest night), "Tad pouts like a b!tch" and "Seriously, Irene. He's dropping boulder-sized hints" were among my many favorites.

Surprisingly, I liked Gino's lavendar suit. I am sure they are moving him closer to an exit so perhaps he can leave with his ex...

Enjoyed Carmen and El's smoochies.

I also hope Tad, Irene and Nat will be able to enjoy a brief time together as a family. Unfortnately, Tad is right - Irene will never look at him the way she does Al...

I hope Rod takes Grumps to Hades with him.

Agree with you and Fatima, that last night was rather slow but the hour ended too quickly for me. I really enjoy this show.

Thanks Sara!

Diana

I agree, Diana. It's a very good show and I'm enjoying it. It's a travesty what Uni had done with its edits.

Tadeo is getting on my nerves with his whiny attitude. He KNOWS that Irene isn't in love with him and that she IS in love with Al and he knew all this before they got married. He was so kind and understanding, supposedly only wanted to take care of her and be there for her and now he's acting like the immature, jealous jerk that Alonso was being which caused Irene to not want to deal with him and turn to Tad in the first place. Idiot!

I want the Cunchetina crew to stick around for a while. More of them & less of the Crabettes. Mainly for Paolo's sake, because Gino genuinely wants to be a dad for Paolo. Lupita was just a means to an end for Chato.

I guess Irene will soon be Irene, vuida of Vargas. That means she'll likely inherit Tad's fortune. I betcha Grumps will come smiling up in her face to snatch that $ when he finds out.

Grumps' punishment should be be like JJ Mondragon's in La Fuerza Del Destino: to be rejected by his family and left alone. After Rod goes to jail/dies, of course.

Brat's punishment should be like Yago's in AMOR BRAVIO: to be too jealous/prideful to come back to the family and ultimately end up alone. Maybe she should go to France and find her daddy & stay there.

Anon1217-Tad did show his whiny butt last night. One of my least favorite TN cliches is the "I just want to be with you I don't care that you don't love me wait I do care and now I'm going to be an azz".

Anon12:31-I like the Cunchetina crew as well. Very entertaining and I really like the Lurch-like butler/driver.

Hi, Sara,

Enjoyed your recap as always. Loved your comment on Gino's clothes.

I am confused: is Gino still married or not? Before it seemed like he was not, but last night it seemed like he was.

There isn't a place low enough in hell for Grumps. I hope he and Rod share the same awful fate.

Rod is sure a piece of work. I can't wait until the full story comes out about him and he is totally exposed for the amoral person that he is.

Thanks again, Sara for your wonderful recap.

David

Thanks Sara after the two hour marathons I got up once and it was over. "even bleach won't get rid of the stains on her soul" is right in my wheelhouse.

I too like the actress playing Gino's wife and recognized her from CI and agree so much better here.

Nat - stop your sniveling, get out of the house and stop humping the bear

Lupita - I nearly weep seeing you and El together

Angela - glad a romance is in your cards

Brigitte - no one calls me but me

Tad - seriously, she don't know what she wants

Irene - stop seeing that boy

Grumps - enabler

El - friendzone for how long?

Alberto - celebrate your lucky day

Gino - El is a hard act to follow

Carmen - how much farther into the alphabet before we get to El

Hot Rod - why is everybody always picking on me

The driver, go-fer is the same actor as Trino in El señor de los cielos.
Neither cast list gives his name, so we don't know who the actor is.
Trino is Aurelio Casillas' double, but it wouldn't fool me.

Gracias, Sara! Last night did both feel slow and too short. I wonder if they did a 2:1 or not. My DVR recorded the hour, as scheduled, but the episode started late and ran late. I guess I'm going to have to be more careful while they're doing World Cup coverage.

I totally got a kick out of your remark re: Gino's suits. They're fun, but no, not low profile at all! It made for a very nice picture to have Gino, Carmen, and El all standing together against the pink walls.

Lupita being picked up by El and smooching his face repeatedly...what a lucky, lucky girl :D Also lucky for being one of the few characters with enough brain cells to rub together.

tofie...I love the "Charlie Brown" reference for Rodrigo :D He's just begging to get caught, hanging out in bars, getting drunk..."Yeah, Grumps, I'll be discreet, no problem!"

JudyB...they did seem to have cut out the part where Tad wasn't reeeeeally cured, only mostly cured. Oh, well. I guess that leaves the door open to not only find Nat, but to find her when she donates something life-saving to him.

David...Gino's still married. He's been lying to everyone that Cunchetina divorced him and broke his heart, which is his reason for refusing to go back to Sicily.

Diva...do you think Tad's life is going to be saved? I mean, I like the idea of Natalia's connection being found out that way. And I certainly don't want the character to die. But alas, he is INCONVENIENT. And for that reason, needs to expire sweetly and dramatically, with a lot of tender sobbing all 'round, so Irena and that toad Alonso can get married. No? And possibly raise that child of Karina's( because of course she WILL get pregnant after one night of nookie) and noble telenovela characters always take on other people's wild oats. [Not a spoiler, just a prediction from a somewhat cynical telenovela watcher]

I had Uni on, so I was able to see the beginning and I went ahead and set up to record Robo just in case.

David said: "There isn't a place low enough in hell for Grumps. I hope he and Rod share the same awful fate."

I worry that Grumps will die and the truth about who really inherited the company will be known ONLY to Rod. Or worse, they collude to make Rod appear to be the sole heir and he wreaks havoc that way.

But I don't think there will be time for that, so ignore my conjecture.

Kat, I loved Gino and Carmen's color coordination as well!

Oy vey, JudyB! I had sort of forgotten on purpose the night of nookie. But then, we will get to even see that considering the slice and dice they are doing on this show?

JudyB. "that toad Alonso" excellent description and what in heck could Irene ever see in that guy. I don't see why Karina has anything to do with him either.

Nothing was edited much to my surprise. We're up to ep113.

Thanks JoseAngel! I hope we're done with major edits. Somehow I doubt it though :(

JudyB, we picked the same fave lines!! I agree. No surprise there. :))

Also agree with you and tofie that Alonso is a "toad". He is Mr. Toad!

Fatima

Thanks Sara, Your recap was more delightful than the episode but at least we got Grumps and Roderigo back to their bastardo selves. Natalia is being irritatingly blind about Diego but looks like they are all in for another romp in the swamp with weapons and threats. I complain but still I can't wait for this TN every time.
I think Tad just went into remission and they are being overly optimistic that he could be so deathly ill then suddenly have no disease. I am glad Ireni will get a big inheritance out of it so she can tell Grumps to shove it.

While Grumps is distasteful I get one cause chaffing his groin.

His adoptive daughter and the worthless grandsons dumb & dumber could not feed themselves in the real world.

You have D&D spoiled rotten entitled clowns clambering to bed the same girl that couldn't balance a checkbook and her source of income is to daydream, doodle, play dress up dolls & power lunch & cry, at Grumps company. Show me the money.

Irene, what a total disappointment unable to stand on your own two feet. Ole daddy O, bitches you out for being a professional drinker and gutter snipe, giving you a job and place to lay your head but when that gets too hot run to a terminally ill ex, shack up, marry the dude and twiddle your thumbs waiting for him to die so all the rewards of his success can land in your lap and you can hop back in the sack with toad boy. What a role model for us girls.

Mrs. 5ft, Thanks for clearing up Gino's marital status for me.

Cheryl, nice to see you here!

David

I love the recap, thank you Sara.

Tofie, baata ya of your negative characterizations. You're amusing to a point but at times go too far. Ex: I don't see Irene as the selfish, mean coldhearted, manipulating drunkard you described. Calm down, this is a novela. Not a self esteem role model site.

Diego was actually running the business quite well without Grumps until Rod came back and started stealing from the company. He and Irene don't need Grumps to run Irene's mother/Diego's grandma's company, which is rightfully theirs!

Just trying to give Grumps some love.

Tofie--do you think Gramps aka Grumps is "redeemable"? I remember one recent scene where Natalia spontaneously kissed him on the cheek, and after she moved on, his face softened and he touched the spot tenderly where she had kissed him. That gave me the feeling that on his deathbed...because let's face it...with all this heart trouble, it's on the way...he'll be reconciled with all his family and recognize his errors.

Yeah, okay...ever the optimist. Soñar no cuesta nada.

Hmmm. Grumps' redeemability. Interesting question.

Pro
He did seem pretty touched by Nat's kiss.

He has been the caregiver for the twins since they became orphans (and I get the impression that that happened early in their lives.)

He does seem to have a genuine soft spot for Rod and that is based in his thinking that Rod is weak (and therefore more in need of protection.) This one is double edged, though. Yeah, the weak need protection, but somehow Grumps' "protection" turned Rod into a demon.

Cons
He's probably lying to the kids about their inheritance.

The things he's said to Irene have been terrible. And I'll even give him a pass on the "you're a drunk" comments (tough love/intervention maybe?) But I CANNOT forgive his comments about how he should never have adopted Irene. Those are just cruel.

His soft spot for Rod has blinded him to Rod's evil.

I'm not good with lists so maybe Anon207 or tofie could add.

Grumps also seemed to grudgingly enjoy the dance with Carmen at the engagement party. if anyone can melt that old heart of stone, it is Carmen's family. I think that Grumps will be redeemed. I do not think pickle puss Brat will. She seems to have no redeeming qualities and does not seem to care for anyone but her cranky self. What a crab apple.

I definitely think Grumps' redemption (if there is one) will be on his deathbed.

My only misgiving with Brat is how it would affect Carmen if something should happen to Brat.

I disagree that Grumps ever "gave" Irene anything. She's been struggling under the weight of her depression, alcoholism, AND his abuse for years. She and Diego were prepared to make a go of it with Eskenda on their own--and it was starting to look like they could have done it, even without Tad's money. If they came back to Caprico, that was less about them needing to do it to survive and more about Grumps' need to control them. He may call it "family unity" but...I don't think that means what he thinks it means! Grumps has been as bad to Irene as Mara's mother has been to her. Just because he never laid a hand on her and all the scars are internal doesn't mean what he's been doing to her isn't "real" abuse. Can he be redeemed? Not if redemption requires recognizing, admitting to, apologizing for, and trying to make right every terrible thing he's done. I can't imagine him doing that. He might finally own up to all the crap he did, but if he stays true to form, he'll say it was for their own good.

Re: Tad. Early on in this show, when it felt like they were trying to do things a little differently and not be so predictable, I would have said that there was a good chance Tad would live, be reunited with Natalia, and have a good relationship with Irene even if they weren't "together." Now, it's harder to say. I don't know if my opinion is being tainted by the massive edits or if it really is going to that safe, predictable, "let's just stick with the same old crap" space where he can only live if it means he's still married to Irene, but not if the writers intend for her to end up with Alonso.

Don't think Grumps can be redeemed and the soft spots are just humanity leaking through but he zips up quick. He has one view of the world and expects everyone to toe the line and be grateful to do it. What bothers me is everyone's willingness despite his abuse to hang around and not truly strike out on their own and tell him to cram it. Maybe on his deathbed he has a moment of clarity but to do what would be necessary to right wrongs is just too demeaning for him. Now he could start by telling Irene about Nat's history but instead he is going all out to put Nat under the jail to clean up a little mess his grandbabies made. If it is inconvenient and doesn't fit his world view or somewhat embarrassing, squash it.

Sara,

Thanks so much for wrapping up the week in style for us.

I'm very doubtful of Grump's redemption, and if it happens it will be just as he's about to kick the bucket. If learning that Rod was trying to murder Diego didn't make him rethink some things, I don't know what will.

Tad for me is an enigma and not sure to dislike or like him. Irene was so tore up over the guy at the beginning (he sprouting devil horns and all) and now she is married to him and admittedly was jealous (though not romantic jealously) of others that may be taking space in his attention queue. I do think he is trying to right the wrong perpetrated long ago but will run out of time, know Nat is his child and conveniently die. Irene gets to move back to the dorm with toad boy for our happily ever after.

"I don't know if my opinion is being tainted by the massive edits"

I had the same thoughts.

Tad and Irene didn't marry in the church. Doesn't that mean they could just get divorced? Tad doesn't necessarily have to die, does he?

"Irene gets to move back to the dorm with toad boy for our happily ever after."

HA!

How could I forget Grumps' biggest sins?!

He knows Natalia is Irene's child.

This wouldn't even be an issue if he hadn't imprisoned Irene during her pregnancy.

Thank goodness for these little heart to heart talks we get to have after each episode. I just learned one big secret that I had missed with all my wandering around this spring. Ireni is not Grumps blood relation. And here I have been worrying all alone that there would be hell to pay for incest when all the stories came out but Diego and Natalia can't be related, is that right?? When did you all get the 411 about Ireni's background? Now Grumps cruelty to her is all the more disgusting (not that being his real daughter would be any kind of an excuse) but poor little orphaned Ireni. I hope she ends up with lots of money either with or from Tad and also a fair share from Grumpus immanis...

We found out pretty quickly about Irene being adopted. Within the first week or two. It's one of the things Grumps likes to throw in her face, "I never should have let Amalia adopt you."

Completely off-topic and useless comment that shows my ignorance:

I had no idea that Maradona's full name was Diego Armando Maradona. Nepo from QPob really did want his son to play soccer!

I definitely think Grumps will be redeemed & be soooooo sorry for all the pain he caused, same with Brat.
Her dad is yet to come so maybe he can instill some sense in her. Karina, I doubt she will suffer anything major.
I still like Alonso the wimp, am I the only one, remember how you all thought he was so great in the beginning? How fickle you are!!!!!

Lol...I don't dislike Alonso, but he's not at the top of my list of good partners for Irene. I'm still rooting for a bottle of mineral water.

I don't like the idea of her with Tad due to the lack of romantic feelings between them...I was ok with it when that seemed to be by mutual agreement, but now Tad's unsatisfied with it and that's not going to lead to anything good.

Alonso is problematic for me due to the breaches of professional ethics and drugging Karina, and his stunningly poor judgment in dealing with Karina even before that, but he's still edging Tad out by a nose.

I still do not understand why Irene and Tad suddenly got married seemingly out of the blue. did I miss something ? HA..Ipad decided to change Tad to "a tad." It's like having an overbearing friend who is always correcting you.

Nope, Susanlynn, you didn't miss a thing. They were in Poza Rica, asking around at the orphanages and stopped for lunch and Tad said something like "I want to give you the security and respect I think you need. Let's get married." That was pretty much it. Nobody talked about love...or nookie! I don't even think they share a bedroom.

Sara, speaking of telenovela-futbol crossovers (see, it was topical!) Univision posted a meme of Victoria Ruffo, tears streaming down her face, with the caption "Please, Virgen, let El Tri win today!"

If not for Mr. 5ft, I wouldn't have gotten the Maradona reference :)

Oh I have to see that meme!

http://losangeles.univision.com/pasaporte-al-mundial/los-fans/mementos/slideshow/2014-06-13/memes-del-partido-mexico-vs-camerun?refPath=/univisionarizona/

It's in that slideshow, number 8

Ha! And that was a scene from TdA I think. I can't be sure because I'm pretty sure in every Vic Ruffo TN she cries in a church.

Some of those were hysterical! I loved Chicharito Gump!

5FT, you've made some excellent points re Grumps and The Toad formerly known as Alonso.

My biggest gripe with The Toad is his lack of professionalism and that "relationship" with Karina. He has not come off as being very believable as a doctor (or whatever it is he is).

Fatima

I still like Alonso. I hate the way he dealt with Latina, but last we saw, they seemed to have made peace with each other. But on the whole, I think he's been good for Irene and helped get her to a much mire stable place.

Oh, and I like Tad too, and think he did a good job owning up to his mistakes in the past and has become a good friend to Irene. It's a shame that she no longer has romantic feelings for him, and I hope he accepts that soon.

Alonso's a psychiatrist. The only ones I've ever known personally worked in community mental health, where they were so overbooked that they rarely had time for a lunch break, let alone just randomly running out of the office during the day!

Thanks for a terrific recap Sara. I finally got caught up after those 2 hr sessions.

5ft said "Alonso is problematic for me due to the breaches of professional ethics and drugging Karina, and his stunningly poor judgment in dealing with Karina even before that ....

ITA. One of the first things that struck me as unethical was the "therapeutic shower". Recall when he got in the shower with her to sober her up. Even though they both were fully clothed, body contact was necessary for support.

Although I like him as a good guy, he's no match for Irene. He needs to marry and have a family. Also, I wish he'd lose that perpetual hurt puppy expression.

Foxy and 5ft..I completely agree. I am especially tired of the "hurt puppy expression." Bow wow.

I just realized that my tablet changed Karina to Latina. LOL!

Hah! Fortunately I think we all knew what you meant, Vivi.

I came across a quote in one of my notebooks this morning that made me think of Grumps and his eventual (perhaps) redemption.

"When death, the great reconciler has come, it is never our tenderness we repent, but our severity."

Words to live by--we'll see if he can manage it.

Cheryl, how wonderful to see dear Willa again. I am loving the ode to Pasion! Willa is a fashionista indeed.

So glad you are here - I always enjoy hearing what you have to "say". Sorry that you didn't have the background on Irene quicker! "Now Grumps cruelty to her is all the more disgusting (not that being his real daughter would be any kind of an excuse) but poor little orphaned Ireni". ITA.

Diana

Oh Joy!! Rapture!! I'm FINALLY caught up with the eps. Now that we're back to one hour, I'm going to start watching real time.

Susannlynn: this totally cracked me up: "HA..Ipad decided to change Tad to 'a tad.' It's like having an overbearing friend who is always correcting you. "

Or a mother or a teacher!

AAAARGH!!! I am a dummy. I just realized tomorrow is a Tuesday. My daughter is flying in from L.A. tomorrow night. (Her first visit since Thanksgiving!)

I won't be able to recap tomorrow (I don't know what I was thinking.)
