Ay! If I saw the preview correctly, Sal is gonna take having the hots to a whole new level tomorrow night. Not the ending I envisioned for such a good guy.

So is it Hugo through Sophia or Simona's fantasies about Rafa that rat Blanca out?

Maybe it is the grey hair and false teeth that make a pouting teenager so unattractive, but I really can't stand Simona.

And while you're no saint, Adriano, you finally got to parent your "hijo" of the moment.

I knew this was gonna happen. Raq. threw her own son under the bus to keep Eduardo from meeting his father.

I'm ready for this novela to end. I'm feeling impatient for the payback. Jail and death are too good for Raq. I liked the creative solution the writers had in La Patrona. Here's hoping they declare her insane.
 

Can't comment on the preview but agree there are no lengths Raq won't sink to. Chris has now turned into a self pitying whiner like Jorge and Ramon. Interesting that he is a accusing Adriano of all the lies Raq fed him.

Adriano didn't look convinced that Chris was his and oh why didn't they all of get tested ASAP.

Simona is utterly selfish. They are in this mess because of her and she knows it. Sal bless his heart is an idiot leaving his phone around for Hugo to find. He should spend more time making sure they are safe and less pressuring Blanca.

Have to laugh at ambitious Mariana actually thinking she and Raq were going to be equal partners, I think she just realized she is nothing more than a hIred gun to the woman.
 

I've become so cynical watching this TN and don't believe one thing that was said or happened last night. Well, except the fact Sal is a sad sap and Hugo makes Sofia happy.

Adriano didn't look thrilled about Chris and showed more enthusiasm when he thought it Rafa.

Melania - mother of the year

Sal - sick of seeing your dopy grin

Jorge - what are you crying about

Blanca - lackluster

Mariana - why not pop a cap in Raquel

Simona - agree it's not a happening place

Ed - the volcano is rumbling but not a care in the world

 

I, too, am so ready to reach the end. The story is being strong out so that we are only get 20-maybe 30 minutes of real story.

Adriano is beaten down. I am pretty sure he senses Raq "threw her son under the bus" that is why the DNA test.

Sal's character has changed from a confident, knowledge man to acting like a teenager.

What was with the aqua marine jacket Ed was wearing?

Malania-not much of a mother. Hope you can make amends with your daughter but not likely.

All Sal is now is a dumb dog so happy to have Blanca around he wets the floor. He'll be out one day romping, see Blanca across the road and dart into traffic and off to doggie heaven.

so IF, Chris is the son of Adriano and Raq, the dna test passes,
and Raq slides again concealing Ed as Adriano and Val's true son,

I still think Adriano the father of her own child the reason Ed is Raquel's favorite. Chris could be Adriano's and Vals and why he was so hated. Unless we get a long drawn out test or Raquel changes the results again.
 

Too late for her to change the results with only 13 episodes to go. One thing you have to say about her she remains consistent. She is not going to let Val and Adriano know who their son is so why not toss her own first born under the bus. He will always be a disappointment to her because he is not Adriano's. I am going to go down to the wire that it will be oblivious Ed.

In his defense he did try to reason with Chris who was having a meltdown. Chris remains true to himself, wildly accusing Adriano of abandoning him, driving his mother loco and even tossing in suicide. He knows nothing of the real story and doesn't deserve a parent who would really care for him. Pass the tequila.

I for one and maybe here the only one who will miss this novela. The story constantly moves ahead with no side trips and no repetition the two things that drive me BSC with Televisa. I do wish Lisette had a little life to her but I ignore her for the most part and focus on the others.

The replacement doesn't grab me at all from the previews, looks like another age disparity between the leads and amnesia, drugs yawn for shame.
 

I'm with you, tofie. I just don't believe a thing Raq says.

Decie-I'm intrigued by the replacement for this (Reina de Corazones)... but partly because I am SO DONE with Televisa/Univision. I'm willing to watch anything as long as it's under 130 episodes.

 

Contrary to how I sound I do like this one, it has some good characters and they have thrown me some curves I didn't expect. (like the last one Raquel killing Ivan when & how she did) I also have imagined what it could have been had Blanca been portrayed as the feisty but streetwise young woman by someone else, anyone else. Sebastian too, not much in the personality department but perhaps he is supposed to play dumb and clueless.

What I am struggling with is the constant boohooing by all the boys and the blind mooning over the girls reminds me more of 7th graders than young adult men.

It is a change to see the boys boohooing instead of the girls all the time. I don't think the boys have much inner strength to deal with things not going their way primarily because Raq has spoiled them even Chris who she apparently dislikes. Ed has pretty much drifted though life unscathed while Jorge lives in his own world. The only one who seems to have faced any unpleasantness is Chris. That is yet another reason I think Ed is the son because he needs a real wake up call to how life is.

There is a ten month difference between Chris and Ed. Adriano had left town before Val's pregnancy was discovered — not much chance of two sons since Raq qould have thrown that in Val's face years ago.

Blanca didn't tell Ed his mother is blackmailing her into leaving. Ed goes with the flow which drives me BSC. Adriano wants all three boys tested and they were going to be until Raq threw Chris under the bus. When that lie is discovered via the DNA test the others will be tested.

These boys really love their mother perhaps because they don't have a father (she conveniently got rid of him). I'll be curious to see how they react when that truth is revealed. Bye bye mama beyoch. They will treat her like Letty did Melania last night.
 

Decie Girl, thanks for bringing up how Leticia reacted to her mother last night. I suppose a big mother-daughter reconciliation still could happen, but I don't think Melania deserves anything from her daughter but scorn.

So, even if my child DID murder someone and was in there for life, I'd still visit him as often as they'd let me.

I felt like punching her in the face when she said that her daughter had been with a married man (Raquel's husband) and that's why she stopped even thinking about her.

It might yet be proven that Letty didn't even have an affair with Juan Carlos, but Raquel framed the affair and the murder.
 

I sill don't believe that Chris is the son. There has been no hint or clue at all so it comes out of the blue. Neither Adriano or Val seemed too thrilled about it either.

Oh crap the ultimate cliche Blanca gets pregnant.

I've been turned off of Sal from the time he forced Blanca to leave Val when she had been shot, then his constant pressure on her to love him was too much but to force her into a car and drag her away while her siblings were burning to death was the end for me. I don't caee if he becomes another one of Raq's victims.

I wonder if Simona and Hugo are dead or if Simona who was bored took Hugo somewhere before the fire while Sal was lying around drunk.

Mariana is now one scared chick while Raq is running around ordering more people killed. Adriano and Rafa can't find her so i wonder if he split and left Sofia behind again.

 

Don't see how Raqweasel will ever get one tenth back in retribution unless her darling Ed urinates on her as she takes her dying breath. Even Ivan didn't want to kill Hugo.

If Simona and especiqlly Hugo ae dead that is a shocker although novelas aren't reluctant to kill of children.
 

Yeah, that's just crazy. I mean, I'm not going to feel too horrible about it though. Not like when Marimar's grandparents died in that fire in the shack by the beach. I cried over that one.
 

I always knew that little boy Hugo was nothing more than a burden to deal with, and he got himself and the sister killed by not following Blanca's orders. And Sofia is at fault, too. She doesn't shut up about anything.
 

Actually Sofia did keep quiet about a couple of things when Mariana told her not to tell her father anything, it was just between mother and daughter. Primarily it was all the stuff that happened on the arms run. But she does blab everything Hugo says but I have to remind myself they are after all only eight and none of the adults areound either of them tells them why they should not blab.
 

I was amazed they went with Simona and Hugo burning up. Maybe whoever posted that Simona took Hugo out for a walk or something will prove true. Killing off an innocent child? Wow!

In any case, Blanca's decision to give up her vengeance is off the table and I suspect she'll be 24/7 on getting Raquel.
 

I don't think the kids can process a text or quick phone call results in death.

Blanca just needs to tell Raquel she is pregnant with Ed's child and she will be fine. Blanca spent most of this TN with barely a thought about Simona & Hugo so she can brush it off easily enough. I think the reason she tried so hard to get into the house is she lost her blond wig.

Now Rafa will be mad Simona is toast but Sofia will find another playmate.

Amazes me that both Ed & Jorge are just oblivious to the looming tsunami.

 

I don't get how Ed can remain so oblivious, he's right in the house while Jorge flits back and forth in the barrio. Considering that Raq had her own sister under go electric shock maybe both the boys got a dose or two as well, because they sure act like it.

Oh yeah Blanca's revenge will really be unleashed, her whole family murdered. I'd go BSC and pull the trigger myself.

How horrifing for a child to lose a friend in such a horrific way. I wonder how Ed will find a way to tell her.
 

OK. I'm watching Tuesday's episode and I'm really confused. Sal was ON FIRE wasn't he? How the heck survive that? I know he grabbed a blanket and I guess I'm supposed to adjust my beanie and believe he put himself out but.... Just no.

Also. I'm pretty sure that in one shot he was dragging a mannequin. Lol.
 

Wow, Raquel seems to have all her bases covered. It seems that Melania, and Cristobal might be the only ones that can bring her down if they spill the right information. If Simona and Hugo had survived, wouldn't we have seen them by now?

Eduardo and Jorge are idiots. The whole world around them have pointed out that they are blind to what their mom is capable of, and yeah, maybe one or two people can be dismissed as vindictive. But no matter what they hear, what lies are uncovered, how many people scream in their ears about Raquel's evilness, they just refuse to believe it.

I do tend to think that Cristobal belongs to Valentina and Adriano, but also that Eduardo is Raquel and Adriano's kid. Jorge might be the only one that belongs to Juan Carlos.
 

I was thinking the same thing a couple of months ago. That Eduardo could be Adriano's son with Raquel since she crawled into Adriano's bed one night and at the time I was thinking Ramon could be his son with Valentina. So Adriano may have two sons instead of one. Maybe that's why she's always so kind to Eduardo because he's the only part of Adriano Raquel will ever have. And if Cristobal is really Adriano and Valentina's son, it would explain why she's so hateful to him most of the time. But, then again, wouldn't have Raquel rubbed it in Valentina's face that Adriano is the father of Eduardo just so she could say she's had her man?

I still refuse to believe in the two sons theory and I also refuse to believe that Chris is The One. Throughout the story Raq has constantly said that Adriano and Val will NEVER know who their son is so why after Adriano says that one of the three is his does she immediately capitulate and tell Chris is is you. Also there seems to be no connection being made between Chris and Adriano and all Chris does is takes shots at Raq as a way of getting back at her for her treatment of him

Also Blanca has always maintained she would never have anything to do the son of the woman who killed her father. I would imagine that the killing of her siblings would just add to that. Frankly if someone killed my family I wouldn't have anything to do with him even if he was the love of my life.

Raq is certainly resourceful, she has used Ivan's death to blackmail three people. Blanca gets blackmailed to get out of town by the picture of dead ivan in bed, Mariana gets outed by the picture of her "shooting" Ivan and now Katrina is being blackmailed to dump Jorge by the picture of Rafa burying Ivan. Not too many people left for her to use that one on.

Ed finally gets it. Mariana is a killer but typically doesn't believe her, the great liar, when she tells him she didn't kill Ivan it was his mother. Wake up boy a giant anvil is headed your way.

With only 10 to go it is time for Raq's downfall to begin, perhaps the letters Melanie gave Adriano will do the trick.
 

Chris is Adriano's son the DNA test proved it unless Raquel changed that one too.

Now if there is a second son it could be Ed her favorite, a love child. I don't think Raquel killing Blanca's family will keep she and Ed apart, especially with his baby cooking in the oven.

Raquel is isolated from everyone but Jorge, Ed and her goon squad but she continues to play well thought out hands. It is hard for me to believe the whole town wouldn't light up their torches, storm the palace and cut off her head as Ed & Jorge continue to suckle. Way to convenient for the police to go after Mariana.

I don't believe the DNA test. The Chris as son makes no sense but you never know. The two sons also makes no sense since why if she already had one of Adriano's sons - Ed - would she adopt Chris who was Val's. Ed is the oldest and you'd think Raq would really wsnt Val's kid dumped in an orphange.
 

I don't want to believe the DNA test but it said positive and at least with Rafa we saw the switcheroo, this one not. Guess with the positive the other boys didn't test. I just can't imagine why, if Ed is Val and Adriano's, he would be her favorite. I get if she was the mother and Adriano the father. It would have been better had she dumped the kid in an orphanage but she is twisted enough to want daily to see the product of the union and kick it occasionally or it could have been a compromise she made with Leo. Don't know but unless they are waiting until the last 30 minutes and spring it on us, that is not enough time to have yet another DNA test to confirm.
 

I'm finding the whole Chris is the missing hijo so anticlimactic, so I'm still not fully convinced.
 

Chris should move in with Adriano and leave the house unless he is there to keep an eye on Val but even he seems lukewarm over the whole thing. Adriano just has a whatever attitude focusing only on Blanca. I really don't care about anything or anyone other than to know how Raquel will be undone. Who's your daddy, don't care. Val wake up, don't care. The boys pairing off with whichever twit, don't care.

Perhaps that is the intent, and the TN is really about Raquel and feel silly I missed it. I admit I love her sarcastic remarks to everyone, some very clever, and her ability to give em dagger eyes and a little head bobble and they whip in line.

 

I too am disappointed in the Chris as son thing if it stands. Adriano and Val are basically nice people Chris is not a nice person, so it seems unfair that the two who have suffered so much should end up with this snotty ingrate.

I also think Adriano's focus on Blanca is that he feels guilty for the bad things that have happened to her although most of them he brought on herself.

Thelma, good observation and it makes her look like she's right out of a silent movie horror flick. That's where I've seen her, the acting style, the posturing and her stare.

That is an interesting thought that Mariana saved Hugo and Simona but i'm not buying it. She was missing at the time but since then she ha been on the run. It goes against her personality. I'm thinking that all that weird business with phones and the computer are just to set up Mariana. Sofia wonders about Hugo and the chat but there is no real proof it was him. A lot of stuff last night was odd.

Ed still can't open his mind to the horror that is his mother, if she really is.

Chris and his two moms - odd. He obviously relates to Raq and not to Val and for her part Val seems to be having problems with him as well. Apparently she doesn't feel the famous call of the blood when it involves him.

Jorge is going to go into Rulli mode any moment, sobbing, quivering lips and the girl gone with wind.

Unbelievable. With everything he knows about his mother, he STILL doesn't grow a pair and agrees to participate in a trap where Sofía will be subjected to seeing her mother at best grabbed up by the cops and at worst gunned down by Raquel's assassin guy. The very same guy who SMILED at the sight of (he thought) four people burning up alive inside a locked house.

Could Raquel be even more despicable? Last night her stone heart didn't mind a bit telling her granddaughter that her mother murdered her little friend.
 

Raq has now reached Guerra levels of despicable behavior. She does it all in the name of her family - God help us all. Then again in the first episode she had Sofia's puppy killed so we should have known that the death of a child would mean nothing to her.

I'm watching it now. She just found out that Hugo is alive, and NO EMOTION. That's how you act when you find out your siblings are really not dead? Jesus Christ, she's a horrible actress. Remind me never to watch anything with her again.

So murdering Mariana saves Hugo and Simona because she couldn't let Sofia's friend die. Who'd have thunk it. And asking Blanca of all people to watch over her if anything happened. That's more than foreshadowing, it's what we've said from the beginning, she has to die for Ed and Blanca to be happy together and to pay for her crimes.

Blanca may be denying she is pregnant because it is just too much for her to handle at the moment, why would she want to tell Mariana and maybe she isn't. In any event it just sets up a scene or three of Ed flipping out about her being with Sal thanks to Sofia mentioning that Hugo said Sal and Blanca were getting married.

I still refuse to believe that Chris is Adriano's even after the father and son conversation. Raq telling her henchman she was Chris' only true mother may be another lie but with her who knows.

So Ed refuses to believe that Blanca is a murderer but believes all the other crimes attributed to her. Idiot.

Interesting we now know that Juan Carlos was in love with Letty. No wonder Raq went BSC cause that would make him another traitor and we know how she handles that.
 

So we inch toward a conclusion.

Blanca pees on a stick but won't tell the results

Mariana saved Hugo & Simona, spoon feeds Blanca who takes notes during an overnight cram session on international arms trafficking and insist Blanca raise Sofia should something happen to her because she is the bestest woman in the world.

Ed gets butthurt Salvador may be Blancas babydaddy while playing cops & robbers

Chris gets a father son about loose hot girls not being wife material

Rafa fooled around & fell in love

Jorge whines to his mama about his wedding being canceled

Raquel taunts Val some more (best part of the show)

Oh, I lost it when the police commander and Ed showed the photos of Blanca donning many disguises and in each the same blank face & vacant stare.

 

Thanks for the reminder, I didn't quite catch Mariana's lines about the gun running. I know she gave Blanca the name, but how is that going to take Raq down?
 

Mariana said the only way to get evidence to take her down will be the gun running and guess she thinks Blanca will be able to come up with something if she understands how Raquel Inc works but thought it best to use the asian woman, who was second only to Ivan, to assist. I laugh everytime Blanca starts her note taking with her fat pencil with one flat side so it won't roll off her desk.
 

I keep waiting for Val to get fed up with the daily torture and just stand up grab the nearest heavy object and clock Raq. It may still happen but i'm beginning to lose hope.

Did laugh at the look on Tita and Katrina faces when Rafa out of the blue annunces he wa in love with Simona.

I don't know why she is just siting there. She was fine when she and Blanca made their getaway. She pointed a gun at Raq and defied her. Then she gets shot and it's like all the spirit went out of her. I just hope she is biding her time but we only have 9 episodes to go.
 

And I will be glued to the screen for the next 9 episodes. I find myself choosing to watch this over DQTQTQ. I still like DQ, but you can't beat the pacing of ultimas semanas ;-)

You can't beat the pacing of Telemundo over Televisa any time. They keep them short and fast moving. La Patrona which was very popular only ran 107 episodes. If it were Televisa they would still be introducing new characters and rehashing the past.
 

The body count is quite high in La Impostora and anyone is eligible for mishap. I learned something with this one though. I thought it was about La Impostora (Blanca) but it is really the story of Raquel (likely because of Christian Bach's star power). If I go back and view it from that perspective it is a much better show. However, I think CB is bizarre when she has these tourette flashes of overacting.

I've always kind of looked at it as Adriano and Val's story but wish we could have seen more of Val who even in her zombie state is more animated and interesting in Blanca.

The body count is high but it isn't even close to that in LP whee the Bach character killed her husband, one of her sons, her great grandchild, a grandchild (both unborn) among all the various and sundry others she offed.
 

DecieG, thought it would become Adriano & Vals story and was hopeful when she escaped on her own and started coming out of her fog but that rug was jerked out from under me when Raquel nabbed her again and she has been catatonic since. Hard for her to kick some butt and take names in her state. Adriano hasn't effectively done a thing so far. He's tried but nothing has been successful.

I don't give a hoot nor a holler about anything more than how Raquel finally goes down.
