Mi Corazón es Tuyo Lunes 9/29/14 #51

Enrique is turning out to be the master manipulator with Fanny. By calling her a "fresa" and "daddy's little girl" and if nothing else "not a woman of the world"' he is goading her into proving him wrong. Unfortunately, she is just immature enough to view it as a challenge and try to prove him wrong. That scene just gave me the creeps.
It was also interesting that Diego ended the previous scene with saying that tonight was all about "couples". Then they cut directly to Enrique and Fanny at the restaurant so the viewer had no doubts about where this is headed. Yuk!
Nico/Jennifer, Nando/Ximena were a hoot in their amorous adventures.
Isabella is into physical aggression again this time with coffee. Ana though just had to make that comment . . .
What fun!

One comment re: Friday's episode--Ana was saying that one of her few memories of her mother was of her singing. Then poof--cut to a scene of Yolanda singing by the side of the pool. Now, maybe coincidence, but also maybe be portent of things to come. The writers have their own little sense of irony.
The scene of Ana listening to Diego give love advice to Nando was awfully sweet, her expression so tender. What a shame those two don't seem fated to end up together.
Nando and Ximena, on the other hand, still seem wrong. Maybe it's like Enrique was trying to explain, diamonds and water don't mix (o semejante cosa).

I am having the most difficulty with Enrique's obvious dishonorable intentions toward Fanny. Does this series have any of the same writers as PSMA?
Isabela might think herself beautiful but her behavior is so ugly,” said Aphrodite. “I don't see how any man could fall in love with her.”
“Only with divine intervention,” said Eros.
“She doesn't get that he's so not that into her.”
“Fernando looks a little confused,” said Hermes.
“He's better off for that,” said Eros.
“I finally found out what 'naca' means,” said Hera.
btw, what Fernando was noticing in Ana was that Ana blushed while listening to Diego's advice to Nando... so Fernando commented that her face was red-ish... and Ana did not want to reveal the convo that was going on at the library so she diverted him with the Sebas issue.
I also ITA with you, UA, about the Reeky and Fanny storyline... UGH!!!
Denise, I too heard that line with Jenn and Nico and was LOL!!
When Ana has not given him some advice/tutoring into how to do it, seems Fernando has one and only one way to enforce discipline... yelling at his kids... he will have to learn to catch himself doing it before he changes strategy. Yelling just doesn't work.
I fear that Ximena and Nando are headed to disaster, but it was a sweet encounter and the two of them have perfect smiles. Nico and Jenny . . . we'll see but they certainly have their senses of humor intact. Bruno was quite cute as the galan tonight.
But Enrique and Fanny, please no. Seeing Leon and Fanny's reaction to him will only increase Enrique's resolve to conquer Fanny.
Ana needs to leave the mansion and establish occasional contact with the kids. This has been said again and again but she is in such a no-win situation that getting out of there is the only solution. Isabela has been beyond redemption for some time and now seems to be headed for complete evil.
Yes, he's confusing her and playing her and it certainly didn't help that he met the down-trodden Leon. Could just see his wheels turning as he watched her reaction. He makes me sick, and of course Lisardo can just plays these roles with absolute relish. I just pray they don't go there with him and Fanny.
So shoot me, but honestly, I didn't blame Fer for coming down on the twins and even at stopping the language spouting from Seba. I get it, they don't like Isa. Kids can pick up a phoney, but they also need to learn the boundaries of respect to an adult. And though it sickens us because we know the real Isabitch, even they don't and neither does Fer. I guess I'm just not a fan of kids pulling pranks on people because they don't like them only. Just doesn't come off as funny to me and only paints them as out of control.
As for Seba, ok he's hurting, but same applies. Maybe instead of just humoring him, Fer should have pulled the ear phones off and said, no I think we really need to talk. Somehow I think that was a plot ploy to separate them and of course we will be treated to another round of Seba dancing...and lord help us he gets in trouble. Because of course, Ana will be blamed.
Loved the Nando/Diego moment. Love Nando went to his uncle. Guess dear old dad is not exactly role model material where women are concerned right now, so the poor kid wasn't going to ask his advice. I have to stop loving the Diego character so much.
I didn't really get into either of the lovebird moments once they got going. Jen/Nico started amusing, then it was "whatever" and I just don't like Nando and Ximena. My Ick factor went up with them last night. But thank the heavens the boy got protection.
Can Johny get a new job that takes him away for awhile...like a long while.
The hot coffee--Oh.No.She.Didn't! Ana needs to move out NOW. Nanny only when needed.

So many wonderful lines but "Isabela might think herself beautiful but her behavior is so ugly,” said Aphrodite. “I don't see how any man could fall in love with her.” “Only with divine intervention,” said Eros. “And not mine this time”
were among my favorites.
"Diego talked about being amorous, loving, and willing to please. He is not to force anything and allow everything to come naturally". Diego expressed these sentiments beautifully. I think Nando took them to heart...
Urban, I did have a question on the comedy act where the man was congratulating Johnny. You noted "Doroteo was watching with a grin". I thought Doroteo looked very angry. He obviously loathes Johnny and feel he would do everything within his power to keep Johnny down. Did I misinterpret that?
Sebas is the next hot spot needing to be dealt with.
Along with you and others, I shudder at Enrique and Fanny. I can't imagine how on earth he plans to entice her into a relationship. There is nothing sweet or endearing about him, let alone the slightest bit of attraction. He must plan on some master manipulation. At this point, I'm recanting and think maybe she is better off with Leon. Did I just actually say that??
Urban, this was marvelous.

As for Ana, there is only so much one person can do when her authority over the children is limited. Also with 5 kids to watch (Nando and Fanny are not an issue here) and only one pair each of eyes and ears there are bound to be situations that are unavoidable.
Fernando has wimped out badly on parenting his kids so far. He needs to step up. If he permits Isabruja to discipline his children they're done for. He should give Ana more authority over them. She has treated them like her own and they love her, so they would be likely to accept discipline from her. Thus far she has only been called on to enforce Fernando's directives about it (such as taking away computers, toys, etc), but not to initiate it.
It would be better for Ana to leave, but she most likely won't leave the children defenseless against Isabruja.
Sebas running away will cause a major upheaval. Isabruja will blame Ana, of course, and also question her morals because of the apparent romance between her and Diego.
The quince is also coming up soon, so it will be interesting to see what disgusting humiliation she has planned for Alicia. That is, if Sebas going missing doesn't cause it to be canceled.
Glad Nico and Nando braved the farmacia and that Nando got some actually useful counseling from Diego. I'm still not a huge fan of Ximeana. As badly as Leon treated Fanny, what Ximena did to Nerdando was on the same level, yet she is forgiven?
Although I would have loved if Fanny and Leon had made up and made out right there in the restaurant in front of Encreepy. He is evil and I don't want him getting his claws in sweet naive Fanny! I also wish she would have pointed out that they'd get the work done faster if they ordered in food instead of going out and if he quit trying to play wise maestro and lecturing her about business stuff she doesn't care about.
I don't think the kids need to respect Isa, AT ALL, because she doesn't deserve it and I don't believe in forcing anyone to believe someone is their superior just because they are older. However, I do think they need to be taught to be the better people and use better manners. They might even be convinced to go for that strategy: PROVE that they are better people than Isa by acting better. You don't need to respect someone to be polite to them.
What was that Land of Misfit Toys that Bruno took the figurine to? Why was he cagey about where he had been? Is this some sort of secret room? What's he doing with the toys?
“You're not supposed to boink mortals,” said Poseidon.
The only hook ups that should go down is Bruno's and Manuela's and a left hook to Isabela's chin.
I'm not buying the Nic & Jen show and while I like them both, as a couple, just no.
Nando & Ximena, I get he is enamored but she looks like a she wolf ready to devour bambi.
I seems the last bit of resistance by Ana evaporated after overhearing what she would expect from Diego as a lover and result in a hook up but Isabela spoiled that with a hot cup of coffee. She intends to disfigure Ana. How in the world does she get out of this or Ana not just leave? If Fernando won't accept it happened, Diego will.
I'm afraid Icky Ricky will use Fanny up and the writers will go there. This one really makes me ill.
I once read that a comedian laughing at his own jokes was a no-no. Johnny does that all the time.
Diana: I agree. I don't think Doro was happy about Johnny getting attention from the Televisa guy.
I think Nando and Xi were sweet. I'm in the minority, but I like them together. I don't think they're destined to be together at the end, however, because of her problem. Briana will be more mature by then and probably a better match.
Isa throwing hot coffee on Ana was criminal. That's assault. I'm also one who hopes they aren't making her into a Veronica (PEAM) clone.

I'll bet any amount of money that if they had left Enrique's natural hair color, Fanny would have treated him more like Nick than even dad and would have been revolted at the idea of doing anything with him voluntarily.
I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that he's going to force himself on her.
Why would Reeky need to do this, he had Isabela at hello.
Somebody better run Ana to the hospital the scalding coffee will likely scar.
When Fer eventually finds out, he'll probably bluster a lot and then spinelessly do nothing and give Reeky a promotion and bonus. But I hope Ana and Diego will go all Old Testament on Frique's slimy hide.
Hey, maybe Enfrique will fall in love with Ana, too, and then Isa will find out and then she will murder him and spare Fanny and the rest of us from having to stand in line on the Orient Express.
My gut was telling me that Doroteo is looking to set Johnny up for the same level of humiliation that Isabully is planning for Alicia and Ana. He's a sadistic bastard who loves watching other people suffer.
Just like Isabitch.
I am hoping that Diego will come charging out of his room to Ana's rescue and realize what Isabitch did.
When Diego takes Ana home from the hospital it should be to his apartment and when she is well enough head straight to an attorney and sue Fernando's pants off since his wife hasn't got a penny.
When is Fernando getting the wedding bills? Those should make him see red.
I'm actually going to start rooting for Leon again now that he's seen Fanny with this guy. Deep down, he probably wants to win her back and if that means becoming a pest and still making her want him too, I'm all for it. Anything to keep Tall, Tanned and Dyed away from her.

OT a little, BTW--for Cristian de la Fuente fans and a reunion of Amor Bravio (minus Silvia) actors, Quiero Amarte began this week. We're not too far into it. It's on Univision at 3 pm (the daytime death slot).
CdlF has already been shirtless.
Melinama has provided us with a link for discussions on the sidebar (just below Telemundo y Mas).
Anyone with recording capabilities should be able to catch a couple of episodes. "Tio Leoncio" is now "Daniel's" father, an upstanding, straight-arrow guy mooning over a lost love. (Alex Sirvent "Rafael" is now young Mauro.)
I hope you will all join me from time to time.
Kudos to Nico for taking Nando on the condom shopping spree! Did he really buy four boxes?!? Wow, Nando thinks very positively!!
Yep, I still want Ana and Diego to stay together. Frankly, I would prefer they leave town and travel the world, visiting Nico and the kids every couple of months. They could even take one of the children with them on their ventures every now and then.
Scalding Ana with coffee cannot compare to substituting blue hair dye for Isa's shampoo. How will Fernan-duh scold Isabruja? She should at least have her credit card taken away!
I think the coffee was hot. I thought I saw steam coming off the coffee when they were talking.
And kids' paint is water-soluble. The twins are past finger-painting age but Luz isn't.
That coffee was scalding; I checked for the steam.
I was hoping that Isa's hair would at least be stained blue for a few days. That would be funny.
