La Malquerida, capitulo 26. 09/29/14. Stalkers aka crazies are circling.
Skipping the old....
Acacia comes back from her trip to see Ulises. Cris wants to know what happened. Acacia believes Ulises is with another. Elena asks why she thinks that. Acacia babbles that Ulises took a long time with that girl over dinner last night and today they were laughing and carrying on. Cris tries to explain to this immature child that all this doesn't mean anything. Acacia tells Cris to talk to Esteban, he saw everything.
Danilo is at the hacienda talking to Esteban. Esteban reminds Danilo that the association is a serious organization.
Ale asks for Luisa. She wants to eat lunch with her. Rosa tells her to eat with the family and stop coming in through the servants entrance. She's a visitor but Ale feels comfortable with the way things are. Rosa leaves and El Rubio comes in. Ale wants to know why he was in her room. A man came looking for Esteban and I wanted you to know. Ale says it doesn't matter. If he does it again, she will tell Esteban.
Danilo is leaving and comes across Cris. He gets introduced to Elena and they talk a bit as she shows him out. Cris wants to know what happened with Ulises. Surprise! Surprise! Esteban bad mouths Ulises and wants to know Acacia's whereabouts. He finds out she's at the river.
Perla cries to Memo that Danilo found la turquoisa. She asks him to help her. He needs to forget about her.
Esteban has followed Acacia to the river. El Rubio walks up behind him and makes a comment to him about his.....well stalker tenancies. For that he gets a sucker punch to the face and for good measure a few kicks to the body. Esteban has to take his frustrations out and El Rubio was the lucky one. Esteban tells El Rubio to quit being stupid but El Rubio only comments on what he sees. Esteban who has no concern that Acacia could overhear, tells El Rubio that he has tried to forget her. Word of advice, quit following the chick. It only makes you lust after her more and more seeing her in a itsy teeny weeny bikini. Unfortunately not a polka dot bikini. As any stalker would say it's the victims fault. Everything was find before she arrived, but now I see her and thoughts of Cris fly out.
Nuria invites Ulises to join her for lunch but he declines. Are you trying to avoid me asks Nuria. (Um, yeah. Any man that got him in trouble usually avoids the one that put him in the doghouse). Because your girlfriend got mad? She feels bad and wants to help. He prefers to keep things professional which pisses off Nuria and she stomps off. Hernan, the construction manager, asks Ulises when will they be able to put the first stone up for the building. Ulises wants to invite some important people to view it. Ulises pulls out his cellphone and looks at a picture of him and Acacia. He tells Hernan he has something important to do and will be back later. (that would be kissing your immature, jealous girlfriend’s butt?)
Esteban says he can't do anything about his feelings for Acacia. He has to stay strong. El Rubio suggests it's probably better if Acacia left again to live with her grandparents but Esteban disagrees. El Rubio says he will watch Esteban's back so that he doesn't do anything stupid. After all Acacia has her boyfriend. Esteban confidently says that relationship is going to end. They are fighting and I doubt they will reconcile. He doesn't deserve her. And you do asks El Rubio. He hasn't learned his lesson and gets shoved up against a tree. You idiot yells Esteban. There can be nothing between us. I just will not allow that guy to hurt her.
Perla cries to Memo about Danilo's obsession. She's probably back at the house since she hasn't called. Memo asks if she is talking about Ale. No, of course not replies Perla. I was referring to the maid. I think he already found Ale. Perla begs him to call Danilo to find out. Say you and I are working at finding girls. You don't need to ask him about her since he will probably tell you. (Yeah, I see he and Danilo are BFF's). Memo doesn't want to upset Danilo since he is paying him well. Perla, the expert in seducing, tries convincing him by rubbing his hand with hers and then rubbing her leg. This young guy has no experience in fighting off such seductive behavior and looks like he's relenting.
Danilo comes home and rifles through some papers for Ale's picture. You must be the one in the painting. Finally...I found you. This time you will not escape me. He gets a call from Memo and he wants to talk business. He invites him to the bar to talk. Danilo is on his way. Perla wants him to find out information for her and thanks him for being a good friend by giving him a couple of kisses. Memo I think might be in love.
Ulises comes to the hacienda looking for Acacia. Rosa tells him she's at the river.
Esteban is still drooling and watching Acacia. El Rubio says that Esteban will find a solution to his problem as always. The patrona loves you and the patroncita cares for you. The last thing she will think is that you are after her. I'm not after her replies Esteban. She just wakes up passion....I just need to be a man and resist. El Rubio thinks that Esteban needs to let her be with her boyfriend. Perhaps he'll marry her and take her away from here. Esteban again says Ulises is not for her. Suddenly Ulises appears. Esteban and El Rubio sit back and watch. Ulises tries talking to Acacia, but she just runs off. He follows and Esteban tells El Rubio to leave. Ulises tries to talk to Acacia, but she just spits out stupid things. How she suspects there is more between him and Nuria. Ulises comments on her immature behavior and how her little tantrum is getting on his nerves. (Mine too). He asks for her confidence. At his job, he will have to interact with other sexes. I may even have to travel with them. All Acacia heard was that he will be going away with Nuria. No, but it could happen replies Ulises. Your jealousy is ridiculous. It's like me getting jealous because your always with Esteban. (well, you should at least be concerned but then again who ever thinks that step daddy is lusting after your woman aka his stepdaughter). By the way Esteban is peeking around a tree and no one sees him.
Acacia tells Ulises that things are different with Esteban. He is her mother's husband and you know I hated him. But now he has gained by love and respect. I understand replies Ulises. He is a gentleman who has done nothing but care and support you. If you want our relationship to work, you must understand that I need to work with Nuria and perhaps other women. Acacia admits she can't stand to see him with another women. Because I love you. Ulises loves her to and just wants to be with her. He has shown her this. Acacia doesn't know if she can stand knowing he is working with Nuria. Ulises points out his own jealousy over Manuel. But he has confidence in her. I understand how you feel about him. I love you but if you don't have confidence in me, this will never work. Acacia is still undecided. Ulises invites her to the ground breaking ceremony for his project. Nuria will be there. If you don't show up, then I know you no longer want to be with me. Esteban....still watching. Guess he has no work to do today.
Ale is cooking in the kitchen and Luisa doesn't throw a fit. Luisa is happy that El Rubio didn't pick her up today. When he does, he takes his time getting back and talks non-stop. Ale asks if she found out why El Rubio was looking for her earlier in her room. Luisa admits her suspicions were wrong. He really did have a message for you. Ale says she made it clear to El Rubio to never enter her room again. Luisa wanted to tell her all this earlier but since Ale doesn't have a cellphone wasn't able to. She suggests she buy herself one. Hernan says the same but I don't need one replies Ale. Luisa says you never know when there might be an emergency. Did you find out anything about Manuel? Rosa walks in and needs help serving the meal.
Esteban comes out of hiding and tells Acacia he was looking for her. It's time for lunch. Are you still worried about Ulises? He just left replies Acacia. We argued again over that girl again. He's said he's not interested in her but I don't know. I shouldn't interfere but no one should make you suffer replies Esteban. You are a beautiful, strong woman. Any man would want you (and one happens to be looking at you kid). Esteban says no man will respect you if you don't respect yourself. Acacia says Ulises swears there is nothing going on with that girl. Do you believe him asks Esteban. Are you getting back together? I don't know replies Acacia.
Cris tells Elena that she believes Acacia is acting jealous over the whole Ulises/Nuria situation. Elena says that Esteban said he saw inappropriate behavior. Cris understands but believes nothing would look appropriate to him since he doesn't like Ulises. Up walks Juan Carlos and Ale. She is telling him and everyone else, that she will eat in the kitchen with Luisa so that they can be with family. Cris reminds her that she is family. Juan Carlos and Elena remind her that they care for her greatly. Ale says she feels the same about them. I have never felt so loved or protected before. Esteban and Acacia walk up. Elena tells Acacia that she already had a misunderstanding with Ulises and wants her to make a decision calmly. (this is just the kind of conversation I want to have at the lunch table with my grandparents).
Luisa is cooking tortillas when El Rubio comes into the kitchen baring a gift. He hides it in the chair and greets Luisa. She wants to know where he got the bruise. Handling cattle is his reply. Luisa thinks a girl hit him for making a pass at her. El Rubio reminds her he only cares for her. So that you won't be jealous of Ale or any other woman, I brought you a gift. He asks her to open it but she declines the gift. If she accepted it, then he would think he has rights over her. And that will never happen. He insists she take it and shoves it in her arms. Rosa comes in yelling that Luisa is burning the tortillas. She takes El Rubio by the ear and shoves him out of the kitchen. (kinda felt bad for Rubio. But just a little).
Acacia says after lunch she wants to visit Manuel. Cris wants to go with but Acacia wants to go alone. Cris warns her to that Manuel still care for her and doesn't want her to complicate things. Juan Carlos asks Esteban if he talked to Ulises about the re-building project. Esteban thinks they should release Ulises from his offer. I don't think it's a good idea to mix business with personal. Cris says she already told Ulises to go ahead. Esteban doesn't think its a good idea considering everything going on with her daughter. It's up to you weather he keeps the job or not he asks Acacia.
Memo and Danilo talk business. The military are looking around. We have to be careful. So Perla came to you with her complaints asks Danilo. He warns Memo to mind his own beeswax. Memo is just concerned. It's 20 years in prison for what we are doing.
Esteban tells Acacia to make up her mind. The bodega must be built quickly. Cris says to give her a couple of days to decide. Juan Carlos tells Acacia that it doesn't matter if Ulises builds it or himself. Just that she's okay. Esteban says he just wants to avoid an uncomfortable situation for her. Acacia doesn't see a problem with Ulises re-building the bodega. As you said Esteban, we need to separate our personal relationship versus our professional one. If he has agreed to head the project, then our situation has nothing to do with it. Cris thinks Acacia made a good decision. Let's just see how things go. Juan Carlos says they have to hit the road but is leaving with a happy heart. He sees that they are finally becoming a family.
El Rubio comes back into the kitchen, sits down and puts his feet on the table. Which angers Rosa who shoves them off. She notices the gift and asks if it's for her. El Rubio tells her to open it and Rosa sees what I believe to be a shirt but it's really a dress. He asks her to convince Luisa to accept it. She would never allow my granddaughter to wear this (who would), and it would be unacceptable for her to accept it. Rosa advises him to take it back and buy something for himself. El Rubio reminds her that she agreed to help him if she saw he was serious about Luisa. Of course I remember replies Rosa. Even though she broke up with Manuel she still cares for him. So stop wasting your time and money on her.
Luisa asks Ale is Manuel read her letter yet. Ale says he has it but is too depressed right now. She asks Acacia to talk to him. German aka big sexy tells Acacia that Manuel only wants to see her. He apologizes to Luisa but she understands. All she can do for him is pray and she runs off. German offers to take her to Manuel. Acacia goes off to change. Big sexy feels bad but Ale thinks it's best she forget about her romantic dreams. He tells her that her friend Perla came looking for her. He wants to know who she is.
Memo and Danilo keep talking business. Danilo had to find on his own, people to harvest the crop. Turns out his cousin, El Rubio, has 2 faces. Memo says he is a guy you can trust. Fine replies Danilo. I will hold you responsible or it's your life.
Ale says that Perla is not exactly her friend. Just a salesgirl who was to let me know when a dress arrived. I will call her. Big sexy advises her to broaden her circle of friends. Acacia comes up dressed and asks Ale if she is coming. Ale declines.
Perla is about to burn the picture of Ale when she gets a call. Ale wants to know what Perla wants. Perla says it's important and they need to meet.
Danilo sends Memo off to check on the crop. Memo wants him to check out the new girl they got. Danilo prefers to go to the Beneviente. Memo convinces him to go check out the girl first.
Manuel is lying in bed and in walks Acacia. He's upset that she left and didn't say goodbye. Acacia reminds him that her mother explained it was an urgent business trip. Cris told me you didn't want to be with me this way. I did replies Acacia. Why would I want to be here with your attitude? I want to recoup my friend Manolo back. My happy full of life friend who makes me laugh. Not the one that wants me to feel guilty for an accident I had nothing to do with. I will be with you because you promised to take care of yourself. But if you want to make everyone suffer and refuse surgery then forget it. It hurts me but I will respect your decision. She turns to leave Manuel begs her to stay. He wants to talk. About your surgery asks Acacia. Who should we tell first?
Ulises finds out from Carmen that she and Andres are back on. He invites her to the ground breaking ceremony. She talks of Acacia being there to put in the first stone. Ulises says nothing.
Juan Carlos and Elena are saying their goodbyes but Juan Carlos suddenly feels dizzy. Esteban decides to call the doctor against Juan Carlos wishes.
Ulises explains his plans and up walks Acacia. She tells him that she was acting a fool and loves him. She will be there for the ground breaking ceremony. They smooch.
Cris and Elena talk about Juan Carlos. Cris prefers they have a driver but Elena points out that he wont' accept. More complaining about how stubborn Juan Carlos is. Conversation changes to Acacia. Cris is happy about Acacia made an adult decision. Elena knows that Ulises is not cheating on Acacia and realizes just how jealous she really is. Ulises already told me their plans to spend the rest of their lives together. Turns out she delivered some news that Cris didn't know about and Esteban overheard. Cris asks if they have talked of marriage as Esteban rolls on up. What did you say he asks Elena.
Acacia realizes her error. They smooch. Nuria walks up and Acacia greets her. She says she will leave them to it but Ulises asks her to join him for lunch. Nuria not so happy.
Perla walks into a church and does not immediately burst into flames. She could have put on a better shirt. She is walking into the Lord's house. Anyway, she asks Ale why did she want to meet here? Because it's more safe replies Ale. Perla advises her to leave. Danilo knows she' around. If he finds her, he will kill her.
Esteban wants to know what Elena is trying to say? That Ulises and Acacia want to get married? Elena thought that Acacia already spoke to them about her feelings. Cris says Acacia never told her a word. Elena tries to make excuses. Esteban says how can they be serious when they constantly break up and then get back together. (I just remember the one time, Este. Man, you are reaching for straws). He tells Cris to talk to Acacia. Cris thinks Ulises is a good man. No one sacrifices their life for another if they didn't care about the person. Esteban doesn't want to hear it. He thinks she is too young. He points to Elena and tells her to make Cris see reason. He storms off.
Ale asks if Perla told Danilo that she was here. Of course not replies Perla. Someone called him on his cell and told him where to find you. Ale begs Perla to come with her to denounce him. Perla tells her she's crazy. I will not end of in jail paying for all your stupidity. Perla brings up again Ale stealing the merchandise. Ale says she just wanted to leave. He had been exploiting her for years. Perla says the goons almost killed Danilo for losing the merchandise and took away his business. He was left with nothing. So don't waste your time and leave. Ale can't believe Danilo has found her.
Manana: Esteban tells El Rubio he can't stand to know that Acacia is with another man; He warns Ulises off.

I am leaving for vacation so I will not be able to recap Friday. Where I am going there will be no TV and hardly any reception. So I will have to catch up when I return on Sunday. If anyone would like to recap Friday, please let Mads know.

Esteban was at his worst tonight. Thank goodness for Cris and Elena talking sense to Acacia. I also applauded when Ulises pointed out to Acacia that she was acting like a child having a tantrum. Everything he said to her was spot on, actually. And he made things very clear to Nuria.
Esteban, Rubio, and Danilo, all let their crazy obsessions with these three young women take over this episode. And Rubio is all too willing to help Dan and Este with their obsessions. The three of them should get together over tequilas and bond. Blech!
Memo is an interesting character. Despicable in so many ways, but with a real soft spot for Perla. Between Perla and his cousin Rubio, he's going to end up on Dan's bad side eventually. Peels is also going to be in a LOT of trouble if Dan finds out she knew where Turquesa was and tried to block/stall his efforts to find her.

My heart is sinking with each passing moment. "Ale can't believe Danilo has found her". Really Ale? Perla found you easily enough, whatever made you feel you could hide in plain sight forever??
Ale must run to Cris and Esteban as fast as her legs will carry her. I fear though that she will choose flight rather than fight. She has so much support if she would only tell the truth - and the entire sordid, traumatizing truth. German will be crushed but time will tell if their relationship is strong enough to survive Ale's tragic past.
Vivi, yes Este, Rubio and Danilo are crazily obsessed. "The three of them should get together over tequilas and bond. Blech!" I agree. I am just wondering if we should invite Memo to the party? He's not yet totally obsessed, but clearly on his way.

Ulises is certainly one of the few acting like an adult here. And Este's behavior is alarming as his anger is palpable but really coming out of the blue. By the concerned expressions on their faces, it appeared Cris and Elena are finally starting to notice. Will Este's tirade appear to be simply that of a concerned stepfather? I have my doubts.

I am continuously struck by what decent/nice, down-to-earth people Cris and her parents Elena and Juan Carlos are. How did Acacia turn into such a brat? She definitely has a good/kind heart, and I credit Cris and the Abuelos with that. But she has such a huge jealous/selfish streak too (that Este is willing to exploit if it means creating distance between her and Uli). German, Uli, and Arturo also seem like just good, down-to-earth folks. Maybe all these folks should have a meeting of the minds to try to figure out what the heck is going on with the crazy people they love. Carmen and Andres are counted among these people too, but who knows how the Juliana situation will affect them eventually. Either or both of them might show an ugly side.
I loved Elena’s outfit this episode. Wardrobe really does know how to dress the older ladies in this show. I like Juliana’s new, more relaxed style. I’m surprised no one has mentioned it to her, but I guess they are all focused on Manuel.

I admired Elena's outfit as well! And I can't remember who mentioned Cris' wardrobe, but it's fabulous as well.

Este Este Este ay he is obsessed with Acacia so much so he can't control himself. Yes, Cris and Elena looked concerned. I think instead of becoming amantes Este will become a fatal attraction kind of guy, a stalking, menacing and scheming, jealous maniac. I see nothing but trouble for Uli from him. Would he go as far as getting rid of him? Noberto already said he will make Uli disappear so Manuel can be with Acacia. By the way, I think they will make Acacia and Manuel a couple.

Wow...the creep factor is escalating. DamDan is super creepy in his obsession for recapturing Ale. When he smarms and grovels around the good folks, he is especially creepy.
Then, there is creepy peeping Tom Este and his constant shadow creepy Rubio. Why does Este put up with an employee who follows him around and makes comments about his activities. Is he afraid that Rubio will tattletale to Chris about Este's stalking of Acacia or possibly even blackmail Este ? I almost laughed when Este was spying on Acacia from behind that tree and suddenly there was Rubio right behind him.... too funny. It is nice of Rubio to offer Este a swig of his bottle...QTH ??? Drinking Buds ??? Also, I have to put my beanie on to believe that Acacia has never noticed that she has an audience of two whenever she is down by the river.
Wow...the creep factor is escalating. DamDan is super creepy in his obsession for recapturing Ale. When he smarms and grovels around the good folks, he is especially creepy.
Then, there is creepy peeping Tom Este and his constant shadow creepy Rubio. Why does Este put up with an employee who follows him around and makes comments about his activities. Is he afraid that Rubio will tattletale to Chris about Este's stalking of Acacia or possibly even blackmail Este ? I almost laughed when Este was spying on Acacia from behind that tree and suddenly there was Rubio right behind him.... too funny. It is nice of Rubio to offer Este a swig of his bottle...QTH ??? Drinking Buds ??? Also, I have to put my beanie on to believe that Acacia has never noticed that she has an audience of two whenever she is down by the river.

Susanlynn- Acacia is so self-absorbed that I doubt she would notice much else. :)
I think fear of exposure to Cris is EXACTLY why Este puts up with Rubio. I think he also finds some sort of release in confiding in someone his pervy feelings, and also taking it out on someone by beating and berating Rubio. He's really beating and berating himself for his perv thoughts and feelings.
