La Malquerida, capitulo 41. 10/20/14
Skipping the old....
(Some recording is lost so some things may not make sense. Fill in what I missed).
Ale walks into Olga's apartment and comes face to face with Danilo. She runs out yelling for help and trying to leave the rooftop. Danilo grabs her a puts a knife to her face. She yells at Olga for betraying her. Olga ties her up with some cord as Danilo keeps threatening her with the knife.
Nuria finds out from Hernan the contractor that Ulises is not around. She gets to work on falsifying documents.
Danilo tells Ale that he will be looking for German to kill him. (recording lost).
Nuria has another interested buyer. (recording lost).
Danilo tells a tied up Ale that he is going to leave her there with no food or water. So she can die like a dog. Ale begs him to let her go. Isn't it enough all that you did to me? (some more recording lost). Ale can't believe that Olga betrayed her and calls her trash. Olga said she had to do it because her life has become unbearable.
Manuel yells at Juliana. Because of her, he looked like an idiot in front of Acacia. He went to try and impress her. Then Ulises showed up and kissed her in front of him. Telling me that Acacia will never be mine. Juliana tells him that she and his father didn't know. She asks him to accompany her to El Soto to see his brother. Manuel doesn't want to go knowing that his brother is living with Ulises. German should have told me that Acacia got back together with Ulises. So don't even tell him “hi” from me.
Danilo asks if Ale will now behave. Will you now accept to live by my side? Never yells Ale. I will never feel anything for you but hate. Danilo warns her about what she's saying. I can cut your face in half. He takes the knife and puts it on her forehead which cuts her a bit. Olga calls out to Danilo and reminds him she did what he asked. Are you going to give me what I deserve? Of course he replies, kisses her and throws her off the rooftop. (recording lost).
Cris and Esteban ask Rubio if he found out any information about strangers hanging around. Rubio says he asked around but no one has seen anything. The only stranger around was Danilo and he's an honorable man who grows cotton and bought computers for the school. Cris wants Rubio and the workers to keep circulating the poster of Ale. Esteban thinks they are doing all they can. The police will not start looking for her until the 48 hours are up. Cris hopes someone will see her. Until then, she will continue giving classes. They have to continue their lives until they hear something.
Ale cries as Danilo unties her legs. She sees a dead Olga and tries to keep from vomiting. Ale can't believe what he did. She deserved it replies Danilo. First she betrays me, then does the same to you. Ale calls him crazy. Danilo says it goes to show you how I repay you for betraying me. He says it's time to go. No one can see them there. She pulls away from him and calls him a murderer. She attacks him and he slaps her. Calm down he yells. (recording lost).
Carmen and Andres show back up at Ulises house. Arturo greets them and they see German's paintings. Andres really likes the paintings and Carmen comments that Andres spends his free time painting himself. Carmen wonders why some of the paintings are ripped. Because German's father doesn’t' agree with him painting replies Arturo. In comes German with coffee and spots Andres. He greets him and gets introduced to Carmen. She asks how they know each other. (more recording lost).
Rosa tells Luisa do you see why I protect you so? You never know about girls now in days. Ale could have left with another man. Luisa can't believe Rosa is saying such things. Ale is in love with German. I'm just saying replies Rosa. Love makes you stupid. It's strange that from one day to another she leaves everything behind. Luisa says the most important thing is to find her. Rosa says it's time to pray and leaves the kitchen. Luisa wonders if Rubio knows something that he's not telling. Why were you so interested in her? Why are you jealous he asks. Of course not says Luisa. Rubio says he wanted to be in Ale's good graces after she broke the bottle over his head. And that she is Acacia's best friend. She is after all in the same class as Acacia. Luisa says she's not offended by his words. Besides Acacia is her best friend. You are her friend but at the same time her servant replies Rubio. Because in this house, you serve her and her family. Luisa takes a dish towel and hits him with it.
German tells Carmen the first time he met Andres was at the wedding. Then we ran into each other at the hospital in El Soto. German says he will take the paintings (I lost it) and Carmen tells him to leave them there. That way they can enjoy it. Arturo leaves to bring coffee for Carmen and Andres. Andres says he knows that his father doesn't like him painting, but he enjoys his work. He wants to buy two paintings but German points out that the second one is ripped. Andres thinks it adds character and tells a better story.
Ale is lying in bed tied up. She awakes and finds Danilo at the foot of the bed. She asks where she's at and Danilo says where no one will bother us. He shows her the ring and wants her to wear it again. She says he will pay for everything he has done. (more lost recording).
German says he was going to have an exhibit but now everything is lost. He will have to find a job so that he can afford to paint again. Andres said he always wanted to but for one reason or another couldn't. German says if you paint as well as Carmen says you should. German says he can't sell him the ripped painting. It makes him feel bad and as for the others, he wants to save them to show a guy at a galleria. Andres offers to wait until he finishes showing them off first. Andres prefers to pay up front. German says he knows Andres is doing this to help him and he appreciates it. Andres says he's doing it because he really likes the paintings. I do because I really like them says Andres. Everything in like comes back to you. I was fortunate to have people help me when I didn't have anything even to eat. So now it's my turn. German says he will work hard to get ahead. Andres says he reminds him of him when he was younger.
Danilo is kissing and caressing on Ale. He unties her and she tries to leave. He pulls her back as she yells for him to let her go.
German says Andres gave him to much money but Andres thinks that is how much his painting is worth. German tries to give the check back but Andres refuses to accept it. German is appreciative of Andres support and wishes his father felt the same. Carmen tells him not to worry. His father will one day support him. German says he still thinks Andres paid to much and once his exhibit is shown, that Andres choose a third painting. Andres thinks it's a great idea. German has to leave but appreciates everything. Carmen hugs him and asks if there is anything they can do to help with his girlfriend to let them know. German and Andres shake hands.
Esteban is on speaker phone with the buyer that was suppose to get his cotton before it burned up. Cris walks in with Esteban's refreshments and hears the buyer threatening him. Esteban tells him not to worry. He will get his money. He hangs up. Cris asks what the heck the buyer was saying about sending him to jail. (more recording lost). Cris gets onto Esteban for not telling her about that part of the contract. Esteban says he did that so the buyer will lower the debt. Cris doesn't want him to take that risk. We have a lot to pay back. Perhaps we can sell something from the house, or part of our cow sales or I can even get a job. Esteban doesn't think it's a good idea. Cris thinks perhaps they could sell a part of the ranch. Norberto has always been interested. Esteban says Norberto is a good for nothing. He will be the last person I would sell any part of the ranch to. I agree says Cris. I love this ranch but I love you more. Esteban smiles and goes in to for some smooches.
Andres finally has his talk with Carmen's boys. (Acacia is there) He tells them that things are going so well with their mother that he has asked her to marry him.
Esteban thinks that together they can come up with something without having to sell any piece of the ranch to anyone. Cris asks him to swear that he will not take any chances on him going to jail. Remember you must always tell me everything. You know I can't stand any secrets. Even though you don't want to worry me. Esteban says he didn't tell her because he knew that he will be able to handle everything.
Andres asks if the boys have anything to say. Arturo says it's just difficult news to take. He wonders where they are going to live and if he has to leave his home. Andres says he can live with him. Arturo turns it down but Carmen reminds him that he can't manage with all the household expenses by himself. Arturo says they have only been together a short time. Andres doesn't think that time is important epically at his age. He wants to enjoy life with the one that he loves. Carmen shares with the group that even though Andres asked to marry her, she said no. We each live in our own house. (more recording lost).
German and Juliana are at the restaurant and she is glad that his paintings are hanging on the wall. She brings him cash but he refuses. He wants nothing that was his father's. Juliana tells him not to be to proud. German says he doesn't need it and tries showing her the check Andres gave him but gets interrupted by the server. He tells Juliana that he will get ahead on his own with his paintings. Juliana says just because you sold some paintings today doesn't mean everyday will be the same. She can't accept that he is living with Ulises. German says he's really grateful to Ulises. How can you say that asks Juliana. Especially after everything that he did to your brother? What do you mean asks German. For Ulises saving his life? I talk about him returning with Acacia points out Juliana. Your brother is angry about it and also thinks we hid the truth from him. He is suffering him so much. German reminds her that there are more disabled people than him that are very productive in life. Don't baby him because he lost his ability to use his hands. Are you and father going to tolerate everything from him? He will never mature than. Please do not coddle him so much.
Ulises asks Carmen why she turned down Andres. If you love each other so much, you should get married. Don’t you agree Acacia asks Ulises. Acacia thinks this is not a situation that she should comment on. My opinion doesn’t matter. Just what they feel. Arturo thinks they should respect their mothers decision. Andres says he will accept anything that Carmen wants.
Juliana asks German about Ale. How is it that no one knows anything? This is why I have always told you and your brother to find out who you are dating. I asked you to find out about her family and where she came from. I don’t know why she was so reserved. I talked to her one day and all she told me was where she lived once and San Jaciento. What town asks German. I don’t remember says Juliana. German begs her to try and remember.
Ale is in the shower and Danilo goes to join her.
Acacia tells Ulises to think of his brother. You live apart but Arturo will have to accept a stranger living in a house that his father brought for you all. It's true says Ulises. It will be more difficult for him if my mother decides to marry. (more recording lost). I just get that they start smooching.
Andres says he loves Carmen for the woman she is and the mother to her children. I never want to not take care of them even though they are now men. Everything turned out great replies Andres. And we have new paintings says Carmen. They decide to put one painting in her house and the other in his. She thinks German is a great guy. It's sad that his father will not support him. Andres says that German is the son of the woman that left him.
Acacia knows that he has a lot of work. She wants to know everything about it. It appears you get along with everyone. I do replies Ulises. I just don’t want you to feel uncomfortable about Nuria. Don’t worry says Acacia. I prefer that she sees me here with you. I just want you for myself. They smooch and Nuria walks up. She needs him to sign a document for her. Acacia greets Nuria who says it's a miracle you are back here again. Acacia wants to share everything that has to do with Ulises and his project. Nuris says 75% of the locations are already sold. Ulises reminds her to give him the contracts that he needs to look over. (more recording lost). His workers are clapping and saying for them to kiss.
Carmen asks why didn't Andres tell her earlier who German was. I never thought I would see him again replies Andres. I didn't know that he was friends with your son. Carmen wants to know if he is seeing his ex. Of course not replies Andres. She left me when I was poor for a rich patan. (uncivilized). Why do you care who she ended up with asks Carmen. She throws an insecure jealous fit but he tells her to calm down. He swears he didn’t go looking for her. When he went to the hospital for his books, he came across German arguing with his father. His father was about to hit him and he intervened. It was how they came face to face after all these years. I told her that I wanted nothing to do with her. If I help German, it is not because of his mother. He reminds me so much of me. She apologizes for her actions. (recording lost).
Juliana doesn’t know what to do know with his father. She is only with him for Manuel. More recording lost and she says she wants to look for an attorney. German says he supports any decision she makes. She tells him that he has no idea how much she loves him.
Esteban orders for more land to be prepared for planting. Suddenly a dark car pulls up and out pops Hector. Her brings her an embarrassing display for flowers and gets introduced to Esteban, her husband? You got married again asks Hector. Practically 10 years of marriage replies Esteban. Did you not know?
Juliana and German have a mother son moment. She says she loves him and he feels the same way. You will always have my love. I miss you's are said all around. Suddenly Juliana remembers the small town name where Ale grew up. It's (lost recording). Juliana begs him to forget about her but German says she's the love of his life.
Hector apologizes for bringing flowers to his wife. Esteban says you didn't realize she was a married woman. Esteban tells Cris to accept the flowers and Hector promises to bring Esteban some wine on his next visit. Cris asks Esteban not to get upset but he turns around and leaves. Rubio keeps his eyes on the couple.
Back with Ulises and Acacia and all recording is lost.
Esteban, Cris and Hector head to the dining table. Hector says ladies first, but she has to go and give the orders to bring the refreshments. Esteban says he has something to do and leaves. Hector just looks around,.
Cris walks into the kitchen and Rosa makes a comment about the nice flowers the patron gave her. She asks Rosa to bring out water and lemonade to the terrace. Esteban comes in and asks to be left alone with his wife. Cris says they have to talk. Esteban yells at her for not telling Hector that she was married to him! I didn’t do it with bad intentions apologizes Cris. It seems you preferred him thinking you were still a widow yells Esteban. He even brought you flowers. (some lost recording). Esteban says he always give her the rightful place. I try and try to make sure no one will tear them apart. Some more lost recordings. Esteban asks if it shames her for her old friends to know she married a simple peon. Cris reminds him that she has never thought that. On the contrary she is very grateful for the help he has done for her. And I always felt you gave me my rightful place until today says Esteban. He tells her to stay with her friend, he's out.
Manana: possible kiss between Acacia and Esteban.

Gloria- You really captured it all, even with your messed up recording. This was a tough episode to recap, so I thank you.
Since I had an early and long day yesterday I decided to watch this episode online Sunday night. Mistake! It haunted my dreams. Not sure what Uni showed, but it was pretty clear that Danilo is raping Ale repeatedly in that house. Meanwhile, everyone else is flawlessly going about their mundane activities. Manuel's little hissy fit, for example, was extremely frustrating given the hell Ale was going through. I did like German's advice to Julie to stop coddling him.
The only two bits of important info you lost in your recording was Dan saying to Ale that her mom is now the only witness to what happened in the past. So it looks like Dan AND German will soon be taking a trip to Ale's town! And Acacia put up the Ale flyers at the construction site and spoke to the workers about reporting any Ale sightings.

Wow! And Nuria is falsifying Uli's signature on the contracts where she's double selling the plots! She made it seem to the buyer that Uli couldn't be bothered to show up to meet him in person (she never told Uli), but showed the guy that Uli had already signed, and showed him a copy of Uli's license so that he could see that the signatures match. All this means that the buyers will be most angry at him, the unknown, seemingly callous jerk, instead of that nice Nuria, when the crap hits the fan. I hope Uli can get hold of a handwriting expert when that happens!

I sure hope they bring in a psychiatrist for Ale. German's love is a lot, but Ale being captured and raped again by Danilo is too much. Though the brief scenes of Danilo untying and pouncing on Ale and then later a shot of him in the shower were hard to watch, I do wonder if scenes snipped by Univision show Ale's complete devastation or if instead they were just gratuitous violence.
Neither a gruesome death nor life in prison is penalty enough for what Danilo has done to Ale, but I'll take either.

Niecie- The Televisa version was not graphic. I'm not sure if they showed Ale curled up in the shower naked, but you couldn't see anything since she was crouched, trembling in the corner. You could definitely see how utterly devastated she was.

It went by so fast that I had missed it. Ale is going through a living hell right now. She doesn't have the strength that he has so the best thing that she could do is to try to stay calm, gain his confidence and wait for a brief moment when he lets his guard down and then attack. His eyes, his bad knee are the places that he is the most vulnerable.
I have noticed that the pointed tip of DanEvil's knife has been filed or worn down. I have been wondering if the knife just has been used a lot or has the point has been filed down for safety on the set concerns?
Looks like Esteban has an excuse to go after Acacia now. It will be interesting to see where the writers will take us with this new turn of events.

I hope Ale is found soon. That scene of her curled up in the shower and Dan opening the door was creepy. It's devastating that Dan is once again abusing Ale.

Ale is from an impoverished background, her mother is a person with disabilities who sold Ale and Carlitos to Danilo when they were children. I do not know anything on Ale's father - I suspect he passed but am not sure. I believe German is going to try and see her mother to see if she can give any clues as to Ale's whereabouts.

TF, yes there was definitely an Andres/German connection.
How wonderful the prospect of German having a wonderful, loving father would be. I suspect (no spoiler) this will come to light eventually. I don't care what motive Juli has for telling Andres German is his son (wanting him back, which likely won't happen), as long as she tells him.

Right Diana I remember now. Her mother thought that Danilo would help get her a job--not prostitution and help her take care of Carlos. She didn't know that Danilo was actually DanEvil.

Ale's father definitely is dead because recently she prayed to him and Carlitos in heaven, and apologized to her father for dirtying his name with the sexual abuse lie.
I did really watch those early episodes, but it's hard for me to believe that Ale's mom didn't at least suspect in the back of her mind what Dan intended to use Ale for. I have not blamed Ale one bit for not giving that woman one thought since she escaped.

It will be so nice for German and Andres to find out they are son and father. Andres doesn't have any children, and I'm sure he will be super happy to have a child/son, and a good son like German is just a bonus.

Was she desperate to do the right thing for her or for the children? Somehow I'm not convinced she did not have self serving motives. If she entrusted them to someone whom she thought would love them and take care of them would be one thing. But, I think she would have given them to just about anyone for money. What a tragedy it was to Danilo.

Vivi, I guess what bothers me is that Ale's mother sold the children.
Was she desperate to do the right thing for her or for the children? Somehow I'm not convinced she did not have self serving motives. If she entrusted them to someone whom she thought would love them and take care of them would be one thing. But, I think she would have given them to just about anyone for money. What a tragedy it was to Danilo.
