Mi Corazon Es tuyo #62 Martes 14 Oct 2014 Hey Brujas!! how low can you go??

Refritos:

Fernando starts the breakfast flour food fight in the kitchen with the kids and Brianna… Brianna asks Alicia why he changed, Alicia comments that Ana had to do with it. He dumps the whole bowl of dry flour on Alicia’s head… she shakes it off…

That sounds like a really fun kitchen to be in…

Fanny and Laura arrive to visit Ximena, at first she is angry but when she finds out it is them she is really happy… (bipolar for sure!)

Leon and Reina the tricolor hair girl with Mau at the birthday.. he is depressed about Fanny. She confesses her feelings to Leon and kisses him.

Diego with Ana climbing rocks out in the woods somewhere… Ana asks him to give her some TLC… he helps her to the top of the rock, she yells for him to grab her, he grabs her alright and plants a smooch on her for good measure.

Lo Nuevo:

Ana gets a bit fearful, she does not want to drop down the rock on the rope… she starts praying… he asks for a kiss, she offers a slap instead. But she does go down alongside him. He teaches her as they go. Where did you learn to do this? The Himalayas. And then he mentions that a friend did not go down the ‘healthy/safe’ way. Then he metaphors about how people deal with their problems. ‘why di you jump like a toad?’ then she lets go and falls… he yells her name. he comes down. She’s alright. (is anyone getting the déjà-vu from the beginning of Refugio? Phew! Not the same outcome… thank goodness)

Diego cracks up laughing, she is not very appreciative of that. She yells at him to get her down already!

The girls ask Ximena ‘when are you going to leave here?’ ‘ when I stop being dangerous for others’. Seems Ximena has learned a few lessons, like money is not everything. Fanny asks if the meds are working. Ximena does not want to talk about that. Ximena changes subject, how about Leon? Now it is Fanny who does not want to talk about it. What about Reeky? Didn’t you dance with him? Yes but Equis! He is my boss and as old as my dad.. Hello!

Diego asks Ana if she thinks he would have invited her without it being safe. He keeps insisting with the I love yous. With me you will always be safe. She is starting to like this relationship better, gets more into the kisses.

Leon did not appreciate Reina’s kiss. He is totally clueless… Reina gets a bit flustered at his reacting like a teenage virgin kid. Do you need a dictionary? I like you very much. Since we were about 12. Leon breaks the convo up by telling Mau we are leaving.

Laura and Fanny tell Ximena they are worried about her. But seems Laura is not so much, ‘I have a life too, you know?’ Fanny looks at Laura like not approving where this convo is heading now.

At the house, Luz, the boys and Fernando are in ‘battle’ disguise with bandanas and face color to have a water gun battle. They sprinkle all over Alicia and Brianna who are sunbathing. Nando is reading a Stephen Hawking book. He is not into it but waves to Brianna when she calls him.

In the house, YoMama and Isa have discovered the post-hurricane kitchen. They are sickened. Isa tells YoMama Fernando gave the day off to all the staff. YoMama asks her if she will go see Reeky. Isa says he is the only one that will even notice her. Isa tells YoMama to clean (LOL!!!). YoMama finds a pancake whole enough to eat… she blows the dry flour off it (LOL! Must be desperately hungry)

Nico is showing the Malinalco hacienda to Jennifer and introduces her to the staff. One young guy is totally smitten by Jennifer. Nico laughs at Jenn’s comment that ‘rich guys are weird’ since Nico does not come often to such a place of his own. He reminds her he wasn’t always rich. But she repeats that she can’t believe he doesn’t use such a place.

Back at the water gun battle. Now they are about to play volleyball. This time Brianna and Alicia have joined. The boys bounce off the net. Isa and YoMama come outside. Isa comments to her she should be there now, as part of the family. YoMama says you are already in the family, what’s the worry? Isa says its not enough to be happy. Isa yells at Fer that she will go out, he just waves goodbye. She is sad about that.

Nurse comes to give Ximena her meds. Ximena seems sad about having to take meds. Ximena explains to the girls she has clinical depression. She knows it is not something that can be cured easily. Laura is trying to understand her, Ximena says imagine feeling sad all the time and you don’t even know why. Depression is to feel sad without reason. Well, there is a reason. The brain stops creating some substance and the meds help compensate along with therapy. Fanny asks why not continue the treatment. Ximena says she is tired… it is like carrying a stone on your back all the time, without knowing if you ever will be better. Fanny asks why did you send Nando away? Ximena says ‘because I love him, and don’t want to destroy him’.

Reina tries to convince Leon that Fanny is a girl like any other. Leon says he always saw Fanny as a princess, and when she noticed him he could not believe his luck. He is just a messenger living in a vecindad. Reina mocks his talking about it like a fairy tale. As if he is bowing to her majesty Fanny. He is looking at Reina like she is crazy. Reina says that conchinchilla princess does not deserve you. She takes Mau away.

Diego and Ana are having a picnic at the bottom of the rocks. He admires all that she had in the basket. (it does look good, plenty of cheese, cold cuts, olives, sweets) Ana liked the adventure until he sent her flying down. ‘how come you like everything that is dangerous?’ ‘I like thrills… how about we jump on parachutes next time?’ ‘heck no! I’ll stay down here, with my feet planted on the ground!’ ‘how about hand gliding (parapente) as a compromise?’ She asks him about his frequent ‘geographical escapades (fuga geografica)’ he explains that he likes to travel, taking photos of exotic places, strange animals, etc. he has climbed the Everest, has surfed in Australia, has swum with sharks. But that void in his life is gone. Because he has her. (he pulls a flower from the basket) Ana, I love you. (more smooching)

Back to Malinalco… Jenn loves the ballroom… she wants to have a band (banda, a tex mex group?) and a table with lots of food from everywhere… tamales, mole, chicharron, chorizo, longaniza, shredded pork (cochinita pinil), beef, fish and a woman making tortillas by hand… He loves to see her so excited. How about rice pudding instead of cake? Sure!

Diego is taking photos of Ana at the rock. Then she takes of him. Freeze frame! Freeze frame! Etc etc etc (oh oh… you all know who will get his or her hands on this camera, right?)

Isa is arguing with Reeky… she insists to ‘share each other’s problems’. Reeky is mad at himself for having lost his balance… ‘with Fanny’. Isa wants to hear more. “I let myself go with desire, that’s all!”. Oh so there are two who have committed the worst mistake… to fall for scam targets.

Fanny comes to see Fernando in his room. He tells her he just had lots of fun with the kids in the yard. Fanny gets serious… she wants to talk to him… about Leon. She does not get it. If Leon loves her so much, why has he not tried to come back with her? Fernando tells her it is real hard to ‘measure’ love, but he can tell her Leon is regretting his mistakes. Fernando understands that Fanny is waiting for Leon to make a move. She reminds him that the ‘offended’ one is her. Fernando admits to her that 'us men sometimes don’t know how to behave'.

At Margarita’s… Reina is regretting her angry rant. She tells him she is ‘here for you’, with no resentment or anger. She leaves. He nods like not wanting to even think about it. Margarita concerned.

Fanny asks Fernando about Isa. He tells her that Isa went out… and … ‘to be perfectly honest, I could care less’… Fanny asks then why he is still with her… ‘ah! My little sibling, right?’ yeah. Fanny says everything in life has a solution and it is never too late. Fernando does not want to talk about it. Fanny reminds him he is not thinking of himself. You should talk it over with someone, even if not me… talk to Nando or Grandpa or someone. You just said that men sometimes don’t know what to do. You know what you need to do, but don’t know how. (wow! Has Fanny come a long way from being just the leader of the ‘scare the new nanny’ team at the Lasc house! Bravo Fanny!!) # just saying… really!

Manuela and Bruno are at the movies enjoying their day off with some movie with Liza Minnelli? He fakes being tired and puts an arm around her and pulls her close. Manuela wants to know where he went before they came there. Bruno won’t tell her. Then puts his arm on her again and plants a smooch on her.

At the house, Fernando is talking to Luz and Alicia.. the girls had lots of fun today. Luz says we only needed one thing… Ana. Fernando agrees. Hugs both of them.

Diego and Ana arrive back. Ana will talk to YoMama. Diego wants to hear about it later. ’Can you imagine that Tarantula being my mom?’ Diego laughs. Wishes her good luck. Ana thanks him for the day. Another I love you and smooch.

Bruno outraged with the kitchen mess. Bruno will help Manuela clean up. Fernando comes in. Manuela shouts at him. He takes it in stride. Fernando will help them clean. Bruno is outraged at the offer. Fernando wants to give the example to his kids about solving the problems you create. He also wants to talk about the subject of the surrogate belly.

At Margarita’s, Reina answers the door, it is Fanny, Reina calls her ‘la fufurufa in person’ and won’t let her in.

Ana gathers strength to knock on YoMama’s room. YoMama lets her in. she turns off the tv. Yomama remembers Isa’s suggestion to let Ana believe she is her mother. Yomama says good thing you came, I have been thinking a lot. I remember last time we talked you said ‘it can’t be! It can’t be!’ Ana explains that all the memories YoMama was explaining to her coincide with Ana’s own mom. My mother left me at the convent of the nuns of the incarnate verb. YoMama fakes emotional response saying she did leave her daughter at that orphanage. Ana says ‘yes, you are my mom!’ YoMama apologizes for having abandoned her. Ana wants to know much more. Why did you leave me there? Am I from Ecatepec? YoMama explains that at that time she was very poor. And she knew Ana would be better off with the nuns. Ana says this still could be coincidence. YoMama starts mocking about ‘feeling something special in her heart’. ‘Hijita’… Ana still has questions to ask… did you care about me ever? Did I matter to you? YoMama wants to write off all of Ana’s questions… Ana insists she has been looking for her for many years. YoMama asks Ana to call her ‘mama’. Begs. Ana has a bit of difficulty, but does call her ‘mama’. As Ana hugs YoMama very emotional, YoMama thinks to herself ‘poor little dumb thing’.

Back to Margarita’s… Fanny pushes her way in. asks Reina why she shut the door in her face. Fanny asks who she is… Reina says we had seen each other before. But sorry but ‘el gatito’ (little cat vs Lion) is not in the house. Reina is angry that Fanny comes asking for Leon when she had sent him packing already. Ah! Must be the other guy sent you packing. Fanny surprised Reina knows about Reeky. Reina says Leon tells her everything. Reina lies and makes Fanny believe she and Leon have something going on. You might be princess, but I am now queen. ‘In your head’ ‘in yours!’ ‘fuiste a la villa y perdiste tu silla’ (you went to another hood and lost your seat) Reina shuts the door on Fanny. Fanny tells herself someone should buy Reina a dictionary.

Fernando insists in helping Bruno and Manuela clean up. They are wrestling with a stack of plates… 3… 2… 1… (ok, they save the plates. Fernando lets go). Fernando wants to talk to Manuela. Do you realize the importance of your decision? ‘sure! Imagine if you had in your hands the key to the happiness of a loving couple’. ‘I understand, it is very noble of you. But… a pregnancy changes many things… Fernando reminds Manuela he lived through six pregnancies with his wife. The hormone changes, the bodily changes, the hopes, the fear… besides, the baby won’t be yours. Have you considered what you will feel when you have to turn over the baby?’ ‘what I feel is not as important as helping Don Nico and Jenny be happy.. no? and what’s important is to know if I can count on your support.’ ‘I trust your decision… how about you Bruno? What do you say?’ ‘you know, Don Fernando, what the Miss decides is good for me’. Manuela swears she won’t affect her job… Fernando says ‘we will figure that out’.

Leon arrives at the house. Reina does tell him Fanny came. Leon gets excited asks what did she say. Nothing, she just asked for you and I told her you were not here. Leon miffed.

Back to YoMama’s playing with Ana… Ana again asks if YoMama ever thought what had been of Ana. YoMama swears she looked everywhere… even thought you could have died… but never stopped thinking of you..

Ana asks about the guitar… she does not have it here now, but would love to hear YoMama play it and singing the song. Ana wants to know why Yomama left the guitar there at the orphanage with her. Because you loved how I sang it… Ana is crying emotional saying she remembers her hands playing the song, with the cherry red nails playing the guitar. (Isa is laughing it off silently and decides to fake coming in now). Isa comes faking ignorance asking why Ana is here… Yomama tells her that Ana is the baby girl she left at an orphanage… Ana is your sister… Isa faints… Ana grabs a box (I wish she would slam the box on Isa’s head… but no, she is fanning Isa with it).

Previews: Isa and YoMama are mocking Ana… but… Ana asks for a DNA test… BWAAHAHAHAHAHA!! (we all know they will find a way to fake the results but it is still a good idea… and maybe… maybe…) all I know is that Isa and YoMama have turned the corner to the point of no return… ANVILS AWAY!!!

Good work, Marta. Yes, we are turning a corner here.

I'm totally with Ana about the climbing. Even if my knees were OK it would be a cold day in Hell before I would do that.

Wow Marta, thank you for the great recap, so much detail--I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I give credit to SN for doing the rock climbing--although maybe she is experienced at it. Same with the pole dancing. If she learned that for her role, she must have a very good teacher and a lot of natural athleticism because she looks like a pro in those scenes.

I had thought perhaps Yolanda lied to Isa, and that Ana really was her daughter, until the thought-bubble moment. Such a cruel trick! There's so much emphasis on the cherry nail polish, and Yolanda's hands...I am so relieved if Ana is going to insist on a DNA test...and how can Yolanda refuse to take one?

I really like Fanny and the fact that all the kids pretty much get along with their dad. That makes a nice break from all the evil scheming and witchery!

Thank you, Marta. Well done!

Enfrique es loco. The Harvard MBA turned vengeful villain seriously fell for Fanny after a week of working together, two lunches, a day of watching her ride, and a dance? Loser.

I feel sorry for Diego. He repeatedly professes his love for Ana, and she does not reciprocate. Unfortunately, she borders on using him, which drops her in my estimation.

What sad lives the brujas have if they have nothing better to do than harass an adult orphan. Como patetico.

Have a great day, All!

Marta, thanks for the wonderful recap. Yup, we are turning a corner and it is time for "anvils away."

I liked:

The hacienda at Malinalco complete with a peacock!

The menu for the wedding reception with rice pudding for dessert rather than wedding cake.

Fernando playing with the kids and wanting to help with cleanup in the kitchen.

Ximena admitting she had sent Nando away because she loved him and did not want to destroy him.

Fanny's reaction to Reina's slang with her dictionary comment.

I did not like:

Reina having so much control at Leon's.

Manuela still wanting to go ahead as the surrogate.

I hated:

Ana being so vulnerable that she could be snookered in by Yolanda. It was hard to watch knowing how hurt she will be when the truth comes out.

Jarifa

Brilliant recap Marta! I had to turn off the Yomama and Ana scenes, just to painful to watch, so I especially appreciate you slogging thru it and giving us the horrendous details.

I'm with everyone. Line Yomama and Isa up for the anvils. That woman started playing it for all it was worth, and that's when I had to switch and check the hockey score. Love hearing Ana was smart enough to think of a DNA test. Heavens, we are breaking the TN clichés aren't we.

I kind of chuckled at the rock climbing. THat would be something one of my sons would think is a great date too. The climbing up is fine by me, I've done that, but the repelling down, yeah, I'm with UA, no way no how. I'll walk back down thank you. Kudos for Ana for trying.

I found Nico's comment about not always being rich interesting. Hint of things to come? How did he build up his fortune? He's about as old as Eeky's poor dad...connection? Maybe I'm reading in too much, but writers do like to plant hints.

Reina can officially join Johny on the bus out of town. Do we really have to put up with a bratty mean girl story again? And I really don't get why we never saw her there before. And why is Leon's mother perpetually in the kitchen? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!

And we are to believe Eeky actually fell for Fanny? C'mon. So glad she just is not going there with any type of confused feelings, well at least yet. But ick. And it makes me think he is not going to give up.

Stupid comment of the night--Isa thinks she should have been out there with the family....sure, put on some shorts and tennis shoes and get your butt out there. Easy. Hate whiney people!!

I'm rather thankful they gave Ximena a much more explainable diagnosis. Clinical depression is a much better explanation for how she's been portraying the character. I got a bad vibe though on her comments, she sounded very close to someone contemplating suicide to end her burden. Would they go there?

End this Mama storyline pronto!

Daisynjay

I just got a great idea to end the fake mama storyline...
Ana can consult with Diego to how to get the DNA, but there is another good way to find out for sure...
Ana can PLAY THEIR GAME TOO... and use something that her mom did NOT really do and ask YoMama to do it AGAIN for her... like kiss her goodnite or pray by her bed with her or lay down on the bed with her... anything Ana's mom really never did...
or even better... have Diego bring home the Wrong guitar... something Ana's mom would NEVER recognize as hers... and have her play it... Then not tell Isa or YoMama that they are discovered... wait until the right moment to reveal it.

Excellent Marta.

Good catch "(wow! Has Fanny come a long way from being just the leader of the ‘scare the new nanny’ team at the Lasc house! Bravo Fanny!!)"

Ecuador Bound, I agree Ana is not into it, though they spent most of last night smooching, and she is just going through the motions. Diego is not stupid and he'll realize soon enough.

Jenny - Jenny from the hood block party planner

Ricky - baby rabbits are cute and usually easy to catch

Fernando - was either this frivolity all day or a lobotomy

Ana - there's a kick me sticker on your back

Reina - oh, he knows but is weighing his options

Yomama - "So he wove a subtle web, in a little corner sly,
And set his table ready, to dine upon the Fly."

Fanny - well, you have spent an inordinate amount of time with Ricky lately

Isabela - uh, I'm going to church honey

Manuela - they'll need a wet nurse too

Now I REALLY want the woman in the credits to turn out ot be Ana's REAL mom... that way YoMama and Isa are caught red-handed suddenly and would have no time to come up with excuses or escapes.

tofie, you had me cracking up with these just as I was about to turn the laptop off...

Jenny - Jenny from the hood block party planner

Ana - there's a kick me sticker on your back

Just brilliant!!!

Oh it was just horrible to watch the scenes with the Brujas and Ana. Isa turned the corner for me with Sebastian and now Yoyo with Ana. What vultures.

Marta I love the way you recap, especially your side comments, some of which are so snarky I laugh out loud.

I recorded and watched this last night, because the previews looked like it would be a fun episode, and it was! (Despite the aggravating ending with Ana and NotYoMama and Fanny and Reina.) Great recap too, Marta!

The family playing in the yard, and the rock climbing/picnic trip were great. I would have loved to be in the middle of that water gun fight. Not so much hanging off the side of that mountain though. :)

Not sure how Diego telling Ana that he loves her is Ana's fault. His feelings for her grew deeper much more quickly than hers for him. What can she do? She's been honest about how she feels about his brother. She's decided to move on/forward. She's giving it her all and having a good time with him, kissing him, and taking the time to actually learn more about him. If she doesn't end up really falling for him, that's life. It's normal. What's less normal are tn characters who date someone on the rebound who they hate/can't stand to be around/can't stand to have touching them. I say, go for it Ana! Be honest about your feelings, but have fun!

Loved Fanny's conversation with Fernando. Good advice given by both of them.

ITA Vivi... i can't blame Ana for giving herself a chance with Diego, who does not have anywhere near as much baggage as his brother... and she can always stay close to the kids... whether it works out and she does fall for him or not, she is giving it her best effort... and not even Diego can blame her for trying and not quite getting there.

and yes, the vultures are way beyond the point of no return... now i want them discovered and kicked out with many many nasty anvils...

The wedding plans look great, esp when i doubt Nico is planning to fill the hacienda with HIS old friends... it will be pretty much a family affair and i can't wait!

there wasn't one peacock... i saw at least four!! so beautiful!

yes i wanted to be a part of that water gun battle so badly... and Fernando was having such a great time at it... he was truly enjoying the time with the kids... not just forcing himself.

Love those peacocks! Now, how much income is that hacienda generating? It will have to make up for the loss of Fernando's position when Enfreaky does his dirty work.

More later.

Tofie, Ricky and baby rabbits commen was perfect!

Jarifa

btw, Reina and Fanny DID meet before... the first time Leon brought Fanny home... Reina was out at the 'hood gate and she got to see Fanny then... they didn't cross any words, Reina was totally ignoring Fanny and talking to Leon about some guy's truck... but they did see each other before. (Reina had only black hair at the time though)

Thank you, Marta.
Your recaps are so thorough, thoughtful and fun!

Anvils for sure.
At least we know that the bruja major is NOT the mother of Ana. That is reason for relief.

I really liked what Fernando said to Manola about the pregnancy. Very sweet and thoughtful. And Fanny gave him some good advise: you know what to do, now do it.

Isabela is another one who apparently knows what to do -- be part of the family to be happy. But she is doing something evil and irredeemable instead.

Daisynjay -- LOVE your comment on Reina getting on the same bus out of town with Johnny. We were Johnny-free this time but we had Reina instead.

Thank you Urban and Marta for both of your fine recaps.

I have only been able to see snippets of this lately and unfortunately they have all been the utterly cruel fraud Isa is perpetrating on Ana.

Your title was perfect Marta. Any hope I had for Yolanda has been dashed. And as for Isa crying tears of relief after Yolanda said her child had died was beyond heinous.

As you noted "all I know is that Isa and YoMama have turned the corner to the point of no return… ANVILS AWAY!!!". Indeed.

Diana

Thank you for the great recap!

I really hope Ana figures out soon that Yomama and Isa are playing with her and she turns the tables. Or at least Diego and Jenny keep her feet on the ground and make sure she gets a dna test. I would be disappointed if Isa was able to screw with the test. I feel that this show has been more true to life than others.

Thanks, Marta! Excellent recap! Apparently the brujas can keep digging to deeper and deeper lows. Perhaps when the marriage blows up, they can get jobs in excavation?

I could barely watch the scene of Yobruja and Ana. That evil hag. I know Ana's too emotional about it to be smart and sensible, but I hope Diego at least manages to drag Yomama to a lab for a test without giving her warning ahead of time and without letting her know where they're going first, and gets them to process the test while they sit there and wait so the brujas don't have a chance for any funny business. I don't want this plotline dragging out.

I'm with Jen. That hacienda is spectacular and it would be a shame to own it and not spend more time there. Why doesn't Fer take the kids for weekends? Now that Ana's got him relaxing and spending more time with them, maybe he will do that.

I'm looking forward to Nico's and Jen's wedding. Isa will probably melt down on the spot, what with the comida tipica menu (which sounds delicious) and the insufficiently snooty guests.

Disappointed that Reina decided to be a shrew.

As to why Margarita is always in the kitchen, she does run a quesadilla stand. Perhaps she does a lot of prep work ahead of time in her home kitchen.

Most show place haciendas are big time monry losers. Incredible maintenance and landscaping costs and most of the 1000s of acres of agricultural land sold off generations ago. Many coverted to resorts and museums (and some families renting them out to film and TV productions).

yeah that's what i was thinking... i dont think this is the type of hacienda that grows cattle or grows any crops... it is just a 'vacation home' type of place, as far as i understand... so money it would not be making for sure.

I wonder if this one is a working hacienda or now just a fancy second home. Who owns it, Nico or Fernando? Doesn't Fer also own a yacht that he almost never uses? Real estate can be seen as an investment, but a boat pretty much just sucks up money with no expectation of a return on the investment. A sensible businessman like Fer who isn't into flashiness would seem more likely to rent a yacht when he wants to take clients out (or his witchy new wife). I wonder what the family's life was like before Estefania died. Maybe they used to use this stuff more?

I was a little surprised when they ran into the gardener at the hacienda. They ignored him at first, even though he was standing RIGHT THERE, as they continued talking, until he was like, ahem, hello patron. Then Nico made sure that he knew that Jen was the prometida, but no one told Jen the gardener's name.

Somehow I would have expected Nico and Jen to be a leeeetle more egalitarian and polite than that, and do full introductions. It came off a bit "you're a servant; you don't matter" which is more the attitude I would expect from Isa or Reeky.

Anyway, the family does seem to hold a lot of major assets, so even if Reeky manages to suck all the money out of the company, one would think they wouldn't be broke. But fortunes seem to be able to turn drastically on a centavo in telenovelas, as if no one has other investments, or if they do, they will be frozen if that drives the plot.

Julia - I agree with you about Jen and Nico ignoring the gardener. It seems odd for the Lascurains to treat certain employees like familia and to marginalize others.

The deal with the gardener seemed a little awkward to me too, but I thought it was the ACTOR portraying the gardener that maybe entered the scene before he was supposed to and the actors didn't adjust their lines accordingly.

Also, wasn't Reina the one who forced her way into the bathroom ahead of Fanny that time that Fanny was staying with Leon and she went to take a shower?

I don't think that was Reina. That girl was way more goth, and it might be hard to tell with the makeup, but I think I would have recognized her face and I didn't.

Anon @ 3:46 pm
That wasnt Reina because Leon was staying in the guest house. That girl was a "Goth" dressed or made up girl.

Thanks Marta, I didn't get to see this one so I'm glad for the recap.

Reina did it all wrong. She should have told Fanny that León and she are now novios and that they even spent the night together. That way Fanny will be really mad at León if he tries to get back with her. Doesn't she ever watch TNs?

If Bruno is going to steal the kid's toys, why doesn't he do it when they're in school? No one will be there to catch him.

Let's hope the DNA test is on the downlow.

I missed the part where Fanny apparently wondered why the cowardly Leon hadn't tried more to get back with her. Did she forget that he asked for her when he was at the house, but she sent the clones down to say she was busy? He's approached her a few other times, too. What does she want? A mariachi serenade? I'm for that! But he has no money to hire mariachis.

“How did your mother ever get the idea you deserved the name 'Reina?'” said Aphrodite. “She obviously didn't understand what that really means.”

“Alas, there are more than one Cassiopeias in this world,” said Athena. “Yolanda is another.”

“Yes, and she will have more to answer for very shortly. Can you do something to help Ana figure her out?”

“I think appearing to her friends is the answer. I will speak to them in dreams. Ana is a smart woman but even intelligent people need to be reminded not to let their emotions run away with them.”

cathyx, ROFLOL on: Doesn't she ever watch TNs?

julia, I agree.. Leon has tried to reach out to Fanny several times... like when he had the first argument with Reeky at the office, then when he met with Fanny outside the office... and when he came to the house.
i second the wish for a mariachi serenade... that always works for me.

UA great notes by the Gods/goddesses.

Great recap Marta.

I am so surprised that Ana seemed to fall for Yola's story hook, line and sinker. But I'm sure when she thinks about it all she will come up with some doubts. She just doesn't seem the type to be very naïve and gullible.

Ann-NYC

That's naïve.

Ann-NYC

Ann-NYC
Ana wants to find her mother so much that she probably isn't thinking rationally.

I hope you know what I am trying to spell.

Ann-NYC

Ann, you spelled it correctly both times.

Cathyx:

The weirdest thing happened, that word was spelled with a capital A and another symbol, but when I closed out and came back I saw it spelled correctly. Crazy!!

I think they were Spanish letters.
Thanks.

Ann-NYC

I get Jenny all excited and all about the wedding but the chat between she and Nic smacked of entitlement and no expense spared. Not so different from our girl Isabela. Something about Nic just bothers me.

I see what you're saying. It was TOO MANY different dishes. Too extravagant. She could narrow down the selection and still have an excellent feast. I don't think people can appreciate that many different foods all in the same meal, anyway. Curate it a bit more rather than having EVERYTHING, I say.

At least she doesn't seem to be going out of her way to find the most expensive version of everything?

I'm looking forward to the wedding. It should be pretty, if nothing else. Plus music and maybe dancing. Fer's dancing makes me laugh so I want to see more of it.
