Mi Corazón Es Tuyo: Let The Walls Come Tumblin' Down!!
Isabela runs into Ana coming back from her chat with Johnny in el naco de “Taco Town”. She threatens Ana that she won’t be leaving the way free with Don Fernando. She’ll discover her weak spot and crush her. (Warning bells. “Danger Will Robinson! Danger!)
On the other side of Naco de Taco Town, Reina prevents Fanny from entering Leon’s apartment complex. She and Fanny are gonna have a little convo first. The talk consists of complaining to Fanny she’s just slumming with Leon and then pulling a guilt trip because Daddy doesn’t pay his employees more than minimum wage, which Reina gripes, essentially gives them less than what it costs for one of her lattes—the bite …plight of the barrio. (Take it up with your union bosses, babe.)
Bela sulks over to Enrique’s to whine about Ferd’s asking her for a divorce. She’s soooooo filled with rage. El Quicky de Ricky advises her to cool her jets and divorce amiably. Bela tries getting the real reason for Reeky’s need for vengeance against Los Lascurain. However, he manages to avoid it and changes the subject back to strategy. Isabraya claims that before she moves out she will get Ana where it hurts her the most!
Fanny’s #2 Friend apparently is riding home via public transportation. She talks to herself about having the hots for Nandito. Move over Ximena. Apparently, she’s from a middle class barrio and tires of its poverty as well. (Cry me a river…..)
Inside Leon’s, Fanny and Leon are served their fancy dinner by adorable little Mau, the only gratifying thing about this scene in which Leon tells Fanny about his situation with Tamara. Essentially, they married at 19 when she got knocked up; he realized they were not compatible and told her so; she got nasty then and took his little boy away to get even with him for wanting to dump her; he mourned and then went on with his life until he met Fanny……
Back in the Lascurain’s kitchen, Manuela cries to Ana that she thinks Bruno is two-timing her with some nurse he met up with when she followed him this last time. Ana says not possible really, and that it’s more likely the nurse has something to do with his big secret.
DF has a heart to heart with Nando about his decision to divorce Isa. He suggests it might be a way of Daddy avoiding his true responsibilities. DF explains his need to protect Seb, the twins and Luz from her and that he never thought she’d get into problems with them the way she had. (Child abuse claim at divorce time alert!) Well, says Nando, we sometimes have to bend the rules/cannot stand on principle, especially when Love is involved.
Ana explains to Luz, and then a bit later to Don Fernando about her guitar, how it was the only thing she had from her mother and how she thought it was the one way her mother tried telling her that she’d be coming back to her someday. Isabruja just happens to be on her way to her bedroom and stops to eavesdrop. She smiles evilly as the wheels in her head begin to spin a nasty venganza plot.
That night Bela sneaks into Ana’s room with a sledge hammer and fights the urge to smash Ana’s head open with it. She notices the guitar case and takes it instead. Yolando bumps into her in the hall as she’s trying to escape from the bedroom.
Isabrujaja ends up in the back yard with the guitar and thinks about her promises to make Ana pay! She takes the sledge hammer and smashes the guitar to pieces.
In the wee hours of the night, Dana wakes Johnny up to discuss the catfight and to take possession of him. She draws in a big breath, suddenly overcome with lust at seeing his exposed pecs. Suddenly the clothes come off and time for some extensive nighttime nookie…..
The next morning Ana discovers her guitar is missing. Ruh-roh!
In Chicago, Don Nicolas and Jennifer discuss his being worried over Diego’s reaction once he learns that his brother is planning to divorce Isabela. They call Diego and he advises Diego this time to actually fight for the woman he loves.
Waking up with Dana in his bed, Johnny has gone from famine to feast. He considers having to double up on his vitamins now that he’s “servicing” two women.
Ana asks DF about her missing guitar then races down to the kitchen to check with Mani and Bruno.
YoMama awakens to find Isa sleeping in her bed and takes the sledge hammer out of her hands, probably thinking to hide it somehow.
At the same time, Leon’s mother arrives at campus to find her taco stand has been totally destroyed. She makes a frantic call to Leon. Leon has been chatting it up with Bety about the romantic dinner he made for Fanny the night before. El Sneak-ay de Quique overhears the conversation before making his entrance, pointedly kissing Bety on the cheek good morning and snubbing Leon. No clue so far that he’s been canned, of course.
Leon gets the call from his panicked, heartbroken mother and wants to race off to help out his mother as it’s their only form of real family income. Reeky refuses to let him go. He demands Leon make some copies for DF which need to be delivered to him before he arrives to his office later that morning (all this despite Bety being there just for that exact purpose) and swaggers off afterward. (Viewerville is suddenly taking bets that it was Reeky who wrecked the taco stand.) Leon later explains to Bety what Reeky did to him and she simply cannot understand why he hates Leon so much. Leon politely tells her that he knows she’s got the hots for Reeky [mover el tapete] but that the dude’s been stalking Fanny and making moves on her. “—It’s like he’s obsessed with her!!”
Down in the Lascurain kitchen Ana explains the missing guitar problem to Fanny and Mani. She now figures that Isabruja has snatched it. Neither Fanny nor Mani would put it past the two “bloodsuckers” [sangrona] upstairs. Ana wants to wring the woman’s neck but won’t. No. She’s the bigg[er] person here. Bruno enters as Fanny and Ana run out, heading up to Yo-low’s room. Fanny quickly explains the problem before rushing after Ana. Bruno tells Mani that heads are going to roll if this turns out to be true. (Viewerville hopes to have first row seating at the event, especially if it’s Bruja and Yo-low who are losing possession of their nasty, scheming noggins.) He warns her that they will have to do something to avoid the inevitable bloodletting.
Bela meets up with Don Ferd in the living room and genteelly asks for a moment of his time to talk to him. Inside she explains she won’t be giving him any trouble over the divorce and will leave ASAP.
Fanny and Ana now race up to YoMama’s room in a frantic search for Bela. Ana excitedly explains why she wants Isa and now! Yo-low plays dumb and stupid. Fanny and Ana turn around and leave. Bruno gets called back in to give Yolow another neck massage. (I thought this woman was persona non-grata already. What gives?) He stops in his tracks. Will he or won’t he this time?
DF thinks over Isabela’s decision and asks how long she’ll need to pack up all of her things. She’ll only need a couple of days to get her things packed, she says unassumingly. He tells her in just as pleasant a manner that he won’t be throwing her out of the house, if that were a concern. So fine, he’ll give her whatever she needs. Just then he and she hear Ana storming through the downstairs in a mell of a hood. They come face to face with her and Ana demands to know where her guitar is. Isabela shrugs as if to say ‘How should I know?’ Ana mimics the shrug and the fur is about to fly.

The closeup of Diego's drink made me uneasy. I expected him to hop on his motorcycle and ...
So now our Harvard grads smash guitars and vandalize taco stands in the middle of the night? I certainly hope my students take away more valuable lessons from my classes than Enfrique and Isabruja did from their Ivy-League educations!
So...
- Of course Reeky wrecked the taco stand. TN's love their parallels, so Isa smashes the guitar of her rival, Reeky ruins Leon mother's livelihood (his rival--well he thinks). Gees, the twins now look like saints in comparison.
- Yomama still is at the bottom of the barrel to me. She suspects what Isa is doing, but her meal ticket and ability to live well is more important to her than being honest and making her daughter behave. She's still anvil worthy.
- With all these tirades from characters about resenting Fanny or the family's way of life, my guess is we are getting telegraphed the possibility the Fer's are about to become part of that middle class themselves. I don't think it will be a big deal, we've already seen the older kids can cook and everyone is starting to pitch in on cleaning, etc. and Nico knows Jen could care less about his wealth. It would be a family that could transition easily I think. It will however shut the hell up Reina and other parties.
- Johny is the most demeaning to women character I've seen. In his own way, he's as bad as Reeky. "Servicing", playing two women? And that was one shirtless moment I could have done without. Is making women look stupid and lusting after a jerk supposed to be funny?
- Speaking of which: Betty has rocks in her head. The way Reeky treated her and she sees how he treats others, and even the other staff knows she STILL has the hots for the idiot?
- And right on cue, here comes the baby in danger and it's all Ana's fault plot.

Also, ITA about Johnny; he nauseates me! Touching women's hair without permission, 'servicing' them . . . gag.
Apparently, after seeing enough of these tns, you expert bloggers notice lots of patterns: dual/parallel acts of vandalism,a sudden loss of wealth and adjustment to middle-class living, mistaken paternity, "cue[ing]" the unborn baby in danger, etc. Hmmm. . . muy interesante.
I disagree about Johnny being the most demeaning toward women; that questionable honor belongs to Doroteo who has no intention of ever letting Ana go. I shudder at what he might have done to her if she had gotten pregnant instead of Isabruja.
Enfrique isn't far behind him, though. If any part of his plan succeeds although it will be temporary you know that Isabruja will come after him because of how it will impact her.
Fernando needs to tell his lawyer all the sick and twisted details.
Every so often, these comedy/drama telenovelas surprise me with the intesity of violence portrayed. Last night was one of those episodes where it was only Luz repositioning herself aaginst Ana that prevented Isabella from crushing Ana's head in with her hammer.
I loved that Nico and Jennifer were out sightseeing already at 7:00 a.m. when they called home.
My favorite line was Yolanda about Isabella: ya se le botó la canica. Literally: she had thrown a marble. Figuratively: she had lost it. Yolanda usually has the most colorful lines.
Last night was the third night at least in a row that we started with an embedded iphone/Stint commercial with one of the characters that transitioned into a real Sprint commercial. They are getting tricky.
I am glad Ana is wasting no time in going after Isabela for the disappearance of her guitar.

Also, absolutely non-Don Inodoro and Enfrique rank right up there in the battle for title of Most Misogynist Man. I would love to rewrite this tn, reversing the gender of each and every character! Imagine Ana being the president of a company and Fer, the nanny, having to conceal the truth about his night job as a pole dancer!
Had hoped for more enthusiasm from Fernando when Isabela said she'll get out in two days. Almost like he wondered what is the rush.
My Guitar - gently weeps
Juan - feast or famine
Mau - what, no tip
Leon - lying was way harder
Betty - angry at Fanny or pissed at Rick
Fanny - benevolent princess lurks within
Ricky - Hurricane Enrique
Isabela - I'll get you my pretty, and your guitar too
Luz - life saver
Diego - don't punch yourself out
Yomama - checkout is noon
You got me out of lurker mode with that one.
Yomamma, checkout is noon was pretty darn funny, too.
Great work, Jardinera. I've been watching and reading especially the last few weeks, but I'm not really committed to this one. I can't seem to care much about any of these characters, and Jorge Salinas is so wooden in this role. He's doing nothing for me. I think he and I might be over. I hope he doesn't take it too hard!
I do enjoy the recaps, so many thanks to all.
Of course, unless Fernando has stockpiles of cash in offshore accounts the destruction of his professional rep could mean he can't get a CEO position again, which could lead to him rapidly going broke.
I have an idea about where this could go, but you will get to read it tomorrow.
You have a wonderful way with words. Many thanks for a great recap and some good chuckles.
I am praying that we don't go down the Ana goes beserk path and pregnant Isabela blames Ana for problems. Looks like Fanny and Bruno were afraid of just the same thing!
The business bust-up is inevitable, I fear.
I'm curious if Ana will get the proof that Isabela actually broke her guitar. That hammer on the night stand has to mean something.
Poor Diego, I feel like we are on death watch with him. Whenever he leaves a room and our screens we wonder if that's the last time we'll see him.
I'm more worried what Ricky is gonna do to Fanny & by extension Leon. That is not over, evidenced by him going after Leon's mom. He intends to get rid of Leon so he can have Fanny for himself.
Tofie: Some great LOL lines again. Dunno how you do it, but glad for the laughs.
Right on, re: misogynists running rampant in this one.
Reina is a jerk of a character. And didn't pink and purple hair with apple green nail polish go out about 15 years ago?
I am sick of Nerdito's bowties and Xime's sickness is getting on my nerves. This girl has problems and her extreme intrest in a kid who's 2-3 years her junior is totally bizarre to me--perhaps more so than her disease. I hope he achieves some sort of self-awareness, but she's the only one gonna let him do the nasty with her so he's stuck in La-la-Looneyville with her until his hormones and his brain manage some sort of equilibrium....and Briana finally grows up enough to give Xi some real competition.
As I've previously said, not all women are "showing" this early. Isabitch is only entering her fourth month. Many women still don't show until month 5.
Tune in tomorrow; you won't be disappointed.
Tofie, ALL your lines for last night made me ROFLOL!! esp Mau's, Reeky and YoMama's...
In the previews, it seemed that Isa (per the Voice over guy) made a promise over her baby (YIKES!!) that she knew nothing about the guitar...
then at the end of the preview Isa and Ana have a confrontation in the hallway where There is some physical wrestling and Isa ends up hinting Ana that 'if something happens to my baby I will kill you!' with Ana's face showing again the 'Ooopsie! i did not mean to harm your baby, just your pretty cheeks!' ...
so we will have Ana backup again due to the anvil of that baby suffering some harm and her feeling guilty more than being blamed.
guy williams played the dad there and also played the Disney Zorro.
"(Warning bells. “Danger Will Robinson! Danger!)" and "(Take it up with your union bosses, babe) were among a few of my favorites.
I didn't get to see this but thanks to your wonderful details, don't think I missed a thing.
How unfortunate though that Isa was able to destroy Ana's only, most valued sentimental possession.
Isa has been stripped of almmost all of her power. If she were to leave the house at this point, she would have no leverage at all. I suspect (no spoiler) that if Isa is to pull the "baby in danger" card, now would be the time. Blech.
Diana
Reeky is so desperate! Going after a poor, young, single dad and his mom. How pathetic! Hope karma strikes his bum soon.
Agree with Daisynjay that Yomama is still anvil worthy. I don't know if it is the writers or that Carmen Salinas just can't play totally bad characters, but her character seems to be trying to toe-the-line between being actively bad and just getting caught up in Isa's craziness. For example, she knew what Isa was going to do to the guitar, didn't tell her to stop but then wakes up and questions what Isa did with the hammer. Then she is convincingly confused when Ana asks her about the guitar. I just can't make sense of her character.
Adrian, ITA about Diego. I will be upset if bodily harm comes to him.
CS's character in PEAM did the selective memory same thing, too.
I don't like the murderous aspect to these comedy TNs. But, I can believe it of Isa more than I did with Veronica (PEAM). For me, Veronica's came out of left field. But I can buy it with Isa. She is extremely narcissistic. She honestly can't understand why nobody likes her. She honestly can't understand why Fer wouldn't ditch his kids for her. She has no problem lying and believing her lies. She's a thirty something woman who throws childish tantrums (though I do find it funny when she stamps her feet).
Isa as murderer? Only a matter of time.
Nanette
Sob. I am a bit distraught over the murder of the poor guitar. I would have mourned Johnny much less.
I don't think Yolo has any real memory problems. She certainly seems to remember things when it's convenient for her. However, if a dementia or Alzheimer's plot manages to get her locked up in a high-security assisted-living facility, I'm all for it. I can see where Isa gets her narcissism. Yomama isn't as outwardly expressive, but she has nearly the same lack of empathy.
Definitely not seeing whatever Nando sees in Xime. She's a total downer energy suck. Can you imagine a lifetime dealing with her wailing like that any time a woman looks at Nando? Sure, Laura is being a beeyotch, but that isn't Nando's fault. Fanny really, REALLY needs some new friends.
I agree that if the Lascurain family loses a lot of their fortune and has to live like the middle class, they will be just fine. They are way more down-to-earth than the pretenders who are jealous of them. They can cook, they can clean, they aren't snobs about designer clothes and not doing anything for themselves and such. I think what would hurt them the most would be having to put all their staff out of work, if it came to that.
Sob. I am a bit distraught over the murder of the poor guitar. I would have mourned Johnny much less.
and about Nando breaking up with Xime and her becoming obsessed... you mean a la Fatal Attraction? LOL! i can't imagine Bruno's reaction to that... and how he would handle it...
yes, Fanny needs a re-do in her circle of friends... Hashtag move on...
I like Xi and Nando, but she really is too unstable. I'm all for a little bit more mature Briana to be Nando's true love. I don't think his first love will be his true love.
Briana would be ideal for him, but perhaps not right away. Maybe in a few years when they're both adults.
I can't believe Fer apparently didn't tell Bea and the company security people that he's demanded Enfrique resign. He should have made sure he couldn't walk right in Monday morning como si nada. Since he doesn't know the extent of Reeky's dastardliness, it makes a little sense he might want to let him keep up the appearance of resigning rather than being fired, but still, Fer should have recognized the risk of the situation. He should have taken away any key or card he has to get in to the building, casually walked in with him as if it were friendly but really to keep an eye on him, accepted his "resignation", and ESCORTED HIM OUT.
I don't know how anyone who hasn't learned how to manage situations like that could have risen to president of the company.
I for one am excited to see Fernando living a middle class life and actually noticing and admiring just how difficult a life that can be... I wonder if he will do anything to help out Leon and Margarita. After all they did a great job with Nico's wedding.
Maybe the students who love the quesadillas will rally to help Margarita.
Isa's fingerprints should be on Ana's guitar, right? Encreepy was probably smart enough to hire someone else to trash the stand, or at least wore gloves, but I hope someone will recognize his likely involvement. He's made no secret of his hatred of Leon and his willingness to go after Leon's family, so it shouldn't be much of a leap.
I also don't believe that Leon makes minimum wage either. He handles sensitive documents and has to have been bonded (at least he would be here). I believe that Reina was just trying to grind Fanny's gears.
The one thing we can count on is that with Diego living down the corridor Enfrique won't be able to juggle women very long without him finding out.
