Hasta el Fin Del Mundo #73 20141127 Thanks Cap'n Obvious! We Already Know that Greta will never Accept the Poor Boys.
During Fausto's visit, Greta asks him to help her with the girls. She tells him that she regrets meeting Paco. If she'd never met Paco, she would have been able to fall in love with Octavio. Fausto is surprised to learn that she never loved Octavio.
Javier can't find the marriage certificate in Lupe's bedroom. He believes that the divorce attorney has it. Chava returns home looking for his mom and sister. Javier fake coughs and comes out of the room. He tells Chava that he's feeling better and that he should be leaving in a couple of day. He asks Chava for forgiveness. Chava says that he will think about it. He thinks Javier is pretending to be remorseful so that he can stay in the house.
Chava later asks Matias if anyone has ever done anything unforgivable to him. Matias says yes, but he has a bad memory. If Chava wants to forgive, he will have to have develop a bad memory as well.
- Miggie tells Lupe that she did not betray her friendship. Javier owed her money. If Lupe saw her with Javier, it was only because she was calling in her loan. Javier never has paid her back.
- Greta will be discharged tomorrow. She should follow a strict diet and have no stress.
- Marisol tells Chava that Lucas is her boyfriend. Chava wants to meet with Lucas man to man.
- Fausto tells the girls that Greta will never accept their men.

From yesterday my favorite scene was, of course, Alexa having to just add that one more bit of information so that Sofía would not have to bear Greta's wrath all alone: that she Alexa was also in love with Armando. Of course, it was not supposed to be funny but Greta's resultant attack sure was. Renzi had a nice little attack of a different sort himself yesterday. He should run while he can still walk.
Irma has proven herself to be the lowest of the low poisoning Nandito against Armando with her lies.
Alexa again today said "que lo digo yo". Annoying because I'd prefer her to just fly away and not "decir" a thing.
Let us see if Sofía and Alexa will be able to resist Greta's emotional blackmail now that with her heart condition she cannot get upset.
Jarifa
This is the same nut, who was hostile towards Elvis in Destilando Amor.
I was hoping Greta's attack was just anxiety, but she really did go and have a heart attack. Sofia will definitely buckle under the pressure and guilt. I don't think Alexa will, but she's the one who needs to slow down, because Armando needs to get his house in order and focus on his son before jumping into a relationship with anyone.
If Araceli somehow uncovers the secret of Greta as to why Paco gets angry following 30 years, I could see her confronting Greta with the stolen recipes information: then Greta will ask Patrick to "take care of the problem"....which will be code for killing Araceli.
If that happens, Paco will really go Dirty Harry & get pissed off.
Just saying.
Like Jarifa, I had to stifle a smile at Alexa causing the already boilig pot to spill over with her tidbit about Armando. Patience girl, patience. As you noted Vivi, he has to take care of the house he already has before he begins another.
It was sad to see Nandito so upset thinking his father is with someone else (even though he is, sort of). Not surprised Irma played that card.
Steve, what Araceli lacks in personality, she makes up for in intelligence. I wouldn't be the least surprised if she puts two and two together in terms of Sophia and Paco.
Greta just continues to disappoint, telling Sophia to marry Patricio from her sick bed.
Thanks again Cynderella...
Diana
Karma will be coming for this buji freak.
Buff Paco — LOL! They did a great job casting the two young selves, though; I’ve always been thinking that. Especially Greta. The real young César Évora was killer, though; better looking than this young actor. He had black hair and those penetrating eyes to go with his penetrating voice. Just killer.
I think I mentioned before my favorite role of his was “Marcelo Romero Vargas” in Corazón Salvaje (1993), where he had a romance with the character of Verónica Merchant, whom I always liked, too.
Also Olivia Bucio (“Greta”) was lovely as a young woman; my favorite role of hers is as “Carmelina de Díaz” in “Alondra (1995),” where she married Alondra’s father, played by Eric del Castillo. Their characters had a nice romance.
Another great casting choice in this show was of Eleane Puell (“Mara,” De que te quiero, te quiero) as Silvana’s younger self. She looks just like Mariana Seoane. Here’s a pic of Eleane Puell: http://tinyurl.com/ldbb5va
Did young Paco fail to meet young Greta at the appointed place and time? I forget if I ever knew that. I do remember now that she married Octavio to save her family’s finances. I’m already suspecting that Octavio might have arranged for her family to fail, like Patricio is.
I loved that conversation between Araceli and Paco; they both took it surprisingly well.
Poor Salvador; I hated to see him agree to think about forgiving Javier.
Irma truly is unbalanced, but she is essentially correct about one thing: Armando is in love with another woman. He’s never been in love with Irma; just never had anything better to do. Irma has been skating on thin ice all this time and never stopped to look just how thin. Now she fell in and is going to drown; I hate to see her try to take Nando with her. That hurts; poor kid. She’s putting her responsibilities on his small shoulders.
That was interesting about Javier’s loan with Miguelina being Miguelina’s only interest in him. Can anyone recall if it was Miguelina’s daughter who is the parent of Lucas? Or was it her son? I can’t recall. I tend to think it was her daughter, though; because I have a hunch while Miguelina was hanging around Javier trying to get her loan back, unbeknownst to Miguelina, Javier took out some of the interest on her daughter.
I’ve been interested in Lucas’s parentage, wondering if the supposed demise of his father was a red herring, an excuse used to explain his absence. And now with the renewed emphasis on Miguelina’s association with Javier, I get the idea Javier might be Lucas’s father. That would make Marisol and Salvador his half siblings. Marisol took an instant liking to Lucas, which was seemingly unwarranted and suspicious right off. As we have noted: The Call of the Blood.
Although Lucas is annoying, Lucas remains an important character in the story. Miguel Martínez has 11th billing in the cast list at IMDb, right after María Rojo (Lupe). And I noticed in the new poster for the show, Lucas is featured prominently. He’s not a nobody. Just things to add up.
Greta blames Octavo for Alexa's and Sofia's issues and at the same time chastises her daughters because they're not living up to his standards for them. And she married him to keep her family rich and because he threatened her with a big fat knife. She's so ridiculous, I delight when Pato toys with her.
Nandito is no fool. He knows which parent has the right marbles. I love that he never keeps Irma's secrets.
I was already stuck on Matias but his saying he has a bad memory to deal with the unforgivable, aww!
Funny I don't remember Lucas agreeing to be Marisol's novio. Isn't Marisol carrying herself away?
On Patrick bankrupting Ripoli:does anyone think that he & Octavio were working together in ponzi schemes?
Pato's fake tears are killing me. I LOL every time.
Jeri, I agree about the casting. The little kid who played young Chava looks just like Pedro.
Greta didn't meet Paco because her dad had a heart attack that day and Greta and her mother were waiting at the hospital. Octavio apparently told Greta the family was bankrupt right after her father died. I would not be surprised if Octavio was somehow involved in Greta's father's death.
Lucas' father was Miguelina's son. He was very ill and Miguelina was caring for him. After the son died his wife abandoned Lucas. It was during that illness that Javier the Dirtbag hit up Miguelina for a loan.
I guess Lucas’s mother could still show up. Something tells me she would not be the new lawyer we’re expecting that Irma’s supposed to be getting, unless she’s a lawyer with a poor sense of justice and duty. Anyway, they are not bringing this whole issue of Miguelina’s association with Javier up for nothing; there must be something else to it.
Niecie, one or two episodes ago, Lucas asked Marisol to be his girlfriend. She strangely took a long moment of indecision before she started jumping up and down with glee.
My guesses on who his mother is could be:
A.) Araceli: messing around with numerous people.
B.) Silvana
C.) Unknown wild-card
I kept mumbling die bitch, die bitch as Greta spewed to Fausto. For her to say she regretted ever meeting Paco, the father of her meal ticket made me madder than hades.
Bad thing about Renzi now black and blue is he has proof of a beating.
I went back to watch again the funniest part last night. Armando comes home and the harpy started to harp and he just, nope, got his things and left. The look on her face was priceless when she knew she stepped in it.
Now I'm ticked at Lucas. He knows full well he's still hung up on Dani. Now Marisol will be more clingy and annoying than ever.
He's going to stuck with Marisol for awhile. Dani, on the other hand, has mover on to be with Oliver.
Steve, during a couple’s conflict period, employing the telenovela double standard (and this was true in romance novels, too, when I used to read them), the guy is allowed to fool around for a while; but the chick is not usually allowed on account of making her look like a slut. However, in contemporary telenovelas, the chick might be able to mess around, too. I can’t exactly picture Daniela messing around with Oliver; but she might dangle Oliver a bit before she gets back with Lucas. :D
We don't even know what his mysterious mother looks like yet or if she'll show up in this TN.
What Armando has always shown is a commitment to Nando, and this is no encumbrance to a relationship with Alexa.
In fact, they've given Nando and Alexa a clearly mutual appreciation for each other from the start. The relationship between Armando and Alexa was destined from the beginning.
Irma has always been toast; they created her disagreeable so that we wouldn't mind.
OK, so Irma is crazy, but that's the chance you take when you mess with someone else's dude. Remember, Alexa started pursuing him when he was still trying to make it work with Irma...and she didn't care.
My mother always told me this about married or "taken" men. If you take someone else's man, you get EVERYTHING that belongs to the other woman. Meaning, if he's a cheat, you have just received a cheater. If he's a wife beater, you just stole a few of her beatings. If he's a gambler or an alcoholic, you took that mess from her. You get everything because you had to have that man and everything that comes along with him.
OK, cuss me out later, but she used OJ as an example. Nicole stole OJ from his first wife. Maybe...just maybe she stepped in and took what the first wife was supposed to get.
But in fact Armando never discouraged Alexa; quite the opposite: he came to her rescue and became her rock. She was not mistaken in thinking he wanted to.
It's a cop out for him to say that he didn't marry Irma all those years because of money. He was already supporting both of them. He didn't marry her, because she's kind of a nasty person; and he doesn't like that about her.
I think the story just didn't want to say that about Armando, because he's supposed to be an angel; but he's got a feather or two missing out of his wings. He thoroughly enjoyed Alexa's attention; he's human alright.
Armando would have been happy to go on like that until Nando was raised and then just drift away from Irma. If they were old enough, they might have stayed together for habit's sake.
In regard to Salvador's past, it's not the story that's trying to tarnish his reputation, it's simply Patricio trying to do that. He's the one trying to put together an ugly reputation to make Sofía feel cheap and used. Maybe for the 15 minutes she does, Patricio thinks, he can squeak in and get to the altar with her.
The only one trying to make hay with the information is Patricio. He's been frantically trying to track down some of the women Salvador was supposedly with.
The only useful purpose it serves is for Patricio to get Sofía off balance long enough to commit to him again. To make Sofía doubt Salvador truly loves her.
I don't see how it matters which actor is involved when the situation works out. How would that work differently for Pedro than for David?
Not saying they can't make use Salvador's prowess later when David comes on; Pedro sure wouldn't to it.
But I don't think they planned it because of David; I think they needed ammo for Patricio. He's trying everything he can to trap Sofía.
I really had no idea where you were going with that. LOL To me the only use for it is what Patricio's going to do.
Gee, I have mixed feelings about Irma's beatdown of Alexa. Now Irma has no business putting her hands on Alexa, but Alexa was publicly pawing Irma's longtime mate. Alexa has not been taking Armando's trouble-ridden breakup with Irma too seriously. She seemed to think she could just breeze in and take Armando.

I have to find the exact scene because now I am obsessed.
Niecie, I'm not saying that Chava chased them. Im just saying that he boinked them. cynderella
She's going to get her man, but we get to see her grow up on screen, I hope. They were still calling her La Chica Ripoll trying to explain who was on the floor. Hilarious!
