♥ Mi Corazón es Tuyo ♥ Lunes 11/17/14 ♥ #86 ♥
He licked his chops behind the mask, uncovered the syringe, and just as he was about to inject the potassium chloride into Nicolás' IV Nick woke up and stopped him by grabbing his hand and arm wrestling it away from the port. He dropped the syringe while trying to get away, failed to pick it up, then backed off just as a similarly garbed man entered the room to check up on Nicolás. Enrique got out as fast as he could and before Fernando removed the surgical mask to show his face to his father. Nicolás looked frightened when Fernando found the syringe and cover on the floor. He picked them up and capped the syringe with a curious expression.

The PSA for this episode was PTSD with Natalie rapidly and frighteningly closing up the laptop after viewing the war scene.
I'm not particularly liking the fairytale scenes. Kind of corny to me, but hey it's a comedy.
Will Isabruja ever move out of the mansion?
I did not like Fernando telling Nico that he had just dreamed the strange doctor with the syringe. Not smart.
So now Lenin is going to "educate" Fanny? Don't like where that subplot is headed.
Also, I don't like León being set up by Enrique. That could get ugly very quickly.
I really enjoyed the fairy tale sequence. That was very funny especially with Fernando coming in on his "horse".
I liked Yolanda's response to Isabela after Isabela rudely asked her if she could read. Yolanda had the perfect response: that for someone so well read and well written she still could not control her emotions which is course (as stated by Yolanda on previous occasions) why the marriage did not work and why they had to move. Yolanda sure knows how to twist the knife.
It was interesting that the reason Fernando gave Ana for signing the the resignation was that if he did not respect himself, who would?
My favorite part was Ana telling Fernando she loved him in her sleep.

I think Fernando wanted to spare his father stress. He also likes to get to the bottom of things himself. Although I have to say that Enrique left no evidence and we're just about at the estimated midpoint of the series so it will be a while.
Eeky is lucky that Fer has been rather easy to dupe up to now, but would be nice to have that camera show something to tip them off. I doubt it though, wouldn't it be a little too early to out the villain? They may see someone trying to use the needle, but not catch it's Eeky.
Leon would make a great mole, but I'm guessing Eeky uses him and something happens to get Fanny mad at him. If they were 6, Lenin would be giving Fanny a frog in a box to show his interest. But now she gets Simone. Smooth move.
So now Manuela is leaving our screens? Hmmm. We seem to be losing characters, mostly the ones who weren't exactly working out. Fer is unemployed. Maybe he can learn to cook and take over the kitchen? (That hacienda would make a great bed and breakfast.)
What do we do with Diego now? Will he leave to get his head together for awhile. Still don't like the turn of the character, though knew it was coming.I am so liking Nat and I did actually appreciate the PTSD reveal.
Osorio does love those fairytale type interludes (shades of PEAM), but it was interesting you say the true love kiss didn't work the first time? Hints these two are going to be dragged out to ad nauseum before a real hookup?
Can Isa just move out already and take her little munchkin mother with her? With Manuela gone, I won't enjoy those Yomama attempts at Bruno moments ramping up. Blech!
Calling it--Nico is going to try and make Jen divorce him. And there's Johny ready to step in. Shoot me.

This series will end in early March (we're three weeks behind Mexico) so there's too much story left to out Enrique or the true nature of his relationship with Isabimbo. I'm getting a little irritated with the length of time it's taking to bring Soledad into the story, but I'm not looking forward to the sappy results of that. I am also sick of that lullabye.
I do agree about Yomama's sexual harassment of Bruno. That has been beyond sick. I'm surprised that Isabruja hasn't used that as evidence that Yomama has Alzheimer's or something to send her to a facility.
Which would be another crime on her rap sheet because I doubt that Yomama is really losing control of her faculties.
“What she needs is the courage to tell Fernando about Chicago.”
Fernando finally had the courage to own up for his mistake and while I'm fine with Ana not falling into his arms and forgiving him (if Isabela had tried to get along with the kids Ana would be an afterthought) she knows there will never be a relationship until she discloses the real Ana. Does she have the same courage?
Leon - know you're hurting for money but he threatened your child
Betty - I just love my new boss
Lenin - hush, it works for me
Isabela - only way I leave is if Fernando drives the U Haul
Bruno - tell me when my crazy ex is gone and I'll come out
Nic - get closer Diego, got a serious question, how do you dump girls
Ricky - benevolent malevolence
Natalia - hold still Diego, let me pull your head out of your butt
However, I completely disagree with you about Isabela here. She might have fire in bed but she has no warmth outside of it. Any show she ever made about getting along with Fernando's kids was all fake and she couldn't have kept that up.
I also don't believe any claim she has ever made about loving Fernando. This is about her ego and her validation as a member of whatever social circle she perceives Fernando belonging to. That Yomama is a naca still sticks in her craw.
However, all it would have taken is for Isabela to pretend to like a few more of the kids for a short while (she is capable and did a wonderful job on Alicia) and not drive Fernando from her bed. I think Fernando was so convinced on paper Isabela the perfect wife he would have made it work and only because things went so bad, so quickly, he was forced to accept his error. Timing is everything.

1) Fernando finds out about Chicago and Ana's dancing, and
2) Isabruja gets back with Fernando somehow (maybe after he finds out about Chicago), and she gets to move back into the mansion.
Now that Diego and Ana aren't together, Ana won't have Diego to counterbalance Fer's fury when he finds put Ana had held back from him all this time. I don't think she had lied about Chicago, she just hasn't been forthcoming.
Again, it would be a nice change from typical tnland if Fer took everything in stride and didn't go all whacko when this happens.
It seemed to me that Nico and Bruno were up to something regarding the future of Nico's relationship with Manuela. Is Nico trying to get Bruno to be a sperm donor and that is why he has been backing away from Mauela? Am I imagining that a plot is being hatched -- and not a very smart one!
Worried Reeky is going to manipulate Leon into doing something illegal and hold it as leverage over him. Though with Leon's financial position, I guess holding his job over his head is enough leverage.
I like Leon but I can easily see him and Fanny moving in separate directions. She is very young, in school and growing into her future. And so is he. Her interests could very easily have her moving away to pursue them and Leon has a child and mother to consider.
Oh I hope Isa moves out but I wouldn't put it past her to burn down the bldg of her new apt.
Manuela can't leave. Who is going to cook for all of those people? Ana doesn't have the time. I actually give her credit for doing the right thing which is to leave.
Victoria, I tend to think like you, that somehow we aren't losing Isa any time soon and it may be because of Ana and Chicago. If Fer goes all self-righteous on her, that may be the opening Isa needs to worm her way back into his affections. After all he could keep Ana on as a nanny, but say he would never trust her as a partner. And the fact Diego and Nico knew and not him will stick in his craw too. At that point my beanie would implode because he knows the person she is by now, but for plot purposes, wouldn't put it past him.
I'm not losing sleep this TN goes to March. It seems all the TN's lately are stretching out past original estimated dates, unless there's a reason the main actors can't commit or the show isn't getting positive ratings. Just hope the plots don't go south the longer we go.

Going to watch this ep tonight. Can't wait to see the "I love you" couch scene.
How horrible if Fer does reconcile with Isa knowing how she mistreats his kids and that everyone despises her. Please writers, don't go there!
I love Leon, but it wouldn't hurt for Fanny to be involved with more than one guy (at a time, of course). She became very serious about Leon very quickly. She's still very young. I'd like to see them eventually hook up. Though, if that doesn't happen, I'll route for a Reina/Leon hookup at the end.
UA: I agree it's time to bring Soledad into the picture.
Fer doesn't seem to be too concerned about resigning re: his financial position. He wouldn't jeopardize his kids' life that way. He could, of course, get cheated out of his money somehow, I suppose.
Nanette
Not sure Isabela and Fernando will reunite but don't believe she is leaving anytime soon and the divorce is likely delayed. That will serve the same purpose.
Simone de Beauvoir was not only a feminist; she was a Marxist as well. The clever tn writers aptly named Lenin as the bearer of The Second Sex.
Tofie - You gift us with excellent one-liners today! I especially like Ricky's oxymoron: benevolent malevolence. PERFECT!
Jarifa - ITA about validating Nico's experience for him. He already feels too old for Jen physically. Now he's going to think he's going senile, too.
