12/9/14: Thank You Note from the Family of Blogger Madelaine

All- I got this note from Madelaine's brother.

Hello,

I am one of Madelaine's younger brothers. I wish that you would pass on to all how deeply we were touched at the outpouring of all of the members of your group. She is deeply missed by us already and time has not yet begun to heal our pain. But I will say this to all, she will not be forgotten. While at her house after she had passed I noticed a saying she had hanging on her wall:

Some people

come into our lives

and quickly go......

Some stay for awhile

and leave footprints

on our hearts,

And we are never,

ever the same.

I would say that we will all never be the same. May we all be thankful that our lives touched one another's. May we all share what she has so generously shared with us. Again, I thank you all most graciously and may God bless you all.

I still feel a profound sadness at losing our Madelaine, but it helps me to re-read her recaps.

I am glad that Madelaine's family knew how near and dear she was to each and every one of us.

She left a loving, caring legacy and will be sorely missed.

Thanks, Vivi, for sharing. How kind of Mads family to send us a note. I watch my novela and read the recaps and comments with a touch of sadness now.

I have a feeling, though, we'll get her input channelled through the group. Telenovela love is infinite.

My God... I have been moving back down to Central America for the past week or so and as such am behind the times here. What sad and terrible news about Madelaine... my heartfelt condolences and best wishes to her family, and thank you, Vivi, for sharing this touching letter with us all.

May she rest in peace, yet remain forever in our hearts, and memories.

I used to post here and got to be friends with Mike Martin and Cheryl Cathcart. I have been writing to them and have gotten no response and am a little worried. I know that Cheryl travels a lot and it's possible she hasn't checked her email, but I'm most concerned about Mike - he always responded. Any news would be most appreciated.
