Mi Corazon Es Tuyo #114 A hit to the groin instead of a cigar.

Daniela Romo is off stage now and Ana is still reeling from the magic of the moment. She tells Soledad that the one thing that she remembers about her is her singing. They express their love for each other again. Angel comes back from seeing Daniela with a bag of fan goodies, a poster, a t-shirt, and a cd.

Isa is still at Enrique’s discussing his poor performance as the president of La Costaña. He sneers at her as she tells him that the finance officer gave her the grim details of the financial health of the company. She tells him that no one wants him heading up the company and that he’s cray cray. He asks what she wants, she says she wants the company to run like it used to, you know, healthily. She has a lot at stake for the company to make money since she can’t live on the pittance that Fernando is giving her, she needs to be the president. He tells her that she will not take the company away from him, grabs her neck and starts to squeeze. Go Enrique Go!

At the hormone hotel, the mansion living room, Pablo is showing Alicia a picture of his hunky brother and Alicia approves whole heartedly, guau. Fernando enters and tells him it’s time for him to go home, and Alicia adopts her whiny voice to object because it always lets her get her way. Just then the doorbell rings.

Back to the strangling. Enrique just needs to squeeze a little harder and she will go down. Just then she gasps for enough air to tell him to stop, the baby in her womb is his!!!!!!  Enrique is taken aback. Then he gets his rage on again asking why she lied to him. Because you’re cray cray, duh. No, she said because she didn’t think he wanted a baby and she had nicely trapped a rich man into marrying her.  Since his father died, he wants a child he says. Well, don’t say anything to Fernando. (She’s really not that smart, is she.) He informs her that he is so going to use it to bribe her, starting with her desire to take the presidency away from him. No, that’s not going to happen now, haha.
Ok, the best part of the whole fight....
She knees him hard in the groin and he falls on the floor, unconscious, no less. Wow, that must have been well aimed!

Torres, the financial officer, was the person at the door, and he’s now talking to Fernando in his office. He is desperate and needs to tell Fernando. Enrique Basurto’s orders are causing a serious breakdown in the company.

Daniela comes out to the dining room and is introduced to Ana. Ana overreacts like we expect......She mistakes Ana for Angel’s novia. Soledad tells her that Ana is her hija, and Daniela obviously knows her story. She gets up to leave, pulls Angel aside and tells him that she knows him well enough to know he’s in love with Ana. And in typical TN fashion, he admits that he’s in love with someone he doesn’t even know and has only had 2 conversations with.

Back at the office, Torres convinces Fernando to intervene. Fernando calls Isa, who thinks she just killed Enrique. He tells her that he’s concerned by what Torres told him and he’s only getting involved because he’s a stockholder and he loves the company. Isa feigns innocence about the downfall and that it’s Enrique’s fault. He wants to speak to her tomorrow morning. He asks if she’s talked to Enrique about this yet, and she is clearly having difficulty remaining sane and calm, and says no she hasn’t talked to him yet because she’s not sure if he’s dead or not, lol. Que?

Jen and Jonny do a commercial for La Costaña during the show. (Come on, La Costaña is spending a lot of money on this show)

Angel takes Ana and Soledad home and she invites him in for coffee.

Fernando, still on the phone with Isabela, wants to know what she's is talking about, and she tells him it’s nothing. He goes on about what they have to do next to stop the bleeding of the company’s finances, and she asks him how to take a pulse. Que? Fernando hangs up on the crazy woman. Isabela takes Enrique’s pulse. She notices he’s breathing, darn!

Ana goes into the office to check on Fernando after Bruno told her that he seems very tense in there. Fer tells her the odd things that Isa said, and Ana thinks it could be real since she’s cray cray. Ana is introduced to Torres who falls in love with her too. This woman must just exude pheromones that make men fall instantly in love with her. Jonny, Fernando, Diego, Angel, now Torres. Anyway Ana leaves and Torres pleads with Fernando to come back to the company.

Isa calls YoMama and tells her what happened and that she called an ambulance. Just then the ambulance shows up. Isa tells the viewers that the moment Enrique wakes up, everything is over for her. I think she should have killed him. Maybe he’ll get amnesia. The police are investigating what happened. She tells him that she came over to work, he was drinking and he got dizzy and fell. He notices marks on her neck. He asks if they had a fight. She denies it.

Fernando comes out of the office and Angel takes his leave. Fernando agrees to take Soledad home and Ana will come with them.

León shows up late to visit Fanny wearing a black mask? bringing coffee for her because she still has a lot of studying to do tonight. Ok. What he really came for was to kiss her, he misses her.

Ana arrives back to her room and sees a note by her bed. Fernando says to meet at the usual place at the usual time (in the kitchen at 2:00am). Next to the letter is a piece of chocolate cake, and she remembers the orgasmic response to the cake she had the time they had dinner together at a restaurant.

Fernando gets a call from Torres that Enrique is at the hospital and that Isabela told him that Enrique had too much to drink and he fell and hit his head. The doctors haven’t come out yet to tell them anything. (Will the doctors notice that it isn’t his head that has the bruise?) Fernando said to keep him advised. Fernando wants to know why Isa didn’t tell him anything. YoMama shows up at the hospital. She notices the marks on Isa’s neck and asks what happened. Isa tells her that Enrique tried to strangle her, and she had to tell Enrique that the baby is his in order to get him to stop strangling her.
Ana shows up for her “date”. Fernando has the kitchen counter lined with candles, probably Bruno had to do it since Fernando was in bed before this. He has something to ask her. She’s sure he’s going to ask her to marry him, or at least be his novia, but he asks her if she wants to take dance lessons with him. Que?

Back at the hospital, YoMama asks out loud to a sleeping Isabela, who did you involve yourself with, what type of monster is the father of your child?

Ana asks why dance lessons. Fernando wants to show her that he’s trying to change for her, be more spontaneous and relaxed, to step outside the box, do something that’s different for him. Will she do it? Yes. She becomes a bit agitated that he’s trying to get too close now as he leans in for a kiss.
He then tells her that he got a call from Torres about Enrique being in the hospital. And about the concern about the business, and that Isa is the VP of it. Ana didn’t know that. He want’s to get involved with the company because so many employees depend on it. He then gets up and dances with her without music. Ana relaxes and decides to enjoy herself.

Back at the hospital the next morning, Torres informs Isa and YoMama that Enrique is in a coma. Wow! Nice knee work Isabela!

Avances: Ana tells Soledad her big secret.

We will happily wait for you, cathyx! I will wait to comment after you posted. I will just say that I had a few moments last night wondering where this story is headed.

Fatima

Good grief! My English and syntax are horrible.

I will wait for you to post.

I know it will be good. :)

Fatima

All I know is, what a failure to launch. It was more bizarre/uncomfortable, the scene at 2 am with Ana & Fernando, than most with Juan & Jenny.

Lukewarm warning to Angel by Soladad too

Thank you, Cathyx. Great recap, hitting all the right marks on craziness, absurdity and humor.

I sure didn't see the incapacitation of Enrique coming! How convenient, however, for him to be gone, Isabela and Fernando to be collaborating again to save the company and Ana outcast after the big reveal.
Am I imagining that this is the direction we are taking?

I like Soledad but geez, after 30 years away from each other, it seems like some quiet time together would be in order. Her match-making seems a bit over the top to me.

Hi Cathyx. Thanks for the excellent recap. You really give us the gist of all of the conversations.
When Enrique went down, he hit a bookcase, I believe, and something heavy fell on his head.
Denise

Gracias, Cathy.

Good aim and good timing on Hissabela's part, but we'll see how long Enfrique remains unconscious. I'm already wondering whether he will have amnesia when he wakes up due to the number of episodes remaining.

Thank you CathyX! Your super recap much appreciated as always, so thorough and full of interesting tidbits.

It looked like when Enrique fell, a lamp or something was knocked off the table and hit him on the head, so that could have contributed to his "injury". Enrique's reaction to finding out he is the father was kinda creepy...when he wanted to put his hands on Isa's stomach I found my self thinking "oh, ick...".

J in O

Thank you cathyx for the recap. And yes, I believe it was the caraf of alcohol that fell off of the bookcase and hit Reeky in the head.

I woke up at 3:00 am for some reason and was thinking about the previews when Ana tells Sol about her second job. This is pure speculation but maybe Dorteo is Ana's father! Remember how Sol would not discuss him or even give a name to Ana?!? I have not watched ahead so this is not spoiler.

LoriLoo

OMG, LoriLoo, that would be beyond horrible. She doesn't deserve that. However....

If he knew Soledad in the biblical sense at the right time maybe she could pull a Hissabela to get him to let Ana go. It would be worth a shot.

LoriLoo, if Doroteo were Ana's father, then that's her out from being enslaved by him. That would be incredible, ha.

Thank you, Cathyx!

I watched the last three episodes today. Wow! Lots happened quickly!

Enfrique was literally saved by the bell; Isabruja fully intended to kill him. I do not understand how Yomama can be surprised by the evil spawn she raised. Isabruja inherited her love of money from her mama. And as the Good Book says, "Love of money is the root of ALL evil." This phrase certainly applies to Isabruja.

Why, since Jenny moved out of the mansion, does she revert to wearing tacky pre-teen clothes and scads of cheap bracelets? Sigh . . .

Ana looked beautiful in her reunion dress and in her dress she wore for the dinner with Sol and Angel. Why does she have to ruin her beautiful looks by screeching?

Even though I am not a Fernanduh fan, I thought the 2:00 a.m., chocolate-cake date idea was super sweet. (Pun intended;))

Cathyx and UA: that is what I was thinking that if he is her father, he would have to let her out of her so called contract. But, but horror of horrors to have such a father!

Speaking of bad fathers (and mothers), once it is out that Reeky is the baby daddy, he and Issy can't be left with a baby to raise so..... yes I'm going to that place where Nico and Jen will adopt the baby.

Gracias cathyx. I only caught 15 minutes at the end of the episode so appreciate your recap so much.

But woooo--Loriloo. What an idea!! After hearing Soledad say she never heard from the guy and he took all her money, I did think we will see some jerk down the road, but hadn't thought about Doro. Hmmm, guess he's old enough. But yuk, poor Ana. Maybe that's where she got the screeching from.

I'm already bummed about sweet Angel being "in love" with Ana and we know he's doomed on that front. I still vote for Jen! And a much better future parent pairing for the unwanted Iseeky baby. TO quote Star Trek....Make It So writers. I gave up on Nico.

Good way to keep Eeky in the story without a clue how to write him in. Keep him in a bed in a coma as a constant possible threat. Solves that. Now we get Fer and Isa back together in the workplace? Set up if I ever saw one...just in time for Ana's Chicago reveal?

I hope the writers will surprise us otherwise I think we will all have this figured out for the next 50 or so episodes. If they keep Johny as a bachelor at the end, I will stick through.

Daisynjay

Lenin molests me as much as Johnny annoys you guys. Is the actor playing Lenin one of Osorio's kids?

I totally left out Sebastian's dream where he's dancing a waltz or something with Sarai in a competition and winning. After watching the children on El Sabado, or whatever show it is where children are dancing in competition, these two looked like you'd expect 2 child actors with zero experience to dance. Maybe they should take lessons with Ana and Fernando.

Thank you so much, cathyx!!

Isabella is an oddly written character. Twice now, she has felt no qualms about taking a life. Her asides to the camera were not funny last night. Enfrique is a jerk of the highest order, but she really wanted to kill that man so that SHE would not be out of money. Yolanda wasn't helping things, either. Yolanda was not amusing last night.

Fatima

Fatima, I think she was really bothered by the idea that she may have killed him. Her aside to the audience was about how her life will now be different with Enrique knowing her big baby daddy secret. I was the one saying that she should have killed him to keep her secret.

Thank you Cathyx.

Wow, I think Mayrin is doing a bang up job as Isabela. Why isn't she in the movies?

When Fernando goes back to the company (we all knew he would) he should send Isabela home (but he won't).

I felt as let down as Ana, again. That build up, candles, romantic lead up, and nothing. You wanna dance and by the way I'll be working everyday with Isabela. Angel's timing is perfect so we'll get to watch her kissing him for a month. Soladad should be happy.

cathyx, ah, ok and thank you.:)

BTW, I couldn't believe the commercial going on between Jennys and the FOOL Johnny with the La Costena products. I think these product placements are getting crazier and crazier.

However, on some level, they must work as I find myself looking at Toyota Tundra's these days and wondering if it is just as fancy as the model we saw on "Robo".

Fatima

Thank you, cathyx, for the very entertaining recap. I especially enjoyed the title.

Best question of the episode:
Fernando to Pablo: "Aren't they missing you at home?" Very funny!

I really liked:

The choking of Isabela and kneeing of Enrique.

Yolanda trying to talk Isabela out of finishing Enrique off.

Sebastian's dream of him and Saraí winning with their tango dance routine. They were so cute!

Siete joining Fernando in his bed.

The candle and chocolate extravaganza Fernando prepared for Ana.

Again Fernando is trying to be all that Ana wants and there is no sign of her telling him the truth anytime soon. This is only going to get uglier and uglier.

Jarifa

Meanwhile, the big brother of Alejandro's Tundra, from LQLVMR, can been seen doing real "macho" work (not silly stuff like carrying around luggage and/or kids) on the hacienda of "Los Herederos del Monte".

This Tundra is a powerhouse of horsepower, doesn't mind getting its feet wet or dirty and loves to play in the mud!

It's my guess that it will scatter the bad guys to Kalamazoo or beyond and bring the god guys and their sweetheartsite home to the ranch, safe and sound before the end of the show.

Meanwhile, this boy is working for a living, not just parked on a city street!

And boy does Mario Cimarro look good driving his Tundra with his cowboy hat on !

Marta,
Thanks for the lyrics to DR's song yesterday which is one of my favorites.
In case my post from yesterday got lost after all that spam junk, I wanted to repost ithe below for all those who like Daniela Romo:

Daniela Romo - Explorame: http://youtu.be/M2IaxMGzyf8

Daniela Romo - Quiero amanecer con alguien: http://youtu.be/3BNhvUNf2yk

Enjoy:

Victoria, thank you for that link! What a song, eh?

Those men on "Herederos" are not bad looking, I must say (insert "wink" emoticon here). :))

Fatima

Thanks, Cathyx!

I'd forgotten the part about Pablo's older brother. Another suitor for Fanny, perhaps?

Thanks Fatima:

I think DR is so sensual in her video "Explorame". I like her voice and wonder why her recording career didn't bring in bigger record sales.

Victoria, that's a good question. I'll bet Vivi in DC would have a good answer!

Fatima

I'm so sorry that I don't often comment. It is mostly because I often don't get to read the recaps until well after the day they are posted. That said, I wanted to take a moment, this time of year, to thank all the recappers! I started watching TNs for my spanish, but fell in love with them because Caray Caray is so much fun to follow. So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank all the recappers and commenters of this community and wish you a wonderful holiday season and happy new year!

But while I'm at it, can I just say I think the reason that Ana continues to play hard to get (or hard to forgive) is because she really can't say yes until the big confess. Also, unless I misunderstood, I thought that when he was telling Sol how Ana would understand and just be happy to see her, one of the words he used to describe Ana was HONEST. It's clear to me that this is going to be about honesty and trust more than seedy men's club. After all, he did fall for her as "Lola."

I have been thinking that Jenny and Nico would end up adopting the baby of the girl at the shelter Fanny met btw, and on a last note, the whole line of Sebas in love with Sarai is a little icky. Aren't they a little young? Sarai doesn't look that much older than Luz!

Big thanks and happy new year again!
Rebecca

I'm guessing that this child actress can't be more than 8 years old. This is a bit icky because the actor playing Sebas is probably about 12.

Ana needs to tell Fernando about Chicago NOW. During week 2 of her employment at the mansion would have been better. She was already a heroine for getting Luz to talk and getting the kids in line. Fernando might have been disposed to do the generous thing and pay off her debt to Doroteo.

But then we wouldn't have had a story.

Rebecca, ITA. It is more about honesty and trust not the fact she is an erotic dancer. I also agree, the reason she won't relent to Fernando is it will force her to come clean and she won't. I just wonder, and hope we find out tonight, will Soledad encourage her to fess up or continue to lie, knowing Fernando loves her. Fanny continues to encourage Ana to tell but Ana always changes the subject.

Great recap as always!

-Why oh why can't it be Johnny that's in a coma???

-Ana has many appealing qualities, mainly there is a kind of warmth in how she talks to people and she knows what to say to comfort people...but the screeching is horrendous!

With regards to Ana not telling Fernando about Chicago, I keep replaying in my head the scene when Isabruja was leaving the mansion after Fernando finally asked her to leave and had her apartment ready.

Isabruja was spewing venom at Ana saying she would return to the mansion in better terms than Ana could ever imagine and she was looking forward to the day when she would squash Ana under her foot like a bug --- or something to that effect.

I think that's what we have to look forward to after Chicago comes out of the woodwork.

Victoria, I am afraid you are right. between Isa's prediction and Fernando admiring Ana for being honest... yup, doom is coming... hoefully it is short lived.

and ITA, tofie, that the late night Ana/Fernando date in the kitchen was a let down for Ana... she thought the big event was about her and Fernando having a date... then the next night she expects the 2am meeting is a proposal and again she strikes out...

UA, i think two weeks after Ana came in the house would have been too early... sometime between Ana meets Diego and Ana writes that confession to Fernando that Diego ate would have been great. Ideally it would have waited until after the Nando accident but that happened, I believe, after Fernando and Isa's weekend at Malinalco so Isa could have separated them by repeating to Fernando what Ana could have been doing at CHicago.

Telling him now...
if she doesn't tell him herself, it will be that much worse for him to learn it from someone else, esp someone like Isa...
and when he finds out, esp if Isa gets her way and gets to come back in the house and he sends Ana packing (which we know will happen, at least temporarily), Fernando will have to weigh out Isa's nagging about what it means for Ana to work at the CHicago vs everyone else's opinion... and how the kids will suffer Ana's absence...
When Diego finds out about Fernando's reaction he will not be happy either...
and if Fernando takes too long to come to his senses, then Ana has Angel to deal with (Fernando might not give her many good reasons to keep Angel at bay instead of giving him a chance (which she probably won't do given what happened when she did give Diego some hope). Besides, Soledad has already subtly given Angel a warning that Ana is taken for good... but you never know depending on how Fernando hurts and rejects Ana when he learns about the CHicago.
Use the Lola card? I still say it would be a mistake. We all know it is not about her working there as much as about her keeping that fact from him.
I wish Bruno (or Soledad) would tell Angel what he told Fernando 'love is not what one wants to feel but what one feels without wanting to'. (amor no es lo que uno quiera sentir sino lo que uno siente sin querer)

it will be interesting to see how Soledad reacts and the advice she gives Ana tonight when Ana gives her the news...

Just to think that Fernando would let Isabruja back in the mansion after all she has done (Sebastian, especially) makes me sick to my stomach.

There is no circumstance under which Fernando should let Isabela back into that house and think it dubious allowing her to work at the company. Forget what he did to Ana, it's what she did to his own children. He'll really be on my dodo list.

Just wanted to say I agree with all who say Fer cannot let Isa back in the house. If he does, and those of you with more TNs under your belt than I say it will be and I, therefore, begrudgingly believe, then he is BEYOND an idiot! He's seen Isa accuse Ana of stealing, knows what he did to Sebas, seems to suspect she tried to poison Siete, and caught her red handed with regard to Soledad. Really?! That woman under your roof with your kids? Preposterous!

Rebecca. ITA that Fernando SHOULD have seen enough evil come out of Isa to try to keep her away from anyone he cares about...
Having said that, and this is totally my guess... given my over 30 yrs worth of telenovela watching, leading men, esp those with the selective memory Fernando has demonstrated so far, tend to forget all the bad about the villains but have sharpshooter memory of the bad about the good girls... just sayin... i am bracing for the worst and if it doesnt happen i will be happy.

Rebecca: love your idea about Jen, Nco and the baby.

Due to technical issues, tonight's might be posted late. I apologise to my readers in advance.
