♥ Mi Corazón es Tuyo ♥ Lunes 12/8/14 ♥ #100 ♥

Capitulo 100: Notte de la Bella Luna

Lascuráin Mansion: Johnny Bugbuster told the family that they couldn't go back into the house because of the fumes. All the kids complained, each for their own reason; fortunately Siete was outside and safe, still in the costume the twins dressed him in. Ana finally approached the door. She suggested they camp outside on the grounds and have fun with it. Fernando didn't seem to have a lot of patience for this, but everyone did their share and they pitched tents and tiki torches for the night.

Later Fernando flirted with Ana, which did not go unnoticed by the kids.

Wait, where is the ferret?” asked Artemis. “He can't be in that house with all that poison!”

I made sure he escaped,” said Hermes. “I love that species.”

Margarita's Apartment: León told his mother about catching Lenin about to kiss Fanny. Margarita teased him about his jealousy. He was not cool with this. He was getting more and more angry by the minute.

Lascuráin Mansion: As they grilled hotdogs and did marshmallow and chocolate fondue, Lenin texted Fanny to get her to look at the moon. It was a full Cosmo Casterini moon and Lenin's text was not platonic. In fact, it started to sound a little pornographic. She looked a little weirded out.

Johnny apologized to Fernando, who told him not to worry about it; he was having a nice “adventure” with his family. The twins confused Johnny again as to who was who. Ana passed out blankets. Johnny offered to tell another story. Ana scolded Nando for paying attention to his laptop and the girls with their devices as Johnny began telling one of his bizarre ghost/horror stories. Ana pretended fear along with the kids, finally digging her nails into Fernando's thigh, which made him cry out in pain. Amusement ensued among the kids, who probably thought he was pretending fear along with them. Fanny mimed playing the violin to this.

Hospital: The doctor told Nick he could go home the next day. He was in one more day because of the earlier incident. The nurse came in with a stethoscope to check his heart.

Margarita's Apartment: Margarita reminded León that he didn't behave this way when Enfrique chased Fanny. He said that was different, but Margarita didn't see it that way. She pointed out that Fanny was beautiful, intelligent, from a rich family, and that she loved him in spite of his comparative poverty and lying by omission. She warned him that Fanny would get annoyed with his attacks of jealousy and this could backfire on him. Margarita told her son he had self-esteem issues and he needed to work on that.

Listen to your madre, León,” said Aphrodite. “No woman likes an insecure man for long.”

Lascuráin Mansion: Edith had told Fanny about her attack. Fanny realized that her situation with Enfrique was different because Edith was a child when hers happened. She had been defenseless. But she had survived. Edith speculated on whether love really existed.

Nando took his laptop out again, Ana scolded him again, and he asked for a chance to explain. He showed her the screen, which was a notice that they were looking for Soledad Fuentes and would pay for information. He and Fernando told her they did this to help her find her mother. She kissed Nando in gratitude. As she tried to kiss Fernando, Nando got out of their way, a little embarrassed.
Ana and Fernando sat together and she thanked him, allowing him to caress her face.

Hospital: Natalia told Diego how she seen her father die when she was 12. They were in a war zone where her father was taking pictures. He was shot before her eyes and that was when she lost her sense of happiness.

What business did that man have taking a child into a war zone?”

Now, Hera, what's the point in getting upset about this now? It's not like we can rewrite history.”

I know, Athena. But parents are supposed to protect their children, like Fernando is trying to. Natalia deserved better than that.”

Bruja Central: Yomama was enjoying margaritas with Ramona... until Isabruja entered and disrupted it. She got on her mother's case about fraternizing with servants and threatened to fire Ramona if this happened again. Ramona exited, taking a drink with her. Yolanda yelled at Isabruja that whom else would she drink with now that Isabruja was pregnant. Yomama started talking about Doroteo and Isabitch commented on what nonsense this was. She had been working. At Yomama's shopping comment she said that the gift was for Enrique's secretary, whom she intends to get on her side. Isabela revealed that she intended to become president of La Costeña and kill Siete. Yomama told her that the latter was a soulless act.

Now there's a parent and child who won't end any better,” said Athena. “For all her intelligence Isabela has a real zero of a soul.”

Definitely. And you notice she doesn't even use the word 'Mamma' anymore? Doesn't that sound disrespectful?”

Indeed it does, Hera. But that will have payback. I promise.”

Lascuráin Mansion: Just as Fernando and Ana were about to kiss and the other kids withdrew, Alicia became childishly nagging to get her dad's cell phone to call Pablo. (Author's comment: I would have put her in Time Out mode over that one.) She got his phone and called Pablo to tell him that they have her dad's permission to see each other. Just as he jumped up and down on the couch about that, Fernando confiscated the phone.

Ana checked on the younger kids, who were all sleeping in the same tent. They asked if she was going to join them, but she said that would not be correct. They each said she was wrong and that it was correct. She conceded that she had been outvoted and got them to pray to their guardian angel. She kissed all of them and they wrestled.

Edith confided to Fanny that she digs Nando, which did not bother Fanny; she actually approved. Edith then went right over to Nando and told him she digs him for his brain, not his looks. She kissed him big time and Fanny went “OMG” but was somewhat amused as she watched Edith go for seconds.

Bull's eye!” said Eros. “Now that's the girl who can break that Nerd disguise!”

 Apollo applauded.  Good job, son.”

Fernando checked on the younger kids and Ana, who had fallen asleep. He went over to her and said “Te amo, Ana.” He finally kissed her and she woke up talking about tarantulas. She said she had had some kind of nightmare. She thanked him again for helping find her mother. As he touched the boys Ana grabbed his hand in what could be interpreted as a suggestive gesture and he realized that he had to back off for the moment. Luz also moved a little, so she must also have been feigning sleep.

Nando broke the kiss, wondering what this was all about. Edith was a little embarrassed, but recovered in front of him. He told her he had a girlfriend, wrapped himself in a blanket, and went over to his dad. Edith was mortified and told Fanny who was sympathetic, telling her she would have to be patient about Nando. Fernando was telling Alicia he was paternally jealous of Pablo. She seemed to understand and excused herself, leaving her dad, Nando, and Bruno to hang out. Bruno appeared to daydream and father and son asked him what that was about.

Bruja Central: They argued over the fattening nature of potato chips and some other points of their ongoing conflict. Isabruja said she wanted it all, not just the presidency. Not this pocilga, either. She wants it all.

Lascuráin Mansion: Nando said the full moon brought a lot of surprises, but didn't say what. Fernando figured out that Bruno missed Manuela. Bruno started explaining that he and Manuela were so different he didn't think they were compatible but realized that he missed her. He felt embarrassed at being in need of love. Fernando said that this is a human condition. Bruno worried that he himself was the reason she lost her job. He asked permission to look for her.

Bruja Central: Isabruja complained about there being nothing to eat in the house. Yomama had eaten all the pistachio nuts as Isa tore into a package of cookies, annoyed that Yomama was watching another novela. Yomama told her she lacked anything spiritual. Isabitch said that she did believe in something, but couldn't believe that she had not been fortunate in love. She then said that there were only two things of importance, money and power. Since they wanted to be rich she would have to do it through work, getting rid of Enfrique if necessary. Then they fought over the remote.

Lascuráin Mansion: Fanny came to talk to her dad about Maricela, whose friend had left the casa, further explaining that girls were allowed to leave at 15. She didn't know if Maricela was worried about anything in particular about her friend. She asked him to help her find Claudia and he agreed.
She went to bed and he was alone staring at the moon. He told God that he was always asking for things but rarely expressing gratitude.
He thanked God for saving his father and his brother and for his seven kids and for sending him Ana, whom he envisioned kissing.

Comments:
I was having some technical problems earlier, so there aren't many photos tonight. I'm trying to cut down the number because of the amount of time this takes, so I ask your indulgence.

Urban, the recap and Olympian commentary was wonderful as usual. No problem with the amount of photos. Good advice from Aphrodite for León.

The funniest part was Yolanda drinking with the maid. I sure hope she goes rogue and does some pole dancing soon.

My favorite part was the end with Fernando giving thanks for all he has. It was so calm and peaceful. We know that can't last long.

Of course it wont, with at least another 80 episodes to go.

It's time for Ana to fess up.

What's with the Robot thing again?

Urban, no worries, your own unique style of recapping is splendid even without the photos. And I enjoyed your Cosmo Castorini reference ("Moonstruck", one of my fave movies).

The family camp-out sounded good in theory but I kept thinking how cold and uncomfortable they all looked.
Brrr!!! However, I did enjoy Johnny's ghost story! And yesss! Bruno off on a mission to find Manuela.

UA, this was a wonderful recap! Don't worry about photos, your words bring vivid images to mind again for us.

So, I'm going out on a limb here and guess that Leon doesn't listen to his mother and starts to go the jealousy route, maybe even punching out Lenin. Which of course will tick off Fanny just as his mother predicted and she'll dump him, at least for awhile. That whole "this close" tirade by him was like watching a time bomb. Good slap up the back of the head was needed.

The rest of the episode had it's moments of sweet, but I have to admit to being frustrated again on the mooning eyes and close kisses with Ana and Fer when the kids are around. So help me, just become official already, but if she starts spouting the "I can't love you because you chose Isa" again, I'll blow. Just rings too false against her obvious actions.

Sebas sure got the best of that sleep-out with Ana. Thought it was a little weird to see a 10-11 year old cuddling with his hand on her thigh, but hey, he's the producer's kid so he got prime position versus Luz who would have made more sense.

I didn't think Edith would suddenly have Nando fall for her with that kiss, he's still too loyal to Ximena who hasn't been gone that long, but I'm hoping that plants a seed for him?

So now Isa is going to turn on EEky. Now that could be fun to watch that. But DO NOT hurt that dog!

This is great UA, no apologizes needed.

"“Bull's eye!” said Eros. “Now that's the girl who can break that Nerd disguise!”

Was funny when Edith approached Nando and said she was attracted to his intellect not his looks.

I think Leon is justified in being worried. Fanny knows she and Lenin are too close and she loves the attention. Edith & Ana know. They're likely to make Leon seem some whacked out jealous bf but something is cooking.

Despite Isabela's obvious failings with kids and the way she mishandled Ana, I can see her as CEO and not Ricky. How in the world Ricky could even keep a job is a mystery to me.

UA... ditto on the others reply about the photos, the recap and the comments/reactions from Mount Olympus are way more than enough...
i too loved: "“Bull's eye!” said Eros. “Now that's the girl who can break that Nerd disguise!”

My fav moments were the close scenes with Ana and Fer... and also the 'besos tronados bout' between Ana and the kids in the tent.

I'd say she abused Ana, but that is even putting it mildly.

Isabruja probably could run the company, but I wonder. She can't manage her own finances and she had to have had a resume of past jobs or she couldn't have gotten hired in the first place. I'm beginning to wonder if she isn't self-destructive.

Thank you, Urban. A great recap with wonderful commentary. I will miss the goddesses when this novela ends!

This was a sweet episode in general, with Fernando at his best with the kids. The revelations from Edith continue to be painful and I think she is going to need something more than Nando's attention -- though he did seem to like what the full moon brought him!

I love Ramona. She is the perfect foil to Yolanda and Isabela. Sometimes the best moments are from the minor characters.

If Bruno leaves, the house goes even further downhill. Johnny will be illustrating the weakness of his other one-day careers. I do enjoy some of his moments with the kids, who seem to appreciate him more than we do!

O.M.G. - to quote Fanny. Mati, I hadn't even thought about that: Bruno leaving and who is left. I could cry--would Fer be dumb enough to allow Johny to become the major domo/butler? Oh, please lord, NO!

I need to go breathe into a paper bag.

Thanks for the wonderful recap and saving the ferret!

For someone who has been sexually abused, Edith forcing herself on Nando seemed wrong.

I'm glad Fer warmed to the camping idea. I still don't understand how they don't have a guest house with a mansion that large.

Poor Leon has lost so much he is going to self destruct his relationship with Fanny because he wants to hold on too tight.

I wish Ana's mom would come into the picture. She seems like a very strong woman who could take down Doro and Isa for Ana.

Loved the Ana and Fer scenes but I just want them to make out already! :)

Siete dies. I'm done.

So do we all. I've been waiting for these two to finally make out even if it has to be PG rated.

I want to see the ferret play with Siete.

We also now know Doroteo's last name. He will so make a fool of Yomama, but I'd rather Yomama embarrass Zerobela a bit more.

80 episodes or so. Well, that means about four months which will take us into late March. Always good to know what is left.

Jarifa

Don't worry about Siete, he will outsmart Isa.

Thanks UA,awesome recap. This family is so bonded in love. Wonder why Ana keeps missing opportunities to come clean about Chicago. The longer it takes, the worse it would be. Just had a nightmare!! what if her boss at the Chicago turns out to be her father. cancelo! cancelo! He is so mean and greedy, that could be the best punishment for him. oh, we need to find her mother first. Scared myself there for a minute.

Hanna

That one has never occurred to me, but it would certainly be a fit punishment for him... if he had anything resembling a conscience. He doesn't.

Doroteo Arango will meet an ugly end because he deserves to. But the writers might be playing with this idea, hence the latest delay in reuniting Soledad and Ana.

What is worrying me now is what Soledad will think of her and her night job. Also, how Fernando will ultimately find out about it.

Thanks UA.
I don't get the need to post on the internet to find Soledad. They found out her name with not much info to go on, now they have her full name. Can't they hire a detective to find her? That can't be that hard.

Thanks UA, for another great recap. As always, above and beyond...

Sorry I've been missing for awhile from the discussion, but I've been keeping up and appreciate the wonderful recaps and comments.

I'm confident that the weasel is safe and sound... he doubtless is a member of the same powerful Rodents Union that protects the interests of our chubby rats.

This TN has overall been disappointing for me. I simply do not appreciate the comedic skills of the two main characters. I've enjoyed both Sylvia Navarro and Jorge Salinas in the past but this is the second time I've seen them together (this and Labios Rojos) and think that both should stick to dramas.

I'm delighted that many here are appreciating the enormous talent of Carmen Salinas. I'm also getting a kick out of the tone that Mayrín Villanueva has taken with her character and especially enjoy her conspiratorial asides with us. And then there's the delectable Luz... what a treat.
