MI Corazon es Tuyo #109, 12/19/14: Oh, Belaaaaaa! Yo' Ti-i-i-i-i-ime Is Uh-h-h-h-h-p!

The Rehash

The docs in Houston (amazing how well the stars in this telenovela pronounce this city’s name) remind Don Fernando that the best next step is to ship Diego off to Basil, Switzerland for months and months of rehabilitation.  [Suiza—has a “z” as opposed to Suecia, Sweden, which has “ice” appropriately enough, spelled backward in it, for those of you who remember our crazy discussions about this a couple of years ago.]

Back in the Mexico City suburbs, a very flustered Soledad leaves our Dr. Angel of Mercy, refusing his offer to accompany her to Isabela’s/Blanca’s apartment.  (Viewerville is so very curious to know what this guy’s and Sol’s history is together that he should treat her like so much like his… his own mother,  HMMMM?)  He kisses her good-bye, they exchange blessing’s and she’s off, he with a smile of blissful satisfaction at having done yet another good deed.

Back in his hospital room, a still rather dazed Diego seems anything but nonplussed by his opportunity to travel to the freezing Swiss Alps for his hand-rehab stint.  He turns to Ferd and tells him that he wants nothing more than for him to return to the D.F. to win back Ana.  Fernando doesn’t take much convincing and plans to arrive back that evening.

Meanwhile, Pissabela can’t handle the grand time she’s had pulling one over on Ana’s mother with the fraudulent claim of being her abandoned daughter and runs to the bathroom to “relieve” herself.

Soledad crosses paths in the meantime with a nanny and her five charges and the call of the blood begins to trumpet ever so softly…..

The News Flash:

Sebastian tries to connect with the woman dressed in red—the stranger, as Ana warns him off of speaking to strangers.  She seemed about to cry and he felt her pain……  Bad news that she was “looking” at them so strangely for such a long time.

Back at Lux Manor, Leon and Fanny secretly watch the endearing, adorable way that Mau and Luz interact, first discussing their two mothers’ deaths and their assimilation of the facts, and then their discussion of their two fathers’ new lady loves and their wishes that each would marry these women and make them their new mothers.

Downstairs again, Fanny and Leon flirt and remember “their song”—the show’s theme song and she sings a few bars….. FF>>FF>>

In the kitchen, Nando hasn’t been able to reach Edith on her cell phone.  He asks Fanny what’s up and she tells him to stop pressuring Edith.  She’ll tell him when she’s good and ready and Fanny’s lips are sealed, much as his was after the trip with their dad to the hacienda before.  "--A low blow, Sis!"

That evening Ana and the family return from the movie.  She tells them to go upstairs and find Sassy…er…Sarai to apologize for the nasty trick they played on her—and to mean it!

Soledad returns that evening to Angel’s apartment and tells him that she’s going to be a grandma but that rather than it being the greatest moment in her life, she’s unable to enjoy it because her “daughter” refuses to forgive her ever for having abandoned her.

Yolanda tries warning Pissybela off this fraudulent act, trying to pass herself off as Ana’s mother, but Pissy dismisses her warning and says she’ll take it as far as she can.

The twins’ apology is a waste, but Seb’s is rather heartfelt and Sarai, who is reading, receives his bouquet of peace with a flirty little smile.  He’s on cloud nine.  Puppy love gains and reigns anew……

Speaking of LUHHHHV, back in Angel’s apartment, he and Sol discuss the new lady interest in his life.  Her name is Ana and she’s perfect in every way.  What does he know about her availability?  Nada, since he and she didn’t exactly have time for that kind of q&a.  Speaking of which, Sol, hits a very flat note by asking him if he’s heard anything from his ex-wife.  Ooops!  Apparently that is still a very sore subject for our miracle médico.

Before Ferd heads back to the DF, Diego hands him a thank you gift, the album of photos from the session he had with Ana a while back.

Ana is in the kitchen, hears noise in the living room and since she’s not expecting anything or anyone, begins to fear ghost activity.  She’s just as shocked to see it’s Don Fernando back without having told anybody he was returning.  They grouse a bit over his “sneaking around” the place like that all the time.  He apologizes.  She wants to know why he’s back so soon.  Fernando takes her hand and kisses it.  They note that they both feel the same electricity flowing through them as the first time when he approached and took her hand.  “—as if our story was beginning again….”  She begins to fall into his love trap and then catches herself.  Nope! Nothing doing, she tells him.   So, what again was the reason he had to come back so soon?  “--No, it wasn’t for the kids, because they’d be and are sound asleep.”

Ferd takes her hands again and says he simply couldn’t lie to his heart.  He couldn’t stand one minute more without seeing her.  He caresses her face.   “—I came back because of you.  I came back because of the love of my life.”

Ana smiles and begins to swoon onto his chest and cuddle his neck—then…she catches herself and becomes Ms. Prim ‘n Proper, though she can’t help but smile at the heartfelt attempts poor Don F is making now.  (Naw, it’s more like Ms. Hard to Get.)  Best just to go into the kitchen and chat about avoiding her having a heart attack in the future due to his late night meanderings through the house over tea perhaps, they agree.
Ana and DF discuss Diego’s situation a bit.  Then, he hands her the photo album and she’s thrilled to see them again.  They flirt over them and make small talk.  Which is her good side?   Either, he tells her.  She bats her eyelashes at him and heads upstairs to bed leaving him with one heck of a case of the wants-but-cant’s.

Pushing towards the “finish line”, he heads upstairs after her to her bedroom and hands her a gift of expensive perfume.  She spritzes and bats the lashes a bit more, asking him for his opinion.  He asks her for another opportunity to win her over again and to make her happy.  He really loves her and it ain’t so easy for him this way.  Hmmm.  She looks like she just may say yes, but then, Luz is asleep in her bed and it just wouldn’t be right…..

Ana and Manuela head off to the supermarket.  She mentions to Don Ferd before leaving that she’s left a prescription for Luz on the table for him.  Later Ferd takes a look at the doc’s name and realizes he’d received an email stating the guy knew that Soledad.  He couldn’t find the email in his inbox or in the email trash bin and figures he just erased it by accident.   (Of course, that has Pissybela’s virtual fingerprints all over it!  Frustrated cries from all corners of Viewerville are screamed to the heavens.  Will the clod finally take some initiative and contact the doctor already!!????)  Ah-hah!  Ferd mentions the erased/missing email regarding this doc knowing Ana’s mom and is certain that Fate is at work here.  (Maybe it’s more like one or two of those few remaining synapses in Ferd’s brain finally made a connection and his 2-3 remaining brain cells finally shorted back on.  Lucky Ana.)

Across the boulevard, Soledad decides to bribe Blanca with a few cookies and another try with her pearly whites.   She leaves and Dr. Angel Dude gets a cell call from Don Ferd explaining that the email he received from him was erased.  There’s some confusion as Angel mentions he already spoke with his personal assistant regarding the matter.  Didn’t she mention anything to him?  Ferd explains that not only doesn’t he have a personal assistant but he doesn’t even have a job currently.  Angel gives him the address and directions to his apartment.

Meanwhile, Blancabela gripes to Ramona that she feels like a hippo disguised as an elephant – in a clown outfit (or close enough).  She bitches at the housekeeper and sends her off to wake up her mother so that the other mother will have somebody to chat with…..or whatever.  The baby starts kicking and she begins griping at it next.  (Poor kid!  Give it all ya got, kid!)

Back in the Lascurain’s kitchen, Ferd tells Bruno to keep mum about where he’s going and what he’s doing since the errand he’s running  has something to do with Ana’s mother.

Sole arrives at “Blanca’s” apartment.  She’s there to explain why she spent 18 long years in prison.  Blancabela tells her it doesn’t interest her in the least so not to waste her time.  She abandoned her and that’s all that matters.  She’s decided that she will NEVER forgive her for that.
At the same time, Ferd shows up at Angel’s place.  Angel gives him the backgrounder on the woman who came to him claiming she was there on behalf of Fernando Lascurain.  She arranged the meeting with Soledad and “Blanca,” the daughter.  Ferd tells him that that is not her daughter; that her daughter’s name is Ana Leal, his kids’ nanny, and that she’s been searching for her for years.

Meanwhile, Johnny arrives at Los Lascurain and tells Bruno that the fight’s been set and invites Bruno to come see him.  Ana returns and tries to find out where Don Ferd has gone.

Back at Dr. Dude’s place, Angel gives Ferd the address for “Blanca” and he exclaims that it’s Isabela’s apartment building.  He manages to put 2+2 together and come up with the HIssybelle as the culprit masquerading as Soledad’s daughter.  They decide to go together to see her immediately and to rescue Sole.

While Sole and Yo-Low discuss “Blanca’s” nasty disposition, Blancabela thinks seriously of slamming a metal trophy into the back of the woman’s skull and killing her, something certain to destroy Ana emotionally forever.  What a satisfying act of venganza, she tells thinks to herself.  Ramona walks in just as she’s decided to act on her black thoughts, asking about lunch.  Isa decides against eating and heads off to her bedroom.

A moment later, Sole asks if Blanca will ever forgive her.  Yo-low says of course.  After all she is her [real] mother.  Just then Ramona answers the doorbell.  Fernando and Angel push their way inside Blancabela’s apartment.  He starts demanding to see Isabela.  Sole asks Angel who that is.  Angel explains that these two have tricked them.  Fernando explains to Sole then that the woman she met her is not her daughter.  “—Your daughter is named Ana Leal.”  With that, hope springs anew in the broken hearted bosom of one Soledad Fuentes.  On the other hand, Blancabela’s got one heap of ‘splainin’ to do!!

Thanks, J. I will start by saying that the last two minutes of the espisode were utterly fantastic. Also liked seeing little Sarai smile!

Omg! I missed this episode! Gonna try and catch it online. Very much looking forward to this recap, thank you in advance!

OT: anyone know what happened to Hasta on the west coast? I turned on my tv after 9 to catch it and there was a news program on(?)

I catch the aftermath of this so I'm happy. I want to see Soledad bitch-slap Zerobela even if it's only verbally (prediction).

The end of this episode was so awesome. I was cheering when Fer met up with Angel and when they both arrived at Isa's I was over the moon. Monday is take down day! Isa can wheedle out this time!!

*cant*

I watched real time last night, and not "ON Demand"... With over 100 episodes, we must be getting near the end of this TN.

(BTW Cathyx, I am no longer watching for low cut dresses, and tight skirts, because they are too far and in between on this show...even the strippers are fully clothes.... Que the Heck )

Univision must have had a change at the top of programing because when watching "on demand", you don't get the commercials, or news breaks...I noticed last night that even the news and desportes female reporters are all covered up also...showing very little skin. I will watch Sabador Giante tonight to see if they have also conformed to what seems to be an overall change in attitude toward the old explortations of females.

Well by the time I figured out that this TN would not have the attractions of past TN comedies, with Mayvin and Cecilia as charaters, I was hooked on the storyline.... "Where is my mama", and "who do you love"... I came in over half way this TN, around episode 75 so I may have missed some things, but it seems to be wraping up with Diego being shipped off, Isabelanovela being exposed as a "fruitcake" and a "fraud" (she is still my favorite TN actress), and Don Fern well on the way to getting Ana's cookie...what else is left?

Oh well, just my two cents worth...

Lee

For the first time in this tn Fernando does something to show he has at least 3 brain cells.

Actually, this one doesn't end until March unless it's been extended.

LOVED LOVED your title, jardinera!!
glad you all enjoyed the show ending last night... and yes, Fernando FINALLY showed he still has some brain cells active.
and if you enjoyed the ending of last night, you will LOVE Monday and Tuesday episodes... MUST SEE TV!! and that's where my peeking into future eps ended last week. so after tuesday i am back to knowing nothing about it. but enjoy Monday and tuesday... hopefully if they pre=empt it won't be until wednesday.

Previously I was disappointed when it was revealed that Yolanda was not Ana's mom even after all the evidence seemed to point in that direction. During Soledad's meeting with Blanca/Isabel and Carmela/Yolanda, Soledad was asked where she got the guitar and she mentioned a man's name. It looked to me like there was a hint of recognition and an exchange of glances between Isabela and Yolanda when they heard that.

Could both Yolanda and Soledad have had some interaction with the same man? Dare I rekindle my hopes that Ana and Isabela are sisters? Wouldn't that be nifty?

Is it possible that Yolanda and Soledad preferring the same nail polish and knowing the same obscure lullaby is not coincidental?

And then, whom did Soledad kill? Maybe Isabela should be more careful about vexing her... she is capable of murder after all.

Carlos

UA, the problem is Soledad bitch-slapping anyone is out of her character... then again, a mother will go out of character for the sake of her kids... you will see. it is great stuff all around Ana and Soledad.

Carlos, the man they mentioned is the guy that had died, the one Diego met with the widow of before Fernando found out Soledad's last name. Diego was the first one that found out her name was Soledad and that she had spent time in prison and which prison. Fernando digged further to come up with her last name and Nando posted the search blog. but the first to make contact was Diego and he made the contact via this other woman who had been the wife of the guy Soledad mentioned. He met Soledad when she was playing guitar in public buses for a living. and he had given her the guitar. The details of what happened will be revealed next week. you will see.

I doubt Ana and Isa would be sisters. Yolanda's former husband was rich. the guy who gave Soledad the guitar was never rich.

While I love how it would vex Hissabela, Ana deserves better than to be related to her.

Marta,

Well heck. Oh well... Next!

Soledad does seem sweet and meek, but she did kill someone... maybe she could summon up a slap.

Carlos

What can Fernando do about Isabela anyway, get a restraining order. She works at the plant but he can't fire her, is having his child (he thinks), the divorce and terms final and Isabel broke no law. (Unless it could be proven she hacked his eM but she didn't take anything)

Can't wait for Jardinera's take on this episode!

Fernando has finally seen The Wizard! I could NOT believe it! He put two and two together so fast, even I did a double take!!

I loved, loved how Jorge Salinas portrayed his love for "Ana". It was so beautiful to watch and hear. That lucky Elizabeth Alvarez! She gets to her those words in real life every day. :))

The other thing I was thinking when watching Jorge and Silvia in that beautiful scene was how close we came to losing Jorge Salinas when he became horribly ill with the pulmonary embolus. Can you imagine losing this man?!

Carlos, I hope that the Bruja Isabella and Ana are not related. That would be a wee bit much for Ana to have to handle.

Interesting how Isabella goes one minute from wanting to emotionally harm someone to wanting to physically harm someone. She played the whole business of killing Siete as "nothing", but it is a cold, hard, heartless person who would deliberately kill an animal. I suppose she is too far along to lose her child, but a woman like this should not have a child.

Can you imagine a child of Enrique and Isabella?!

I still don't understand why Diego is being written off this show. His story is worth hearing and completing. If they want to write someone off, the Nico/Jennifer story line could use a new angle.

Fatima

Its too bad that Diego will be in Suiza and not around for the big reunion. It was his work that got the search off the ground and flying.

Fernando is in full woo mode but Ana isn't giving him anything in return but rebuff after rebuff. Yep, there is a swoon or two but otherwise nothing.

Was only able to catch the episode over a late lunch and watching Hulu. Oh my my my. Too bad Angel is supposed to fall for Ana because he and Fer would make a good bromance. Can not wait to see Isa taken down...bless her teeny corrupted heart. Yomama right along with her.

Also happy to get those few minutes of my new favorite pair, Luz and Mau. Give me a couple minutes per episode from here on out, and I'll be a happy camper. It will make up for the loss of Diego-- can't we ever have a sibling that isn't vying for the love interest and able to stick around?? Gees.

Daisynjay

Thanks in advance, Jardinera.

Loved the ending. I also loved the animated "electricity when Ana and Fernando touched and all of the kids having to hang on to Ana on the street so they would stay out of mischief.

Odd: eventhough we know Fernando is feeling alll guilty in reference to Diego and trying to be the best bro ever, it was strange to me that Fer seemed ready to go off to Switzerland with Diego for his rehab and Diego had to remind him he had SEVEN children depending on him at home and that Natalia was going with him and he'd be fine.

Ana is so good teasing Fernando.

Jarifa

Am I the only one who thought that it was a bit strange and awkward for Diego to give Fernando that photo album full of pictures he had spent most of a day taking while he was trying to win over Ana? I think that he should have just given it directly to Ana himself. It looked to me that it might have made Fernando somewhat uncomfortable. Neither he nor Ana looked beyond the first few photos and neither seemed to have much to say about it.

Diego didn't seem all that thrilled about going off to Switzerland with Natalia. He should be thanking his lucky stars that she has decided to stick this out with him.

I've no doubt that Sarai will be quickly won over by Ana and the others but I wonder if Luz will be affected by the shift of attention.

Carlos

No, Carlos, that was also weird. Sort of like he was "handing Ana herself" over to Fernando. Sort if creepy.

Jarifa

I agree, Carlos. I thought that was strange and he should have given that album to Ana.

I doubt Luz will have a problem. She is Daddy's Girl and she might even be able to take some credit for making changes in Sarai.

Speculation, not spoiler: Sarai is Angel's daughter.

Urban
No way, Sarai a pediatrician's daughter! Makes sense though.

Marta, you were right; last night's capitulo was definitely worth watching!

First, I am delighted the tn writers did not drag out the Isabruja scheme for weeks. She plotted mischief, and she was discovered in a reasonable time. It did not drag out so long I lost interest in the plot.

Second, the Mau/Luz play date far exceeded my expectations. Their interaction shot way off the adorable chart.

I look forward to Ana's reunion with her mama!

Carlos
Don't remember the specifics, but Soledad killed someone to protect baby Ana.

Thanks Jardinera, you really lucked out with a great episode. I'm jealous!

No way is Angel the father of Sarai, he would never let her live with someone else like that while he goes through a divorce. He's too great of a man.

I am loving Fernando taking charge of his love life with Ana. And I don't understand how Ana can continue to put him off. I'm having palpitations just watching them!

UA,

Have you seen something that suggests that Sarai may be Ángel's daughter?

She was sent to stay with Fernando and his family because her mom was friends with Estefania. I get the impression that Fernando and Ángel have never met nor have heard of each other previously. You would think that Ángel (especially since he is a pediatrician) might have some idea of whom his daughter is staying with. For some reason (maybe just the way her name is spelled) I thought that Sarai is Jewish. Anyway, I'll go out on a limb and predict at least a little pout from little Luz over Sarai at some point.

Variopinta,

I didn't remember that, but we at least know that killing someone is not totally out of the question for her.

I'll have to admit that I was very disappointed in Nando for suddenly being all over Edith as he was. Even without her history, that wasn't cool. Maybe Fanny could find a few moments with him covering basic social skills. How awful would it have been if he had approached Alicia's little friend with the same enthusiasm? He's actually becoming something of a jerk.

Carlos

If Sarai were Jewish, we would have been told that at the outset. Considering how difficult and demanding she is she might have tried to insist that no pork be served in her presence.

Which would have been offensive.

My impression is that Fernando has no real male friends and has socialized very little outside of anything expected from him at work. He might not have known most of the husbands of Estefania Sr's friends, most of whom she would have known from her charitable works.

My feeling is that Sarai's mother is like Veronica of PEAM and that her husband was quite fed up with her. Sarai had a flashback of one of their arguments; I wish I had paid more attention to their voices. As to her name, I think this is evidence that her mother wanted to make her sound more precious or unique, which the child's insistence on "Sra Sarai" emphasizes.

Finally, the coincidence factor plays into this. After watching these programs for as long as I have it just seemed to me that when Angel spoke of the pain of his divorce that he will discover his child in Fernando's house. And is he the Lascurain kids' regular doctor? I had the impression that his partner or boss was.

Excuse me, that should have been "Srta" instead.

Sarai is Angel's? Actually, I could vote more for Eeky having been married ( his insults sounded more like what he would say) and no one knew it.

But no matter who, would you unload your child on someone unless the divorce was still happening and ugly? The whole concept bothers me tremendously that neither parent really wanted that child that badly while they are dealing with their stupid break up. Get over yourselves.

I will be terribly disappointed to have Dr. Angel turn out to be Sarai's father considering how wonderful he is with kids--implying he insulted and turned his back on his own child. I wouldn't put it past the writers to be able to destroy the character so Fer stays lead in the Ana "game", but it wouldn't ring true of the man we are meeting. And wouldn't have there been some reference between he and Soledad?

I guess I wasn't surprised how Diego passed on the photos to Fer. Let's face it, and I like Diego for the most part, but the tug and pull between Fer and Diego was always a bit to the "who wins Ana/who will own Ana's love" then understanding her as a person. Diego "got" her more than Fer on thar first go around, it there was a competition level there. Handing over that photo album was like giving Fer the trophy for winning.

Daisynjay

I got a little creepy vibe from Diego handing Fer the album. In the photos, Ana is clearly responding to the man behind the camera--Diego. She is looking sultry and sexy--for Diego. That's the only reason I thought it a bit odd that Fer looked so pleased when he saw the pics.

J in O

Sarai's remembrance of her parents yelling at each other and the father yelling for her to take her daughter bec shes just like her was awful so I cant believe Angel would be the father.

Many parents yell like that in the belief that the child can't hear it. The other thing about being a doctor is the Long Hours Away From Home.

The man we're seeing in his office who has the ability to make children at ease isn't the man at home, stressed out from a control-freak wife who may not have been that way on the wedding day. Having children can significantly change people. A good friend of mine became a real germophobe when her son was an infant. She got over it after a while (long before her son was this age) but Angel's ex could have been escalating.

I don't think it will be long before we find out.

DaisynJay, I am with you...
Jorge Salinas portrayed his love for "Ana". It was so beautiful to watch and hear. That lucky Elizabeth Alvarez! She gets to her those words in real life every day. :))
... add me to the jealous of EA room... between Fernando swooning over the pictures of Ana (yes, Diego giving him the album did feel like him giving him the 'trophy' Ana)... to Fernando talking about her to Fernando talking TO her and kissing her hand... boy i am jealous. JS definitely looks like he is that sweet and sensitive in real life.

I agree with all you that found the photo album gift from Diego uncomfortable.

DaisynJay, it is another reminder how the Lascurain men see women as property that can be traded or swapped like a horse. Nic is trying to do it right now too and Nando is in training.

Count me in as one who thinks Angel could be Sarai's father.

J, Great recap as always...

It was WAY too weird and creepy that Don F. gave the photos to Ana. Tofie--you are right on about the how the Lascurain men treat women (I can't believe what Jenny's going through-she deserves a lot better).

Thankfully the "Mystery of the Fake Daughter" seems like it will be solved very quickly, meanwhile Don Nico's attempted murder is no biggie!

I thought the same thing about the photo album and about Nando's actions. And on top of this, the Johnny character is a leering fool who treats women as objects. There must not be any women on the writing staff of this TN.

Also, a couple of episodes ago, I thought I heard Fernando telling someone that the name Sarai was Hebrew.

Did anyone else notice the look of disappointment on Angel's face when he found out that the nanny was Soledad's daughter? Will he be Ana's brother or Sarai's father? Or both?

Thanks Aleta,

I thought I remembered something along that line that gave me the impression that Sarai might come from a Jewish family.

I'm still not seeing how any of you can come to the conclusion that Ángel might be Sarai's dad. I would think that any responsible father (and especially a physician... a pediatrician at that) would have some idea of whom his young daughter (whether she's a pill or not) is residing with.

Carlos

I also hope no one has seen ahead and is in fact giving us spoilers.

Carlos: I stopped applying real world logic to TNs a long time ago. I'm using TN logic when I say Angel could be Sarai's father.

Yes Aleta, Fer told the family that Sarai is Hebrew. In fact it means "princess" in Hebrew and is a variant of Sarah.

I guess I'm in the minority about the album, I thought it was nice of Diego to give it to Fer.

Speaking of someone being booted from a TN, can anyone tell me why David Zepeda has taken over for Pedro in Hasta el fin?

LoriLoo, the official reason was Pedro's health was suffering, the unofficial was his wife complained about him kissing Marjorie De Sousa on set

Tofie - I wondered about the kissing. I can't recall any of the kissing being open mouth kissing... and Marjorie is certainly beautiful. Don't think I'd want my husband kissing her either.

I like David but I thought Pedro was perfect for the character.

The running joke of course was how they kissed all around each others mouth and hardly connected. Who knows what the real truth is but I suspect it would be hard watching your husband mack with a gorgeous blond and your kids see it too. I miss Pedro bunches on that show.

If it was due to the kissing, we could put Elizabeth Alvarez in the same boat. Jorge kissing (open mouth) with Silvia, also a beautiful woman.

I think Edith is very pretty without the goth. I missed the episode where Nando and Ximena "broke up".

The break up wasn't shown, only mentioned by Nando to Edith.

LOL Liz would open mouth kiss Diego Olivera in Amorcito Corazon.

(Funny that in LVDA and FELS, she was getting action from Jorge.

In CI and LFMB she was a chatacter in relationships that went from here to nowhere (or hell.)

In Velo de Novia she was the mistress of Hector Suarez but ended up dead LOL.

I know she was in Suenos y Caramelos by Carlos Moreno Laguillo but I've never gotten to see it.)

So Pedro is supposed to only take roles of a priests or other characters who don't kiss anyone? She knew she married an actor, sheesh.

Great work, Jardinera.

Now I am seriously wondering at Hissabitch's IQ to even consider bashing Soledad in her own apartment. Makes me wonder how competent she is in a profession that demands thinking ahead.

The evil intent no longer shocks me. It's escalating.

I do want to see Yolanda turn on her eventually.

Jardinera, this was an excellent recap with some great lines, for example "the call of the blood begins to trumpet ever so softly….. "
I took a little break from this one, just picking up the odd moment here and there. May be time to return.

Does anyone else think that Osorio might be turning up the volume on Isabruja's madness as he did with Veronica in PQEAM?

Veronica just went from a germahophe to a jealous ex girlfriend and then real killer.
I see the same shades here with Isabella

I started wondering about that during that scene. What time slot did PEAM occupy in Mexico and what time slot is this one in? Up until now I thought that PEAM went the way it did because Fernando Colunga doesn't do series comedy well. Jorge Salinas is capable of it, so there is no need to do that to this series.

Thanks for the great recap, Jardinera!

Apparently, Isabruja left her capability for higher-order thinking at Harvard. She considered murdering Sol by bloody means, in her own apartment, with the housekeeper in the next room. Que?!?

Fernanduh actually thinks he may have accidentally erased the email from Angel? Ana invested her money and years of time to find her mama; Diego invested hours of detective work into the search, and Fer, who invested very little, really, thinks, "Oops. Darn, I guess I erased the message from someone with information about Soledad Fuentes?" Que?!?

Natalia, an award-winning photojournalist and university professor, gives up career and self-respect to swoon over and care for Diego, a playa, who loves another woman and treats her like a distant runner-up? Natalia has been bathing, feeding, and assisting this guy in, er, the bathroom, and she accepts his polite-but-indifferent treatment? Que?!?

EcuadorBound: IMHO By the time Ferd made it over to Angel, he did start to suspect that someone else had erased the email.
==========
UrbanA: No, I also had wondered about Natalia giving up a prime professorial position to go galavanting around the world with Diego as his personal nursemaid. Maybe she is on a type of "sabatical"?

Martai: I would love to see Sole slap the heck out of Yolow if not the preggers Pissybela for allowing this nasty charade to take place and then participating in it so fully.

Carlos: "And then, whom did Soledad kill? Maybe Isabela should be more careful about vexing her..." On point and funny as always!
================

Jarifa: "he was "handing Ana herself" over to Fernando" I had the thought that it was exactly that. Diego was shutting the book on that chapter of his life, handing over the reins, or whatever.

Paloma, don't miss tonight and tomorrow's eps!! you will come back at least for those!

Jardinera, this was awesome...
She bats her eyelashes at him and heads upstairs to bed leaving him with one heck of a case of the wants-but-cant’s.
and ITA that Fernando was already suspecting by the time he told Bruno to keep it quiet... once he called Angel and Angel talked about an assistant that he did not have, Fernando knew there was someone behind the mixup (this was no longer just him possibly erasing the email without reading it) and by the time Angel gave him the address of 'Blanca', Fernando did not misss a beat filling the gaps in the story.

Loriloo, ITA that PF is way better than DZ in the role. from the little i watched. also, DZ has lost some serious weight since AdP. he is so thin he looks sick.

Jarifa, Carlos,
yes, i guess that would be the 'rational' way of looking at Diego giving Fer the album. Diego closing that chapter of his book and being 'at peace' with Fernando and Ana getting together.

and yes, ISa is preggers, but YoMAMA is really asking for Sole to show her 'dark' side at someone.

martaivett, I am so glad you are in the "jealous" of Elizabeth Alvarez camp with me! I so loved that scene with JS and SN. There was something that just rang so true when he was saying all those beautiful things to her. I am JEALOUS of Elizbeth Alvarez!!!

Jardinera654, you talented woman you, your sense of humor and timing just kills me. Thank you for another super recap!!

Seems like Osorio doesn't run out of PSAs for this show. Sometimes, it not funny watching the little child, Sarai, with her germophobe mentality. For a child, she seems to be pretty advanced wrt some of her obsessive behaviors. She is one lonely, sad, and angry child who, in real life, would need to be in therapy.

Ecuador Bound, totally agree with you on your points re Natalia.

Fatima

Yolanda aiding and abetting Isabella isn't funny now, either. BOTH of those women had better get good anvils.

When Fer went storming into the apartment and Yolanda tells him to calm down, I wanted to yell and scream at the TV. Yolanda is playing both sides. That never works.

Fatima

Fatima,
ITA with you that Osorio is not sending the right message to kids watching this show when he is trying to develop a 'romantic relationship' between Sarai and Sebas. these kids are not even teens yet! gmab!! not the right example to give to pre-teens watching this show. everything has its time and place. romance for pre-teens? not in my book (and that is MHO).

Fatima,
sorry i misquoted and said DaisynJay said that.

yes, Sarai is going to the extreme with things she can control, or at least can talk about. she does not feel comfortable talking about her parents so she behaves in 'closed shell' mode to all the Lasc. and it is only Fer who knows a little about her family situation. but it is very typical behavior for a girl going through so much so early in life.

EB: Re Natalia and Deeko. The 800 pound gorilla in the room is that Diego did this to himself in a drunken fit of jealousy. He deserves much less. Natalia: WTF are you thinking? Diego is an unstable, disabled drunk.

Thanks Jardinera for giving us an awesome recap in the middle of your holiday prep.

UA: I thought the same thing about PEAM. I think it went very dramatic because it was obvious that FC was not good at comedy. And I get the impression it does not like to look silly. I've been afraid of a PEAM rehash the first time Isa thought about doing Ana bodily at the very beginning of the TN.

Did anyone else see the Grandes Temos special on Uni last night?

Nanette

I did, Nanette. I liked the duet for Vivo por Elena and Alejandro Fernandez duet with his daughter in the end.

Julissa looked so young with that wig or hair color in her intro of Alejandro Fernandez in the end... (Julissa, from the 70s version of Corazon Salvaje and more recently played Don Fernando's mom in La fea)
