Que te Perdone Dios Episode 20 " The switcheroo" Discussion

Here ,you can discuss Episode 20 while Eli is focusing on the recap :)

Well, Lucio knew how to be persistent, and act like he was willing to walk away to close his deal. For her part, Mac "cumplió." She held up her end of the bargain, and then some!

Loved the scene where Tia saved Di's butt. Fausto was speechless, stuttering, very funny.

At night when both Abi and Ren were flashing back to the respective kisses they had received, my son said: "Wouldn't Renata's just be a blur?" I suppose it would be dark with just the audio.

I can't believe the Doc went so crazy, declaring himself for a married woman, especially after hearing that they want to have a baby. Yes, Ren has told him she hates Fausto, but it's obvious that Fausto feels something else, and it doesn't seem like Mr. Even-keeled Doc would wade in like that.

Liked this episode!

That was pretty clever and fast thinking of TiaMia. The look on Feisty's face said ,''Yikes, I just kissed a woman my own age...ewww.'' I got a kick out of Abi's friend the maid smirking and telling Mat to step right in..teehee. Diana is delighted with this turn of events because now old Feisty can come to her house anytime he wants to bunny hop with her and Mat Weill think that he is with TiaMia...perfecto. I am already tired of Altair's signature ''look'' as she pulls her lips back into that mirthless grin and looks out the top of her eyes.

We did not get to see much of Lucio and Mac dancing in the sheets. Was this a first time fling , or have they been doing this for awhile ?

I liked the episode too,i was shocked when Tia had to interfere with that suprise kiss,it was so priceless!

I for once enjoyed Doc's sincerity but now he is now in even more danger,i am fearing for him.I cannot wait until he inevitably returns, stronger than ever!

As for Luc ,he is quite a damn Horse in bed,he is like Tarzan . Too bad his wife left him ;( .
I think Luc intends to follow Fausto's orders but his obsession with Mac and the remaining humanity he has for his son will force him otherwise. I kind of hope he fullfils his punishment and gets redeemed although right now he is still a Loser with a big ego,.

I am hating Connie so much, her comparing Pat to Pablo was just ridioulus to watch but i gues it also has some subtle meaning. The actor is perfect and all ( I loved her from Robo) but the character is ugh,Super Annoying.

I wonder what role will Nieves the new maid play of Elena play ,from experience its probably a distraction for Diego and if so ,i hope Diego falls for her she seems quite charming!

I feel asleep and missed part of this but ITA with you TN4ever that it was a surprise that the good doctor declared himself so quickly. He has fallen hard and fast. And yes Count, that he is in tremendous danger.

Oh my susanlynn. I think I must watch this on demand - I need to see that kiss!

Do we know what happened to/with Lucio's wife?

Diana

I must have fallen asleep also, Diana, cuz I don't remember that kiss and need to see it for myself.

Count..I agree with all your insightful comments. This show is ramping up. I like your idea of the cute new maid as a consolation prize for Dear Diego when Abi ends up with Dr. Mat. I also agree that Connie is my mug annoying with her howling and facial expressions. She could dial it down a bit. I got a giggle out of your apt description of Lucio being ''a horse'' in bed. Too funny..too true. The guy lacks subtlety. I, too, would like to see him redeemed in the end. As a teen, he must have looked up to the older Feisty as so often happens with young guys which sometimes results in teens getting involved in gangs and following a bad path in life.

Hmm...my mug was supposed to be ''muy muy''.....I hate this IPad. It is always correcting my chosen words.

Happy Valentine's Day to all. xoxoxo

Jardinera, the kiss is pretty grandmotherly, and Ren will probably flash back again (and again). I was glad Helena did so with her wedding day because I missed that part of the episode. I still didn't see how she told Gerardo, but with your recap I could picture it. So funny that she couldn't just stick to the basics facts, without embellishing.

I wanted to add my voice to the chorus of how annoying Connie Groans-a-lot is. I dread her scenes.

Good analysis Susanlynn, we see the early part of the unhealthy relationship between Fausto and him. btw Count, that was the first time Mac and Luc were together, he made her deliver the goods before he told her about Fausto's other killing.

Interesting how Luc seemed more ashamed or disgusted than pleased the morning after. Didn't want to be seen leaving Mac's place.

Diana, I think we have been led to believe that Lucio's wife/baby mama left him. I think she then married a rich guy. Lucio talked on the phone with his son and if I remember correctly his son told him that he was going to Europe with his mom and (step)dad. When Lucio went to see Melitón for the remedy for his nightmares I believe Melitón mentioned Lucio's past.

I was surprised Lucio told Mac about Gerardo's death. However, he is the one who killed him, not Fausto. Weird how he was just like "Yeah Fausto killed his bro yadda yadda yadda....see ya later". I guess it clearly does haunt him very much.

I think Connie is going to drive me insane. I just can't with her episodes because I just don't know if they're real or fake. I do wish she could get help.

I think Pat's confession is going to have serious consequences if Fausto finds out.

TF, thanks so much for the explanation. I have a tiny bit of pity germinating for Lucio because while he did shoot, it was at Fausto's screaming urging. Guilty? Yes. But he seems like someone who was doomed from the start and whom never really had a chance.

I felt that way initially about Rubio in LM but that evaporated. This may too.

Diana

I agree, Diana. Lucio is a troubled soul. I think he's a lot like Adolfito in Robo. But I don't quite yet feel sympathy for Lucio but that may change if he is forced to commit other crimes for Fausto. I never felt sorry for Rubio. He was a comical villain if you can even call him a villain.

Yes TF, Lucio is very much like Adolfito in Robo. Great comparison.

I think Adolfito's saving grace was that he truly loved Fina. I'm not seeing Lucio having the capacity to love, but I want to see how he is with his son before I pass final judgement.

Diana

I haven't seen the episode yet, but Lucio lost my sympathy when he threw Helena out of her house like that. Especially after she reminded him how much she supported him after his wife left him. He could have given her an hour or two to get her stuff, or even given her a ride to Enramada. Fausto would not have known.

Fofito would not have done that, unless his master was standing above him. Rubio would have found some benefit for himself for helping you out but he would have done it, and asked you to return the favor later. Fofito would kill even his master to prevent him from hurting Fina. Rubio would have also ripped any of his masters if they hurt Luisa. Is anyone that important to Lucio? Certainly not Mac, but maybe his son.

Lucio needs a major ANVIL!

Just watched the episode. That k yield as switch was awesome and hilarious. Gotta run, already late for a party. I'll comment more tomorrow.

The kiss switch. Have no idea what "k yield as" is. LOL!

Recap is done!

I agree Diana and Vivi.

I do think both Rubio and Adolfito had something/someone to protect. With Lucio, although he may want to prove something to his son it seems to me as though his son doesn't regard him as his father and is obviously much closer to his mother's current husband and would be unaccustomed to the ranch life.

I'm waiting to see how Laisha Wilkins will factor into this TN!

Hi everyone!

For anybody that's interested, the 'masquetelenovelas' website has recently posted a VERY in-depth page detailing pretty much everyone of the characters in this novela (including those of Laisha Wilkins and Fabian Robles, among others). Here is the link:

http://masquetelenovelas.blogspot.com/2015/02/quien-es-quien-en-la-telenovela-que-te.html#more

It is, like with everything on that website, entirely in Spanish.

BE FOREWARNED, though- many of the descriptions are so in-depth that they could definitely constitute being spoilers, but I thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention anyways for those who are interested.

Best wishes to all!

Happy Valetines everyone!!! I was super busy all day, I cant wait to read recap and comments. I just wanted to say that it was so funny to see Faurto bathed, cologned up and wearing Hgh Hefner jammies for his "embarazo" visit to Renata. Well, instead of having Abi there, I thought she should've invited Macaria instead. Macaria would be so thrilled to pretend she is Renata. Dimming of the lites, wearing Renata's perfume and her silk nightgown she coulda fooled Faurto, she's been begging Faurto for some lovin. Renata sure as heck dont want him near her, so it would be win-win. Then again, if Faurto was fooled into making whoppie with her,....i can just hear Mac laffing at Faurto afterwards, she would enjoy the session, but afterwards she would "burlarse" de Faurto to the high skies. She would get a kick out of pulling that one off. Btw, add Tia Mia to the list of women who find Faurto so hot. Seriously, tn is spreading a little thick that Fausto is loved by so many wen.

Everyone- Eli posted the recap yesterday. It's in another post. You'll see it at the top of the main page. Please go there to continue commenting on the episode.

Stevey- Thanks for the link. It is FILLED with spoilers, so I stopped reading halfway through. If you don't want spoilers, don't go to that link.
