Que Te Perdone Dios on Monday, February 16, 2015.

Helena blesses Pat and Mat. In the time they're gone, Nieves will work for her. She has the hots for Mateo.

Ren and Abi cuddle while talking about love.

Panfilo Raisin calls Fartso over.

Fartso blasts his way in and Simona has been given the boot.

Mia is crying because Di won't help her and because of Fausto.

Fartso butters up the boss when Simona comes in justifiably mad. Fartso is told to watch his back for Simona

-PanfiloRaisin and Mel-
They talk about Gerardo and Lucio. There's a flashback to Helena confessing her witnessing of Gerry's death to PR.

-Patricio and Renata-
She smiles as as she remembers Pat's declaration of love when Fausto comes in. He pulls her in and they literally have a roll in the hay; the rat bastard smacks her around and is about to rape her so she can bear him a kid!

-Pat'n'Mat-
Mat tells Pat about his relationship with Diana. Pat says that if Diana really loves him, she will wait.

-PR and Mel-
Mel is steering PR towards getting his car fixed. PR is very touch and go for a second but is convinced. Mel lets him know also that Lucio's remedy is the only thing that helps him sleep.

-Fausto and Renata-
Lucio shows subtle disappointment outside while Fausto is tucking it back in his pants. Ren is pissed and says she will never forget this horror. MACgiftcard is askew of moods because she can't find Fausto and impeded by Lucio from finding Fausto and Renata any sooner. Fausto is on his way to the cantina with Lucio and out of MACgiftcard's way. She goes into the stable and finds Ren in the hay. He raped her and MACgiftcard helps her up and out.

While Renata is showering and sliding down the wall, Fausto is at the cantina remembering everything she yelled at him. She's in her pink robe when MACgiftcard comes in. MAC then begins with the whole, "You Provoked Him, Didn't You?" thing and Ren defends herself; MAC then says Fausto will never put a hand on Ren again, she promises.

Mel and Renata-
Mel is praying at a very special grave to forbid Fausto's impregnation of her. Mel then walks heraway kindly.

Abigail and MACgiftcard-
MAC tells Abi if she sees Fausto later, let her know because she has to talk with him. Abi asks about what and MAC says that's none of Abi's business.

Mel and Renata-
Mel has given Ren some brew that will clean her spirit.

Fausto and Diana-
Fausto gently accosts Di sexually when PR drives up and catches him. Fausto is in deep doo-doo. PR digs into Diana for being over-privileged by Mia.

-Mel and Renata-
They talk about Pablo.

Efrain wants to do something about Pablo's death.

Diego has come to see Abi with a document and they're about to kiss but resist.

MAC bitches at Fausto but not for having raped Ren. It's for having done something sexual with Ren and leaving her high and dry for years!

Efrain cries to a picture that he has found Pablo.

Mat is on the phone with Helena; he says he's headed to Spain with Diana and Nieves is let down at the news that   he has a girlfriend. Helena who is pro-AbiTeo is sad that he is leaving again.

MAC bitches at Fausto for not having asked her to bear him a child.

(End of Capitulo)

Avance- Fausti and Diana are caught in the act by PR and Fartso orders for his death a la Lucio.

I was very disgusted by that rape and how it was just brushed off ,even Mac caring more about her pleasures than for grabbing that gun and killing Fausto once and for all. EW!

It was very bad for Marc to just dance on Faustos ,orders
i thought we had a clean ,willing politician for once ,oh how WRONG i was!

Its quite interesting that Efrain's wife was Pablo's mother but on the other side ,it was so clicque i was not suprised much .

So Mel seems to have a cure for everything except maybe for Connie's insanity ( Perhaps he still has Ducktape's on storage). From where does he get these herbs anyway,is he some black market genie in a bottle? He does not seem to travel much since he is so poor he cannot afford a good Plasma TV( As if anyone could afford such luxury, Bean Phones are still their favorite term of communication or someone actually bought a 19th Century Nokia pardon me)

CxA, he has a cure for Connie's insanity but she told him to go eat dirt and kick rocks.

I'm almost sure once Pat or some strong male catches wind about Ren's rape, there will be hell raised. I know Lucio showed disgust towards it but in his roundabout, subtle way.

Still there is no excuse for this. If Mac really wanted to help Ren,this situation would have been long over. Her ambitions and desired overcame the need for her supposedly best friend"S safety.
As for Luc he was forced to do nothing,he would not like to get astray from his son and certainly go to jail for all the bad things he did..

I have not watched this yet, and now, I don't know if I want to see Faust attacking his blind wife. As Count said, Ren should have had someone with her 24\7.

Corazon, thank you for the recap.

I didn't get to see this and am not even sure I want to watch it On Demand. As you said Count, it's reprehensible that another rape occurred. Renata should have taken her daughter and left long ago. How terrible.

This storyline is making it harder for me to watch.

Diana

Yep. Not ready to comment on this yet because of the rape. I just can't believe the writers would do this AGAIN to the same character. Talk about overkill. It's just too much, and makes Renata look like a fool for staying. And please don't follow it up with Fausto sitting in the cantina having a sad because Ren doesn't love him. Boo, fricking hoo!

By the way, the elixir Mel gave Ren was like the morning after pill, to ensure she doesn't get pregnant.

I need the women in this tn to step up to the plate and start confronting these bad guys for real. Simona is the only one taking action, and I fear she doesn't know just how dangerous Fausto is. Mac, doesn't count. She's all bark and no bite, and Fausto knows it. That's why he laughs in her face when she makes threats.

Vivi, "And please don't follow it up with Fausto sitting in the cantina having a sad because Ren doesn't love him. Boo, fricking hoo!"

Someone has to learn about this and stop it as sadly, Renata is not going to leave.

Diana

Padre basically figured out that something bad went down in that office when Gero died, and it wasn't a suicide, hence Lucio's need for sleeping medicine ever since he was a teen. Now he seems to want to confront Lucio, by being the one to give him the bottle of medicine, and he keeps trying to get Fausto to talk while learning more of his dirty secrets. I don't think Padre is long for this world.

I was afraid the detective would give into the pressure to drop the Pablo Ramos case. Breathed a sigh of relief to learn it's personal and Pablo was his stepson. Now we know he won't let it go and work fight to bring the killers to justice. Good for him. And he's playing it smart by staying quiet about it.

Very upset by the rape of Renata.
And Mac sorry it wasn't her he wanted to have sex with. No pity for Renata. And Lucio just standing by like a watch dog.

I'm getting so fed up with Connie the crier. Sooool annoying!

Thanks for your recap, Corazon.

Ann-NYC

CS, thanks for the recap of evil run amuck.

I was very upset at the rape, not only the rape in and of itself, but the cold-blooded way Fausto carried it out.

Nice that Mel had a "morning-after" herbal equivalent to give Ren. I think the actor fits this role better than the Silencio role in La Gata.

The priest may be in danger. If he can help Lucio with his PTSD, will Lucio help protect him?

Constanza aka Connie the Crier does grate on the nerves. Also annoyed at her too-youthful hair style. Is it supposed to be loose and disheveled? It's too bouncy and fluffy for her whiny voice. Needs more straggle to support her mental state.

Am somewhat puzzled by Fausto's appeal to the ladies. He has this harem (Helena, Macaria, Diana) who yearned/yearn for him and his manly attentions. Why? Did he meet them at the right time? Was he the only game in town? Or is he just El Grande Studmuffin with overwhelming testosterone?
He also has male associates who fall down and do his bidding. I guess he's just the big boss man.

La Paloma, you are not alone!

Many of us have been scratching our heads at the "romantic appeal" of Fausto. Never has one so unappealing charmed so many. Blech.

Diana

I think they are attracted him for obvious reasons.
Di is obviously after the money and for the sake of playing .

Elena felt genuine love for him but i guess it ended after he tossed her out of her house. She,the poor( Grateful) soul stands absolutely no chances with him.

Mac is a whole other game, she is way too much obsessed with him, even more than Di. She plays with the life of her best friend just for her amusment .
She could destroy him but her addiction is too strong .
Mac could find someone more worthy ( Not LoserLuc)
if she got rid of the Trash she is breathing everyday ,i actually feel sorry for her.

As I said yesterday, Renata had better not go out alone and she did. It is good that Mel had a morning after elixir for her. If she were to bare a child, Farto would surely kill her at some point. Then he would be the sole owner of the rancho, right? The child would then inherit it upon his death. Correct?

while watching last night I thought that Macaria was really trying to he a friend and help Renata but no---it looks like Macaria's only friend is Macaria.

Yes old Farto had Lucio standing guard. Two anvils please, two big anvils.

After Old Farto had his way with Renata he tried to jump on Diana.
Does this old dog use Viagra?

Old raisin the priest is moving into dangerous territory. Old Farto would not loose any sleep, no none at all after killing a priest. Be careful Raisin Fausto is the devil in disguise.

So is the upcoming election rigged?

La Paloma--Diana----Are you guys missing the boat? It is not about sex appeal. Old Farto doesn't have any but he's the local tough guy , biggest land owner and money guy in town . That's where his appeal comes from, money and power not from sex and romanticism
the gringo

Diana is totally responsible for Renata's rape! SHE's the one who suggested it to Fausto! I remember she told him she knew of a way he could legitimately come into all the money and properties, and then she told her tia she knew what she was doing, but it would take some time - meanwhile, she planned on enjoying Mateo. I guess they plan on killing Renata once (if) she has Fausto's kid, who will become the (recognized) heir.

Too bad Fausto's "little Faustito" didn't fail to perform.

Thanks Corazón Salvaje. Crisply done.

While Fausto is clearly not a good choice as mayor, I can't see Simona as a very good alternative. She appears to be mostly an angry woman who doesn't really like men and is more interested in revenge than in being a good and fair mayor. I can't see why any man would want to support her candidacy.

I was very surprised that Melitón has an herbal method of dealing with unwanted pregnancy. I wonder what the padre would think of that.

Where the heck is Laisha Wilkens? I wonder if she will also fall under Fausto's spell. Maybe it's those sad Basset Hound eyes that women find so irresistible.

Carlos

gringo, I'm not so sure I am missing the boat.

Helena loved Fausto. Her reasons weren't motivated by title or money or even power. She saw something I have never seen certainly -- because of or in spite of any allure he might possess.

In her own way (as much as she is capable of), Macaria loved Fausto. Her obsession may have contained other motives but "love" was one of them.

Diana wants him for what he has or can greedily get. Yes, power is her motivator although by her own admission, I believe she finds him quite attractive in the physical sense.

Diana

Tia also bit her lip in a way that showed she was physically turned on by Fausto when he was at their house at some point. Clearly, in addition to his power and his (wife's) wealth, he is meant to be attractive to women.

Carlos- I agree that Simona's campaign might be off-putting to the men of that town. But I find the men of that town off-putting, period. Rock on Simona!

Thanks Vivi - I thought I heard Tia utter "guapo" after she covered for him (Fausto) and Diana. Yes, add her to the list.

Diana

Still have not had a chance to watch this disturbing episode.

I agree that Faust's appeal leaves this lady out of the loop. I find nothing about him even mildly attractive....yet young and old are pining after and pursuing this conceited, nasty, old dude.

P.s. Who did the makeover on Mel ? I like the shorter hairdo. Is that the actor's real hair ?

I am watching the episode, and I hardly recognized Renata after her shower to wash off the Fausto cooties. She looks a lot older without makeup. I am amazed whenever these tn actresses go without their usual makeup .

The police chief and Fausto's buddy were having an heated conversation. It seemed to be about Pablo's murder. Is Fausto's bud the mayor ?

Thanks, CorazonSalvaje.

I didn't watch last night's episode and now so I'm glad about that. Fausto trying to have a baby with Renata after all these years is just STUPID, but him raping her again is madness. I guess Renata will exact her revenge some day down the road, but I need her to strike back now. The writers need to take a look at Blind Fury with Rutger Hauer where his blind Vietnam vet beats the crap out of assailants.

Susanlynn- Yes. Fausto is buddies with the mayor and the mayor fired Simona on Fausto's orders and pressured the mayor to pressure the cops to drop the Pablo Ramos investigation.

Susanlynn- And yes, the heated argument was about the Pablo Ramos case. We learn that the police chief and his wife moved to town about two years after Pablo "disappeared." The Mayor wants the Chief to stop digging and drop the case. Then he asks the chief how long it's been since his wife died, and implied that the Chief needs to find a woman or get laid and quit being so obsessed with silly things like justice and the law. Later, when the Chief is by himself at home talking to his wife's photo, we learn that they had been searching for her son Pablo, and now he's found Pablo and is determined to bring his killers to justice.

thanks, Vivi. I like the actor playing the police chief. He played Manuel's bff in Amor Real. He reminds of Colombo. My mother loved that show.

By the way, Fausto raping Renata in that scratchy pile of straw..what a vicious pig.

CS

PLEASE PUT EPISODE NUMBERS IN YOUR HEADING!

Thanks.

CorazonSalvaje,
Thanks for the recap. I have not watched this epi yet, but plan to later tonight.

On the discussion about Fausto's appeal. Would we, the viewers, feel differently if it were a different actor. I for one don't find SG attractive, but there is bound to be someone out there in viewerville that finds him irresistable. In my book Fausto's evil actions speak louder than his looks.

AuntyAnn- It's not just the looks. He holds no charm (at least for me). There are plenty of actors that I don't find physically attractive, but the way they carry themselves, even in some of the more despicable characters, still holds appeal because they find a way to connect emotionally or charm the audience. SG does neither, at least to me. There are some out there who might find his look appealing, and that's ok. But he's not bringing much to this role other than being macho and despicable.

I will fess up to finding him attractive! He reminds me a lot of Rogelio from LQNPA with the cowboy hat and rough demeanor.

The crying bit in the bar was surprising, not too convincing. I think what really made home feel better was manhandling two more women. He was on a rampage!

The priest looked to be putting a target on himself in the advances.

Vivi,
ITA with you about SG. I too have found some villians unattractive, but charming. In La Malquerida, I did not find Norberto physically attractive, but in the end I found myself cheering for him, hoping he had a happy ending. I don't see myself doing the same for Fausto. SG is playing this role like he has a stick up his you know what. He's done alot of dispicable things, but he's not playing the villian that we need in this role. Just my opinion.
