Mi corazon es tuyo #159, 3/3/15 A crazy stalker, a sleepwalker, a concerned dad gets angry with hired security, a hopeless lover gets an honest rejection (yay!), a surprise proposal, Ana gets coaching to keep trying, and an unexpected video on facebook

Refritos:

Freeky waltzes around the Lasc Mansion in muddy shoes while Fernando does his goodnite kiss rounds…

Lo Nuevo:

Luz, scared, shaking, heads to kitchen to tell Ana that she just saw a man upstairs holding baby DN. Ana gets alarmed and fetches the security losers out the door… the guys run upstairs to check on the rooms. Fernando sees them walking around with their guns in hand and asks what happened. He then grabs the baby and runs downstairs, noticing the muddy footprints in the room and in the hallway all around.

Meanwhile Freeky puts the sleeperhold on a poor gardener and slams a security guard on the head with a shovel (ouch!! That’s going to leave a mark!)

Fernando reaches Ana and Luz… Luz tells him the man was at the house before, he came to Grandpa’s wedding. Gray hair, about Fernando’s age, and with blue eyes… Fernando gets even more alarmed, whispers to Ana ‘Enrique Basurto!’. She nods in agreement.

Ana takes Luz back to her room and locks the door. Luz asks why Enrique came, Ana does not know. But your dad is fixing things so we will be safe here. Once Ana gets Luz calm, Ana asks herself why Freeky came to see Dieguito.

Fernando is bashing the security guards about this 2nd slip. (the 1st was with Fanny at the restaurant). MY 5 Year old child!! My 5 year old child!! Saw him in the house!! (he has summoned Torres to tell him he wants to hire a commando team to locate Freeky. He does not care the price tag. Also, tomorrow he wants the best alarm installed, even with motion sensors all over the yard. He bashes the security guards again, warning he will hire another group if they don’t do their job.

Fernando comes back to Ana’s room to check on Luz. He is very cold and indifferent to Ana, even asking her to talk to him as ‘Usted’, he caresses the baby and kisses Luz goodnite. Ana asks if he talked to Fanny about Freeky. He will talk to her tomorrow. Then he walks right by Ana as if she were a fly on the wall. She says ‘good night, Ana, because the courteous does not take away the brave’. (‘lo cortes no quita lo valiente’, it is a famous spanish phrase)

Apparently, Ana has taken the same tea she used to serve Fernando when he had the sleepwalking stints… she sleepwalks right into Fernando’s bed as he has gone to the bathroom/closet. He sits on his bed and jolts up when he hears her snore..(LOL!) He tries to wake her up but to no avail, she sits up and says ‘I love you Fernando’ in her sleep, then drops back to sleep. He gives up on getting her out so he grabs a pillow and blanket and heads out the door.

Morning comes, another white van, this time they are there to install the alarm.

Bruno is telling Manuela and Zeus about the events of the last night, referring to Freeky as ‘un loco’ who used to work for Fernando.

Fernando comes down to kitchen to ask Manuela to bring him a coffee to his room. Zeus finds out that Ana and Fer are not together because they fought.

Ana wakes up in Fernando’s bed saying ‘let me explain!’ She asks herself why she is there. Fernando comes in and asks her ‘don’t tell me you too are sleepwalker.’ Ana wonders if he carried her there… He coldly tells her that its time his children are downstairs (eating breakfast before school?) She finally figures out it was the tea, which she fixed and came out strong. He keeps coldly referring to her and talking to her as if she were lower than a pet dog. His words even come out rhyming and when she notes that, he is rather insulting saying she is mocking him. She tries to start the explanation conversation again but he walks away into his closet/bathroom, saying no explanation is good enough.

Jenny is not talking to Johnny either, he tells her he is heading to Las Merceditas… after he leaves she wonders why he is going there.

Fernando meets with Fanny at the library room. She has to head to school but he asks her for a moment first, this is important. He wants Fanny to stay home until Freeky is caught. She hesitates because she is not doing so well at school. He is worried about her safety. Finally, she agrees to stay at least a day here at home.

Bruno asks Ana if she loves Fernando. Ana says ‘and you breathe every day? Its obvious! I love him and want to build a family with him’. Manuela comes over and says ‘then you will have to keep on fighting for his love’. Ana gets their advice ‘try, try, try and keep on trying until Fernando forgives her’. Ana agrees to keep on fighting for Don Fernando.

Angel calls Ana and invites her to breakfast. She hesitates.

Jennifer visits Ana and Ana explains all the men are there to install an alarm. Jennifer tells Ana that they put Concuero (the slippery government guy) was arrested and is in jail. And they have an arrest warrant for Doroteo. However, Jen is there for something about Johnny. Jenny does not doubt Johnny but he is surely hiding something from her. He has been going out and won’t tell her where to. Jen already sent him to sleep in the couch. Ana says he really loves Jen like crazy. Jen says ‘then why is he holding back things from me? Is he in a mess? Is he in danger? Is he back to doing illegal stuff?’ Ana asks her to give him the benefit of the doubt. Jen says some common phrase about ‘if you hang around bad…’

Said Johnny is visiting Fernando at his office. Contrary to Fernando’s guess that he is there also to vow for Ana, Johnny is there to apologize to Fernando. ‘I am thankful for all the help you gave me.’ ‘and why did you not tell me the truth?’ ‘Because Ana is my friend, and because you should take the time to learn the circumstances behind what Ana did. Also Ana understood you when you married Hissabella.’ Fernando gets angry and stands up shouting ‘I never lied to her!!’ Johnny backs up and appologizes but leaves Fernando with a thought ‘Ana loves you more than anyone in the Universe!’ Fernando is left there thinking, with a grumpy facial expression.

Yomama visits Isa at work, Isa reveals to Yomama that she achieved her goal of splitting Ana and Fernando because it turns out Ana used to dance the tube at Pancho Villa’s antro. Isa is enjoying telling Yomama that Ana is suffering tons. Isa enjoys showing Yomama the video. Yomama is floored. ‘que es eso!!’

Sebastian sees the video of Ana on the tube that Isa posted to his facebook page. He is a bit worried ‘Ana!’.

Ana goes to breakfast with Angel, and they start with the usual greetings ‘how are you/ fine and you?’

Johnny tells Jenny that the Merceditas director wants to talk to her about the money she donated. Jenny a bit hesitant, then she remembers Ana’s words ‘trust him!’ Jen agrees to go with him. He compliments her outfit…

(there is definitely something going on with this Johnny wanting Jen to go to Merc, maybe he has a plan rolling?)

After some more smalltalk about ‘how things are going and how she is feeling and about her sleepwalking’… Angel goes right to his punchline… ‘I love you Ana’. She is totally not up to this conversation subject… she thanks him... but… he swears he is incapable of stepping between her and Fernando while she was with Fernando, and there is nothing between Magda and him… Ana says ‘you better than anyone knows what I am going through…’ ‘I understand’… ‘no you don’t’.

Fanny tells Ximena about Freeky coming last night… left muddy footprints everywhere, he carried Dieguito. Fanny is a bit anxious. (that baby is wonderful actor… have yet to see him sleep through any of these scenes, his eyes are wide open!) Fanny gets a text from Leon. He is not mad at her… doctor told him to rest, otherwise would have run to see her. Leon asks her what she thinks of the letter he sent with Reina. Then Fanny gets texts from Lenin, poetry. He is happily strolling through school texting more prose from Gustavo A Becker to her. He wonders why she did not make it to class. Fanny asks Lenin to come over. As Lenin is heading to visit Fanny Edith stops him at school. Xime asks Fanny if it could be possible you could love two guys at the same time.

Back to Ana and Angel… She claims she has always been honest with him, she repeats that Fernando is the love of her life, and she just lost him on a mistake of her own. She pushed him away, she disappointed him… she doesn’t think Angel knows what she is going through making the man she loves suffer. Ana wants to keep it between them as a good friendship, there is no chance of her corresponding to his feelings. Sorry. Have to go. Angel repeats he loves her. Ana says she feels very uncomfortable with his insisting, he barely knows her. (sacando de onda) She asks him for their friendship’s sake not to insist or expect anything but friendship from her, she does not want to hurt him. C’iao.

Johnny and Jenny arrive at Merceditas, Johnny holds baby Aura and Jenny finds an engagement ring hidden in the baby’s blanket. He gets on one knee and proposes. She is floored. He says that was his surprise, he ordered the ring made custom for her. Jenny lets him put the ring on her finger and finally says yes, a thousand yes’es. The girls at the home are applauding at them sealing the engagement with a kiss, baby still in his arms.

Back at the office, it is Yomama’s turn to visit Fernando and attempt to say some words in Ana’s favor. But she also came to offer her help to care for her grandson. Fernando gets notice of another visitor. So he politely says goodbye to Yomama. She leaves him with one final advice ‘don’t let my daughter separate you from Ana’. ‘It was not your daughter who separated me from Ana, ma’am. It was the lie.’

Back to Fanny’s room… Ana lets Ximena stay for the convo, tells Fanny she met Angel and he declared his love to her.

Angel is giving Soledad the debriefing on same convo. Soledad says bad timing, Ana is down in spirits. He is happy. Soledad says yeah so great that she sent you packing (por un tubo). She sees it a very slim chance that he and Ana will work out. Besides, she is not so convinced he loves Ana. Angel is in disbelief. ‘why is everyone doubting my feelings?’

Ximena asks Ana if she loves Fanny’s dad. ‘you are asking me if the Earth is round?’ Fanny and Ximena coach Ana into not quitting in her attempts to get Fernando to forgive her. Ana gets an idea, asks Fanny for her credit card.

Fernando is meeting at his office with some guy from a ‘comando’ he hired to find Freeky… they say they have put flyers around, he says not nearly enough! He is so angry that he says loudly ‘I don’t know what you are still doing here. Go out and find the murderer!!’

The kids are being picked up by Zeus at the school. Sebas is sad, and Alicia notices this and asks, but he won’t say why. Freeky is observing them all from a distance. ‘what better vengeance from Fernando than to hurt one of his kids?’

Ana and Sebas are talking at the house and he tells her someone sent him a video. He does not understand. It is about you. (he shows her the video Hissabella took at the Chicago). Ana is impressed, in a sad way.

Previews: Ana again confronts Isa at the office and slaps Hissa ‘I warned you not to mess with my kids!!’…. Fernando has to come over to split the cat fight.

Ana asks Jenny and Johnny not to visit Ana on business hours. Seems Ana says something back and down comes Luz yelling at him, asking why he and Ana are arguing…

Martaivett, thanks for the wonderful recap.

Did not like:

The kids (minus Fanny) being sent to school with Enrique on the loose.

Ana telling Fanny and Ximena about Angel saying he loved her.

Liked:

Fernando going ballistic with the "security" team. What an inept crew!

Johnny putting in a good word for Ana with Fernando.

Johnny's proposal to Jennifer. Those of you who thought Johnny's mysterious behavior was all about him getting a ring were right.

Ana sleepwalking and ending up in Fernando's bed.

Yolanda telling Fernando not to let her daughter split up him and Ana.

Loved:

Hearing the beautiful love poem from Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer 19th century Spanish poet. It was his Rima LXXVIII "Amor eterno" (eternal love). Just didn't like Lenin sending it to Fanny.

Ana's own cute answers to Bruno and Ximena in reference to her loving Fernando: Do you breathe everyday?/You want to know if the earth is round?

Jarifa

Thank you so much Marta.

First thing you do is install an alarm. Cannot believe Fernando is giving the security firm another chance, not one of them checked out the school.

Oh, what a shocker, Juan bought a ring. I do appreciate Juan's apology to Fernando. Even he knew Fernando had helped him and didn't deserve to be deceived.

Hate that Sebastian saw that video of his mother. Maybe he is old enough to understand the nuance, a stripper pole doesn't mean she stripped. Doubt all his friends at school will pull any punches.

Why did Ana even go to breakfast with Angel? She knew what it was about. Why did she then brag to Ximena and Fanny he declared his love for her? Who cares if you love Fernando. Despite Ana's rebuff, Angel is still hopeful and upbeat and didn't believe a word Ana said. I do appreciate she removed his hand from her face and told him if he continued with this they cannot see each other as friends but she is confusing me.

So Yolanda the next to apologize but not ready to disclose the real truth or perhaps as someone said the other day, she wants what is best for DN and that is to remain a part of Fernando's life.

Thanks Marta. I sort of felt like much of last night was filler to prolong the Eeky mystery of "who does he actually kidnap next?"

All I could think of with the Angel/Ana breakfast was "Really? You're kidding me right?" All that would have made more sense if we were only half way thru this thing, but now? Angel is now being shown as a total loon who hasn't a clue in his body and Ana came off like Fanny. Just lame at this point..

I agree on letting the kids into school...were phone calls made to the school to warn them what's going on because I would guess they would seriously prefer to leave the children at home as to not endanger other children. They would send the work home, etc. Same for Fanny. Amazing how cooperate schools could be if this was discussed with them. Poor writing.

I will never enjoy the pairing of Jen and Johny. Just me, sorry.

Fanny, loving two guys at the same time. Feel like I'm watching an episode of the Bachelorette. We know who she picks, the one who is a clone of her father complete with temper and jealousy issues. Again, the writers so blew it showing Leon that way to me because that one severe grab he pulled once would have had me kicking him to the curb.

Just keep saying, It's a show, it's a show, it's a show....

Hate to say it, but now I'm in a stage of wanting them to wrap this up. I think we got 25 episodes too much.

Thanks for the Review!

I'm with you Jarifa, I thought the Ana sleepwalking into the bedroom was great. Did anyone notice at one point she was talking to him(in her sleep induced state) and he let her hold his face and he got closer to her, but she then passed out. I thought he would kiss her but looked like he snapped out of it.

I agree Tofie, the crew is very inept and how doesn't he already have an alarm?

What does Edith have to tell Lenin? In her angry state, it could be anything but hopefully she doesn't try to hurt Lenin and Fanny's relationship. I've come around on lenin and think he's better for Fanny than Leon.

I'm really, really not liking Angel. Is he serious? I agree Tofie, Ana should've known what this was about, even though I'm happy with the way she handled it. But this man isn't giving up and he's becoming scary with this infatuation he has with Ana. She just lost the love of her life and he pulls this stunt. For a doctor he's not too bright.

Great work, Marta.

Now I really wish Ana would save face and back off. It is embarrassing to watch her try to get Fernando to pay attention to her despite that we know he hasn't given her a fair hearing. She needs to treat him with polite indifference to get him to wonder whether she really gives a damn anymore and now she is looking desperate. That is never good.

If Ana was bragging, she might need to reassure herself that she is worthy of being loved. She's in a terrible position now with the man she does love determined not to love her. Angel is Fernando's social equal even if he's not wealthy and he is a decent human being. He is also a pediatrician who loves children and wants some of his own.

His problem is that he's delusional despite the fact that Ana couldn't have been clearer. Soledad also needs to give up any idea about Angel and Ana being an item.

Regarding Yolanda: Unless she can really convince Fernando she is afraid of Hissabela, her Karmageddon will be his wrath when he finds out that DN isn't his child and that she knew that before he was born.

Gracias Marta, recap fantastico

The ring thing is totally idiotic, that ring must be stolen.

They could have easily cut this novela by 25 capitilos if they left out the nonsense.

However, I do enjoy it.

Fer is still being a gilipollas

Nice recap.

Fernando asks Fanny to stay home but allows his other children to go to school? Really?

I am waiting for Fernando to apologize to Ana for deceiving her! I am waiting for him to come clean about his visits to Chicago and lusting after a dancer. I am waiting for him to tell her every single place he visits and everything he does after work. Ana had no obligation to tell Fernando anything. I am getting tired of this grudge cry baby Fernando is holding against Ana.

Variopinta,

Good idea about a stolen ring, The ring might be from " I know a guy who knows a guy" or "it fell off the back of a truck" deal. Too funny.

Jarifa

What is getting me is this: Is anybody warning any of their visitors of Enfrique's having invaded the place? Fanny needs to tell Leon, who should probably watch his back when he's ready to return to work.

Does anyone know that Enfrique used Beatriz once upon a time? Should she worry about being in danger?

Speculation, not spoiler: I could see Enfrique kidnapping one of the smaller kids and demanding Fanny in exchange. He (and the writers) would be sick enough to think of such a thing.

It seems as if Osorio brings in characters to further the length of the novela based on whether the powers to be want an extension. Case in point, Angel. Angel was brought in for the sole purpose of giving Fernando someone to make him jealous so the Ana /Fernando fight can be brought to an ending.

No spoiler, just my opinion,

I see Enrique trying to kidnap Fanny; and as Fernando never seems to be around at opportune times, maybe Ángel tries to prevent Enrique from kidnapping Fanny or DN. Remember that Enrique's ghost of a father told him he couldn't let Fernando raise his own flesh and blood, that Enrique needed to recoup his son from Fernando?

So maybe Ángel saves the kids but gets caught in the cross hairs. However if this becomes Osorio's way of putting Ángel and Ana together, I'm going to scream bloody murder. Remember Osorio said this wasn't going to end in a wedding (public knowledge).

I think:
1) that Ángel was brought in when Osorio had the disagreement with PM and wanted him to cool his heels but couldn't totally write him out of the script because of his popularity, so Osorio settled for the next best thing: a short, forced sebatical.

2) Osorio owed Ángel (can't remember the guy's real name) a part after writing him off so unexpectedly from PQEAM at, supposedly FC's insistence.
Why have we gone so many episodes without seeing Enrique since a good part of the story was his revenge against the Lascurians?

It's so totally incredible that Fernando hasn't put 3 and 3 together with the attempt on Don Nico's life, Enrique's quest for revenge, and Enrique running around the city unencumbered. I guess the police have bigger things to worry about, as in catching Drug Lords, than catching a mad man.

Thanks Marta !! I agree UA, I can't stand Ana groveling. This whole Fernando blowup would have been a good opportunity to gain some dignity, mature, and leave the screeching behind her.

Did those two Enrique victims die? or maybe they're still lying in the lawn? No one seems to care.

The one "security" guard sure is a cutie !! Worthless but cute.

Wonderful recap!

Ana needs to give Fer time to calm down. Keeping after him isn't going to work. Plus, the Freaky thing is obviously extremely stressful. I wish she would stop trying to explain, take a step back and let him get through this stressful time.

What a year Jenny has had! Married, divorced, now abt to be married again and get a baby! All in a year!! Wish I could accomplish half that much! LOL

Well, with Angel's reaction post breakfast with Soledad and his upbeat, almost giddy attitude, it's like he thinks it just a matter of time and they will be a couple. He planted the seed, let Ana chew on it a bit and she'll come round. I thought Ana pretty much shot him down without being mean about it, so I guess Angel knows something we don't. She did run back to tell her bff Fanny first thing and she did tell Diego no at first and then they were having heavy makeout sessions. Pucker up Angel.

And now Jenny is going to get a blackmarket ring from Juanidiot as some people think? I wouldn't put it past him.

Thank you UA and Marta. Just catching up on the last two episodes, but your recaps kept me in the loop.

Too much to ponder, just two fast observations.

Jenni look so pretty lately. She is more confident and dresses with more style. Getting away from Chicago was good for her and I guess idiot-Johnny is supposed to be tonic, too. The proposal with the baby was very cute.

Why would Ana meet with Angel? One of her strengths or weaknesses is that she never says "no" to anyone who calls or appears to need her. On the other hand, she was pretty candid with him. (Despite her sin of omission with Fernando, she is often quick to get to "la neta".

What I don't get is why she would share Angel's declaration of love with Fanny and Ximena. Or why it would remain on her mind.

Anon, 10:30, it was mentioned somewhere along the line that the guys that were accosted by Enrique were being attended to and were going to be okay.

Jarifa

How low can Osorio go? Very low. He wants his 11 year old son to be grown up already. I said yesterday that they wouldn't let Sebastian see the video, and today he sees the video. He gives the boy a love interest with love scenes, and now he sees the video that is too adult for his eyes. I'm shaking my head.

The kids still don't have security detail being picked up at school. Zeus is all they've got. Fire that company already.

Thx Jarifa !!

I think she ran back and told Fanny and Ximena because it does mean something to Ana and despite telling him straight up no, she will change her mind. Angel knows her better than she does herself and why he was upbeat. He sees this as his opportunity, when she is emotionally vulnerable and matters not to him how he closes the deal. Takes two though and we'll see how available Ana makes herself to him.

Moping, moaning, ranting Fernando is already on my last nerve. He's so red in the face, gonna work himself up to a stroke.

Cathyx: I agree with you about Sebs. But look at who is mother and father are. I still can't get that picture that Urban posted of his mom's wedding hootchie outfit out of my mind.

Poor kid.

His comment could mean that there is no wedding scene in the finale, not necessarily that Ans and Fernando won't marry at all.

Emilio Osorio is either 12 or 13 years old now; his DOB is on his father's Wikipedia page as 2002 (no further detail). I'm sure he's in a school for child actors (There is a school like this on the upper west side for kids in ballet and theatre) where the other kids understand his family situation better than most normal kids would. I don't know if his real-word sibs are looking at a similar career, but I feel bad for his sister. Growing up in the shadow of a hoochie mama is not easy.

Thanks Marta for the awesome recap.

Love Johnny's proposal. His character is really evolving.

Was surprised that the younger kids were at school. I guess because Fanny is the only one who has been specifically targeted (as far as they know).

I think Ana just wanted someone to talk to. She sees a problem with Angel pursuing her. It would have been more appropriate to have discussed it with Jenny, but Ana does consider Fanny a friend. She might be appreciative by his declaration, but she made it very clear she wasn't interested.

And really, what a skunk. She's so devasted by losing Fer, that it makes her ill (part of that was about the kids, I know), and yet practically the VERY NEXT DAY he's scamming on her?!

Re: the previews of the Ana/Fer/Jen/Johnny scene. Really Fernando?! Luz acts more mature than you.

UA: didn't remember the scene from Monday's ep of Bruno taking the pic, so I watched it again and it wasn't there. Must have edited it out.

Nanette

We know Ana loves him but Fer has started acting like a real jerk! And he's misusing Ana's love of the kids to treat her like dirt. If I was Ana, I would fear how he handles future problems. Because there is no such thing as a problem free happily ever after!

I forgot to mention that I'm glad Ana's starting to get mad about Fer not letting her talk. Hated the subdued, whipped Ana.

part 1...

Tofie, you made me chuckle several times with:
Well, with Angel's reaction post breakfast with Soledad and his upbeat, almost giddy attitude, it's like he thinks it just a matter of time and they will be a couple. He planted the seed, let Ana chew on it a bit and she'll come round. I thought Ana pretty much shot him down without being mean about it, so I guess Angel knows something we don't. She did run back to tell her bff Fanny first thing and she did tell Diego no at first and then they were having heavy makeout sessions. Pucker up Angel
Angel knows her better than she does herself and why he was upbeat. He sees this as his opportunity, when she is emotionally vulnerable and matters not to him how he closes the deal. Takes two though and we'll see how available Ana makes herself to him.

I have to agree with most of that…
But what that made me think is… that most of the ‘to do list’ is on Fernando’s lap.
I agree that Ana should stop trying so hard to get him to listen and give him some time and space.
Fernando needs time to:
1. Continue hearing the good things about Ana and suggestions to listen to her (which is the big mistake he has made so far this period)
2. Re-evaluate the situation between himself and Ana, between Ana and his kids, between Ana and everyone else around them.
3. Admit his feelings for Ana. I don’t think he has many doubts of Ana’s feelings for him (regardless of what he keeps coaching himself that if she lied, then her feelings must not be that deep). HE does not want to admit yet that he needs Ana just as much as the kids need Ana and Ana needs all of them.
4. Re-evaluate his harsh judgement on the lie… I know he holds up high the level of HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY in relationships… but is her lie THAT critical? (again, I am not suggesting he find out the truth about DN’s paternity to bump off Ana’s lie as insignificant in comparison… the needs to evaluate this one lie on its own… )

part 2

Ana doesn’t even have to accept dating Angel for this to affect Fernando. I think Fernando is the jealous type… and it will be enough for Angel to hang around (which I am sure he will if he keeps insisting he has a chance with Ana) for this to be a catalyst for Fernando to realize his own feelings for Ana. If Angel, whether he is actually dating Ana or not, gets to shake up Fernando’s confidence in Ana’s feelings for him, this will be enough to light the fire … whether Ana gives Angel more than the time of day or not.
Jarifa,
I too noticed that when Ana was saying ‘Fernando, listen!’ while she was partially awake at Fernando’s bed, she was indeed holding his face and pulling him slowly and he was not making any effort to pull back. It was as if he wanted to kiss her, but just at the last moment she dropped asleep on the bed.

Johnny tried to explain the 'circumstances' around the lie... but Fernando was not ready to listen... if only he did... maybe he would actually soften a bit

Anon 10:30, yes. as Jarifa said, the security lead told Fernando that the two folks that Freeky had hurt were being attended to by the paramedics and would be alright.

It was interesting to see that in the middle of the crisis over Luz finding Enrique in the house, Ana and Fernando were a team again. Then he began the silly, humiliating behavior that indicates his pain but is also too much. If his children need Ana that much, Fernando needs to treat her with dignity, independent of his relationship with her. Of course he is afraid of his feelings, so he is acting like an unfeeling tyrant.

I had a thought that probably reflects too much of this telenovela, more than good sense and is certainly not a spoiler. Fanny has to write this essay about how things really are in Mexico. Maybe she looks around her and writes about Ana's life, her childhood in an orphanage, being poor, working in a job that exploited her, etc. And, really, the class difference from Fernando is at the heart of so much of what has happened. This opens Fanny's eyes and reorients her career. Perhaps Fernando reads the essay and starts to get it.

This occurred to me because they have made such a big deal out of the essay and whether this career will work for Fanny. And Fernando clearly needs a road map to explain it all, since he won't listen.

On the other hand, maybe everything gets resolved as a result of the trials and tribulations that Enrique is showering upon them.

Oddly enough I once saw an interview with the hoochie-coochie mom on Univision and she mentioned that her older children were excellent students and went to some kind of elite private school. Take it for what it is worth. She seemed mystified herself.

Mati, i like your putting it like Fernando needs the road map. I would say if he allowed people to explain he would have all the pieces in front of him and he would only need to put the puzzle together, but he is so hurt by his own prejudices and restrictions from the past that he is not allowing himself any wiggle room. he knows that if he releases any wiggle room to Ana, he will give in easy. Thus the shell he is building of the unfeeling tyrant... but when it comes to his kids feelings and safety, all blocks are off and he works with Ana as a team again.

Cathyx

Maybe Osorio doesn't give a second thought to what's appropriate for his son being that Osorio himself married an Actress known for her exotic dancing, her, her stint as a playboy model among other more savory things.

Marta.

The guys IkkyLizard hurt are just going to sit back and not press charges? ? Why can't Osorio at least make the script somewhat plausible?

I'm watching "La Mentira" with Guy Ecker and Kate del Castillo and went back to see something in "Cuando Me Enamoro". I must say again, for the uptenth time that nobody does stalker crazy as good as Lisardo. He was just as creepy ,if not more, in CME; and I remember his rotten character in CS 2008. Too bad he can't do dramatic acting worth a hoot. I'm going to see if he actually played a good guy in the past.

I know we are dealing with TN time but it hasn't been but a few days and I get Fernando butthurt a while. He already knows he must reach out to Fanny, give him a few days and he'll soften up or flat out forget he's angry with her. I don't want jealously to be the prompt in reuniting Ana and Fernando, they need and can work through this and it is in times like this, the relationship tested, they can build something long lasting.

What I don't like about the Angel thing is that she may show real (tepid) interest in him without resolving the prior relationship. Accepting a marriage proposal and a week later another man as if he's perfect and an answer to her prayers.

tofie, i agree. for Ana and Fernando to last once they reunite, they must overcome these obstacles the right way, not by attrition but by them looking inside and at their relationship as a couple... not by events caused by 3rd party catalysts...

Fer seems even more rigid now than when he first learned. I think it bothers him that so many people are trying to defend Ana to him. He probably feels like no one is trying to understand his feelings.

Fer, the gilipollas will rescue Ana and the babe who are in great danger & realize how much he loves her. Then he rescues Fanny, & Leon (feeling much better, but still in pain) and Lenin show up to help, Fanny runs sobbing to Leon, her true love. Since Edith happens to be there at the same time, Lenin & Edith go to bed, & she doesn't remove her makeup.
Freaky dies with visions of his padre by horrible means or maybe just shot by the police.

What horrible anvil do you envision for Freaky????

I think there was sth about alternate endings, viewer choice. I think that is just lazy writing & never works out.

Fer finally comes to his senses & gets Ana her own pole for their bedroom.

I agree. The alternate endings thing has never worked out no matter who tried to do it.

Sebastian is intrigued after seeing Ana on the video & becomes the 1st male pole dancer in Mex.

Alternate Endings = Cop Out.

Why didnt Enrique try to hurt Fanny when he creeped in her bedroom? I mean thank god she was ok but Fanny alongside Fernando were the main victims on his revenge list. Enrique has stalked Fanny at least 3 times: at school, in the bathroom at the resteraunt, and hiding in the trees. Couldnt he had kidnapped or hurt her when he had the chance? He desired to get revenge on Fanny. Also how did he know where Fanny's bedroom was?
