Mi corazon es tuyo #165, 11 Mar 2015 Some set-up for the show tomorrow night. Hissa and Arquim plan the wedding crash, Ana counsels Fanny while Fernando likes what he hears from Leon.

Refritos:

none

Lo Nuevo:

Arquimides and Hissabella plan on what they will do to spoil/prevent the wedding. He says he just signed up an extra server/waiter for the wedding catering. He will drive the van. He needs to be near the action too, to coordinate it all. Hissabella drools on how much fun she will have with the unforgettable wedding of the n a c a.

Morning. Siete is slurping Ana’s face, she is not quite aware it is the dog so she says his breath smells bad. She suddenly wakes up and realizes all the young kids are on the bed with them. Fanny comes in, wants for Ana to go with her in the afternoon to start working on picking out a dress for Ana. Meanwhile Fernando wakes up and jolts when he realizes the crowd on the bed. Fernando walks over to Fanny. He asks her for a kiss and they share an embrace.

Fe: You know I love you, right?

Fa: Yes. Dad, I am sorry for the Ana situation…

Fe: I am sorry too. I treated you real bad. I love you. And I will be here for you always… always.

Ana slowly gets all the older kids (had to send Siete to go fetch Nando, Alicia walked in by herself) into a standing hug with Fernando. Just when she has everyone on the hug she grabs a pillow and starts the feather pillow fight while she rolls the bassinet with DN out of the way. Fernando (and Jorge, of course) is enjoying the scene, laughing his head off.

Back to Hissa’s… Arq thought she wanted him to do something related to computers for her. She said hey why not hacking someone’s computer, build an explosive device, etc. I will come up with some genius idea. Arq asks who is it she does not want to get married? She shows him Fanny’s facebook photo of Fernando and Ana on the computer. Fernando and Ana cannot be married.

Back to the feather cloud… Ana is still by the bassinet, Fernando bumps her rear end with a pillow so Ana turns around and joins the fight, directly targeting Fernando. Then she whistles with her finger, time to get ready for school. She gets the troops on line (shorter to taller, which in spanish is called ‘fila india’) then she gets them all to march out… she turns around and gives Fernando a whole lot of kisses… (he enjoys that too, JS must be a fun guy to live with) (all the kids start yelling at Ana to help them… Luz wants her to dress her, Alicia or Sebas asks her to help find the red sweater, etc etc…) while Ana asks Fernando if he is ok ‘I am happy! Feeling better than ever!’ ‘yeah it shows!’ then he asks her to bring her stuff to his bedroom/closet, yeah even her toothbrush lol! (they even squeeze some dance-like shaking). She kisses him, will be right back with her stuff after she helps the kids get ready. (a bit too much Ana yelling is the only bad thing in this scene sequence)

A: I love you!..

F: (pulls her back) I love you!

A: I told you first I love you!... you can’t copy me!! Equis!! (they goof around some more with I love yous and kisses, she leaves him in charge of the baby and he dances his way to the bassinet and picks DN up… this baby is ADORABLE!!)

Hissabella explains to Arq that Fernando is a very important executive and is marrying a vulgar-queen nobody… his kids nanny. Arq asks why she wants to stop their wedding. Hissabella asks if she really can trust him. He says depends on the price tag. He needs a cash advance in low denominations. Hissabella replies ‘with money, even the dog dances’

Jenny wakes up, Johnny is not there. She looks at the clock, thinks it is too early for him to be up. She goes to living room as he is just arriving home with some stuff. He was going to surprise her. He wants to paint Aura’s side of their bedroom until she can have her own room.

At the very snowy Swiss Alps, Diego (HUMPPHH THERE HE IS!!!!) is getting a cell phone call… it is Fernando. Fernando asks where he is, there is lots of static/interference. Diego says in one of the peaks of the Swiss Alps. Natalia went back to Colombia. She is better there. Fernando asks about his hands. Diego says frozen, but otherwise better than ever. Fernando called to invite him to his wedding to Ana on Saturday. Want you to come. Diego is really shocked and not in a happy way…

At breakfast table, it is noisy and a bit chaotic. The kids ask Ana where the wedding will be. Ana says Fernando has not told her. All the kids will need to buy new outfits for the wedding. And the music? Asks Sebas. Nando joins them. Ana says the wedding will be real small(petit comitee, meaning few people, except Ana thinks that is Italian, but Nando says it is french) and very soon. Ana showers Nando with kisses, thanking him.

Back to Diego, he tells Fernando he won’t be able to come. It is impossible. Fernando says it is really important for him to come. Fernando ‘gets it’ that it seems Diego does not WANT to come to the wedding, Fernando impactado.

Alicia asks Ana if Pablo can come to the wedding. Ana says your ‘chinito’ basically lives here so it would be fine.

Fernando comes down and says ‘I talked to Diego’. Ana thinks he means DN so she starts googling ‘did he say Ana Anana??… ‘ and Fernando finally gets it that she thinks he meant DN. Once he tells her its Bro’Diego, Ana asks what he said. Fernando tells her Diego said he can’t come, but Fernando believes it is more like Diego does not WANT to come.

Leon is on the bus, tells Mau he has a surprise for him.

Fanny comes downstairs. She sees Fernando and Ana a bit worried so she asks if they are alright. Ana will tell her about it later. They reassure her ‘better than ever’. So she smiles again. She wants Ana to stop mocking her wlaking and her talking… (in good humor) Fernando has a bit of an issue with Fanny’s super short skirt, but Fanny says ‘lo mas equis del mundo’ and Ana helps keep it from escalating. Fanny asks her dad to check out her latest grades at school online. Fanny goes out. Ana wants to know what else did Diego say. Fernando wants to talk about it later, have a meeting at 9am. She starts puckering her lips as a sad puppy and they get into another cheesy but cute exchange of I love you’s and love you more’s and I will miss you’s… Once Fernando leaves Ana asks herself ‘Ay Dieguito, what’s up with you?’ and calls his cell but he won’t answer. He still looks very concerned.

Ana calls Jenny to invite someone (we don’t know who) to breakfast.

At the poledance studio Jenny is convincing a heavier woman to sign up for some lessons, could even bring your husband along. This sells the lady off. Jenny gets a cell phone call from Ana where she lets her know she is getting married on Saturday. Johnny gets on his knees and thanks God. Jenny is super emotional and happy.

Lenin has another poetry book for Fanny. ‘to hold on to something that reminds me of you would be admitting I could forget you’. He wants her to guess the poet in order for her to get the book. He gives her lots of tips… finally she gets Shakespeare. The book is ‘A midsummer night’s dream’.

At a car dealer, Lenin is buying a car.

At the house it was Magda who Ana invited to breakfast. Ana tells Magda she will marry Fernando on Saturday, and it shows on her demeanor and facial expression. She is really excited. Ana wants Magda to go to the wedding with Angel, tell him she loves him and keep trying with him.

At office, Betty won’t even let Fernando breathe with her hug. She is so excited. ‘Ana brought back your smile, you are happy again’. Fernando assumes the wedding will be at the house garden, wants Betty to handle getting a JOP for the wedding. He is surprised Hissa is not at work yet. It’s almost 11am. He wants her to call Hissa. Then smiles away.

Said Hissa is at the house door, Bruno is trying to stop her from coming in, but she goes right upstairs. ‘Hagame Ud el favor con esa mujer!! No one can come in without Bruno’s authorization!!’

Ana is with baby in Fer’s room. Ana tells baby that no one will separate the baby, his dad, her and the siete kids… Hissabella starts mocking Ana after Ana turns around and sees her.

Outside the poledance studio, Dorofeo (bald now) and some of his thugs in a car… he is figuring out a revenge from Johnny. ‘So Johnny got a poledance school business. We’ll get him where it hurts most’

Hissabella reminds Ana that DN is her son and Ana has not yet had a child with Fernando. Ana and Bruno laugh it off. Ana says Hissa is behind in the news. That Fernando is about to become her husband. Bruno warns Ana to stay ‘tran-quila’ Ana says no worries to Bruno, you can leave us alone. Bruno asks if she’s “sure”. “Sure, sure.” Hissabella admits Ana is the ‘senora’ of the house now. Ana sends Bruno away with her famous ‘tu tranquilo, yo nerviosa’. He leaves. Hissabella knows about the wedding Saturday. Hissabella enjoys that her pranks made Ana suffer for a whole month. And also she will prevent Ana from marrying Fernando. And if it is not clear yet, she declares war on Ana. Ana rebuttes that the love between Fernando and her has overcome all the challenges and together they will fight anything Hissa throws their way. Ana recalls Hissa treating her like crap when Hissa had returned from her honeymoon and spilled her tray and stepped on her saying ‘you are down on the floor and I am way high’. Ana says ‘this is now MY bedroom!’ Hissa notes that Ana has not replaced the furniture. Ana says that means nothing to me, I am way above that, Saturday I will become Mrs Lascurain… (Hissa suggests Ana does not claim victory yet) Remember how long you were Mrs Lascurain?? HAHAHAHA!! Hissa insists that the ‘n a c a’ and the ordinary won’t go away by marrying Fernando. Ana gets into a yoga meditation saying whatever Hissa says won’t affect her, she is in her ‘zone’, stands on open seagull. But she won’t leave Hissa alone with the baby because Hissa could do something to him. DN starts crying, Ana says ‘don’t worry baby I know that spiders are scary, anyone freaks out with them’ Hissa then changes subject, and brags that she did marry Fernando by church. Hissa tells Ana that she could take her son away anytime. Ana finally buckles… Hissa realizes she found her aquiles heel. Ana says she is the one that has given love to that baby. Hissa reminds her whoever laughs last laughs louder. As Hissa walks away Ana asks herself ‘could she really take him away?’

Back in the car in front of Johnny’s poledance studio, Dorofeo tells his thugs they wee locked up in a hotel room for too long. Now he lists the possible victims that would make Johnny suffer, including Ana and his adored Jennifer.

At Ana’s old bedroom bed, Ana is trying some wedding dresses that were sent by the boutique. Alicia and Fanny are busy texting and not watching her. Ana asks them to help her or are they going to keep on texting?. Ana also gets on the phone, but the text is from Fernando. Ana asks them to respect, it is their dad. Alicia and Fanny don’t like the dress she has on (I like the top but the bottom? NOT AT ALL). Alicia does not like the dress. But Fanny does. Fanny texts Leon asking when he gets the car.

Said Leon is at the office. Fernando uses the opportunity to congratulate him on his promotion. And his famous ‘what can I do for you?’ Leon needs to ask Fernando to let him put Fernando as reference to apply for the loan of the car. Fernando puts on a condition. Go to that living area and sit down with me and talk to me about Fanny. Leon would gladly talk about Fanny all day long, even all his life. Fernando asks Betty on phone if Hissa got there. Seems she did, but Fernando is ‘busy’ now, asks her for two coffees to talk to Leon.

Hissa at her office has brought Arq in (to plan her personal vendetta!! Oii!…). She wants to hear all the ideas he has for her. She gets irritated at having to explain to him that Fernando is her ex-husband and Ana is her enemy. Arq asks then how will you get in there? Hissabella comes up with an idea of disguising herself as the new server/waiter, says she is used to get disguised quite a bit. She calls herself ‘genius’.

At the house, the twins and Luz are putting Pablo to the test with the electric machine. Alicia, Fanny and Ana come home and Alicia runs to Pablo, only to get stuck on the charge as well.

Leon and Fernando talk. Leon remembers the last conversation they had. He had broken up with Fanny and had started another relationship. But the love of his life is Fernando’s daughter. He has ended it with Laura. He wants to recover Fanny and realized that acting like he was would only make him lose her, he was acting too possessive and selfish. He wants to change his life for Fanny, for his son, for his mom and for himself. He has to behave like the adult he is now. And confront the problems with character and determination. Fernando likes what he is hearing. Leon says he wants to form a family with Fanny. Wants to offer her a home. Fernando says there’s one little detail. ‘What does Fanny think about all this? Right now she is with Vladimir, with Lenin.’ Leon is sure Lenin does not love her like him. Leon is sure Fanny and him will be together in the end.

Ana with Fanny still in Fanny’s room now, they are also talking about Fanny’s two candidates, Lenin and Leon. Ana wants her to put their qualities in a balance. Lenin is perfect.. Leon is romantic, authentic. Leon is also changing. Now is more mature. She values his effort. Ana repeats Fanny values Leon’s effort. Lenin is doing his life, but ‘el lion’ is really trying hard for her. Fanny says ‘like you and my dad, he changed for you and for us, you loved him but called him Don Hielo’. Ana admits Fernando’s changes surprised even her. She does not want Fanny to confuse her. She turns it back on Fanny, what will you do. Fanny doesn’t know. She has been texting and posting with Leon on facebook. Fanny tells Ana that Leon is now director of the graphic design dept, and has his own house, … Ana is impactada. Ana asks Fanny if she knows what Lenin’s goals are. And the important thing is… who do you see yourself with in the future? Fanny answers again ‘don’t know’.

Hissabella is watching Arq work.. he is going to insert a virus. He mentions the Troy horse… He is hacking into Betty and Fernando’s computer. Hissa gets his drift… the contracting of catering and flowers for the wedding. He will arrange that they hire one extra waiter/server for the wedding. Ready! The Trojan virus is in! Hissa hisses.

Alicia and Pablo think they are alone, but the twins are behind the sofa. The twins are chewing gum and when Fernando is coming down the stairs, the twins spit chewing gum on his hair. Pablo whines that he has curly hair and the gum will be hard to remove. Fernando figures out it was the twins. He yells at them ‘that is not correct!’ The twins run upstairs ('Run for your life, Pareja!!!' LOL!). Alicia runs after them Fernando offers they will help Pablo get the gum out with ice. Pablo calls Fernando ‘dad in law’ which makes him do a double-take. . Then Pablo hugs Fernando saying ‘my sexy hair!’ Fernando comments ‘little lamb hairstyle’. LOL!!

At the little green house, Dorofeo is in the car parked outside. Inside, Johnny is heading out. Jenny is counting money (guess doing the books for the business).

Fernando is in his library going over something on the computer. Ana knocks and comes in, he says ‘you don’t have to knock, my love’. She claims ‘lo cortes no quita lo Cuautemoc’ (referring to a famous futbol player instead of saying ‘valiente’, he smiles) She brought him some tea… he is looking over the wedding catering menus. She gets excited. (the list includes renting equipment and dishware, or’deurs, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, music, transportation of merchandise… I’m glad its not a greek wedding since each broken glass or dish will involve a cost by piece)

He mentions that he is ordering some or-deurs and food and Ana jumps in saying she would be fine with some simple mayo and chipotle sandwiches or tuna on crackers, etc… (her humble origins came out, for sure, he stays quiet but looks a bit discouraged) Then they talk about Diego and the apparent un-willingness of his to come to the wedding.

Arq is still working now from Hissa’s apartment. He will drive the truck. Hissa gloats/hisses saying it will be an unforgettable wedding for the nanaca.

Previews: Hissa disguised arrives at the wedding. Ana is walked in by Nico. Arq from the bus is ready 'let the show begin!' Suddenly Ana and Fernando are at the altar and we all hear a ‘ANAAAAA!!!’ that can come from none other than DIEGO!!! Seems he is hanging from a huge crane over the house. We hear his voice again ‘I am opposed, Mr Judge!!’ we see Ana and Fernando both looking in disbelief.

What about Betty and Diego? She seems like she might be up for some fun.

Thanks, Marta, the recap and detail is great!

So the final drama will be a combo plate with Doroteo going after Johnny and his loved ones and Isabella having declared war going after Fernando and Ana.

My favorite scene was with Fernando and Pablo with his "little lamb hairdo".

I also laughed when Isabela said that each time she picked up her son he threw up on her. She looked like she was wondering why.

The wedding should be interesting with Isabela and her "traditon" of disguises.

Jarifa

Gracias, Marta.

Hissabela is certainly promoting the idea that insanity is contagious. Poor little DN to have that DNA.

I still have trouble taking Dorofeo seriously as a villain. He's not too bright.

The recap= fabulous! This TN = horrible! I can't stand Leon and his unibrow! It's disgusting how he seems so confident Fanny is going to choose him and everything he's doing is part of his plan to get Fanny back! Fanny is still in school! How dare he assume she just wants to settle for being a wife and stepmom to his kid?!

MartaIvett: Thank you for another super great recap! Really appreciate all your detail.

It was great to get a glimpse of Diego. And from the avances, it looks like Nico will make it back for the wedding. As for Ana, increasingly I find her loud humor a bit wearing. Dial it down, lady! Leon: they are doing their best to give you a spit-shine, but the best thing about you is your mama and little boy.

I recall Doroteo's cliffhanger threat last week to get revenge on Ana for ruining his life. Now, he has forgotten about that and is focusing on Johnny?

Hi all!
I've read always enjoyed reading the recaps and comments on this site (to the point that I wanted to catch up on old recaps before watching new episodes that pile up lol) Anyways...I had been meaning to jump in but never did for some reason or other.

First of all I want to thank all the recappers for their dedication, even when a novela gets weary (*cough* *cough* La Gata..) The commentators are also so dedicated!

So the reason I finally jumped in is really a dorky one, but kinda important to me :) Cuauhtémoc, who Ana refered to in the phrase 'lo cortes no quita lo valiente; (still don't fully get that one lol Cuauhtémoc is more than a famous soccer player (although he rocks ;)) He was the last Mexica (Aztec) tlatoani (ruler). He fought to the death for his people against the Spanish invaders, even refusing to give in when they burned his feet. The Conquistadores admired his braveness so much as a matter of fact, that they let him live....until he tried to form another revolt on an expedition they dragged him on to further conquor other peoples. He is highly revered among Mexicans and Chican@s. So this might be the Cuauhtémoc that Ana was refering to. Valiente/brave=Cuauhtémoc. Lol sorry for the looong explanations lol, Like I mentioned earlier, you see, this issue is dear and near to my heart-I named my son Cuauhtémoc. He is my little warrior in training lol and he has the name of a brave warrior, a leader to his people. Ok I'll stop now lol.

Anyway, I really enjoy reading this blog every day, and just wanted to put in my 2 cents. ;)

Also, as much as I'm a sucker for first loves-Leon still hasn't won me over just because he's trying to dominate his childish personality. Lenin has been perfect as Fanny says, but we all know where this is going unfortunately. Xime and Nando I feel belong together, even though I too was mad that he let her in after her behavior at the beginnings. I guess I warmed up to her, and am glad they didn't write her off because of her bipolar disorder. Mental illness is still so stigmatized, and even more in novelas where they seem to just write the characters off as locas. Thats not to say I didn't like Edith btw. Diego rocks and I hope he gets his happy ending. I'm not gonna lie I liked him better for Ana for awhile lol. And finally, I'm not so annoyed at Johnny as everyone else is. I think deep down he's always been a good guy and thats finally coming to the surface despite his mistakes imho anyway. Sorry for the long post, I guess I had lots pent up!
-Kiautli

Don't apologize, Kiautli. Some of my posts feel endless to me, too.

I really wish Ana would dial down the loudness, too. It's so unbecoming and while SN is a fine actress, it doesn't go with her looks and it's too contrary to her track record of characters. It's not like the cynicism and near-vulgarity of Edith Gonzales' Salome, but that was a drama with very little comic relief.

I also agree that Fanny is too young for marriage and parenthood despite having taken responsibility for her younger siblings even during her mother's lifetime. She needs to establish her career first. If she and Leon got married now and waiting four years to have a baby I'd be OK with that but that never happens in novelas.

If Fanny is too young for this Nando truly is. I have to say that Ximena is showing some aptitude with kids when she stood in for Ana the other day as the younger kids came home from school, but that doesn't mean she should even be thinking about having any of her own. She decided a half dozen episodes ago she wants to become a teacher and that will take her another four or five years. Nando, of course, isn't even in college yet.

Diego and Beatriz? That merits some thinking.

I think Ana is being a hypocrit in sleeping with Fernando and moving into his bedroom before getting married (civil) since she made such a BIG deal out of not even letting Fernando hold her hand or kiss her in front of the children before.

I disagree. I think her previous reluctance was about a justified concern that the wedding wouldn't take place. The kids all knew that Fernando was in love with Ana when he married Hissabruja and they were even more upset later that there was a Deep Freeze after the beach proposal. She now finally feels secure that the wedding will happen.

Besides, it would seem ridiculous to hesitate now that both Fanny and Nando have ceased being virgins and Alicia is no dummy about any of this.

I do worry about whether they will have adequate privacy to have relations from now on with all the younger kids invading the bed at will.

I am with UA here. no more secrets, she does not see any more impediments to the wedding, at least not that she and Fernando can't fight together (now that Hissa has declared her intentions). Also, the kids are all for them getting together and the wedding is only days away.

Have a mtg to run to but wanted to mention a couple things i did not include in the recap.
Did anyone notice the different ring tones Diego has for Fernando and Ana? one serious classical slower music and one very happy ranchera/dancing tune.

also, did anyone else notice Leon and Fernando were dressed IDENTICAL in that little meeting they had in Fernando's office? LOL!

I absolutely noticed that. In fact, I remember Fernando wearing that suit and tie before.

The mountain behind Diego during the skiing scene was the Matterhorn.

Great points Urban. Yes it makes more sense since I'm sure everybody and their mother knows about Fanny and Nando with their significant others. It just seems as if the sexual overtones in this novela are somewhat relaxed around kids
Although I readily admit I'm old but have such a good and open relationship with my children that I knew when they first had sex.

Thank you and welcome, Kiautli! I have a bucket list trip to Mex (Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Puerto V) to fulfill sometime by end of '16 where i want to learn much more of the mexican culture and history than I know now. so thanks for the extra detail, which explains why she used his name in place of 'valiente'.

Hope to see you posting more often.

you can tell Silvia and Mayrin are actually friends, or became friends during this project. So i was wondering how they kept a straight face doing that bickering back and forth scene... LOL!

Marta - Thanks again and great catch on the ring tones -- I didn't get that. It was great to see Diego. I guess we will see if he changes his mind.

I am glad that others have had enough of Ana screaming. Last night, every time she spoke it was either yelling or cooing at Fernando. Too much.
She is at her best when she is being a kind, caring and wise caring partner to Fernando and the kids.
She is such a fine actress but needs better direction to do comedy.

And who would have thought that Mayrin would have such a talent for comic villainry?

I did get a kick out of Betty's joy that Fernando is happy again. Cute hug from her.

J in Oregon, i see your point on Leon not really being 'marrying ready' and Fanny nowhere near that either... And yes, Leon is assuming (as he did before but now he is more prepared to support the family) that Fanny is ready for the role.
But I guess he and Fanny will be together partly because of her seeing so much of her dad in Leon and she certainly wants a happy home, just like she has had most of the time. IT will be a matter of them growing up together... even if that road is bumpier than if they waited longer. Another thinkg i did not like was how Leon assures that Fanny does not love Lenin. If she did not hvae feelings for Lenin she would not give him half a chance. It is not that she wants to replace him with Lenin, she does not look like the type who NEEDS a manly figure beside her. Now that she has found a career/line of work that she enjoys, she is more self-confident. As long as they take it slow (no more kids until she finishes her career, etc) they will be fine. But he has to stop assuming her feelings/thoughts like that. What Fernando was looking for was the Leon side, and he got a good picture of that in the conversation. As he says, it is a matter of finding out if Fanny's feelings/thoughts line up with his.

Merci Beacoup martaivett.

"At the very snowy Swiss Alps, Diego (HUMPPHH THERE HE IS!!!!) is getting a cell phone call…" (Fave.)

Lenin reminds me of a puppy (Pomeranian or Cocker Spaniel if we must get into details.) That means he's doing something right (and yes, there's a difference between puppies like Lenin and leg humpers like say, Bruno from PSMA.)

Rockin' recap again!! frankly, I'm more into the recaps than actually watching most days now.

And yes, I noticed the whole confirmation that Leon is supposed to be a clone of Fer. I saw that outfit and about threw something at the TV. Blame it on the writers or Osorio, but I'm never going to be back in Leon's corner because I still see too much of that me Tarzan thing with him. He talks a good talk and sounds sincere i suppose in wanting to better himself, but again with the assumptions and attitude.

And Fanny? How can Lenin be "perfect"..that word just seemed off to me. If someone is perfect for you to me that implies in all ways and in your heart. They throw words around in this TN sometimes that grate...I'm beginning to be convinced someone 12 is writing this thing.

Glad Diego is back, and I doubt he is stopping things. Not at this stage of the game. Does he even know about little Diego?

Can't believe that all involved in this show think a screechy Ana is appealing.

Daisynjay

Wonderful recap!

I think they screwed up the editing bec the last scene with Arq and Isa was the first scene of the show which was totally confusing at that point.

Great to see Diego but disappointed that he and Natalia broke up. I wanted a happy ending for him. And he being so upset at the wedding has me worried he won't have a good end.

Nice to see Nico will be back. Wondering how Jenny will react. Nico's plan came off flawlessly.

Wonder if Yomama will be invited to the wedding. Wasn't liking Ana's dress in the previews.

Daisynjay, I have been thinking anout that "perfect" Lenin, too. I see him being "perfect" on paper. He has what she should want, but she does not have the same feelings for him as León. In opinion, I don't think León woukd be a bad choice. They are both young and have shown they are willing and able to change and adapt.

Jarifa

I agree. Lenin is a good intellectual stimulus, but if there is no chemistry in other areas he is not the right life partner for Fanny. I just hope he accepts that when the time comes.

I think Lenin will, he seems to have that inkling he isn't numero uno, but hoping he becomes the default winner in the Fannystakes should things not work out for them. Rather sad he is willing to be with someone who he is only hoping one day will feel that strongly for him. But like Edith, you don't get the blue ribbon I guess.

Yeah. Carvivlie I sort of agree on Diego, but have to give the folks making this show they are consistent. You don't win the family member, you get Nada. In the Osorio world, it's move on and have a nice day. Too bad Edith was so young, without all the goop, with her interest in photography and people, they would have made a good pair.

Daisynjay

J in Oregon, I also agree 10000% on As for Ana, increasingly I find her loud humor a bit wearing. Dial it down, lady! Leon: they are doing their best to give you a spit-shine

Kiautli,
ITA 1000% on I'm not so annoyed at Johnny as everyone else is. I think deep down he's always been a good guy and thats finally coming to the surface despite his mistakes imho anyway. he is showing the potential he always had... just that he is showing it now that he is truly in love. His realtionship with Ana was never about true love... it was more 'i have my franchises out there but Ana is the one that will always be there waiting for me' (kind of the Marcela character in Yo soy Betty la fea, although Johnny thought she would never even notice another guy.

DaisynJay, i don't buy into the screeching Ana (notice even Fernando covers his ears)... or the Ana who looks like a sad puppy and tries to get her way with Fernando that way. I know she is the romantic kind and he is more than willing to go along with that... but they are both over 30/40, I am sure. So get the normal tone for your age and limit the teenager behavior to when you are in private..
speaking about private, I too hope that this thing about the kids invading their bed at night while they are sleeping will die down soon... or they will get used to locking the door... otherwise, UGH!! about finding some 'private powow' time.
At least those older than the twins can be told (but it sounded like Sebastian did not even notice he was there when he woke up in the morning.)
LOVED LOVED the pillow fight scene although it clashes with Fernando being allergic to the turkey ... there were feathers flying everywhere!!...
DaisynJay, was it you that related Leon to 'me Tarzan'? i saw the Tarzan character and the young man who portrayed him in the shows at my cruise and could not help but imagine Leon in that role... LOL!!! too funny!! he has the shiny longer hair and unibrow already!

Thank you Cathyx, Urban, Marta, for the past few recaps. I usually do my commenting at work so I'm able to post lengthier ones. I was off work on Monday and Tuesday and since I hate my new computer, I commented by phone, which is a pain, so I keep them short.

I’m so glad we’re going to see Ana and Fer as a couple for the last several eps.

Extra thank you to Marta for understanding.

UA: Academy Awards started out as a publicity stunt. They’re still that to a degree.

Thanks Marta: Loved the recap.

In the previews: do you think Diego is interrupting the wedding so he can participate?

Nanette

Thanks, Marta, for the excellent recap.
I think that of the two Fanny suitors, Lenin is the real dominator, not León. He is so condescending towards Fanny, controlling every conversation. Do we even know what he sees in her?

Denise

I feel Leon is world's ahead of Fanny. And putting those responsibilities on a 19, maybe 20 now, who is in school is too soon. Lenin is in the same place as Fanny. Going to school, trying to figure out a career and a future. No responsibilities tying him down. He gives her space and support. He is the best thing for her for now. I think she and Leon can get back formal again, as long as he does not put a timer on her... let her finish her career before they settle down. The fact that Leon gave Fernando a picture of the future he is envisioning with Fanny does not mean that future has to materialize in a matter of months... like he said, they both have to be 'realizados' (this implies she finishes her degree and gets her career/path going) and 'completos' (which again implies maturity and confidence in making the right decision). So I am not against Leon and Fanny ending up together as long as they don't rush marrying and moving in together.

Does anyone else remember Fanny's nightmare about Lenin as her Pygmalion? Denise is right; he's trying to remake her and she doesn't need that. She is moving well at her own speed.

I'm a couple of capitulos ahead of you guys. All I can say is don't miss anything from here on!

Marta: I would be fine if Leon was willing to wait for Fanny but I don't get the sense that he wants to put off marriage for very long. He wants to be a family now. But maybe for once he will put Fanny's wants and needs ahead of his own.

I have to second UA. don't miss anything from here on! action-packed last weeks for sure!

what do you mean
