Que Te Perdone Dios #35 on Monday, March 9th, 2015.
Mia and Effie, who (has sucked up all the lemons on the earth to have such a sour expression outside of her acting) is clearly annoyed, raise a glass.
Fausto asks Ren where Abi is. Ren responds with Abi excused herself to have a breath of fresh air. Fausto refers to Abi as THEIR goddaughter which surprises Ren; she asks what he is up to with the sudden change of heart (if you can call it that.) Foul-sto responds with it's to please her and compensate for all his errors.
Abi laments to Teodora that she's lost Mateo for good and that prompts in Dora spilling the beans to Abi that Diana has been cheating on him with Foul-sto. Dora is a force to be reckoned with; she is going to tell Mat right there, right now. All the while, Foul is in the know about their plan thanks to his eavesdropping.
Tono and Magdo bail on the party. They let Lucio and Simona know they'll be at Lucio's house.
Max is trying to make a pass at a dejected Abi and is resilient until Diego shows up.
Renata is speaking with the young hottie padre and they go to find Abigail.
Max calls Diego a peon and that angers him but not quite enough; Abi tries to stop this and Diego tells her to butt out. Max calls Diego's violent bluff and that results in a fist to Max's face. Max has gotten back up and has a stick when Renata and Hottie Papa (THANK GOD) come around to stop the fight. HP is mega-pissed and wants to see these two men tomorrow morning early in the church.
Diana is drooling all over Mat when Dora says that Mia wants to see her. Diana slithers off of Mat and Dora has found her chance. She lets Mat know that she must talk with him about PrincessDi when Foul pops up and she excuses herself.
Ren asks Diego why he was fighting with Max and he says that Max was harassing Abi. Abi, who just doesn't care, says that he knows how Max is and that she really isn't in the mood for this BS. Diego then declares his love for Abi to Ren (who looks as though she has had an accident in her bloomers.) Ren gently says to Diego that Abi doesn't love him plain and simple (well then.) Diego says that he won't stop fighting for her love, blah blah blah, and that once he was told by Macaria he is an insignificance to Abi. Ren tells him that isn't true and that love is earned, not bought. If Abi someday responds to his feelings, Ren will be the first to support him. Diego thanks her and then walks off; leaving Ren to pray to God, "PLEASE don't have history repeat itself. Help Abigail find true love."
OK, I'm confused. Max is bitching about Diego and his ardent burn at the phallus for Abigail to Tono but wasn't Magdo supposed to be with him? They look too much alike; oh well, on with the recap.
Renata bumps into Fausto whot ells her not fear. She asks why he scared her. Some talk about his new leaf later and Renata says she wish she could look him in the eye and have him say that. He asy she is the only woman to have touched into his love. He says he won't obligate her to believe him or anything; she still wants to know what he is up to. He says he wants to compensate for all his errors. Fasuto strings along his lies some more and I can't watch this scene anymore. He is the fakest novela villain I've ever seen.
Simona is glad Mat has returned because they're in need of paramedics. Diana spews venom but ladylike. Simona and some lady I don't know the name of make it clear he is needed by his pueblo more than ever and to think about it.
Hottie Papa says to Fausto he has heard things about him but tonight his love for Renata was confirmed.
Abi comes inside and Fausto says he must talk with her. He tells Abi that Ren needs her more than she thinks and that only Abi makes her happy. Don't abandon Ren.
FatGuy pisses off Lucio who makes a dirtbag face at the camera.
Fausto lets Ren know he talked to Abi. Ren makes it clear she doesn't care about Fausto and that she is ONLY staying for Abi.
Lucio calls Dora and says Mateo wants to see her by the stables in 5 minutes.

Look, I know this is a dark tn. I don't have problems with dark. I don't need my tns to be all roses and kisses. BUT, four, FOUR fricking rapes before we've even arrived at episode 40! And a threatened one on the horizon with Abi and Fausto! I was left speechless and sleepless last night.

Vivi- In all (un)fairness, La Malquerida has more than four (albeit offscreen) between Danilo and Alejandra.
Corazon- Yep. What happened to young Ale was precisely why I didn't watch in the early episodes. Once she became his prisoner again, I had the satisfaction that she was at least working secretly to bring him down. The women in this keeping rolling like this is their lot in life.
I could also accept the fact that a pimp rapes to break girls in and break them down. In this town and this tn, I would be surprised if half the male character turn out to be rapist. I mean, who's going to have a go at one of the female characters next?! Juanita is still untouched...
It sucks Africa didn't win the award she was nominated for but it's OK since Fabiola (The Brat from DQTQX2) was also worthy of it. They've had ties in the past years too.
Well, we know Abi is already on Santa's/Fausto's rape list. No need for him to check it twice. Max seems rapey like his dad, so maybe between the two of them they'll take care of Juanita and Nieves.

I know Danilo from La Maquerida was a freaking SOB but Fausto and Lucio are still one of the worst . I think i may have been right with nicknaming them Satan and Lucifer cause thats what they are! Besides Lucifer is DEAD in Life to me already ever since he killed Fred without showing any remorse and no ,having flashback syndrome doesnt mean you suddenly grew a concience "Pukes"

Fausto's been leering at Abigail since the first episode she showed up in. He was peeping at her from behind the bushes and then barked at her for swimming all nubile and luscious in the river/lake/cenote/body of water.

Anon207- Mateo is refusing to know. People have told him straight up that Diana is Fausto's lover. When one person tells you, ok you can doubt. But when multiple people tell you, it's time to start looking closely at the red flags.

How can most everyone be falling for the "I'm the reformed Fausto?" Why doesn't Renata say to him in public when there are people around---Oh! so you are turning over a new leaf. Does that mean that you won't rape me any more?
I was all but yelling at Theodora/Dora last night. You don't somehow manage to break away from a rape attempt, run twenty five or thirty yards and then sit down to think about it and cry. You get the hell out of there. You run until you can't run anymore. Or you go back to the party and tell everyone what just happened. Scream your head off. She did scream but not near enough. After she broke away she should have screamed her lung out.
Why don't some of these rapist's get a knife in the ribs when they least expect it?

You could actually see and feel Theodora's anguish last night. Our cries to her to run, to get away went unanswered.
Is Lucio starting to supplant Fausto as the lowest of the low? While killing, raping or brutalizing someone due to one's own twisted motives is bad enough, is it more reprehensible when the crime is committed by another doing someone else's bidding? What was truly heinous to me was Lucio sitting at the breakfast table recalling what he had done. Not repentant, not sad, not remorseful. I felt he was a killer with a conscience, now he is simply a savage.

I actually hope Teodora will do something other than cry ,moan and feel helpless and run straight to Abi to tell her the truth and please for Pete's sake dont become pregnant. When the hypocritical Macaria learns the news she will most likely be drilling Lucio for "sleeping" with her even when she will learn that it was actually a RAPE.

I felt so terrible for Teodora. She had to spend the night with Lucio, and he probably abused her more than once in that case. How traumatizing. I did think that the actress did not overact in the aftermath, on the way home. And I'm glad she didn't drown herself. What happened to her is awful, but she deserves to live. I was partially relieved that Lucio didn't kill her, but didn't know that he would rape her. It is ridiculous that he can/will "rape on demand." Marcelino really gave him a dressing down, asking what he was doing there, that he's low-class, a grasper who's fooling himself.
I couldn't believe Diana, on her first morning as a guest in her new family's residence, would have the gall to opine as she did about Abi and servants in general. doorMat is such a dope. It's been mentioned that Diana's dad was a friend of Fausto. He was rich but left a lot of debt when he died. That's when Fausto stepped in to fill the void, so to speak.
