Empressa Ripoll
Patricieeeeewwww continues seducing Marisol. In his mind, he’s just demonstrating what
sexual harassment in the workplace looks like.
Meanwhile at Casa Chava, Chava finally takes notice that
Marisol’s running a little late and decides to call her cellphone and it goes
straight to voicemail. He decides to go
check on her. Lupe is so proud of her
son, watching over his sister as though he were actually her father. Actually Lupe, it’s just that since he’s no longer
joined at the hip to his güerita,
he has nothing else to do. Luckily for
Marisol, he’d do anything to get away from Aracely.
Highrise Cantina
Irais and Matias are having a good time and she’s had a bit
too much. Jughead insists on drinking a
toast to “impossible loves.” Irais
insists on getting the check before it gets too expensive, blah blah blah. He agrees to take her to her depa and maybe
continue the party there.
El Lobo de Dos Patas
Chava’s too late. The
scene opens with Marisol and Patricieeeewwww getting dressed and she’s
crying. We can only assume he’s had his
way with her. Scumbag. He tells her not to cry and says that for
him, this was a very beautiful thing.
She continues to cry, saying she hadn’t wanted to go so far *sob*! “There’s no reason for you to feel so bad,”
he says, “I see it as proof of your love.”
She explains it’s just that she never, ever…… He knows, and now he thinks more of her. As he helps her on with her shoes, the seduction
continues. He tells her that while he
was crazy about her before, he’s now hopelessly in love with her. Cochino!
She continues to cry and he keeps telling her everything will be ok and
nothing will happen. He tells her to go
home. It’s late and he doesn’t want
anyone to worry about her. He tells her
he’ll dream of her and will count the hours until he sees her again. After she leaves, he sits back, proud that he
was successful in taking Marisol’s virginity.
His vengeance against Chava has begun.
Chava catches up with her in the parking lot as she walks
alone in the dark. She lies and says her
cell phone battery died. She explains
the late hours on wanting to make a good impression on her new boss job. Chava tells her to at least give him know
when she’ll be working so late. That’s
what big brothers are for. He knows
something is wrong when she shrugs off his arm as they walk toward his
motorcycle. She blames it on
fatigue.
Casa Ripoll
Sofia tells Fausto Aracely thinks she’s just putting on an
act for Chava’s benefit. Her own sister
hates her! Fausto empathizes with her
situation but such is life. He thinks
Chava will persist in declaring his love for her. “I agree,” says Sofia, “but maybe there is a
way for Chava to bury his love for me and marry Aracely.” Fausto gasps.
Casa de Chava
Once home, Marisol tells Lupe she’s too tired to eat and
just wants to sleep. Chava still thinks
something’s up with Marisol, she’s too quiet. Lupe thinks it’s nothing more
than exhaustion. Chava thinks Patricio may
be giving her too much work. If he only
knew.
Jughead and Irais
Matias and Irais party down at her place. Silliness ensues and somehow Jughead and
Irais end up rolling around the living room floor.
Casa Ripoll
Sofia reflects on Geronimo’s words, offering himself up as
the “other man.”
Casa Chava
Chava has a nightmare.
He’s searching in the dark, calling out for Sofia. He sees her in the distance and ends up
seeing her kissing an unknown man in the shadows. He wakes suddenly, calling out her name.
Depa de Irais
Jughead and Irais wake up, tangled in each other’s arms on
her living room floor. ‘nuff said. aaaaaagh!
They apologize to each other and promise to forget anything happened.
Casa de Chava -- the
next morning
Lupe and Aracely, ever the perfect picture of domesticity,
are busy in the kitchen. Lupe tells
Aracely she shouldn’t doubt Sofia’s
word, she wouldn’t lie about something so serious. Sofia only wants what’s best for her and her
little angel. Lupe’s convinced Sofia
sacrificed her happiness for Aracely and her baby. Aracely doesn’t know what to think and to be
frank, who knows if maybe someday Chava will be able for forget about
Sofia. Lupe suggests she be patient and
little by little, things will change.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity
Guillermo the director is still pissed off. “That fulana (meaning
Irma) was on the most important news program ranting (desporticando) about you!” He’s been too careful to protect this
project to allow one incident of bad publicity kill this project. Paolo tells him to chillax. Alexa’s not to blame for that woman’s sick
jealousy. Paolo suggests they should
instead focus on increasing security with a 2K radius. Duh, yathink? Alexa again says she did nothing to cause
Irma’s attack. It’s all the same to
Guillermo. It doesn’t matter who’s fault
it is but it’s still bad publicity for the film. He once again warns Alexa against any further
disruptions. He hopes he doesn’t live to regret giving her the role. She promises no more scenes, vale? “That’s what I expect!” Guillermo shouts back
off screen. Paolo is consoling her when
the Televisa crew shows up again asking Alexa if it’s true she’s a “quita-maridos” . Paolo tells them it’s nothing more than
chisme, invented by the tabloids to increase sales. He pulls Alexa to his side and says, “Alexa
is the woman of my life!” Alexa’s all
“QTH!?”
Casa de Irma
Irma warns Armando not to start cuz she’s not in the mood
for it. They’re arguing in front of
Nandito who looks really worried.
Armando tells Irma there are no words for what she did yesterday! She’s crossed the line! Nandito complains about them arguing after
have just become friends again. Armando
assures Número Uno
they’re still friends but just need to iron something out. He sends Nandito to his room. Armando stupidly tells Irma he’s in a
relationship gained through many tears and a lot of suffering so he will not
allow her to ruin his happiness. “You
have no right to tell me what I can or cannot do!” she tells him. Armando tells her she has no right to go
cause a scene at Alexa’s workplace in front of the press and tell lies about
her! Irma insists they’re not lies! Armando insists Alexa’s done nothing to her
and she may as well get used to the fact they’re living together. Whether she likes it or not, Nandito will be
living with Alexa! “Oh yeah?” sneers
Irma, “Have you forgotten who got custody?
If I feel like it, I can decide that you’ll never see him again!” Armando warns her not to even think about
it. Even though she has custody, he has
the right to see him. WHOAAAA! Irma pulls out the big guns, “You have no
right because you’re not Nandito’s father!”
Irma blew it cuz Nandito is listening in on their conversation from the
hallway and comes running into the living room.
Ay, ay, ay! “Why are you saying
that? Why do you say he’s not my
father?” For once, my friends, Irma is
speechless. Darn.
Nandito cries “Tell me it’s not true! Tell me he
is my father!” Irma says she’s sorry but thinks it’s time he knew the
truth. Armando stops her from saying
anything else and torturing his son.
“He’s not your son!” She says, “He’s going to learn the entire
truth this very moment!” He shouts at her to shut her trap as we hear Nandito
crying in the background. Irma goes to
Nandito and starts telling him his father was that nice man they visited in
Guadalajara. Remember? That sick guy in the hospital? Nandito doesn’t seem to hear her through his
tears. He turns to Armando, “That’s not
true, right?” Armando pulls Nandito near
and tells him he’s his father. He looks
at Irma and reproaches her for telling him this. He looks Nandito in the eye and assures him,
“I’m your father!” Irma shouts at
Armando to stop lying to Nandito. She
pulls Nandito away from Armando, saying Nandito’s old enough to know the
truth. She turns to Nandito, who is
still crying, “You do not carry Armando’s blood. You are not his son.” Nandito can only cry, “¡Papá, Papá!” Armando approaches and tells him the truth,
“It’s true, you don’t have my blood, but you are my son.” Nandito, frightened and confused lashes out,
“Liar! You’re not my father!” “Don’t say
that,” pleads Armando. “Don’t say that because you’ll break my heart. I was there when you were born. I taught you your first steps. Me!”
Irma steps between them and continues spewing her poison. “But you’re not his son! Don’t worry, you’ll
be able to have your own children with that cusca Alexa. After all, you are living with her!” Armando shouts for her to stop, saying she’s
not hurting him, she’s hurting the boy.
“Listen to me Número
Uno. Even though I’m not your biological
father, you are most important for me.
I’ve always loved you more than my own life!” Nandito cries out, “Leave me alone and don’t
talk to me because you’re not my father!”
Nandito runs from the room while Armando calls after him, “¡Hijo!
¡Hijo!” Irma yells, “You heard him,
leave him alone!” “How could you?” asks
Armando. “How could you hurt our son like that when you were so willing to give
your life for him?!?” Irma insists it
was time to open his eyes. Armando: “You’ve put your rage and jealousy above your
son. Your need to ruin my relationship
with Alexa is more important than your love for Nandito! I will never, ever forgive you for the pain
you’re causing my son! ¡Nunca!” Irma’s not so worried, “Let this be a lesson
for you, Armando. If you’re not with me,
you’re with no one! Nadie! I’m going to
ruin your life so you’ll never be happy!”
Armando leaves in tears but not before stopping at the door of his son’s
room, sobbing. He leaves without saying
goodbye to his son as Irma stands triumphantly in the living room. The next sound you hear is the chisel
engraving her name on the anvil.
Geronimo’s Highrise
Office
Gerry gets a visit from Sofia. He’s surprised to see her. She tells him she accepts his proposal. Ay, ay, ay.
He lays out his plan. They’ll let themselves be seen together in
public. It won’t take long for Chava to
find out. Sofia thinks this is what’s
best for everyone concerned, especially her sister and her baby. Geronimo continues to pile on the
compliments. Her noble gesture makes him
admire her even more. He’s impactado by her unselfish desire to put her
sister’s happiness before her own.
Sofia again expresses her need to put her nose to the grindstone
and bring Chocolates Ripoll up from the ashes and pay off all the debt, including
what’s owed to Geronimo. Gerry tells her
not to worry about the money. He’s in no
hurry for her to repay him. She thinks
otherwise. She needs to improve their
cashflow. She asks about the “friend”
who was interested in selling her products overseas. She explains her dad is working on some new
recipes that could be viable in the international market. Gerry doesn’t know where the “friend” is now,
but will put him in touch with her as soon as he returns. He’s very interested in helping her because
he knows how important it is for her.
She’s very grateful for his assistance and generosity. She wants to review their agreement. She
feels it may be unfair to him. He’s fine
with having the company as collateral against the loan. Sofia insists on reviewing some of the
details. She wants to be sure the
agreement is fair to them both. Gerry is
more than happy to accommodate and will revise the contract for her approval
later. She thanks him for his
friendship. He repeats he’ll always be
there for whatever she needs. She leaves
and he says to himself, “Every step, every decision you make, brings you closer
to me, Sofia.”
Taller de Don Manuel
I’m telling you, ever since The Breakup, Chava’s spending a
lot more time at work. He’s on the phone
with Dani and asks her about Marisol’s hours.
He knows she just started this job but wants to know if these late hours
will continue. He and his mother are
worried. Dani’s not aware of her hours
but agrees to verify for him. Chava
apologizes for being an overprotective big brother and thanks her.
Empressa Ripoll
Dani checks in with Patricio regarding Marisol. She explains Chava called, concerned with
Marisol’s late hours at the office.
Patricio repeats his story about reviewing various quotes. He thought it would be a good learning
situation for her. I’ll bet. Dani suggests he ask the other secretary for
assistance. She wouldn’t want to expose Marisol to any danger since she has to
walk home. No problem for Patricio. Dani leaves and he laughs, “That stupid Cruz
thinks he can protect that Nacquita.
Imbecile, if he only knew I already robbed Marisol of her
virginity.” ugh. There are no words.
Prison – Reclusorio Sur
Silvana visits Cristian and tells him she can visit him more
often now that Peralta forgave her.
Cristian sarcastically says she should be happy now that she can be near
her lover. She clarifies that Patricio
is no longer her lover, they got married.
Cristian congratulates her on finally getting the only thing she always
wanted. She tells him it wasn’t the only
thing. He knows only too well she’s
always wanted revenge on that bruja Ripoll.
She’s livid he ruined everything.
She takes it down a notch when this angers him. She says they planned the vengeance for their
mother’s death for so many years and it was all ruined because of his obsession. He sniffles, “Mi Daniela. I knew she would’ve learned to love me.” Silvana becomes frustrated and tells him to
stop thinking of that estupida! It’s her
fault he’s in jail. He continues to cry
that Dani will always be his one great love.
Silvana tells him he must forget about Dani. She promises to hire a good lawyer to get him
out. Then they will find a way for Greta
to get the punishment she deserves. She
reminds him they took an oath over their mother’s dead body. They must keep their promise. Cristian is lost in thought and she has to
snap him out of it. He asks for a
favor. He tells her to find Dani and
tell her he’ll never stop loving her.
Nunca! ew, creepy. Silvana’s disgusted.
Empressa Ripoll
Matias tells Irais they should talk about what happened last
night. He admits he’s feeling something
when he sees her and doesn’t blame it on the alcohol. He feels as though he’s been struck by lightning. Smoochies!
She feels the same way.
Everything’s going so well, the kiss, the music, then Jughead compares
her kisses to Ho-veth’s. SLAP! She assures him she’s no second fiddle.
Marisol comes to talk to Patricio about last night. She wasn’t able to sleep a wink for thinking
about what happened. He tells her not to
regret it. It was beautiful. Marisol tells him she likes him very much but
worries what he must think of her, that he must think she’s easy. She swears she’s not. He asks how she can think that when he
received the gift of her virginity? ugh
He only feels adoration and respect for her. She giggles and asks if that’s really
true. Pato responds, “I’ve had many,
many women. But last night with you erased them from my memory.” Oh, silly Marisol, shows her naiveté by her
response, “I can’t believe a man as handsome and as princely as you would
notice a humble girl like me from el barrio.”
He tells her she’s worth more than the whole world and kisses her. She tells him she was really worried when her
brother came looking for her. No, she
didn’t say anything to him. She doesn’t
even want to imagine what he’d do if he found out. Good, Patricio tells her, “For now this will
be our secret, our secreto de amor.” “Oh
Patricio,” she says, “you say the prettiest things.” “You inspire me,” he tells her. ugh, I think I’m gonna be sick. ew, he leans in for a kiss, calling her
“Pequeña mía” and continues to kiss her.
Oh man, I can’t wait for someone to walk in on them.
Marisol is panicked to learn that Chava called Dani. Patricio tells her Chava doesn’t want her
working late so it will no longer be possible to see each other in the
office. He can’t stand being away from
her and tells her not to worry about it.
He’ll find a way from them to enjoy their love, Pequeña Mía. This makes her happy and they embrace.
Delegación
Silvana is back before Tavarez. He tells her not to feel responsible for what
her brother did. After all, she did what
she could to help him. Yes, but it
wasn’t enough, she says. She plans to
continue helping him. She only hopes his
attorney will find atenuantes
(extenuating circumstances) to allow for an early release. Tavarez promises no attorney will find a way
to reduce the sentence because kidnapping has a minimum sentence of 40 years
with added years for the attempted murder of Greta Ripoll. Silvana tears up at this news.
On Location
Paolo and Alexa are sharing a moment at the craft
table. They’re laughing and wiping each
other’s mouths when Armando walks up.
Still no security? Armando asks
what’s up when she avoids his kiss. She
tells him after the scene with Irma, they need to be careful. The press is everywhere, calling her a roba-maridos. Paolo advises them to limit their PDAs. Well,
Armando advises him to limit his. Paolo laughs this off but Armando doesn’t
find anything worth laughing about.
Paolo starts to explain he finds it funny Armando is jealous of his love
scenes with Alexa. Alexa asks him to
stop right there. Paolo, serious now, will
leave it up to Alexa to explain to Armando how important her job is. He walks away before Armando can get a hold
of him. He doesn’t want to hear that
there are love scenes between Alexa and Paolo.
She reminds him it’s a romantic movie.
She assures him there are no nude scenes but there are romantic scenes
with demonstrations of affection, vale?
Armando wonders if they have to continue with the affection when they’re
not working, or what? He describes the
way he saw them when he arrived. She
reminds him Paolo is her coworker, her leading man. Armando assumes it doesn’t bother her for the
press to see her kissing Paolo. She
explains how it works with the press. If
they report on her relationship with Paolo, it’s good. If they write about her relationship with
Armando and his crazy ex, that’s not so good.
That’s show biz, güapo!
(showbiz=negocio del espectaculo). Armando’s all apologetic, saying he didn’t
come here to cause problems. They can
talk later. She accuses him of being
jealous and asks him to stay awhile. He
doesn’t think that would be a good idea.
He might see things he doesn’t want to see (like love scenes). He’ll catch her later at home. Alexa’s frustrated and appears not to know
what to make of this.
Taller de Don Manuel
Armando calls Chava to let off some steam. He tells Chava he’s really upset after
visiting Alexa on the set where she acted almost as though she didn’t know
him. She wouldn’t even kiss him because
of the scene Irma caused yesterday. The
press is now like vultures (sopilotes),
waiting to pounce. That, he can handle,
but he can’t handle seeing her with Paolo, all happy and laughing. Chava assures him Alexa loves him and reminds
him that she moved in with him against everyone’s wishes, including her
mother’s. Armando knows all this but
he’s beside himself thinking of her kissing Paolo in every scene. Chava reminds him this is all part of her
work as an actor. Armando comes out with
it. He doesn’t know if he’s so much
pissed at this or the latest jab from Irma.
Chava tells him to chill. They
can meet later at Cuco’s and Armando can get everything off his chest.
Nighttime falls on
Casa de Irma
Nandito is crying in bed, boohoo. Irma brings him a sandwich but he doesn’t
want anything, sniff. He’s not hungry, sob.
Nandito finally lashes out at Irma.
Why did she lie to him? Why
didn’t she tell him that man they visited was his father? Irma doesn’t know what to say, so she
lies. She had wanted to tell him but
Armando was so angry he made her keep her mouth shut. Yeah, it’s all Armando’s fault. “You have no idea how many arguments we had
because of this. I couldn’t go on with
all the lies and knowing the consequences, I had to be honest with you. Now you know the truth. Your real father died after we visited him in
the hospital. That’s why he wanted to
meet you. His name was Ramon. He’s in heaven now but you have your mother
who will always take care of you and loves you more than anything in the
world.” She hugs Nandito, who’s still
crying. boo-hoo
On Location
Paolo hopes Alexa isn’t angry over what he told her bf but Armando
should know by now what her job is all about.
Alexa defends Armie, saying he know how important acting is to her. She also criticizes Paolo for being so
combative with him. Paolo says Armando
will see the film sooner or later so it’s best Armando is prepared for what
he’ll see on the big screen. Alexa says
the story is very sweet, but there are a lot of kisses involved. Paolo would like it if they were real but
he’s happy enjoying them on film. He didn’t mean to cause her any
problems. His only wish is that her
personal life doesn’t interfere with the film.
She’s new to this and he wouldn’t want to see her career derailed due to
bad publicity. He wants her to be
successful and happy with whomever she chooses.
He just wants her to be happy.
She’s worried about why Armando came by without calling and hopes
there’s nothing going on that he needed to talk to her about. Paolo tells her not to worry. She gets a text message telling her Armando will
be home late tonight. She worries she’s
been ignoring him lately. The director
calls for everyone to get into places.
Lights, Cameras, Action!
Empressa Ripoll
Geronimo arrives with the revised contract. The company is still collateral against the
loan and there are a few “minor” changes.
Sofia proceeds to sign without reading the contract. What kind of business school did she go
to!? Gerry suggests she sign it when
she’s more relaxed. Sofia feels it isn’t
necessary. She trusts him implicitly. Fool.
She signs page after page and his grin grows wider with each page
signed. Sofia tells Dani she’ll be home
later, after dining with Geronimo. Dani
takes the opportunity to thank Geronimo profusely for his help during her
kidnapping.
Casa de Chava
Marisol complains to Lupe about Chava calling her work. Lupe tells her it isn’t just Chava who’s
worried about her. She’s plenty worried
about Marisol walking home alone late at night.
Aracely reminds her about the dangers of being out alone and points out
Dani’s experience as a warning. Hearing
that Chava is meeting Armando at Cuco’s after work, Aracely whines that she
hopes Chava isn’t staying away because of her.
Lupe tells her not to worry.
She’ll see that Chava will soon accept her as part of the family. Aracely repeats how she’s praying Chava will
come around and provide a home for her child.
Lupe is sure it will happen.
She’ll see.
Empressa Ripoll
Chava arrives just in time to see Sofia leaving with
Geronimo. He really wants to speak to
Sofia but she tells him they’re in a hurry and Gerry tells him they have
reservations. Chava assumes they have
business matters to discuss but Geronimo tells him this is pleasure, not
business. Geronimo announces that Sofia
has agreed to give him the opportunity to win her over! tan-tan-TAN
Chava is muy impactado!
