Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #172 4/20/15 Is This the End for Silvana?
I'm kind of tired tonight so this will be a quick and dirty recap. Let's get to it!
Monday's Episode:
Dani wants to think about something other than her harrowing experience with Iker. She tells Lucas that she is going to work and that she will see him there. They make out in the kitchen while their annoying theme song plays in the background.
Lupe', Marisol and Matias gang up on Chava to let the perpetually sobbing Araceli stay at the house. Chava finally agrees to let her stay and says that while he will support her and the baby, he has no intention of marrying her. Ever. Never, never, never. Ever. End of story. Finito.
The Ripolls gather in Sofia's bedroom to talk about Dani's ordeal over morning coffee. Dani tells them that psycho Iker didn't want money, he wanted her! He was obsessed with Dani and hired thugs to kill Lucas - but the reason he came to the Ripoll house in the first place was to kill Greta!
Pato has been ordered to bring Silvana back to face Peralta. Pato warns her that in order to save both of their hides, she's going to have to throw Cristian under the bus. She must tell Peralta that she had no idea what Cris had planned. Silvana wonders how Peralta found out that Cris was her brother. She asks Pato if he told Peralta.
Dani explains that Iker wanted revenge because his mother killed herself after Octavio ended their affair. Greta recalls that Romelia phoned her several times claiming that she was Octavio's lover. Greta confronted Octavio about the affair and he swore on his daughter's lives that he was not involved with Romelia. Iker claimed that Greta sent the gun Romelia used to kill herself. Iker tried to kill Greta with hallucinogens and by substituting placebos for her heart medication. Greta suddenly realizes why she was "seeing" Octavio's presence in the house. Sofia says they have to tell Tavarres about Iker's attempts to kill Greta.
Pato denies telling Peralta that Cris is Silvana's brother.
Oliver and Jeronimo talk about Dani's kidnapping and rescue. Oliver admits he's still in love with Dani.
Fausto is angry that Iker came into the house to harm the people he loves. Sofia wonders if maybe Octavio was involved with Romelia. They all know that Octavio wasn't above lying, threatening and stealing so cheating on his wife could easily be on the list too.
Chava apologizes to Araceli. They are still friends and she's his baby mama, but he reminds her that he is in love with Sofia.
Tavarres tells Sofia that Iker's fingerprints are on record after an arrest for drug dealing. Iker was in rehab for a long time and was released only days before coming to work for the Ripolls. His real name is Cristian Blanco Cabrera. Sofia is shocked, "That's Silvana's last name!"
Iker sits in jail and fantasizes about Dani. Lucas is allowed in and they fight through the cell bars. Lucas is dragged away by the guards.
Sofia tells the family that Iker must be Silvana's brother. She was the one who recommended him for the job. Tavarres says Silvana will have to answer for her role in Dani's kidnapping and the attempt on Greta's life.
Lupe' assures Araceli that Chava will come around. Once he sees Araceli's pregnancy advancing he'll change his mind and marry her.
Irma has fixed breakfast for Armando. She appreciates him taking Nandito to school, he appreciates the time with his son. Irma flirts and makes nice and coyly asks, "What was the important thing that you have to tell me?" Armie thinks it's best to be honest so he informs Irma that he and Alexa are living together. She explodes in anger and takes a swing at him then starts throwing things. "Get out of my house! Get out! Get out!" Armie runs out the door.
On the way to Peralta's, Silvana gets a call from Tavarres. He knows that Cris is her brother and she has to come in to the police station to talk to Tavarres about what she knows. Pato reminds her to blame everything on Cris.
Paco and Greta talk about Octavio. Greta insists that he was not having an affair with Romelia, but Paco reminds her that Octavio wasn't a saint.
Silvana arrives at the police station and Sofia confronts her. "Your brother kidnapped my sister and tried to kill my mother! You sent him to our house!" Sofia slaps Silvana hard across the face, then hauls off and slaps her again. Chava and Tavarres pull Sofia away.
Paco tells Lupe' that Iker was poisoning Greta. Sad Sack Araceli comes out of the bedroom. Lupe' tells Paco that Araceli is now living with them. Paco doesn't understand because Araceli isn't a homeless vagrant. She can always live with him. Lupe' insists that Araceli stay with her for the sake of their grandson.
Iker gives his statement to the police. He admits kidnapping Dani and blames Greta for his mother's death. Silvana tells Tavarres and Chava and Sofia (why are they there?) that Cris sank into psychosis after their mother's suicide. She knew he fell in love with Dani but swears she didn't know he wanted to kill Greta. Silvana thought he was better after his long stay in rehab. She apologizes to Sofia, "I thought he was okay. I'm sorry. I didn't know. I should have left him in rehab. Now he'll go to prison." She asks Tavarres if she can go see Cris.
At the factory, Pato runs into Marisol and tells her that he missed her. He takes her into his office to talk. Pato schmoozes Marisol with how much he's been thinking about her. She admits that she's got feelings for him too. He gets closer and says, "Let's get carried away by this feeling." His seduction is interrupted by a call from Noemi. Pato tells Marisol that they need to arrange for some alone time.
Fausto and Greta talk about Octavio and Romelia. Greta thinks that Romelia was nuts but Fausto is sure that there was something between them. Why would she kill herself if there wasn't some kind of relationship?
Tavarres tells Sofia and Chava that Cris's statement matches Silvana's. Chava smells a rat and suspects that the two of them were in cahoots. Tavarres doesn't think they had the time or opportunity because Silvana has been living elsewhere.
Araceli sobs to Irma that Chava didn't welcome her home invasion with open arms. Irma snaps that all men are just rat bastards that can't be trusted. That damn Armando is living with Alexa!
Chava tells Sofia that Manjarres was found dead. Chava wants to get back together with Sofia but she tells him to forget about her and take care of Araceli. It's over between them.
Chava, Dani and Lucas give their testimony to the police.
At the factory, Paco welcomes Dani back from her ordeal with a hug and a kiss. Matias and Irais are happy that she's back and safe again. Even Marisol seems happy to see Dani. Lucas and Dani thank Oliver for getting his father's help with the ransom. Oliver denies that he even asked Jeronimo; it was all his dad's idea because Jeronimo likes Sofia and the Ripoll family.
Silvana arrives at Peralta's office. She tells him that he has nothing to worry about. Her testimony matched Chris's. Peralta doesn't quite know what to think of Silvana - turns out she's capable of murder! What to do? What to do? Peralta comes up behind Silvana and puts his hands around her neck. "You're a loose end, Silvana."

Now that Dani is safe and the kidnapping foiled do they return all that money they collected for her at Ripiff Choc and CoCo's? Is Fuzzy gullible enough to believe Silv? That would make him dumber than Chava? Is that possible?
I don't like the quick antiseptic way Peralta kills. There needs to be more tortue and agonizing payment for sins. They need to chase Silv through the jungle for a few weeks. Then make her work in a nursery for newborns until after menopause. It would be fitting for Silv and Chris to see that it was not Grrrreta, but rather their crazy Mom.

2.) Sophia doing the double-slap on Silvana. Reminds me of NBC's The Slap!
3.) Lupe is really STUPID into thinking Chava will come around to marry Araceli Cosby!
4.) Dani & Lucas making out in the kitchen. I'm surprised they didn't rip off all of their clothes & had sex right there.

Jarifa, i agree with you on all your points. The one's that stick out to me are: Why was Chava and Sofia present for Silvana's questioning? Exactly! What was that? And Lupe, she is pathetic as a mother. But Tofie was right, if he's going to do his own thing he needs to move his lazy behind out and get his own place. Lupe shouldn't be throwing her weight around on this and should mind her buisness, she's only causing problems. The gang up on Chava was also unfair and ridiculous. Chava should've stood his ground but he punked out like the moron he is.
Speaking of Morons, Chief Tavares appears to be one also. Kirby, it looks like he bought Silvana's story. I guess it's beyond his thinking to believe that maybe the brother and sister thought of this in case he got caught. It also looked like Sofia was buying it also from the look on her face. She's dense also. The fact that she believes anything Silvana says after everything that's happened is boggling my mind.
Like I figured, it looks like Marisol is softening and is changing her attitude. I don't see a anvil for her, just a little heartache.
Also, Chief Tavaress letting Silvana talk to her brother like that was beyond stupid as well as letting Lucas talk to him and in the process grabbing him like that. Don't these writers study police procedures before putting this garbage on film?

Salvador is just creepy, bet he tries to go into the ladies room when Sofia wants to take a pee. Is this supposed to be endearing? I am so anxiously waiting for Lo Imperdonable but i have never liked much of Ivan Sanchez, i dont like how he talks because he is very hard to understand especially when crying. But he is still very guapo so i will try my hardest .
I dont much this show much but when i read that Pat was chasing his balls after Marisol i was like yuck. I never liked Marisol much anyway so its not like i feel that bad for her. I always loved Irma though , she is fantastic . As for Araceli i dont know , i will have to catch up on this show a bit to like her since i am still stuck at episode 90.

At least Sofia finally started growing a hmmm...something slapping Silv into next week rather than the "oh poor pitiful me" she usually does. Will Sofia ever figure out that Silv and Pato were an item for so long.
There are so many truths which need to see the light of day with Silv Patprick and Peralta. I want Dulliver and Sofia especially to see those three and their evil plans. I want Grrrreta to see Patprick for what he truly is, but she would prob not admit it if it stared her in the face. She would prefer Sofia marry a low down cheating murderer like she did.

Silvana is a pretty good actress in this show as she can turn on the tears at will. Peralta seems to be the only one who has her number. He sure loves to fondle that dagger. I hope Silvana lives so she can buy Sofia a nice present for a baby shower someday. :-)

Is this why there was a change in actresses playing Lupe? Wouldn't the other Lupe have told cryingme that she has to stick by her son, and since cryingme set this up and as a grown woman who is a professional she should deal with it but she should have no hopes of marrying. Instead we get this crazy turnaround. The previous Lupe seemed to show good sense.

Thanks for your kind thoughts Niecie. It's been a rough week. First, my neighbor left us a note that our dogs had gone through the fence and hassled her dog. So hubby and I spent the weekend turning a horse enclosure into a dog-proof enclosure. We had to put up heavy field fence with an electric wire around the bottom to keep them from digging out because one of them is a "tunneler". Now my dogs are penned up and really, really unhappy because they are used to running around the entire farm. They whine every time they see me. It breaks my heart, but I'd rather have them penned in than have someone report them to the Sheriff. But... now I know it's only a matter of time before the coyotes discover the dogs are penned and then it's chicken dinners for them every chance they get.
Then we found out that the small water heater in the kitchen is leaking, so we're going to have to replace that. Unfortunately all the $$ went into fencing in the dogs! I spent yesterday weed whacking the perimeter fence line and have days more work to do. This is the third time in 8 years that I have spent weeks pulling Scotch Broom and cutting blackberries off the fence. None of the neighbors even make an effort to maintain their side of the fence. I swear, sometimes... Maybe I should say I swear ALL the time. ;0
