I cracked up when Abi went to Fausto's office and he had that picture of himself on display there.

Also, what is up with Lucio romancing Violeta (Marcelino's wife)? Is that actually going to go anywhere, or was it just some filler?

I don't think Max should have trusted Fausto. He should have set up a meeting or passed along a message. As we saw in the scenes with Renata, Fausto can seem reasonable and convincing, even call forth tears, but he's still lying.
 

Just a thought, but I think Lucio is going after Marcelino's wife to get back at him. Since Marcelino is running scared and hired a body guard, Lucio is going a different way. It will be Interesting to see where this goes.
 

Fausto is such a clever, slick bastard . I cannot believe he gets so away with manipulating people and this time he shot the Joker here with Mac cause like who would believe that beach anyway? He trully is capable of fooling the elect and i laughed hard when Ren told him our favorite catchprase : "Que Te Perdone Dios ,Yo No" but later she croaks on fake tears . So much for having sensor eyes but yet they cannot detect the dirt ahead of you ?! Mac's vengeance will be supreme, i promise ya that!

I hate Marc so much , why should Vio feel sorry for him, she should have gotten out ages ago now its too late for her anyway , sayonara Democracy Hello Dictatorship! Luc must be having so much fun manipulating her to his own ends.

I feel bad for Sim , too bad she might lose her house soon ( Cause it inevitably has to happen soon right?) . The auestion is where Tony will live , with Padre Tomas or with the Cugarsitters ? I take the first option!

I am relieved to see that viewerville did not fall for Faurto's fake crocodile tears. It is so sad to see that Ren did. Betcha Dona Constanza would have gone for the juglar. Funny how she the crazy one, but she would see right thru his bulls__t. Ren gonna feel so horrible and stupid when Faurto rapes or tries to rape Abigail. Oh my, is Ren going to sleep with him now, as well as campaign for him??? Interesting how the devil states the truth, the selected truth but is lying and crying. He left out part that he was 100% behind Bruno and Mac and DID shoot Pablo beteeen the eyes. Creepy evil indeed.
 

So it was Dani who met Ren and Xi who went to see Barragan? I was a little confused because I didn't see Friday's episode.

I saw the first few minutes so really appreciate the conversation translations between Max and Fausto. I have to give the boy props - he stood up to Fausto remarkably well for having a gun pointed at him.

I saw part of the Renata/Fausto scene where he was in tears (real or crocodile?) but it looked like she was buying whatever he was selling. Tell me it isn't true!? Looks like she did by the comments.

TF, it was the same twin. I believe it was only Daniella who tagged along w Max. She did so under pretense that she was bored and wantef to join him to his little pueblo, but really wanted to hire Barragan to find Doc Patrick. She used be her sister's body double to her sister Ximena's husband Doc and child. In the process she fell for him. She is the nicer one, but also unstable since she's been instituonalized for many years. When Doc sees her, of course he will think it is Ximena.
Gringo, Faurto lent Simona the dough to pay Mia when she was being blackmailed. F and marcelino set her up when they found out Simons needed and wanted to pay Mia for her silence regarding Tono. Soooo now
that she is in jail, they called that debt in and she signed her home as collateral, which she now stands to lose if she misses a payment to Faurto. Shady right?
 

Diana, I really dont think Renata will sleep w Faurto, I was being dramatic on earlier comment. BUT she did agree to supoort his campaign for Dictator. Ha! She believed everything he said because she felt croc tears on his reptilian face AND because she kept remembering that Father Tom told her she was unforgiving person. I had to remind myself that priests are human and just as vulnerable to human deception, as he was deceived by Fausto.
 

That's what I thought, Novella Lover. I shouldn't be surprised that Daniela is putting a plan in motion to find Pat. Anyway, Ximena is off enjoying some R&R. And Daniela can't be herself, she has to pose as her sister.

Anon 9:32, that is a great explanation for why Lucio could be seducing Violeta. I've never seen in TV or real life a woman go to a bar or restaurant to drown her sorrows like that. It screamed "plot device" to me, and if it was to get her meeting up with Lucio it makes sense.

Oh yes, the meeting of Ren and Daniela, the two women after Dr. Pat. Cute how they already met and liked each other.

ITA Max was the voice of reason with Fausto and stood up to him well.
