5/12 #188 Tue Hasta el Fin del Mundo – Alexa’s plane has vanished! ¡Que te lo digo yo!
Lucas thanks everyone for his success -- mom, Abue, and Dani – yay. Lucas is taking everyone out to dinner to
celebrate. Lucas dreams of everything
he’ll buy when he’s successful, a house for mom and abue and a recording studio
for Dani. She tells him she wants
nothing but to be with him. How do you say Pre-Nup in Spanish?
Casa de Chava
Armando and Nandito are visiting with Marisol. Armando tells her about his plans to go to
French Guiana in search of Alexa along with Paco and Greta. Marisol offers to babysit while he’s
gone. Just then, a news bulletin on the tele announces the jet carrying Alexa Ripoll has been reported missing and has
presumably fallen into the sea. They’re all in shock and Armando assures Nandito
Alexa has to be ok.
Armando gets on the phone to the airport as Sofia and Chava
walk in. Nandito is crying and breaks
the news to them. Sofia doesn’t want to
believe it and breaks down.
Peralta the Conductor
Peralta air conducts Wagner and we can assume he’s
celebrating Alexa’s demise. Dulliver
walks in with a sad sack look on his face and tells dad he wishes he could be
as optimistic as dear old dad. Geronimo
insists Ollie has lots to be optimistic about – he’s a champ! Not to mention the heir! Ollie tells him money doesn’t buy everything
in life. He assures dad he’s very
grateful for the opportunity he’s been given and is working hard to make him
proud. However, he just can’t get over
Dani. He can’t stop thinking of her and
wanting her in his arms again. He
doesn’t know what to do or how to control his feelings. Well, this is his lucky day. Gerry says the time has come to recover
Dani! huh? Geronimo explains he’s heard via his personal
pilot that Alexa’s jet has vanished, and you know what happens when a jet
disappears over water……uh, you get wet?
Ollie wants to rush off to see Dani but Gerry tells him to
hold off until Dani finds out through the news.
She may not have heard yet, but when she does Oliver can console her and
stay by her side. Oliver worries this
news will destroy both Dani and Sofia.
Gerry says, “It’s terrible that so much tragedy has hit the Ripoll
home. Hopefully this will be the end of
their bad luck.” He has to turn away
from Olliver to hide his smirk. bwa-ha-ha
Casa de Chava
Sofia is in Chava’s arms trying to understand what’s
happened. Nandito offers to pray for
Alexa. Armando’s on the phone with a
reporter friend to see if there’s any more news. Sofia wants to run off to be with Greta and
Dani but Chava suggests she wait until they have more information.
Cruz Roja
Patricio believes Gerry’s spiel that he’ll make sure
Patricio’s cleared of all the accusations.
Silvana thinks that’s only fair since Patricio’s been his number one
employee. Silvana winces as she pats her
cheek. Patricio notes Sofia packs a good
punch! He can only wish it had been him
who punched her as payback for what she’s done to him. Silvana is miffed Sofia
slapped her in front of everyone! And to
make it worse, Sofia accused her of being Patricio’s accomplice in the arson
and murder of Lupe. Patricio doesn’t
understand why Peralta doesn’t just finish off Chava and Sofia once and for
all. Silvana suggests he ask Peralta to
do it so they’ll stop accusing them all the time. Patricio plans on doing just that so they’ll
never have to see Chava and Sofia’s faces ever again! On another note, the doctor has advised he
should be released tomorrow if everything goes well. Patricio plans on finding a good plastic
surgeon to fix his ‘scar’. Silvana smiles
when she says she doubts they can do anything for him.
Oficinas Peralta
Oliver can’t see how dad’s plan could work. Dani hates them both for being part of their
disasters. Gerry insists Dani’s wrong. Oliver disagrees and points out that Gerry’s
only concern after the fire was to get his hands on the property. Gerry asks what he was supposed to do, just
forget about the money and hand it over to them? He’s not in this for charity. Business is business. Oliver thought he’d be kinder, considering he
was in love with Sofia. Gerry sees it
differently. He did Sofia a favor by
accepting the property in lieu of payment.
Oliver is now suspecting his father uses his money and position to wield
his power over people. Gerry insists he
acted in the best interest of the group/company otherwise things could have
ended up far worse. Sofia could have
ended up in jail.
Later, Oliver watches a news bulletin on his phone regarding
Alexa’s jet. Regina catches up to him
and is shocked to hear the news
Depa Ripoll
Paco, Chava and Sofia drag themselves in, bearing bad
news. Dani’s out with Lucas. Greta walks in and immediately knows
something’s wrong by the look on their faces.
They hesitate to tell her but Sofia tells her their flight for the next
day is cancelled, then blurts out that Alexa’s plane didn’t arrive. Greta is confused. Sofia starts by explaining they’ve checked
with the airport and were told the control tower lost contact with Alexa’s jet
and assume it’s fallen into the ocean.
Greta screams and then faints.
The following day, a distraught Greta lies in bed with Sofia
and Dani beside her. They’re sure Alexa
will turn up. Dani is sure Alexa will
fight for her life, neta. Greta is sure
Alexa will return. Chava and Paco
return, but they don’t have any news other than the jet had gone through some
turbulence before they lost contact and a search is now underway. Paco kneels before Greta and urges her to
have faith.
Cruz Roja – Battling
Bickersons
Patricio is being released.
He tells the doc that what he needs ASAP is a plastic surgeon. Both the doctor and Silvana ignore him. The doctor leaves to sign the release
papers. Silvana, acting the part of the
sweet loving wife, tells Patricio she’s brought him a change of clothes. He assures her that if she thinks things will
remain as they are, she’s very wrong. He
will never forgive her and will pay her back!
Crazy Bitch Silvana tells him, “Do you know why I did it? You’ve betrayed me many times. You boinked Chava’s sister and gave her a
child. Me? You left me dry and empty inside! This was your punishment, Tesoro. But don’t worry. I’ll care for you with so much
affection…..” His response to all this
‘affection’?: “Largate, you sicko!” She informs him she’ll never leave him. He’ll never get rid of her. He tells her he never wants to see her
again. “Too bad,” she says, “because
from now on, I’m your shadow.” tee-hee
Casa de Armando
Regina has come by and says she heard what happened to
Alexa’s jet. Armando’s understandably
upset and appreciates her concern. He
tells her Nandito is it taking pretty hard, not to mention what the Ripoll
family is going through. His desperation
is such that it feels as though it’s drowning him. He can’t get it into his head that Alexa may
not have survived. He feels so
powerless. Alexa’s in the middle of
nowhere and here he is unable to do anything.
How long would she survive in those waves? Regina tells him to have faith that the
rescuers will find her along with everyone else. Armando tries his best to stop his tears and
says he knows Alexa will fight with all her strength because she’s a
fighter. She will not give up. Regina urges him to keep up that positive
attitude. He thanks her for coming by
and he’s left alone with words for Alexa, “You are my life. I’ll be here waiting for you. Dear God, please bring her back to me.”
Depa Ripoll – Let us
all sing Kumbaya
Lucas is with Dani, offering his support when Oliver drives
up. He offers his help. He knows he may not be welcome after his
father’s behavior but he wants to be there for her. Lucas rubs it in that Ollie’s dad was a major
pain and Ollie can only agree. He tried
to reason with his father but for Geronimo Peralta, nothing is more important
than business. Dani thanks him and knows
he had nothing to do with his father’s actions.
However painful it is to lose the house and the company, it helped her
realize how much she values the people she loves – her family. She would give anything to find her sister,
to know where she is. Lucas agrees
family is what’s most important. He
never knew his father but he had his abue, who gave him all her love. He could never imagine being without
her. Dani throws in that he has his
mother who also loves him. Oliver says
they’re lucky to have such a loving family.
In his case, his father is very strict who expects a lot from him. Dani tells him he also has a mother who adores
him. He knows this and realizes it’s
been some time since he’s seen her. Dani
thinks he should seek her out, neta. He
shouldn’t wait until something horrible happens to realize how important it is
to have loved ones near him. I like to imagine the choir sits in the
patio, singing as Oliver mulls this over.
Casa de Chava
Sofia is worried Greta’s heart won’t survive this
anguish. Chava knows she’ll be fine and
says a mother always manages to find strength when it comes to her
children. Sofia doesn’t know if she’ll
be able to keep the faith. She has to be
strong and keep up appearances but it’s really difficult. Chava knows she’s always been the family’s
pillar but she has him now. She can
count on his support and love. They tell
Marisol there’s no news other than the rescuers are continuing the search. Sofia tells him he should go back to
work. Oh yeah, that. She’ll be fine. Marisol offers her support. Sofia was so kind to her during the Patricio
fiasco and she now wants to return that kindness. Sofia will be happy with just her love. Marisol encourages her to pray to La
Virgincita.
El Taller
Whaddya know? Both
Armand and Chava are working on a
car. They discuss the importance of remaining calm and keeping the faith with
regards to Alexa. Armando changes the
subject and asks about Patricio. Armando
can’t believe Geronimo would pitch in to help Patricio who is now seen as a
criminal. Geronimo would be buying
nothing but trouble. Chava agrees but
he’s no fan of Geronimo. Why, Geronimo
is capable of using his dirty money to buy off a judge to free Patricio just to
get back at Chava and Sofia.
Depa de Patricio
Rocking his new Phantom
look, Patricio is home. Nurse Silvana
hands him his pills. I can’t believe
he’d accept any meds from this woman, guess he didn’t read Cynderella’s Crazy
Bitch rulebook. Well, he takes the meds,
but then he throws the remaining water in her face. Aaaaaaand the bickering continues. She can’t believe he would behave this way in
return for everything she’s done for
him. The best thing she can do for him,
he yells, is to disappear. He won’t be
happy until she leaves! She answers the
door and it’s fuzzy Tavarez. He’s here
to arrest the Phantom! I’d say Patricio
has cara impactada, but we really can’t see his face now can we?
Oficinas Peralta
Oliver is thinking back on Dani’s words about the importance
of family.
Lugar de Cuco
Greta officially meets Rosa.
They talk about the kids and how wonderful they are. I’m not sure I got this right but I think Paco
thinks it would be a good idea for Greta to invite Rosa to her home. It would serve as a distraction. Greta can only cry. She can’t stop wondering why Alexa hadn’t
come to her to say Alan was forcing her to leave her home and her family. Now that ruffian is responsible for Greta possibly
losing her daughter. Paco tells her to
calm down. Cuco comes by in a rush to
tell them he saw Patricio being taken to the hoosegow. Paco fills her in on Paco’s alleged
involvement in the arson and most likely Lupe’s murder!
Delegación
Patricio swears his innocence and informs Tavarez his
attorney will have him outta here faster than you can sing “Music of the
Night”! After Tavarez leaves, Patricio
says he’s sure Peralta will get him outta here.
Dream on, Phantom.
Meanwhile, Silvana is at Peralta’s office on Patricio’s
behalf. Silvana pleads for her
husband. She’s afraid that without
Peralta’s help, he’ll spend the rest of his life in jail! She humbles herself and gets on her knees,
saying her brother’s already in jail.
She now begs for his help in helping Patricio. She will be eternally grateful for his
mercy. He helps her up and calmly offers
her his hankie, saying he’s always moved by a woman’s tears. He promises they’ll resolve this in the best
manner and instructs her to listen carefully……
Word gets around
about Phantom
Chava gets the news Patricio’s been arrested. Armando hopes this is just the beginning of
good news. Chava calls Sofia with the
good news about Patricio, not Alexa.
Marisol gives thanks that Patricio didn’t get away. Paco and Greta stop by to visit. Greta is shocked about Patricio and shocks
Viewerville by saying she is grateful to Chava for having taken Sofia from that
psychopath!
Jail
Silvana comes to see Patricio and tell him that Peralta
wants him to take the fall for everything and plead guilty. Patricio quickly realizes this means a life
sentence, at least 30 years. Silvana
swears she tried to get Peralta to change his mind but no matter how she
pleaded, his response was always the same.
Patricio realizes he’s been hoodwinked.
Ever the loyal wife, Silvana offers to threaten Peralta with going to
Tavarez and tell him everything she knows.
Patricio knows this is no good.
As soon as she threatens him, Patricio is as good as dead. Silvana
realizes Peralta’s won. And so does
Patricio. He tells her his life balances
on her keeping her silence. He has no
choice but to plead quilty.
Ollie visits Mums
Isadora hugs her son.
She never thought she’d see him again and thought he had forgotten
her. He’s very sorry. ruh-roh.
Peralta’s snitch, Morgana finds Oliver there and acts as though she’s
happy to see him. Isadora tells Oliver
that she has been able to maintain sobriety.
Oliver wants to make up for lost time because he loves her. They both cry and hug. Morgana wastes no time in calling Peralta,
who tells her to keep him informed.
Nobody knows the
trouble I’ve seen……
Alone in his cell, Patricio laments his misfortune. Peralta has played him for a fool and now
he’ll have to pay for Peralta’s crimes. Well,
boo-hoo-hoo!

Thanks so much, Paquita. You had me giggling throughout. You were especially inspired by Pato and Silvi. Those two should be in a show all on their own. Can't believe Pato was stupid enough to not realize Peralta was setting him up to take the fall. He should be grateful that he didn't take care of him like he took care of his cousin.
Three nights to go and they have to add finding Alexa to the mix. Ok. Seems like there should be plenty of fodder letting the villains implode without that kind of filling.

Well, the Phantom has some interesting choices.
1. Go to prison for life...no plastic surgery
2. No prison time but mercilessly killed by Peralta
3. If he could avoid 1 & 2, even worse spend the rest of his miserable life with Silvana.
Hope he goes to prison and turns on Peralta in exchange for protection. But that makes sense.
Do we see the light bulb glowing, albeit very dimly, in little DULLiver's head? Will he leave the dark side before it is too late?
Did anyone mention to Isadrunk that her drinking buddy/personal thief died from alcohol related organ failure?
Is Regina smart enough to figure out that her boss is a warlock who reports directly to satan? Will she tell anyone?
What will Peralta do about DULLiver's newfound connection with his profoundly sober Mother? I wish someone would lick all that makeup off her so we can see what she looks like.
Lucas better get his record "contract" in writing and notarized BEFORE horn dog..er Analis discovers he wears a chastity belt.
Marisol is proof if there ever was proof that adversity makes you a better person. But she WAS hot while boinking the Phantom.

My thoughts on this TN so far.
For the life of me, I don't understand why they feel the need to put Lucas and Alexa front and center right now. I agree with you Viv, there's so much going on now that they don't need to add more nonsense to fill up time. Lucas singing career is not important enough to use up valuable time(unless they plan on setting something dramatic up between him and Analia and Dani,which I doubt).
As far as Alexa's dilema, it was a stupid premise set-up to begin with. All she had to do is say she was being blackmailed, especially since it wasn't her body. I always ask myself, why are the writers introducing this and what do they want to show? This whole situation was unneccesary and stupid. It was also a colossal waste of a new character(Regina). I think she could have brought much more than what they've given her.
I would have preferred the writers focus more and the Paco/Greta Reunion, or the Pato/Silvana/Peralto situation. They could've even had Irma show up and proved she's not really changed and finally get the anvil she deserves. But they waste time with this nonsense we're seeing.
The previews show Oliver's mom banging on the door as if she's trap somehow. Fire? Gas? Don't know but it doesn't look good.
Another Plotline the writers could've gone with is Oliver and his relationship with his father. It's apparent that Peralta values his son far more than anyone else. Why not develope that plot more and have Peralta betrayed by the only person he truly values, his son. I think a just anvil for him would be if his on flesh and blood would discover his father's dirty deeds and despite loving his father, he would turn him in to the police. This would drive Peralta over the edge and if acted right would be very dramatic. Then Oliver would inherit the company and run it right.
I wish they would just keep Regina away from Amando, that is just awkward all the time.
Also, I need to re-iterate, Lucas does know that the money is only an advance and is not free, right?

Alan thing is a waste of novela time--I don't. Think about it from Peralta's viewpoint. The dirty old man wanted the beautiful
young blonde goddess Sofia but she rejected him. His original plan was to get the land for his new development project, so Chocolates Ripoll had to go. He's accomplished that but now it's payback time for making him suffer a rejection from Sofia. He wants to hurt her more than she already is. How to do that? Take out one of her sisters. Dani or Alexa, Alexa it is. Did he collaborate with Alan? Don't know but an airplane out over the ocean was a perfect opportunity for his evil. What Peralta didn't count on was dolphins and rainbows which we probably will see tonight.
