Alexa tells Alan he’s crazy if he thinks she’d leave
everything she has to run off with him.
Alan can’t believe she’d prefer such a boring, married life instead of
an exciting and adventurous one at his side.
Alexa can’t believe his ego! She
insults him, calling him a dreadful (pésimo)
director and a patán (cad, uncouth). He tells her that if she were to see “Amores Estremos” (apparently the name of the
film) she’d feel differently. It’s
turned out so well, that it is now in the hands of an important director, Cesar
Baldomer. He’s a worldwide porn film
distributor. He shows her the film on
his iPad. She tries unsuccessfully to
grab the tablet. He insists it’s a work
of art. He’d love to the face of her bf and
her adorable son when they receive a copy of her pornographic film! She pleads with not to do this to her. He says she’d no longer be the fairytale
princess. Instead she’d be the fogosa (passionate) princess. He thinks her boyfriend would go ballistic if
he were to see this film.
Later, he shows her photos and tells her to rip them up if
she wants, he has thousands of copies waiting to be released. “After all the pain you’ve caused me,” cries
Alexa, “you still want to bother me. You
are a cancer in my life. It’s too bad
you didn’t die!” He sarcastically says
he loves her too, but even more after he’s seen how pretty she is in the
film. Alexa charges that the images on
the film are bogus. He must have hired
body doubles. She never appeared
nude! “Ah the magic of editing,” he glibly
replies. The girl he hired was identical
to Alexa. No one will doubt it is
Alexa. Not even her mother! She begs him to destroy the film. He’s sorry, but he can’t. He’s waited a long time for this moment. He heard about the important film she was
making. It’s fantastic she’s become so
famous and is featured in magazines. He’s
so happy for her, and himself. She begs
and begs that he not release that film.
Here comes the offer: No one will
see that film if she agrees to come with him and star in his next film. He’s got it all set up to shoot in French Guiana. She refuses to go with him anywhere. “Fine,” he says. “Just be warned I will release this film to
the media and make sure it’s spread throughout the Internet. Your promising career and your relationship
with your Yeti Mexicano will sink faster than El Titanic!”
Meanwhile, we see Nandito showing off a photo of Alexa in a
magazine to his schoochums.
Back at the restaurant, Alexa gives in. Alan has set up a press conference to announce
she’ll star in his next film in French Guiana.
He’ll also announce he is now her director and representative. He tells her to wear something despaparante (flashy?). He walks away as Alexa weeps.
Whodunit?
Chava agrees there’s no incriminating evidence against
Peralta but he knows if she were to file a complaint about the arson, Peralta’s
name will pop up. Paco is in agreement.
Sofia agrees to have the authorities find the perps. She’s concerned about the employees while
this is all taking place. She needs to compensate them. Paco doesn’t think the sale of the house
will cover that. There are employees who’ve
worked there for many years, not to mention her other debts and
commitments. Sofia only knows she has to
pay them, it’s only right. Paco fears
she has no other choice but to fold when it comes to Peralta. Sofia agrees, or
she could end up in jail. Chava won’t
hear of it. If the only way to avoid
that is to hand over the property, well so be it. Peralta may have won this battle, but not the
war. After all, he says, she’s a
brilliant woman who can’t be defeated.
She’s going to rebuild that factory and it doesn’t matter where. With Sofia’s talents, and Paco’s, they will
rebuild. Hugs!
Later, at the delegación, Sofia files a complaint with
Tavarez, hoping he can find the culprits who torched her factory. He’ll open up an investigation cuz aside from
handling homicides, burglaries, assaults and kidnappings, he also handles
arson. With regards to Lupe’s murders,
he now has the sketches made from the witness accounts. It was really difficult because the perps
were dressed as women. Chava won’t rest
until those assassins are caught and pay for murdering his mother.
Peralta Industries
Peralta speaks with Paco about what a shame it is for a
company to go up in flames just when it was getting back on it’s feet. He boasts, and toasts, that his Torre Magnus
will rise over the ruins of Chocolates Ripoll.
Pato chuckles that Chava and Sofia will now live in poverty. Peralta laughs at Sofia choosing to live on
whatever scraps her husband can provide.
She chose badly.
Like the Phoenix,
Chocolates Ripoll will rise from the ashes!
At Paco’s, he reminds Sofia and Chava that when he started
out his business was much smaller than his house. They can remodel Aracely’s bedroom to hygienic
standards, maybe even tear down a wall for more room! They can start with small orders and go from
there. Sofia’s encouraged. With her contacts and his formulas, they have
many possibilities. Chava, of course,
has to have a line so he says they have the heart and the get go to make
it. Paco goes to the door where he
receives a package. It contains an
announcement that they’ve won an international prize from the samples he
sent. Yay! Didn’t get the name of the organization but
they’re very excited about their products and would like to discuss
distribution. Turns it it’s a monetary
prize. Hugs! Paco doesn’t think they’re in the position to
meet any distribution orders. Chava
comes to the rescue again and says the prize money should be enough to get them
started. Wow, what would they do without
Captain Obvio?
Barrotas
Marisol is done helping out.
Migue sees she’s still bummed and tells her to cheer up. Marisol exits the store and we see a car
speed up. Ugh, it’s Silvana. She gets out to remind Marisol that her
problem could be “their” problem. She
repeats her offer to take the baby so Marisol can go on with her life as though
nothing happened. Marisol tells her to
bug off! Silvana just wants to help her
so she won’t destroy her life. She
should give up the false hope that Patricio will one day acknowledge that baby
and give it his surname. On the
contrary, he doesn’t want her to have this baby. Marisol doesn’t care what he wants, she’s
still going to keep it. Silvana has to
spell it out for her, “Patricio doesn’t
want the baby to be born. He’s planning
to rid himself of it. He’s going to
force you to abort.” Marisol makes it
very clear she will not go with Patricio anywhere to have an abortion! Silvana tells her not to be so stupid, “Patricio
can rid himself of that baby in a number of ways. He make set up a fall, or a trip and make it
look like an accident. He’s capable of
anything to get what he wants, believe me.”
Marisol promises she’ll take off somewhere where he won’t find her. She won’t let him harm her baby. She rushes off across the street onto the
path of an oncoming jeep! SAS! She’s knocked out on the pavement, bleeding
from the mouth. Silvana only worried
this may have harmed the baby. She
quicklty leaves the scene.
A crowd soon gathers as the driver calls in the authorities. Chava and Sofia walk up. Chava cries over his sister. Waaaaaahhhh!
Have to give him credit for not beating on the poor slob who hit
her.
Casa de Armando
The little family sits at dinner while Nandito chatters on about
showing the magazine photo to his school chums.
They also talk about Alexa’s movie but she’s clearly not engaged in the
conversation. She’s far away in her own
thoughts. She tells him on screen kisses
are not real, she just follows the director’s orders to make it look real. Nandito makes them laugh when he asks about
kissing someone with halitosis. yuk,
yuk. Nandito promises not to watch when
she dies or gives someone a kiss on screen.
He leaves the table and Armando wants to know what’s up. Alexa fibs and says she’s just tired. She’s the woman of his dreams – doesn’t work,
makes dinner, and does the dishes. Vale.
Peralta Industries
Pato stalks Regina as she’s leaving for lunch. It’s not gonna be that easy, pal. She tells him it’s not a good idea for this
to become a habit. It’s best for her to
go alone. He tells her about a
recommended restaurant. She’ll try it
out to see if it’s as good as he says – but she’ll go alone thank you very
much. He understands, he doesn’t like to
pressure anyone. HA! She thanks him coolly for the recommendation
and walks away. He looks after her,
smiling his wolfish smile.
Of all the bars in
Mexico……..
Matias has found employment as a waiter. He happens to walk by as our two neighborhood
goons are enjoying a copa. They laugh as
they joke the tequlia better not sting as much as that FIRE. Jughead’s ears perk
up. He listens as one guy says there
nothing like the sight of flames and the sounds of something burning!
Cruz Roja
Marisol comes to.
Chava and Sofia tell her she’s had an accident but luckily didn’t suffer
any fractures. She remembers and blames
herself for being so careless crossing the street like that. She’s in a lot of pain. She frantically asks about the baby and Chava
breaks the bad news that she’s lost the baby.
She sobs and says she didn’t want anything to happen to her baby. Sofia sends Chava off to get some water as
she consoles Marisol, saying it was an unfortunate accident. Marisol remembers, “Silvana came by and told me such horrible
things and that’s why I ran off so carelessly.
She said Patricio wanted to get rid himself of our baby; that he would
find a way for me to lose it! And look
what happened!” Oh, snap! Chava is listening at the door! grrrrr
Later, Marisol has told Sofia about Silvana’s plan to take
the baby. She hadn’t said anything
because she wasn’t planning on meeting with Silvana or accepting her
offer. That’s why she was so upset when
she saw Silvana. Who would’ve thought
that she herself would have ended……..waaaaaah
Sofia tells her not to blame herself.
If anyone’s to blame, it’s Silvana for coming and scaring her. Marisol says that no longer matters because
she’s no longer expecting un hijooooooooo!
waaaaaaah
Sofia tells Marisol there are some hard lessons learned in
life. She’ll recover in time and get
over this painful experience. They’ve
noticed Chava hasn’t returned and Sofia assumes there was no water at the
vending machine. She goes off to find
him. Sofia’s phone chimes and we can
surmise he’s sent her a text cuz she says, “He heard us!” She tries to contact him but her call goes
straight to voicemail. She hopes hothead
Chava isn’t going to do something stupid.
Peralta Industries –
A good ol’ Whupping!
Silvana is parking her car and sees Patricio walking with
Regina. He has his arm around her and
she’s trying to brush him off but stumbles in the process. He’s there to catch her. “That’s all I needed.” says Silvana to
herself. Meanwhile, Regina wants to be
very clear with Patricio, “I don’t like my working relationships to lead to
anything beyond friendship.” Patricio
insists they’re just friends. Apparently
Pato followed her to the restaurant he recommended and she calls him on
it. “It’s apparent you have other
intentions,” she says. He ‘fesses up
that he’s guilty as charged. That was
his strategy because he finds her very beautiful and very interesting.” She suggests he not use that strategy with
her. They enter the elevator as Silvana
looks on and says to herself, “Damn hypocrite.
I swear you’ll end your Don Juan ways.”
Later, as Patricio relaxes at his desk, Chava el Poderoso
charges in! “You messed with my sister!” He grabs a smiling Patricio by the collar and
drags him across the desk! POW! BAM! SMACK!
Somehow Patricio manages to get a few words in between blows, “Your stupid
sister wasn’t even a challenging conquest!
She gave herself to me!”
POW! SMACK! Patricio speaks again, “You have no idea how
much I enjoyed your little sister. It
was worth it, taking her virginity, just to see your idiot face at this moment!” Chava assure him he will break his face and
proceeds to kick him while he’s down!
Patricio still can’t stop talking, “You should have known I wouldn’t be
able to contain my anger! *pant, pant* Sofia preferred a poor slob like you! I had to get revenge with whatever would hurt
you the most!” Chava pulls Patricio up
off the floor. Patricio does get one in
and headbutts Chava. Chava is so
enraged, he calls Patricio poco hombre
and knocks him down --- but Patricio won’t stop talking! “Ask your sister how she begged me to make
her mine! She’ll tell you what a man I
am!” Patricio has managed to get back up
but Chava knocks him back onto a chair and proceeds to choke him out, “I’m
going to kill you!” Patricio struggles
to breathe.
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, the doctor tells Marisol
she’s being released. Sofia tells her
Chava had to go take care of something but she’ll stay by her side. She assures Marisol he isn’t angry with
her.
Back at the fight, Chava continues to smack Patricio
around. “You’re gonna die for what you
did to my sister!” He throws Patricio to
the floor then says he won’t ruin his life for a jerk like him. He turns his back on Patricio but turns back
in time to see Patricio’s picked up something and is ready to attack him. Chava’s too quick and hits Patricio, once
again sending him crashing to the floor.
Patricio smiles though his bloodied face, “I knew you couldn’t kill the
father of the little bastard your little sister is expecting!” Chava swears he would love any child of
Marisol’s, even if someone like him were the father. He informs Patricio that Marisol has
unfortunately lost the baby. “She will
recover from this unfortunate experience.
But you? Infeliz! You’ll get your
punishment, but I’ll leave that to God.”
He leaves, but not before delivering another kick on the way out. He passes Regina on the way out. She runs to Patricio’s office and finds him
groaning on the floor.
Back at the hospital, Sofia helps Marisol up. Marisol thanks her for being there. Sofia tells her they’re family now and she’ll
always be there for her.
Back at that Bar…..
The arsonists continue to blab drunkenly about the
fire. “Too bad there wasn’t anyone in
there at the time. They would have fled
like roaches from fumigation.”
jajaja Matias listens but grits
his teeth, holding back. The goons request
a bottle from another waiter an show him his wad of cash. They ask for the band to play at the
table. Ajua! Matias gets on the phone and calls Chava to
tell him about the drunks and thinks they may have something to with that fire.
Peralta Industries
Patricio puts ice on his face while Geronimo watches over
him. “I thought Regina was exaggerating
but I see Chava must really hate you to have left you like this.” Patricio manages to say Chava was defending
his sister’s honor. Geronimo chuckles
and wonders what hurts most, those wounds?
or this pride? Patricio feels it
was all worth the pain. Chava has paid
for everything through his sister. He
considers them even. He’s
satisfied. Geronimo thinks Patricio
settles for very little. In Gerry’s
case, he’s a long way from being satisfied.
Sofia hasn’t suffered enough.
Once alone, Patricio considers his situation. “So Marisol
lost the little bastard. Too bad, Regardless,
I’ve left my mark on that naquita for life.”
ugh, he’s so hateful.
Cruz Roja
Sofia finally gets hold of Chava. She was worried about his confrontation with
Patricio. Chava tells her it’s been
taken care of. His only concern now is
Marisol. Sofia informs him she’s been
released and is just waiting so she can take her home. Chava is relieved. He tells her he’s off to right another
wrong. He’ll tell her about it
later.
Once home, Marisol complains about the pain. Sofia hands her some painkillers. Marisol cries over what her mother would’ve
said. Sofia only knows Lupe would have
washed away the tears and told her that the darkest hour is just before
dawn. She’d tell her how much she loves
her.
Oh yeah, that bar….
The arsonists are getting their drunk on, singing with the
band. Chava arrives and Matias points
them out to him. Tavarez shows up and
looks at the sketches of the perps without makeup and wow! They look just like our drunks! Matias and Tavarez have to hold Chava back
from going after them. Tavarez takes
charge and walks over to the perps. He
asks them to come with him to the delegación and they refuse. They try to refuse but are stopped by two
uniformed cops. Chava can’t hold himself
back any longer and attacks the perps, calling them assassins. Matias and Tavarez stop him after he’s
punched them both out. Tavarez promises
he’ll make them talk.
Delegación
Thing 1 says he don’t know nothin’ about no Lupe or fire.
Tavarez assures him if he doesn’t talk Thing 2 will. He has all the time in world to wait for
their confessions.
Chava tells Armando about Marisol’s accident and Patricio’s
beatdown and how badly he wanted to kill him. Armando reminds him that would have made
things worse. Chava next tells him about
the arrests. He assures Armando that if
Tavarez and Matias hadn’t been there to
hold him back, why, he woulda……
Yeah, yeah, says Armando, those tipos will pay. Chava mourns the loss of his mother. Armando understands. Bro-hug.
Matias calls Irais to tell her about the perps and that he’s
there to give his statement.
Press Conference
The media is assembled and Alan waits nervously for Alexa’s arrival. She shows up and he tells her he’s glad she
showed up. He tells her to smile and
answer for the cameras. He addresses the
media and announces his next project with the amazing actress, Alexa!
Casa de Armando
Armando and Nandito arrive to an empty house. Nandito turns on the tele only to see Alexa
at the press conference announcing her plans to work with Alan, who will also
be her representative. Armando is dumbfounded.
Casa de Chava – You should
see the other guy!
Marisol is asleep.
Sofia notices the one scratch on Chava’s face. Chava says that all the punches he can’t end
the rage he feels over Patricio using Marisol just to get even. He tells her Patricio confessed his
motivation was to get back at him because Sofia chose Chava. He only prays God will make Patricio pay for
everything’s he’s done.
Casa de Armando
Armando can only listen as the Alexa announces she’s going
to French Guiana to film. Alas, Alan says her fans won’t be able to say
goodbye because they’re traveling on a private jet. Armando can’t believe what he’s hearing!
Peralta Industries
Dulliver’s busy texting away. He explains to dad he’s sending a
congratulatory message to Alexa on her new venture. It’s just been announced on the tele. He’s rethinking sending that message. Alexa and Dani are really tight and he wouldn’t
want his message to be misconstrued.
Geronimo readily agrees.
Sentimental messages aren’t beneficial for Dulliver’s image. Gerry ponders to himself, “So Alexa’s
traveling to Guiana.” You can see the
evil wheels turning.
