Amores con trampa #30, 8 May 2015... The Carmonas are moving back to the country... and that seems to be affecting the Velascos even more than the Carmonas

Edited to use Vivi's better translation 'back to the country' rather than the 'farm'.
Santee breaks it up between Rocio and Isa.
Gallo can't find peace, really taking it hard that its first night he is not sleeping with Maria. He needs a chance to fix what he broke or his heart will die of pain.
Maria in her room crying, looking at the photos. Beto comes by. But she is still very resentful of his keeping the truth from her.  He claims he could not throw his dad under the bus.  He did not want to hurt her or make her this sad.  Maria claims she had the right to know. He agrees. but he could'nt . He asks what will happen now. She has no idea.  He tries to sneak in some good word about Rocio but Maria won't have any.  She yells she does not want him near Rocio.
Back to Gallo. Yoya finally arrives. He tells her they were all worried about her. SHe is also resentful of him for what 'he did to her mom'.  He asks for a chance to talk.  But she feels very dissappointed of him for betraying her mom. He claims it was a mistake, a trap... She yells that today should be her happiest day. The guy she likes told her he likes her but they will never be able to be together because of what happened between Gallo and that woman.  Poor Gallo is worse than before.
At the Velascos, Rocio and Feli talk. He is playing video games. She notices he is not well. He tells her he told Carmen he likes her but she turned him down.  Rocio says you have to keep trying. They are also trying to split me and Beto... Just don't tell my aunt that you like Carmen.  They (aunt and uncle) are umbearable, they can't even stand each other.  Rocio is headed with Isa to see a psychiatrist.  But Rocio is not that hopefull they will be able to help them.
At Carmonas, Perpetua comes to check on Maria. She is still crying.
In living room, Gallo is sleeping in the couch, having nightmare that he is hearing Maria ask him to choose between Isa and her and he faints backwards. Suddenly the rooster yells and Gallo gets up all startled... but it is Maria coming, she wants to talk before everyone else wakes up.  She knows they can't push Santee out of the company or give him the money back. But they can still put their own house for sale and return to the country. IF you don't do it, we are through.
At Velascos, the rooster yells again. Santee wakes up but Isa is still knocked out.
Back to Carmonas (this is making me dizzy all the switching across the yard)  Beto is coming in the girls room, he wants to talk to Yoya, he tells her he wants to go back to school.  Yoya says it is the only good news she has heard lately.

Gallo is arguing against leaving and selling.  Reminds her why they came here, for the kids to have better education and opportunities. Maria claims they were much happier out in the country.  HE insists... She does the same... he offers to think about it.. she reminds him that it is not a choice. They will all leave or she will leave and move in with Aunt Humilda...  Gallo gives in. they will put the for sale sign up today.  She is the most important thing for him.  SHe asks if he doesn't mind loosing all that money. he repeats what is important for him is his family. The Carmonas don't split just like that! They will return to the farm tomorrow. He tries to kiss her but she says she won't trust him until they are all back in the country with all their stuff.  He promises he will not let her down. But she won't go back to normal until they do. Gallo tells himself that Maria is right. Maybe if they all go back to the country they will be happy again and she will forgive him.
At the university, Yoya is bringing Beto in.  He seems reluctant.  Yoya almost has to drag him to talk to the teacher.  The teacher says he has to take an aptitude and interests test to determine what career suits him better.  He seems fearful. Teacher says it is not a test, just a survey of what he likes to do...  Beto says he loves the country... and 'la nina Rocio' (LOL!!)
Estefi is at the office, but she did not come to see Santee, she came to see Gallo. Esteban hears this and questions why she came to see Gallo.
Gallo is at a store asking for a poster board of 'for sale' and some nails and a stick.  The girl at the store comments that he does not look that sold on whatever it is he wants to sell.  She asks him to think about it. He says its not about thinking about it but how sad he is about the sale, but if he doesn't sell he will be even more sad.
Esteban is a bit miffed with Estefi... their plan was to squeeze the money out of Santee. She says now she is targetting Gallo.  For the money AND because Gallo is very attractive.  Besides, since ISa likes Gallo she will kill two birds with one stone: get payback on ISabel and win over Gallo.
Santee and Isa are with Rocio at the psych.  Isa tells the doc that Rocio is misbehaving, drinks, is agressive all the time... she must have some behavior twist thing going on.  Rocio says the aggressive one is Isabel.
At the college Yoya tells Beto he will be a great 'licenciado' (which in Mex could mean anything professional like lawyer, engineer, some office job type with a suit ... somehow i don't see Beto like that).
Yoya warns Beto that the folks at the college could be rather rude and even with no good reason, just because they want to.  Beto says don't tell anyone he wants to go back to school at least until the results of the survey come out.  Brother and sister share a nice hug and smile.
Isa thinks that if they lock Rocio up she will have less chance to learn about Isa's deep secret.  Doctor asks Rocio to stay a while until they can figure out the reason behind her issues.  Rocio says she doesn't have any issues. Rocio yells that her aunt and uncle are swindlers. My uncle asked my aunt to get some naked pictures with the neighbor to get him in trouble. Then Rocio runs out... ISa and Santee blame each other in front of the doctor. Isa asks the doctor to make the sessiona aunt er (Isa) instead.
Gallo arrives home with the 'for sale' sign. HE tells the whole family. Of course there are mixed feelings about it. Some love the idea like grandpa and grandma but Yoya hates it. Beto doesn't like just leaving the business just like that. Gallo says that doesn't matter. this is the best decision for us.   Yoya claims about the school and friends. Beto starts talking about it also but Yoya shuts him up.  The little kids also argue against the idea.  Perpetua is super happy about it though.  She wants to leave Porfirio alone here. Porfirio says 'stay here alone with the Mango Petacon??' (LOL!)
Doctor is arguing with Isabel about having fooled around with the neighbor.  ISa whines that she thought the doctor was going to help her.  Doctor brings up that Isabel is having nightmares with a man. Is that man the neighbor?  'Yes, its him.  everything that is happening to me has to do with .... FACUNDO... FACUNDO!!' (she fakes crying)
Porfirio and Jacinto show the family the new family member, the young donkey 'Tito'. Maria asks why they did not tell her before. Yoya gets close to her and says 'maybe  because you were busy fighting the neighbor'.  Maria says we all will raise it together out there in the country.
Isabel tells the doctor that some of the nightmares remind her when her mother would not want to give her milk to drink!...  Seems Isa used to be under tranquilizers or some other med, but wants to take them again.  She wants to have her mind blank instead of dreaming of Facundo.  Doctor wonders why she has not even considered splitting with Santee. Isabel gets really upset to even think of divorce.  Doctor says you dont want to consider it because you like the neighbor, you dream of that man who is NOT your husband.    Isa has had enough talking.  Doctor says it is her duty to try to help Isabel come to the reality. and that reality is... Isabel is done... she refuses to believe she is in love with that rancher... (she imitates Gallo's talk).  Doctor says if the subject bothers her so much, she wins nothing by avoiding it.  ISabel runs out before she is forced to keep talking about it.
Gallo puts up the for sale sign right as Isabel is arriving in a taxi.  Isabel calls Gallo... he walks away but she keeps on calling out... he confirms that they are selling the house and going back to the country.  Isa asks if it was because of what happened with them.  Gallo sends a message to Isa's husband hat yes he stole their money but they have twice or three times more but they don't need it to make them happy, unlike them (the Velascos).  Isa tries to bring up that something happened between Gallo and her.  Gallo says he should not even be talking to her. HE walks away. Isa is upset, asking 'don't go!'  She even tells the cow 'I will miss you'.
Back in their bedroom, Isa feels like arguing with Santee who was just laying down on the bed watching TV.  Isabel tells him that Gallo put up a 'for sale' sign and they are returning to the farm. Santee loves the news... best news he has received in a long time.  'you of little faith...'  it worked all right!... ISa not so sure of it being what they wanted...   Santee gets the blues saying that she is as sad as he is happy is because her dog rider is leaving.   Isa tells him that the Doctor recommended she plit with Santee.  Santee gets violent, he yells that she wants to split with him because of that darn one!!  he does not want to split up..' what about our daughter, our niece and nephew!! i won't leave them!! Isabel, I love you!!'
At the college, Diego catches up with Yoya, but she won't have any. She announces to him that she and her family are leaving the city so she could care less what he did or doesn't feel for her.   Yoya leaves, Francis comes running wanting to know what is going on. ANd when Diego tells her that Yoya is leaving the city, Francis is super elated.  She even asks her friends to take a picture of her happy smile.
Back to the VElasco bedroom...  Santi makes the argument about if Isabel wants to split the family.  HE gets rather offensive.  She calls him an idiot. But he changes tactic.  He steps toward her as if he were to get violent.  But she pushes him away. He says he will fight for his family.  Noone leaves this house... least of all.... YOU!! She asks what he will do, he says you will find out...  Isabel leaves, Santee has some evil smirk on him... (who is the one in more need of Psych help there?? maybe the only one that is sane there is Alejandra??)
ISa in hallway thinking of what the Doctor said... about Isa having a lot of emotional baggage... asking Isa to admit she is in love with the neighbor.  Isa starts slapping herself. Conchita sees this and asks if she is alright.  Conchita notices ISabel is stressed out. She is worried about everything that is going on in the house lately.  Conchita thinks to herself 'what if i tell her about the text messages i saw in your husband's phone?'... Conchita ends up walking away without saying anything about the phone.
At the office, Gallo is packing up his office, Santee comes in.   Santee whines to Gallo that things are not fixed by violence like our wives did! ... for you to be with my wife there were two consenting parties... so you can't just blame ISabel... Gallo argues that he (santee) should not have shown the pictures to Maria.   Santee says he learned that Gallo has put his house on sale.  Going back to the country is the best thing they could do.  Gallo says that's all you wanted from the get go... to take our money and ship us to San Bartolo!  poor you , you don't know that town.  if you did, you would be in love with it and would not be walking around all stressed out.  Santee claims that the only one that thinks he is a swindler is you!!  Out in hallway Esteban is forcing Estefi to leave without seeing Gallo.
On her way out Estefi is wondering if it was useless to come to try to see Gallo.  She asks the receptionist if Gallo arrived. Yes.
Back to Gallo's office.  Now Gallo mentions the incident of the photos as 'an accident'.  Santee says he is now making Gallo pay for the 'accident'.
Previews: Gallo keeps apologizing to Maria.  Isabel keeps talking to a mysterious person on phone. But Beto, Feli and Rocio are investigating what is behind the 'accident' and see a video of the restaurant where Isabel is putting something in Gallo's wine glass.

Comments:
Marta, thanks for the wonderful recap. Yes, Alejandra may be the only sane one in the house. Too funny!

Entertaining:

Rocío being brutally honest with the psychiatrist about Isabel and Santiago in front of Isabel and Santiago.

Rocío's appointment becoming totally about Isabel.

The new term for the blackmail photo incident: the "accident."

Grandpappy Porfirio and his "mango petacón" comment. Conchita is never far from his mind.

Oh no, surveillance video footage may come to the rescue.

Will Facundo ever "get it"?
Facundo still talked too long to Isabel for my taste. He needs to just keep moving.

Jarifa

Thank you Marta!

Thank you, Marta. I haven't watched the episode yet, but the thought of the surveillance video is making me happy. Yay!

Jarifa, thanks for yesterday. So glad you included the detail on Jacinto and Porfirio’s talk because I have a tough time deciphering Porfirio’s wacky words of wisdom.

Marta, thanks for today. How you pack in all the detail so quickly is amazing. Yep, Alejandra is the only sane one in that house.

Funniest moments: Santi feigning congeniality in front of the psychiatrist after Rocio blurts out his and Isa’s blackmail scam on the neighbor, and the Carmona's cow walking away from Isa when she tried to get chummy with her.

Disturbing moment: Facundo’s dream of passing out under the stress of not being able to choose between Maria and Isa in their tug of war for him.

Biggest surprise: Beto wants to go to university. Will Rocio soon follow him there?

Yay, the previews look good. Go team Rocio-Beto-Feli.

Thank you Marta so much for clarifying all the nuances. Do the Carmonas really have a farm to go back to? If their land went to the oil company and now with a huge chunk of the proceeds in Santi's hands, I wonder if the sale of the house and what they have left will afford them another farm. Oh the details. Actually, I don't think they're going anywhere but that won't make for a happy home.

Gracias otra vez, Marta!

Anon- The Carmonas aren't going back to their hacienda, just back to the country. And specifically to Maria's aunt's house in the country, if Facundo doesn't come along.

I really liked the scenes of the older siblings bonding-- Feli and Rocio, and Beto and Carmen. So glad that Beto has decided to study. I really hope Rocio goes back to the psychologist on her own, without Isa hijacking the session for herself. The previews showing the four older kids getting that tape was very heartening, and looks like it'll be funny too.

I also liked the family scene with the burrito.

Vivi, thanks for the added info on the farm / country issue.

I'd go back to the country too if I were the Carmona's!

Finally got to watch and I had a lot of the same LOL moments as you, Marta (Beto at the University saying he liked Rocío and Porfirio's shock at staying behind with the mango petacón.)

I'm looking forward to the older kids trying to exonerate Facundo.

Gracias, Marta. Super detail.

Niecie, I like that description: " wacky words of wisdom."

Jarifa

I have to wonder how poor Jacinto would be faring if it weren't for Porfirio's "wacky words of wisdom." Abuelo seems to be the only one with enough time for him.

Heeeey... The oldest and the youngest are the ones being quasi ignored.

Previews show videos of drink tampering, should send EveryOne into a tailspin. Will Maria forgive Gallo even with that evidence? Poor guy. It would be hard to residt Nora Salibas. Unless of course he saw her in El Malequerina or whatever it was with Maria and and everyone.

La Malquerida.. Had to look it up. Ms. Salinas was despicable in that one. Beautiful nontheless. Pretty gal.

A bit late but awesome recap! Kids to the rescue!

Thank you, Marta, a terrific recap. I'm ready for more comedy this week. I have more angst than I need for now. Let's get the company on it's feet.
