Amores con trampa #26 and #27 5/4/15-5/5/15 Carne Asada!

I am devastated that the chainsaw-wielding, animated pig was not seen at the end of tonight's opening credits. Stoopid dinosaur.

Refrito
Rocio and Alejandra have a sweet sister moment.
Isa and Santi argue. Santi realizes that not only has Facundo taken over his business, he's taken Isa too. He sobs alone.

Lo Nuevo
Abuela Perpetúa and Maria prepare food for the carne asada. Abuela doesn't think they should be worrying about making all this food when they have all these problems with the neighbors. Maria isn't wild about the idea, either...but Facundo is part owner of the business now and they need to support him. Abuela also that Isa is coming. That one is up to something. Maria agrees. Isa gives her a bad feeling, too. They reminisce about the jumirichi...or whatever that stuff was. Abuela thinks Isa is after Facundo. She doesn't trust Santi either. Ay these crazy folks from the DF! Better keep an eye out for trouble!

Jacinto and Susana are getting ready for the carne asada as well. Susana is picking out Margarito's outfit. Jacinto is a little worried about Susana carrying around a pig. His sister explains that a "mini-pig" is now all the rage. (Don't believe it, folks. There is no such thing as a mini-pig and farm animal rescue shelters are filled with "mini-pigs" people abandon.) Jacinto and Susana dance a little. Jacinto has a crush on Alejandra. He's consulted lots of sources, and he still can't seem to find a good scientific definition of what love is (I assume the guys from Foreigner won't be much help, either.) Susana tries to warn him not to get his hopes up, though. He says if he can just look at her that's enough.

Let the carne asada begin. Get drunk and be happy! The workers are happy and toast him. Salud! Abuelo has a toast too. In Latin no less! "Salud Impluribus. Guaracho Meu." He translates: "Salud. Salud for everyone and in un guaracho (which I can't seem to find the definitin of) I pissed myself (at least that's what I assume he said based on the bleep and the Latin "meu"...which reminded me of mearse.) Isa shows up at this point. She asks about Porfirio's eggs, but considering they cut out the "huevos" I'm pretty sure she wasn't talking about the breakfast food. Porfirio assures her that his eggs are nice and warm. Isa brought a bottle of Chilean wine. She makes excuses for Santi. Esteban drags her away and wants to know where Santi is. She explains he's drunk and she doesn't want to talk about it.

Facundo has another toast. He's not much different from the workers. He grew up in the country, but thanks to his dad he knows how to work hard. Start watching the horse in the background. He steals the scene with his tree eating. Facundo knows it's not been a good year at Grupo Velasco. But that is going to change. They are all going to work together to bring the company back up. Esteban thinks to himself how deep in debt the company is in-more than bankrupt he thinks. Wait until Facundo tries to get this group of lazy bums to work. Facundo is going to sink! Santi stumbles in. He is stinking drunk.

Santi wants everyone to go to HIS house. He is the owner of the business. Facundo tells him firmly to calm down. Santi calls Facundo a rachero de pactotilla. He tells Facundo to take his family and all his animals back to the country! No one takes his business from him, especially not a drooling idiot like Facundo!

While looking for Santi in his office, Conchita finds a text message from Estefy on his cell phone. "I miss you, Santiago. Please forgive me." Conchita gets upset. That must mean the señor is "como ida y vuelta" ...whatever that means.

Facundo has no answer to Santi's insult, but he's glad to finally know what the Velasco's really think of him. Isa tries to make excuses and Esteban begs Santi to get it together. The company is bankrupt. Stop causing a scene! Santi doesn't listen and tells the crowd that he is the boss. Porfirio wants Facundo to give him a good punch to the liver a la Kid Azteca. Abuela tries to intervene, but Porfirio tells her to get back to the kitchen (My inner feminist is raging.) Santi barely gets out grandulón (overgrown) before Facundo punches him. Does squeezing a chile give it more "punch"? What was that all about? Esteban doesn't think it was fair of Facundo to punch Santi. The man was drunk and didn't know what he was saying. Isa swears she's never drinking again and pours out her wine. She and Esteban try to drag Santi home, but he stumbles away from Esteban. Santi says he was the golden gloves champion of Texas. He demands that they let him go. Susana informs him that no one is touching him. (My favorite scene...I can neither confirm nor deny I rewound and watched a couple of times.) Maria and Abuela tell Isa to take him away. Beto yells at them as they leave. No one insults the Carmonas. Abuelo has gotten worked up and needs to be taken inside. Facundo is mortified at what has happened and that Santi publicly insulted him.

Esteban tells Santi to stop drinking. Isa yells about the scene he made. She tells Esteban to leave. She turns to Santiago and tells him he has the 7 plagues of Egypt (It's 10...I guess I'm missing a joke.

Abuela tries to get Porfirio to eat an egg. He just wants his pluque. She's worried about how mad he got. Porfirio can't believe he was insulted in his own house. The whole family talks about Santi the party crasher. Susana was ready to beat him up, too. Maria rues the day Facundo ever signed that paper. She misses the country.

Isa berates Santi for the scene he caused. She grabs his drink...and takes a swig. She fell off that wagon quick! Santi ruined everything! Isa thinks he's the worst thing that's ever happened to her and she wonders why she didn't listen to her mother. Her mother told her not to marry Santi! Feli, Rocio and Ale come running. Feli begs them to stop fighting. Isa plays the role of caring mother. Santi may not care about the family, but she does!

The Carmonas are now turning on each other. At least some of them are. Facundo doesn't see how all of this is his fault. Beto disagrees. This IS Facundo's fault. Carmen tells Beto not to talk to her father that way. Beto repeats (loudly) that Facundo caused it all. Maria sends Beto to his room. Maria can't believe he's being insolent again. Facundo tries to make excuses for him. He's mad. Just like all of us.

Ale and Rocio talk about Isa and Santi. They've never gotten along, but lately things have been terrible. Ale likes Susana, but she wishes that she and her family had never moved in. Conchita brings her an apple juice. Rocio advises Ale to not get involved in Isa and Santi's marriage. Ale wonders what will happen if her parents separate. Rocio would be happy about that. She doesn't want to have to decide who to live with. Conchita would live with Santi. Rocio would too. Ale doesn't want to be with either of them. Rocio swears that she and Feli will always be there for Ale. Conchita will too.

Feli tells Santi to quit fighting with Isa. They are grown ups. The fights have to stop. Santi is worried that Isa doesn't love him. He just can't reason with her. Feli asks him please to stop fighting with Isabel. Santi will try, but if she keeps being unreasonable...he almost slips about Estefy, but fixes his mistake. When Feli leaves, Santi wonders to himself how Estefy can be so different. He's going to see her today.

Estefy in sexy lingerie. She will get pregnant!

Isa goes to Facundo to apologize. Facundo thinks Santi should be the one apologizing. Facundo assumes Santi insulted him because of their "sleeping" together (So Facundo thinks.) Isa doesn't think Santi gives a fig about what happens. Facundo doesn't think that's his problem. Isa confesses to feeling very trusting with him. Facundo is not a priest. He tells her to go look for her husband.

Carmen wants to know what's going on with Facudno and Beto. She thinks they are hiding something. Beto denies it. She's going to find out whether they like it or not!

Abuelo gives Jacinto a long lecture about how things were when he was a kid. PSA about studying and Mexico becoming a better country. Don't lose hope (Have I told you about my Recappers Privilege Card? RPC for short. Sometimes I use it on non-plot developing scenes I am too lazy to recap. I invoke it forthwith.)

Beto is not happy to see Isa with his dad. He asks her to leave. Facundo tells Beto to respect ladies. Beto doesn't think Isa is a lady and that Facundo should be worrying about Carmen. She thinks they are up to something and is determined to find out what. She can't find out. She would tell Maria and then all hell would break loose.

Dinner at the Carmonas. They discuss the carne asado. Maria wants to know what Fac and Beto are doing at the offices. Fac has trouble answering. Maria wants to know if they are in charge of anything. Beto explains they are getting their office ready. Maria brings up taking classes, an idea Beto is not too keen on. Maria thinks they should both learn English. Beto already knows some- Guau (Wow), Juat(What), Yes, Nait(Night.) Jacinto suggests Chinese. Jokes I don't get. Carmen suggests they not give Beto and Fac any ideas. They might start lying in other languages.

Santi goes to see Estefy. He doesn't feel very good. He drank a lot. She pushes her boobs into his face agenda.

Maria asks Carmen what she means. Carmen brushes it off and excuses herself from the table. Maria gives him the stink eye.

Fac sits next to the fireplace, plays the harmonica and drinks. Maria is worried. He never drinks at night. He misses the country too. There's so much noise in the city. But he's put up with is so his kids could have a good education. Maria wonders if it's not the noise that's keeping him awake, but his conscience. Maria thinks he's so different since they came to the capital. He says he's the same. Maria wants to know why Carmen said he and Beto were lying. Maria didn't push it at dinner. She didn't want to make things worse, but she can't help but think Fac is lying to her. He tells Maria not to pay attention to Carmen. She's been acting crazy since they arrived. Maria doesn't believe Fac. The old Fac would never lie, but now...Maria is not sure she would put her hands to the fire for this new Facundo.

Cable in my hood went out at 7:26 and came back on just now at 9:10. Missed most of Sombra and all of Trampa. :(

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would be so sad, Vivi!

I've got the recap up to the first commercial. Still working.

All done!

Favorites:
The scene-stealing horse.

Santi screaming "suéltame!"

Santi saying Fac should have been a champion boxer.

The party guest loving on Margarito.

Conchita telling Ale she would be there for her too.

Thanks, Sara. Sounds like it was a great episode. Can't believe I missed it. I'll have to find it somewhere. I want to see Fac smacking Santi around.

I really hope the employees step up for Fac and prove Esteban wrong.

Poor Ale is really suffering. Time for all the adults in that house to put her first. She's as ignored a poor Jacinto, but worse. Too bad he's too young for her.

He only punched Santi once...but that's all it took!

Sara, thanks for a great recap of a very interesting episode. I love your idea of the RCP card. Too funny.

So . . .

Facundo has hurt Santiago's pride in front of his workers and from the avances we know where this is going with his revenge.

Carmen has primed the situation with her accusation of Facundo and Beto being in cahoots about something so much so María's antennae are even more up.

Facundo is still not being smart about Isabel. I could not believe he was just standing there alone talking to her and did so long enough for Beto to find them. He is acting like a real blockhead. Could he be interested in Isabel at some level?

Conchita is now aware Estefany is in Santiago's life.

My faves:

Susana ready to punch Santiago out again.

Susana dancing with Margarito.

Jarifa

Thank you so much Sara, soooooo helpful. Absolutely loved the horse eating the tree. When Conchita saw the message on Santi's phone was it for sure from Stephy? I thought maybe it was someone other than her .. a character not seen yet ?? I'm probably wrong as I miss so much. Does ida and vuelta mean roundtrip? Still don't know what that has to do with anything.

I admit, I just sort of assumed it was from Estefy. The phone didn't say "Estefy" it said "Lic. Someone". Ida and vuelta means round trip....but I just couldn't wrap my head around what it could mean in that context.

I'm going to go back and watch the scene to see what the name was...

Thanks to the magic of my Hulu app I now have a name: "Lic Godines". Is that Estefy?????

Do we have another mystery for our list?

Well according to this it was Estefy:

http://television.televisa.com/us/telenovelas/amores-trampa/capitulos/2015-05-04/capitulo-26-felipe-ya-no-quiere-mas-peleas/

I was sort of hoping it was a new character. Thanks for keeping me on my toes, Anon10:40!

Thanks, Sara. You nailed the zaniness of this episode.

I really hope the employees step up for Fac and prove Esteban wrong.

Vivi, I'm counting on it. Facundo at least knows how to boost morale.

My favorite moments were Conchita saying she'd go with Santi if there is a divorce and Susana balling up her fist to take on Santi. Beto trying out his English words was cute too, especially "yes."

I guess Facundo squeezed the hot pepper in his hand to control his temper. He did a good job keeping himself in check considering he hit Santi just once.

So Santi was a Golden Gloves champ in Texas? That's another mystery. Did he live in the U.S. for awhile?

This mess has ruined Facundo's flirty nature. My take is he just feels guilt that he took advantage of Isa in a drunk. Hah! I enjoyed Beto rudely telling Isa to hit the road.

The animals were all so adorable. They do seem at home there. So the opening credits now have a cartoon dinosaur at the end. I thought there were other tweaks to the credits but I wasn't fast enough to catch them.

I think this show could be complete crap, but if they give me a scene with Susana or an animal I am happy as a clam. This show is NOT crap, though.

I will watch the opening credits more closely to see if there are other changes. I also like the pig waiting on the traffic light at the end.

Jarifa-you have made me a fan of animation in comedies.

And yes, Fac is not being smart about Isa.

I will also add Santi's possible stint in the US to our list of info and mysteries. Thank you Niecie!

The "ida y vuelta" scene. Conchita reads the message: "I miss you, Santiago, Forgive me." She then notices it is from LicenciadO Godínez. We know it is a woman but she doesn't; so when she says Santiago is like " ida y vuelta" I think she is thinking he plays for both teams, so to speak.

Jarifa

Jarifa, given Santi's already bruised macho ego (all of it his own doing), that's a hoot.

That is hilarious, Jarifa!!! Thank you for the info!

Has anyone heard from Diana?

Thanks Jarifa and Sara for the great recaps.

Commenting on Friday’s recap, too.

Re: a comment someone made about the age of the actor playing Carmen, when I first saw her, I thought she seemed a little old for the part she’s playing.

Love the Rocio/Ale scenes.

Isa’s not allowing Santi to touch her almost seems like she’s a rape victim. Except for her lusting after Fac. Maybe she feels guilty about having an affair. She definitely can’t stand having Santi touch her. It seems more like repulsion than guilt.

Isa might blame Rocio for her sister’s death, which would explain her very hostile attitude towards her.

I have definitely been watching too many Criminal Minds episodes. My first thought when Jacinto wet the bed was that it’s one of the signs of a serial killer in the making.

I like the dinosaur. However, my fav animation is the pig running across the cross walk.

Like the Feli/Maria scene from the night before. He didn’t know what to do.

Sara: this had me laughing out loud: (I assume the guys from Foreigner won't be much help, either.)

Was confused. I thought carne asada was a Mexican food dish.

I have a BIG GRIPE with this TN. Not enough Margarito scenes. And when he does show up, not enough close-ups. As far as I’m concerned if he’s in a scene the camera needs to be on him the whole time. It’s not like I pay attention to anything else when he’s on screen, anyway. He’s the star of the show. What are they thinking?!

Nanette

Isa does seem like she's repulsed by Santi. She doesn't seem to have any intimate interest in Santi at all.

Crosswalk pig is cute too!

And you're right. NOT ENOUGH MARGARITO!! He is the only thing I watch when he's on screen. Who cares what the actors are saying?

I forgot to say to Jarifa a few days ago that I love Margarito's instagram plug, too. I FF through commercials, but I stop to watch that one.

Thank you to all of the recappers for last week and today! I've been on vaca and just catching up.

I really can't figure Isa out. One minute she hates the Carmonas, the next she is going over to apologize when she doesn't have to... she seems guilty one second and not the next. I don't know what her end game is now that Fac has given over the money. And we still don't know who she was talking on the phone to when Maria overheard her.

More questions than answers at this point.

Thank you, Sara. Your recap was fun.

Santi certainly knows how to bring down a party. I was looking forward to some real fun and good carne asada and cute animals. How can he face his employees or neighbors again. Can't imagine what tonight's episode will be about. Don't think Santi will repent.

GinCA

Santi is a partypooper for sure!

Tuesday May 5 Capítulo 27

I really can't wait until my summer vacation starts so I have more time for the Tuesday recaps. I am NOT going to do justice to it today. I don't even think I can remember anything. Please forgive me and fill in where necessary.

The Shtick
Not really plot developing, but the following happened for comedic effect.

The rooster continues to taunt Isa with his early morning crowing. The poor dear was awakened at 5:30 and was still trying to sleep when Conchita rudely woke her up again...at the ungodly hour of 8:30 (I haven't slept past 6 in decades.) Conchita is covered in eggs. Conchita threatens to quit. Isa insults her. There are plenty of younger, skinnier, cheaper mucamas who work harder and talk less. Go ahead and quit. But Conchita decides to stay.

Abuelo Porfirio threw eggs at Santi and his car. No one insults the Carmonas! Conchita gets caught in the cross fire.

Jacinto makes eyes of googly at Alejandra. Andres and Susana figure out he is in love. Jacinto denies it. I wasn't very cool with Susana and Andres blabbing the news to Alejandra.

Santi arrives at work only to discover that Facundo is already there and has taken his parking space. Santi tells Esteban to take the car and get it washed. No wonder Esteban wants to cheat Santiago.

The Plot Development
Santi yells at Facundo for taking his parking spot. Facundo asks whose money is saving the business from bankruptcy. Santi loudly proclaims that it's Facundo's money. Everyone overhears it.

Carmen breaks up with Diego. Diego goes to explain it to Francis. Feli overhears them talking about "the plan." Feli puts two and two together and figures out what Francis did. He breaks up with Francis. Later, Isa tells him he did the right thing.

Francis stomps over to Carmen's house. She slaps Carmen. They exchange insults. Maria asks Francis to leave. Francis tells Maria to get her boy-friend stealing daughter under control.

Carmen and Maria fight. Maria thinks Carmen is a chiva loca. Carmen (rightly) tells Maria not to be so unfair to her.

Esteban tells Estefy to return the 2 million pesos to Santi. Santi needs to believe she is rich. Their end game is to take Santi's money and his business.

Estefy tries to return the money. Santi will not take it. They each thought bubble. Santi-I'll eventually take her money, too! Estefy-It's a good thing he doesn't know I'm dirt poor!

Santi confronts Facundo. He tells him to check himself before he wrecks himself. Fac needs to watch out for his wife. She probably won't like the gift Santi sent her.

More shtick
Abuelo and Jacinto discover a LARGE package someone has delivered. It's a little burro. I didn't catch who sent it.

Back to the Plot
Fac is incensed. He punches Santi (again.) Estefy is turned on by all the alpha male hormones. She sees Fac in a whole new light!

She later makes the suggestion to Esteban that they skip Santi entirely. Yeah, they were supposed to wait for Santi to get Fac's money, but why not have Estefy go right to Facundo? Esteban nixes the idea. They are here to get Santi's business, not find her a rich husband.

Abuela has received an envelope for Maria. It's a compromising picture of Fac and Isa!! Maria sees it!

Thanks, Sara!

Gotta run, but a quick comment. The horse poo is about to hit the fan! I don't know how Maria and Fac get past this. I have no idea how he'll convince her to stay in the city at this point. Dios mio!

One couple I'm glad is done is Feli and Francis. Good riddance! Diego looked so hurt (well, his ego) when Carmen said she felt nothing for him. Ha! He thinks he's so irresistible.

Yes. María seeing that picture is huge. I'm still sort of in shock, though I don't know why I even thought it would somehow go away. In denial I guess.

Jarifa- looks like you are going to get a hell storm of an episode tonight.

Sara, your recap is fine just the way it is. Thank you. Always a sweet time of the year anticipating summer vacation.

My a.m. ramblings:

I get a kick out of how María refers to Rocío as a "cabra loca" and now her own daughter as a "chiva loca." You gotta love those goats!

Typical teenagers: Carmen insulting Francis about her dyed hair and Francis insulting Carmen about having to remove hair from her face.

Now that Felipe has broken up with Francis, will she be raining even more revenge down on Carmen?

I think the burrito came from their friends in their old town. They really played with us since we knew by that time that Santiago was sending them something and then this huge box with a ribbon shows up.

Genius(?): returning the 2million to Santiago as a trust builder. Estefany is turning out to be a loose cannon since she is ready to push on ahead by herself directly to Facundo as a short cut to the money. What will Esteban do to keep himself in the game? She doesn't seem to care if he is in it or not.

Wow! Santiago was clearly pushed over the edge with the parking space issue and other Carmona mischief. One would think that Facundo would have the existence of those photos in his mind as a sort if brake when Santiago looked like he was totally losing it. Guess Facundo just doesn't think that far and actually still believed that swindler Santiago that since he signed the partnership agreement the photos were off limits.

A lot if drama tonight! Thanks in advance for the header, Sara!

Jarifa

Love your AM ramblings, Jarifa!

The gift scene was a psych out. I couldn't figure it out since the box was so big and pictures are so small. I thought it was a life-size, framed picture! Thanks for clearing up where the burrito came from.

I'll schedule the header for its usual time.

One more thing : I also agree that it was not cool for Carmen and company to call out Jacinto on his crush on Ale. Of course I loved the little animated hearts coming from his eyes. Poor kid.

Jarifa

And I honestly don't think they were trying to be mean, but just because he's younger and they think it's "cute" doesn't mean they should go around telling everyone.

The hearts were cute.

Thanks for the wonderful recap!

Agree with Vivi that I can't see how Fac and Maria come back from this. I can see her packing up the younger kids and moving immediately, without letting Fac explain. Though what explanation can he give. The only way out is for Isa or Santi to tell the truth but why would they?

Thanks, Sara. My favorite line: Jacinto makes eyes of googly at Alejandra. ITA it wasn’t cool at all for Susanna to embarrass Jacinto like that.

I do like that Isa congratulated Feli on having the good sense to break up with screechy Francis. Isa knows a too high-maintenance chick when she sees one, except in her own mirror.

Ay, I didn’t think Maria would find out so soon! Hmmm, will Maria pack up her kids and head back to the country, or will she stay so the kids (especially Jacinto) can remain in better schools?

Poor Esteban. Estefany doesn’t give a damn about his planes.

The gift scene psyched me out too. If I heard it right, the friends from the old town who sent the burrito had been gifted by the Carmonas with the burrito's mother or father cause the family couldn't bring all their animals to the city.

Thanks for the added info on the burro, Niecie in MD!

Maria finding out about Fac and Isa could really split the family. I can see Beto being loyal to Maria...but not wanting to leave because of Rocio.

I can also see Carmen wanting to stay as well as Porfirio.

Then I can see Abuela going back with Maria and Maria taking Jacinto and Susana.

Things just got real heavy.

Ugh. This bums me out. I wonder how they will handle this and if the comedy can still be maintained.

Thanks for the great recap, Sara.

Isa: earplugs, ever heard of them?

What was the "explosion" when Abuelo and Jacinto opened the box?

Looks like from the previews that Maria is not going to sulk about it. She really goes after Isa. Hopefully, Isa admits what she and Santi have done. There's still the fact that Fac went with Isa for a drink (I'm assuming--I haven't watched that ep yet). That would be a rift, but not as bad as Maria thinking that Fac and Isa did the deed.

OT: my baby kitty, Bass, who just turned two last week. Yay!! is fascinated by Elmo. Might just have to start recording Sesame Street for him.

Nanette

I may be wrong, but I don't think pet stories are off-topic. I think Margarito would approve.

Thanks for telling me about the avances, Nanette. I don't get to see them on Hulu

OT for realz-I love "Now, Voyager". Great movie.

Oh yeah, Maria looked like she's going to give Isa a good smack down in the previews. Nanette- It would be great if Isa got so scared of Maria that she told the truth. It's bad enough that Fac went out drinking with Isa alone, but nowhere near as marriage destroying as thinking he slept with Isa.

Nanette- Love that your kitty loves Elmo. It makes sense. Just saw a bit "The Secret Life of Cats" on the NatGeo channel, and they said cats prefer higher pitched human voices.

I missed last night so muchisimas gracias Sara for keeping me up to date! Wow, tonight will be huge for sure, and even tho this tn is indeed getting heavy, so far we haven't seen murder, torture, kidnapping or gore. I'm extremely happy about that. Hope I didn't just jinx this and someone ends up knocked off tonight.

Thanks Anon1:35! Maybe Vivi can tell us since she's seen a Larrosa novela before...does he tend to have a lot of murder, torture and mayhem?

I feel we lost some of the comedy when Fac was sitting on the ground crying and drinking. Broke my heart that this wonderful family is being torture because the family next door can't handle their finances.

Dinero had not one single murder or death, not even by natural causes.

Carvivilie-That was a very sad scene. Everyone keeps blaming the Carmona's for causing problems and the Carmonas keep blaming the move, but really it does just boil down to the Velascos being fiscally irresponsible and trying to use others to fix the mess.

Vivi-It is a relief to hear that about Dinero.

Sara: I have many fav movies, but when pressed to name one, I always say " Now, Voyager. I have the biggest crush on Dr. Jaquith.

Vivi: if the high voice thing is true, I'll have to find some Betty Boop cartoons.

I may have this wrong, but it looked to me like Feli was really sad when he was talking with Isa about breaking up with Frances. I like that the writers would go there. Just beause he has feelings for Carmen doesn't mean that his love/caring for Frances would automatically disappear and he wouldn't be upset that he felt the need to break it off.

Nanette- Yes. Feli was upset, and spoke about the good two years he and Francis had. Obviously, when she didn't feel threatened she was a good girlfriend. But Carmen definitely set off her defense mechanism and highlighted her worst traits, which may have been easier to overlook before.

Sara, thanks for the recap and sorry that the thanks are bit late. Definitely did not like the
previews with Maria seeing the foto of Fac and Isa looking pretty much naked and guilty caught in bed.

I love Now Voyager so much I purchased a dvd of it a couple of years ago. Didn't realize that it had been edited for tv so there are some new scenes on the dvd. My fav scene as seen on tv and the dvd is when Paul Henreid lights two cigarettes together between his lips. One for Bette Davis. It's very sensual and he is a married man.
