Hasta del Fin del Mundo #185 Kiss My Wife (Check), Grab My Wallet (Check), Give Patrick A Beatdown (Check)
Thank you Vivi for last week's recap. If anyone saw the show last night and would like to recap in the comments, please do. Otherwise, you will not see the recap for Thursday and Friday until sometime this weekend. My computer is done.

Alan tells Alexa she can either do another movie with him and go abroad to do it or have thousands of porn movies distributed with her as the star. She owes him. Evidently she is not the actress in the movies but he was able to put her face on the main female "participant" (my word not theirs). (ah, the wonders of technology!.) (Did I hear triple x??) He is expecting her to show up at a press conference for their next movie deal together later that p.m.
Sofia is worried about paying the workers their liquidation. With all the bills, probably won't happen. For fear of jail time as threatened by Peralta, Sofia decides with the support of Paco and Chava (always by her side) to just hand over the property the factory was on to Peralta. They both agree it is good to get a fresh start. They decide to start the company again in Paco's building breaking through a wall so that Aracely's bedroom can give them more space.(nowhere for her to come back to now. Yay!) As they are talking, they are surprised to learn by a mail delivery that Paco's chocolate samples have won a prize in an international chocolate competition. So, with the prize money they will be able to start production to fill the orders resulting from them winning the competition.
Silvana catches Marisol on the street and takes the opportunity to stop and try to talk her into giving her the baby one more time saying that Patricio won't let her have it. He will find a way for her to abort whether it be a fall or an accident. Marisol is so upset she runs into the street to get away from Silvana. An SUV hits her. She is in the hospital. She loses the baby. Sofia takes her home to care for her.
While in the hospital Chava overhears who the father was of Marisol's baby. He goes to Peralta's offices and beats up a smirking Patricio until he is not smirking anymore--that takes a while. When Peralta finds out what happened, Patricio tells Peralta that he is satisfied with things as they are because Chava will always know what he did to his sister. Peralta is surprised he would be content with just that because he Peralta still does not think Sofia has suffered enough.
Matias is working in a bar where he overhears two drunken customers talking about a fire and laughing about it. The two drunks used to work for Chocolates Ripoll. He calls Chava who shows up with Tavares and lo and behold the tow drunks match the sketches of Lupe's murderers. Tavares has them arrested on the spot but of course he lets Chava get a few good punches in before they are taken out of the bar.
Patricio tries to put the moves on Regina at lunch. She is not interested.
The episode ends with the press conference with Alan standing at the podium when Alexa walks in. That's it.

Well Tavares is having some luck or shall we say a little help from the barrio peeps. When you hire a couple of nobody's and give them a wad of cash to do a job, what do you expect? First thing, they get drunk and start running their mouths. I'm wondering if they know Peralta's name or if they can recognize him.
Don't know for sure but it looks like Marisol lost her baby---and is it now curtains for Pato? Silvana is mad as hell and she isn't going to take it anymore.
Pato's playing around, I mean.
One question---Is there any security or a receptionist in the Peralta building? People seem to be coming in at will.

You know she's going to be out for Patrick! Patrick: better enjoy your last days of life!
I may sound horrible, but I was relieved that Marisol lost Pato's baby. Live and learn, girl, and move on.
Glad the guys who killed Lupe and torched the factory are jailed, but was annoyed that they had to keep holding Chava back and that he got a few licks in. What did he not understand about waiting for police backup and letting them do their jobs?
I hope he felt better after he beat Pato up. All I kept thinking was that Peralta will kill Pato and make it look like Chava did it.
At the end of the episode, Armie and Nando also learn about Alexa leaving them to film a movie by seeing her at the press conference on tv.
You walk out to your car and the air has escaped from one tire. IE: you have a flat. What do you do, as you do not have any air to put back into the one tire.? YUP good answer for you. You let the air out of the other three. Yaaaa there you go Einstein. Now everything is all better.
Enjoy your flight.

I too hoped that Alexa would call out Alan during the press conference. I'm confused as to why Alexa seems to be a huge star yet her movie hasn't even been released?
The previews were shocking! I can't believe Pato would actually tell Silvana what he did! What an idiot! I can't wait to see what she has planned, she had gloves on so it's going to be good!
Also from the previews, how is it possible that Peralta hears about the press conference and has enough time to set up a bomb on the right private jet that Alexa and Alan will be on?! I'm no fan of Alexa but I don't think she deserves the same fate that Lupe had, I'm still pissed about that.
I continue to marvel at the degree of dislike and disrespect expressed by some here for this basically sweet girl whose worst crime seems to be a social immaturity, lack of sophistication, and an overly trusting nature.
Of course opinions vary.

Seriously though, of all the things Alexa's done, this is THE SINGLE-HANDEDLY MOST BONE-HEADED NONSENSE EVER (even more so than having been convinced by Alan to work with him from the start.) Does she not realize Armando would fight anything or anyone for her (and come out on top unscathed?)
Let's take a second to look at the hero she is keeping out of the loop (and unfortunately tossing aside in the process.) Armando Romero, he who in the first (or second) episode quit his newest job after his ticket to moolahville was disintegrated and in a believable epiphany of self-respect punched out his boss on the first (and last) day. Then he was even going to take out a boatload of other guys without a second thought and got lucky they backed up. Hell, Irma of all people chided him for that.
Marisol losing her baby is a bittersweet tragedy. At least she wasn't drugged thus (I quote Silvie's bearer of bad news doctor) tearing her uterus 'til irreplaceable (I unquote Silvie's bearer of bad news doctor.) It's not like she can lose fertility from getting hit by a car (can she?)
Elaborating on Patricio's potential children now. OK, so both of them died. First off, I feel that Nicandro Diaz-Gonzalez was just being plain sadistic since his show wasn't #1 in the universe (unlike Amores Verdaderos and Destilando Amor) so he low-key took his anger out on the show's characters. That's the only other reason why Marisol would have lost the kid or hell, even been boinked by Patricio to begin with. This whole Patricio and Marisol false fling was so out of left field in general. In the end, I'm biased as to why Marisol lost her baby.
Addendum: I'm a little disappointed that it isn't wasn't YOVET who was
-strung along
-boinked on the side until contaminated by a three-seeds = unequal number thus a (Judas-level) bad lemon (Spongebob reference; former Mariquita(s) fans snicker on the bleachers)
-caught in the hell hath no fury like a woman scorned wrath hurricane's eye
-obligated to get used to carrying the possible anti-Christ
-AND LASTLY, getting hit by a car and losing the baby RIGHT after being nagged at a second time by Hurricane Silvana to hand over the kid once it's born (so much for that right?)
You can tell this show brings out the best in me.
Chabelota and Freaky Basura (I swear, you'd find a finger or something in his wastebasket) conceived a baby (unbeknownst to him for what felt like forever) which Chabbie Loveliest used to trap Fernando. Now, given Juan Osorio's track record (Raquela and Pina's pregnancies in Velo de Novia and Una Familia con Suerte,) you'd have expected that expectancy lost (specifically because it was made by villains and going to be used by one for selfish reasons) but in an odd case of sweet irony, the kid was born and made it to the end (and was raised by Ana and Fernando to boot.)
MCET had a lot of moments where I could have sworn Big O was going to gear the story in a more drastic direction (like the set-up of when Chabbie was going to run over Ana only to have her car engine overheat and then throw a superfluously ridiculous tantrum in the middle of the street.)
At least Freaky had his ghost father telling him to take his son back in the middle of his revenge plot and raise him to be a proper gentleman (after the evil deed(s) he dictated to him were complete.) Then again, I'm sure Proper Gentleman was a term used loosely.
Now to justify this comment's semi-relevance; Morgana's actress Emireth is married to Juan Osorio.
I have a question for everyone: An insurance won't cover arson? What if it can be proved it was arson by someone other than the owner?
