Lo Imperdonable #4 Thu 5/21/15 Love at first sight and other thundering feelings
Labels: imperdonable
Salma's snide complaints about Vero are so stupid and ridiculous, I don't understand why her husband doesn't do more to put a stop to it.
Emiliano earns some points for calling Virginia on her behavior, but the thunder claps tell us he's just one snide lie away from believing Vero is a ho, and turning crazy jealous. We know our galan is already going to be acting like a nutcase. Does the secondary galan also need to be a jerk?
Loved the moment between Vero and Martin. Wish we had more of that before he realized that she's a possible target for his revenge.
I was a bit angered when Abuelo did nothing against Mauel, the other French guy was right in Manuel needing more stricter action, perhaps the belt too.
"Emilnino" LOL, Emil is still badass but im fearing that he will reach his creepy manic possesive state very soon cause when you see a pithed off Sergio Sendel you better run to the darkest corner possible!
Im sort of hoping Emil is not the most crazy one in this novela and is only a red harring for Osvaldo De Leon's appearance. That way Emil & Martin could make one badass best friend duo against the real monster!
We've seen Ana Brenda play several bright and determined young women, so she's true to form here. What disease does Virginia have? Her primary complaint seems to be self-pity, expressed with lots of whining. I already tried to slap her through the screen, but couldn't reach her smirking face.
You know, if Gramps wants to keep Ana Perla pure, maybe he shouldn't have such a hot stud working on his property. I'm just saying that if I had to see shirtless Ricardo Franco each day, I'd need some cold showers and many visits to the local priest.
Yes, Virginia certainly does know how to "turn on the whining machine" – as well as the crying machine and the over-the-shoulder smirk machine.
[La Paloma: "I already tried to slap her through the screen, but couldn't reach her smirking face." Ha!]
The chess player is "Pierre."
And unless my ears deceived me, Nancy deliciously told Uspín:
"Muchas cosas van a pasar en Mina Escondida porque el patrón Martín tiene fuego en la sangre."
Oh my.
So is V-2 like...TWELVE? My word is all we get is her whining, and not like a somewhat adult but like some tween, I'm going to have to mute her as I watch. I would actually enjoy her more is she acted conniving and "grown up". Maybe to come.
I still think Sergio will go dark--no other reason to bring him into this one. And we will all have to adjust our beanies because, Martin and the every lamppost will fall hook, line and sinker for all the lies they will be fed about V-1. But that's essentially the story, so bracing myself.
Have to say, the man candy in this one is a reason in itself to tune in. But when you do get a moment like Ivan seeing V-1 at the party...freexe frame for further enjoyment. Or rewind...and rewind...and rewind...

@Vivi - Re your "wish" that we'll have more of those moments BEFORE he realizes she's a possible target - judging from the "choking" preview Adriana mentioned, you may not get your wish when it comes to the timing. But I'm confident we'll get plenty of these "moments" between Vero and Martin regardless of his suspicions. I suspect Ivan's expressions of love will be as intense as his expressions of hatred, judging from both "the moment" and the "choking" preview.
If SS wasn't playing Emil, I could believe that Emil was just a really nice, friendly guy who made friends easily. But I keep seeing the signs of the BSC that I'm sure will fully come out. Would be nice though if SS played a somewhat good guy. But gosh, he looks mean in real life.
Vivi: ITA about Ricardo Franco. Lots of cold showers necessary with him around.
I can't help but wonder if Virginia was the one who wrote Demetrio the letter but as Vero. Definitely not beneath her to do.
I'm totally convinced the reason no men like Virginia is bec of her hairbands.
''Marsha, Marsha, Marsha''...Virg is just so jealous of Very...who is very good at EVERYTHING. Whereas Virg seems to think that picking out a pretty frock sand a headband is pretty much a day's work. Petulant prissy miss.
Linda
While i don't believe Emil would go completely Joker, the craziness is already lurking inside of him. I don't think SS is so mean, i believe he is nice in RL ( Note : I would also get mean if the parasitic papparazi would follow me all the time & write BS about me) but he gets his character's so well we almost believe it's real.
"takes a vengeful sip of coffee"
I just wonder how this will spin out "whenever Veronica sees that I like something, she gets in the way" Could she have had the hots for Demetrio and Veronica always around? We don't know if Demetrio's love was ever reciprocated, or perhaps Virginia's wasn't.
Wow, Martin was pretty brutal in how he suggested handling an almost workplace romance. He was just as much at fault yet she should leave her job.
I'm glad Veronica is a possible candidate but Martin sure doesn't sound like a guy focused on vengeance, wishing she not the V. What was he gonna do, be in love with Veronica as he courted Virginia to enact his revenge? Come on Martin don't go all mushy on me, stiff upper lip. Date both, make both fall for you and take them both down. If you can.
Ain't buying Veronica has no idea Emiliano smitten with her.
Gee, we're only 4 episodes in and poor Ginnie is already despised by many here. Could it be residual animosity for previous characters played by Grettell Valdéz? I know that I already have some preconceived notions about Martín because of the mad murderous musician, Hernán (LT), played by Iván Sánchez. (Although if he parallels Jerónimo in CME I'll probably never warm up to him.)
Was I hallucinating or, while she was in the kitchen, did Verónica pick up an hors d'oeuvre, take a bite out of it, and then place it back on the serving tray? Naaah.
Carlos
Grandfather and Manuel are going to be the death of me!
Can someone tell me- in the scene where Veronica and Virginia are in her room, when Vero tell Virginia to get a job Virginia replies with a very offensive "I'm not a lesbian and don't need to prove myself"-did Uni edit that for last nights show? I was horrified when I saw it on-line!
CountX-they could have used a nother word in that scene, that along with Granpa and Manuel tell me that I might have to have beer ready while watching/recapping!
Marimacha is 90% slang for tomboys mostly, its rarely reffers to lesbians themselves. Tomboyish girls love dressing as men or have man like features in their personalities for example being a Woman soldier, driving motorcycles etc . The correct term for lesbians is " Lesbiana"

The appreciation is great.
Ok, ok, shirtless men? fine, but as for me I'll just stay focused on V-1 and I will be focusing every night thank you.
In the opening, don't we see whinny Virginia wearing the V necklace?
Carlos---I did see Veronica take a bite and put it back on the tray and then right after that I said, no---that can't be.
the gringo
I am only now able to get back to my computer after a long day of work.
We've all seen SS play evil so many times, we're just waiting for him to snap and start some twisted plot. I do wish to see him play the good guy for once, though.
At this point I'm not sure who is worse: Abuelo or Manuel?
So, what do you guys think? Is Magdalena Vero's mom?
Kirby, I wouldn't take any of Virginia's words into consideration. She is just a bitter whiny person, too lazy to work (in the house or outside of it), with enough energy left to intrigue and sweet talk tia Salma.
That second meet was something, right? I know this story by heart, but a good galan will make me watch almost anything. So, yeah, I'm hooked. I wished I liked Ana Brenda more. I think she's very beautiful, but I don't click with her (sorry, Gringo).
I'm curious to see scenes with Virginia outside the house. She seems to be spending all her time with Salma, where would she find a guy who liked her?
The ratings of the show are pretty bad so far, especially for a prime time show, but that is no indication of quality. I hope Uni doesn't start cutting the story short of it doesn't go well in Mexico, this has happened with too many tns recently.
beautiful name.
Now like I said before, I'd think neither one of those Vs is the v on that pendant. I'd be surprised if it were one or the other. Poor marty, he don't know who to go after. One thing about this tn it keeps ya guessing. Martin need to devise a plan. He's so eaten up with anger, pain and hurt he can't see what might be right in front of him. And I have no idea what that is either, "LOL".
This week was full of guessing, trying to figure out who the heck is V. Hopefully we'll start to see the pieces fall into place, next week, maybe?
This week, you recapers were awesome. Thanks for bringing intrigue, romance, love, hate, funny stuff, you guys bring it all. thank you.
Nina
P.S. Everybody have happy safe Memorial day.
Martin's Operation Revenge still in effect!
This was such a good episode. Now Martin knows there are two V's - Virginia and Veronica (who he likes). I liked how he was hoping that Veronica wasn't the woman who he wants revenge on.
Was surprised to find out Magdalena has a daughter. It seems like she will be a more important character than I thought she would be.
I loved when Nanciyaga said that Martin had "Fuego En La Sangre".
