Caray, Caray!

From my limited, almost non-existent knowledge of Spanish, this is what i actually understood hoping i actually watched the right episode.
1. Mateo and Diego had a confrontation lead to a fight but someone eventually stopped them.
2. Mac and Abi also had their share of a fight, i mostly think everything she told to Abi was a false version if the truth.
3. Abi goes to see Renata to confirm/ ask for her side of the story, i don't think Abi completely believed her since she stormed out of the room, and there were lots of tears.
4. Mateo asks Diana for a divorce and she tore the papers, but the dude packed his bags and said, she couldn't be his wife only the mother of his child.
The episode ends with Renata and Abi having another discussion in the morning, and i think Abi believes Fausto is her father. I am sure how much i missed but this much i
remember. Patiently awaiting your recap Countx, probably going to be better than mine. Thank you

Things I am tiring of:

fake/incomplete confessions of the "truth" to Abi from various and sundry.

all the close calls of people almost telling her the real truth but getting interrupted.

Mat's new devotion to making Abi his amante.

Re that last one, interesting how the conscience works. What was once unacceptable has now become a mission statement, declared without hesitation. And a "until we can get married" disclaimer slapped on for justification.

No Lucio yesterday! I think that is the first episode without him, unless I missed him.

Mac ugly-cried, -talked. I don't like that gaping maw and googly eyes when she gets on a tirade.

I missed Monday night, and saw in the refrito last night that Benito was getting rejected by Mac again. And he can't get the love out of his heart. What on earth is sustaining that love? Totally unreasonable.

I'm hoping this is wrapping up soon. Per the avances, it looks like next loose thread to get addressed is Mateo's parentage.

I'm sorry but there will not be a recap today, i have a massive toothache so i cannot do much . Thank you for the mini points Anon. Basically the main plot of the episode is that Mat& Diego get into fights , threats for Abi while Mac is busy telliing Abi yet an another array of lies and she confirms that Fausto is Abi's supposed father. Ab's is obviously not pleased with Ren and Ren admits that she& Pablo were lovers. Ren blames everything on Mac but Ab's shouts back at Ren for not giving a fling about her fake missing baby. Later in the morning Ab's comforts Ren and she wants to find Ren's daughter but she say's the daughters location is already known to her

There's some Tony and Efgenia romance and he proffeses his love to her at last. Efgenia later encounters Julian with whom she shares a kiss.
Meanwhile poor Diego tries to tell Padre Tom the good news but Tom rejects the marriage with no explanations while Connie swears to herself that its time to tell Diego the truth of his heritage.
 

Oh yeah and Doormat& Diana get into a hot and flurrious fight , Mat even threatens to abandon the kids but later says he will still take care of them. He gave her the divorce papers but they were torn, Papers RIP.

Benito also got the bad end of a leash since Mac completely rejected him for reasons unknown ( I havent watched episode 66 yet so i wouldnt know) . Ben leaves frustrated saying he will love the energy sucking vampire till death!
 

Well Mac lies again and does a perfect job of it with all the tears, i don't think we saw Fausto in this episode,Efgenia kisses Tono and then Julian while she was trying to leave the house was quite unfortunate seeing as she was trying to escape. Good luck to Mateo trying to escape from Diana. Thanks for the bullet points, to everyone who did a short summary of the episode
 

TN4Ever yes I too hate all the half lies and truths , it grinds my teeth. I dont know whether to support his obnoxious tantrums of having Ab's as an amante or not but i felt ill when Mat expressed the desire to even leave his children.

Mac needs to go straight to hell , i cannot stand her and Benito needs to freaking learn already that love cannot be commanded upon as it can also bite you and no Benny there's no antidote for that junkhead!

Wondering where Satan went this episode, the hat eyed bastard is still most likely stuck in the office thinking of the prey he's about to lose .





 

I missed the last episode, and only saw a bit of this one. I saw Mac's torrent of lies to Abi, which I can't believe Abi falls for every time! And I saw the fight between Diego and Mat, broken up by Melesio. Then saw the argument between the two, up till when Mat told Diego to his face that even if Diego married Abi, he (Mat) would still make her his LOVER, come hell or high water. Que, que, what?!!! I thought galans were supposed to be gentlemen to the core. What the hell kind of galan vows to make someone their amante, even if they are both married to other people? I turned off the tv after that.
 

Count---I for one will miss your recap but a bad tooth is more important. A dentist perhaps?

Abi always ends up believing Macaria's lies because she BELIEVES Mac is her mother. When two people tell you opposing stories and one of them is your mother, you tend to believe your mother. Also, Macaria twists the truth just enough so that when Abi asks questions (they are never the right questions, of course) other people will confirm her story - there is just enough truth in them for that. Thus, it is true and can be confirmed that Renata was involved with Pablo, that her father made her marry Fausto, that Macaria has always loved Fausto, that Renata was forced to give up her daughter and that Pablo was killed because of his involvement with Renata. The questions Abi should have asked Renata is, "Is Fausto my father?" "What was your daughter's name?" etc. It's time she learns the truth, dammit!

Poor Abi, still buying Mac's lies. Anno 2:53 is right. She believes Mac is her mother and therefore has no reason not to believe her. The lies and double lies make me sick. What is Max's problem? His mom and adopted dad, were they that bad? I can understand the need for closeness to his natural dad, but a windbag like that should be an eye opener. I am conflicted about both Mat and Diego. They are both whimps. Your girl tells you she almost slept with your rival and you cry. Really! Mat, has nothing to offer Abi but a night of lust. Really! His lovemaking hasn't prevented Diana from ...ing every jerk in town. Not much of an offer.

Not shocked that Mateo & Diego got into a confrontation: they're fighting like Abigail like she's a piece of meat!


 

Is there a sort of law in Novella land that states Abi must end up with Mateo, maybe she just needs to move away from Diego and Mateo, so a new galan appears, but that's probably not going to happen. Hope she gets the whole truth soon before more misunderstandings occur
 

It's true, i am so not rooting for Mat. For me Diego deserves her more since he atleast raised a child to the cutie he is now today by Himself meanwhile Mat just cannot wait till the babies croak just to be with Abi as her amante ugh. Why must the protangoist always stay with the filthy stupid is beyond me. Talk about the stress!
