Okay, now I'm getting mad at Nina. She has absolutely broken Jorgitos heart and I loooooove hiiiiim. I think Mam Lucinda is hiding so much... I just can't work out what her game plan is.
I literally laughed out loud last night when Muricy' s boyfriend threw the steak tartare away. That was unexpected and hilarious to me.
Did anyone else notice that when the Tifon household was all worried and wringing hands about Jorgito going missing, Max (presumably his biological dad) was taking a peaceful nap on the couch!

Tierra de Reyes 5/25
Part1

We will stand firm and serenade our ladies love even if they riddle us with bullets
Sophia thanks Art and the other girls and boys eye each other appreciatively
Cayetana eyes them all with significantly less appreciation, and the baby cries. Either he doesn’t like the music or Jean is right and he hates that hat
When the boys are gone Caye lets her daughters know that she may be putting up w/Art marrying Sophia, but his bros are still not welcome on her ranch and Irina still must divorce Flavio and that’s final.
Sam sends Andrea red roses and an unsigned card.

Pati has gone to the hospital. She doesn’t want Matamoros to die but she still wants a divorce (and here’s why) When she goes in his room to visit him, he plays on her sympathy to draw her close enough to choke her. Luckily a nurse comes in to check on him and Pati is saved. (Does anybody care enough about Pati & Matamoros to want to know the particulars of their arguments? I could make more of an effort, but if nobody cares I’m just going to say ) They argue and Pati leaves in a huff

Nestor wakes Matamoros to ask him what happened, apparently the security cameras didn’t catch the attack so its his word against the other guys. Matamoros says ask those guys who hired them to beat him up.

We know Valverde didn’t order the attack because he is surprised and upset when he finds out about it.
Isadora tells him she wants to start therapy again, coincidentally at the very facility where her mom is being held. Valverde tells her anywhere but there and then has to leave and make some calls to make sure she can’t get a consultation there.

(I like Flavio so much right now, I almost forgive him for being a total cavernicula.) Flavio brings up w/his bros that now that Vero knows she’s adopted they should tell her she’s their sister, and she walks in holding hands w/Sole as they are discussing “telling her the truth” and asks ‘what truth do you have to tell me guys? (I have to admit she does look a little fragile right now, maybe they should have her sit down before they tell her.)
They wimp out and tell her they want to give her a car, which she doesn’t want to accept.

5/25 part 2

Sophia wants to leave little Artie Iggy w/Art while she buys a wedding dress. Caye doesn’t want to give him over, and btw she’s still refusing to call him by his 1st name which should be a big clue to Sophia that her hate has not abated, but Sophia just chides her about it and Andrea coaxes her to give over the baby and takes him over to Rancho Alcazar & bonus smoochies w/Sam, but they get caught by Art and Sole. They aren’t mad about the secret, but the kid really doesn’t like the hat (Jean is totally right) they have to turn him away so he can’t see it before he’ll stop crying.
Andrea and Sam’s love is strong, and pure and true, but don’t tell mom cause she’ll have kittens. Andrea can’t handle the consequences yet. Art and Sole warn them about the road ahead but sound basically supportive.
Later Andrea and Sam talk alone and Andrea says she realizes it will be quite a blow to her mom to learn she loves Sam since she’s her favorite daughter. Sam mentions her mom’s craziness and she makes excuses for her – she’s always wanted what’s best for her daughters, she has a very “special” way of loving, ect. Sam, the muy optimist, says they’ll just have to teach her a better way to love.

DF tells his daughter he always thought she was a smart woman, but her recent behavior has him doubting, she bristles- she’s right and the rest of the world is wrong – but before they can really get into it Isadora arrives with a swish on her broomstick. DF asks why she is there – he didn’t know she and Caye were friends- and Nieves tells them about the almost kidnapping. Caye is quite disturbed and takes Isadora to the office to talk about “buying horses” They discuss their plans and failure of the same, and when Isadora finds out the wedding is in a week says she’ll do something. Caye begs her not to do anything permanent to Sophia and to her credit even Art. Isadora says I promise Sophia will be ok but Art not so much

Valverde is chewing out his henchies for letting Isadora head out for parts unknown unaccompanied when Nestor arrives to question him about Sr Gallardo. Valverde rolls his eyes and sends the henchies away. Nestor starts slow asking if Valverde knows the mysteriously killed Sr Gallardo was the father of the guys he knows and the owner of the ranch he just bought, all the while eying the letter opener. Valverde denies ever knowing Sr Gallardo, and Nestor pounces asking him about the letter opener and says its one of a kind . Valverde makes excuses and Nestor retreats saying every day he gets closer to the truth.


Caye realizes too late she has make an error teaming up w/Isadora, and tells Leo she’s worried about what Isadora might do, especially to Sophia and the baby. Leo tries to look like he cares even though he hates Sophia now and probably hopes she dies.

5/25 part 3

Vero explains to Irina why she moved in w/los Gallardos, and Irina is actually supportive and nice about it, tells her if there is anything you need ect.
Vero is trying to convince Irina to take Flavio back and Irina is all not in a million years, when speak of the caveman, Flavio walks in and they start to do their song and dance. Vero is all ‘hey, I’m out of here you guys this stuff gets old fast’ and leaves and they keep going. (I checked out when Vero did)

Irina goes to her commercial shoot but Flavio has been plotting something nasty w/the director - impending doom—

Pati tells Cande she isn’t only divorcing Matamoros for Sam she’s doing for herself because Matamoros is scary. Cande tells her ‘once you get divorced you ‘ll still have to be on the run to stay away from him’
And from the way he’s talking w/his 2nd in the hospital Cande is totally right and Pati should run for her life.

ok so this week is going to be really busy for me and I don't know if I'll be able to recap the rest of the week, but I wanted to get this one up, since its the first time I've seen a Monday ep for weeks


this show is crazy but fun and the characters are likeable (except the ones I hate)
I'm having a lot of fun watching and love the comments from ya'll

hello all I am the one who usually did these reviews, am for all who read tjemam sorry I had to stop, but I had finals and really needed to study, anyway here is a quick recap

after the dead of his wife vic jr goes into a depression sells the cattle and joins his uncle in the business, with the money from the cattle aurelio is able to buy coke from the head of the michoacan cartel, he brings this drug to chicago as ordered by tim. aurelio and vic spend time in chicago filling the city with drugs, vic gets an operation that lets him walk again, when they are done tim has aurelio give up all the drug lords of chicago, they are send to do the same in la.

ruti
her and monica begin their operation with meth. el chema the sociopathic that he is cause jealousy when he finds out ruti visited ernie in.jail, so he kidnaps the baby and holds it over ruti. ernie for his part is working with leo to bring down andrews, when chema finds out about this he pays ex general garnicas to kill him (make it look like accident) garnicas is later freed by marcado and he joins with their group called the Ms leo for her part becomes involved with monicas cousin but they break it off because of his cheating this cause her to have a breakdown and takes some time off to relax in a ranch in michoacan.

tijeras is living like a king, he controls all the drug trade in colombia, even super javi works for him, he falls in love with a really young girls who he literally buys off her dad for 35,000 dolares

I totally agree about the kidnapping, it would of been interesting if something actually happened this time around. Sam took them out like nothing. Why didn't he do that the first time. I love Andrea and Sam but i need conflict with a novela to make things interesting. I also tune out on Flavio and Irina, their loves makes me want to hurl especially Flavio's behavior. That shooting at the gallardo ranch was pure BS. I thought someone would get shot but again like the kidnapping, nothing happened. Sometimes Arturo is very unlikable with with facial expressions and accent and especially that hat. Also looks like the baby got the rare blondish traits of the grandmother and the aunt.looks nothing like the supposed parents. I still watch it everynight but i will eventually tune into something else if things get a little boring.
 

And have none of the characters noticed that one of the thugs was shot in the hand during the first kidnapping attempt? I saw no evidence of the injury in his subsequent actions. And you would think that Capitán Fernández would have spotted it. Nice that Rocío seems to be getting another love interest. Maybe she'll dump Pablo.

tim is ready to capture victor jr however rivera does not want to have an operation in rutis house tim is like its cool bro we dont have to go get him in your gf house we can get him some other time

meanwhile aurelio casillas goes to see moncia, monica is at first angry at him telling him that i will rip out your eyes, aurelio tells her am stubborn n i will not leave until i talk to you. aurelio does his charm thing and starts to win moncia over. he confesses to her that it was he who killed irma and it was him who set up the military attack that lead to the death of victorjr's wife. surprisingly monica forgives him and they have sex in a hot tub.

victor jr for his part is visiting his family in df. christina walks in and victor decides to talk to him. they end up hooking up.

chema for his part is planing to meet up with garncia. it has been promised to chema that this deal will lead to him getting a new cocaine supplier, chema does not know that this is a trap that us set up by los Ms

chema talks to garnica they go back an forth when chema leaves marcado's men follow him. ruti is also in the house that is about to be attacked, also in the house is marcado's borther and sister in law who chema has kidnapped.

tijeras finally is.having some problems chema has had his nephew kidnapped and demanded two tons of coke to free him tijeras reluctantly pays it, to relax tijeras has sex with hus 18 year old girlfriend

back in chema house los Ms begin their attack chema is caused completely off guard and flees, ruti is left behind and sgebis caught
 

Tierra. Guau! May I say guau! It's getting very exciting. I hope the group of Gallardos and del Juncos looking for Arturo have brought along some vaqueros armed with rifles to take care of the matones, as I'm sure Veronica's dream was right on. I'm not even going to object to the psychic link between Veronica and the late Alma; it gives a kind of realismo magico feel to the episode. If and when Veronica and Pablo get married, I wonder if the soul of Alma will enter into Veronica's body, like a scene in an old silent movie.

I'm still hanging on to this show, especially now, but had a hard time keeping up the last couple weeks. I got the time jump, but not really sure what Leo is doing on that ranch. Is this like a retreat for her?

interesting how Cayetana is getting isolated from her family and getting more and more in the camp of the bad guys, is there anyone from either side that even listens to her anymore?

say, wasn't Ulises in jail for killing someone, (I forget who), does he even have a guard at the hospital, (as the who's who of Houston bad guys come to see him), I'm waiting for him to get dressed , call a cab, and head back to the Palenco.

Patti should have Roger shining her boots pretty soon, the harder he tries to kill her the more she confuses him with that strange logic of hers.

Is Cande playing hard to get with Leo, and how soon before we hear him say something that is not a menacing whisper, this guy would even be scary ordering a BigMac at McDonalds.

I've been a little disillusioned since kidnap number #43 when Adrea did such a good job taking control and Sam didn't pull the mask of the bad russian guy #1 and, went so far as to put a hood on bad guy #2 before he could see, (I guess he just doesn't want to know), and what did the bad guys say about the new kidnapping cabana, how many of these places are there?

and Leo had a gps tracker in their car or something?

 

Tierra. Yes, he did. You would think that someone would put a gps tracker in Isadora's car. Of course then the telenovela would end a few months sooner.
