Caray, Caray!

Alternative Title: Luciana Goes Through the Worst Day of Her life while Viewerville Revels in her setbacks.

Great episode so lets jump right in!
Luciana is somewhat impressed that Lichita figured out her fabulous tastes so quickly. Well Lichita is just soooo grateful towards Luciana for getting her job back. Honestly, she just hopes that sooner rather than later they could become friends. Luciana appears to think very hard but then rejects Lichita flat out. Luciana could never become friends with someone so low on the totem pole Puh-leeze! Luciana wants Lichita to work on gathering all there is to know about the Shoe Campaign (Grimwali??). Lichita sarcastically also offers to freely give her ideas and phrases in this report to which the ever confident Luciana rejects. Puh-leeze! What does someone like Lichita know about an elegant, sophisticated, shoe company like Grimwali(??).

Turns out Ximena's so called friends are trying to apologize. Ximena rightfully tells them friends do not act the way they did. They complain that there were just tired of her talking of her Tia all the time. Ximena eventually forgives them and they run off to play (If only adult problems could be solved this easily).

Meanwhile Roberto is facing scrutiny in Augusto's office. Don Augusto wants to know why he has not read anything about the Iconika Anniversary Party. Well you see…what happened was…principles! Roberto does what he does best and spouts a whole lot words without really saying anything at all. Since he now works at Iconika, Roberto didn’t feel it was right to also write about it as well…you know it wouldn’t be ethical and he is ALL about morals and virtues.

Roberto gives Gummaro the 411 as they get food at some street cart (food looks good and I blame this scene for making me put fries in the oven this late at night). They end up talking about what they always talk about…Roberto striving to being the best fake publicist out there and now that he is forced to not rely on Lichita he has some learning to do!

At some dark, swanky club the frenemies Luciana and Chuchette are getting drinks. Luciana has not had a good night out in a while and she misses her fun night activities in Buenos Aires. Chuchette wants to take it easy with the partying as they have a meeting with Sandra (Godzilla) tomorrow. Luciana is not worried, she already has this account in the bag. Who else could no more about this company than her? She leans towards Chuchette and loudly whispers something that she probably is not supposed to say (I couldn’t quite catch the full conversation so please fill in…Luciana was mentioning about robbing something?). While Luciana is ordering shots of alcohol, Chuchette barely touches her own clearly enjoying Luciana’s candor.

Next morning, Lichita has a book of IDEAS which she is trying to place perfectly…perhaps for someone to steal. Luciana walks in and demands something for her hangover (cruda). Roberto surprisingly arrived early to work on presentation for today's meeting. Lichita doesn’t think it matters who “wins” because the credit always goes to the creative director which Luciana disputes. Even if the credit goes to Iconika, the ones that come out looking like stars of the company are the creative directors. Lichita knows this after spending several years here, so she knows how things work (Girl then use that to get yourself your dream position and stop letting people walk over you in the meantime!). Luciana cannot contain her klepto ways and goes through Lichita's book of ideas.

Roberto is willingly going over his ideas with Luciana (Please tell me he has some sense and is withholding his trump card). She thinks it not that bad but hers is just better. Lichita interrupts at this moment, which Luciana blames her for breaking their moment of creativity. After Roberto walks out, leaving everything at the table, openly...for people to steal. Luciana winks at Lichita for her to help her on a special project. Lichita jumps at this thinking she needs help with ideas for like to 10th time today, but no-no. She wants Lichita to show her loyalty and detain Roberto (from the meeting I''m guessing).

Lichita runs into Roberto in the hallway and he wants to talk to her before the meeting. In the elevator, he states that it must not be easy working for Lichita (thanks for stating the obvious buddy). Lichita fires back with a "well what do you expect from a girl who crashed into my father’s taxi and left the scene". Roberto admits to her he has been indeed acting weird. Lichita takes this time to stop the elevator and calls him out on being all cuddly with Luciana after she told him of Luciana’s deceitful acts. He really cannot even explain that away.

Don Augusto and Sandra are at each other again…at work. During their tryst, she gets mad when he pokes at her for not being on her game with Oki Oki. She feigns family issues as her reasons. Augusto wonders if it is her Ex Elias who went crazy that she loudly denies. Just as she is about to walk off, Augusto calls her “Godzilla”. Clearly they are aware of Sandra's “nickname” from her dear colleagues. Not bothered with the name-calling, this gets them turned on again.

It seems like either the elevator coincidently stops working or Lichita is being a little devious and preventing Roberto from attending his important meeting. She no longer entertains Roberto’s round about explanations if there is even one hidden in there. She thanks him for teaching her to look out for herself.

At the meeting Luciana takes advantage of Roberto's absence. She proceeds to go on with her brilliant idea as she struts on top of the meeting table (umm nope not at all appropriate). Then the best thing ever happens….her heel comes loose and she falls ungraciously onto the table. Everyone laughs mortifying Luciana even more.

Augusto is not so happy with Luciana’s foolish presentation. Sandra chides her for not reading the report on the owner of the company who is a feminist; she fought for the rights of women. Luciana smally states that she only bought the shoes and used them...nothing else. Don Augusto has no problem berating her in front of others, calling her a shame and that she clearly is up to his level of intelligence. Every single time he rants she gets sinks lower and lower into her chair.

At the orphanage, the young couple that is infatuated with Mateo, of course wants to adopt only him. They are very enthusiastic and are willing to take the legal means necessary. The director looks slightly concerned knowing that this story may not end well. The couple leaves with the wife slightly hysterical. She really wants to adopt Mateo and does not understand the situation with the father. She wants to make sure that he is not a bad person or endangering Mateo in anyway. The hubby promises to look into the situation.

Roberto finally makes it to the meeting explaining he was stuck on the elevator. Augusto doesn’t want to hear excuses and reports that Luciana and his career are hanging on a thin line. Augusto blames Luciana horrible idea on him…Roberto needs to learn how to control his team. Out of nowhere he questions whether he has a relationship with Luciana...because well we know how Luciana is. Augusto advises him against this.

The kids at the orphanage talk about getting adopted. Mateo is going to wait for his dad even if a family wants to adopt him he will decline. The other kids try and deter him from this thinking; they say his father has said that mantra for a while now. Mateo is loyal to his dad and prefers to live with him than anyone else.

Chuchette accompanies Luciana back to her office as she complains of her embarrassment. Chuchette questions whether the shoes she bought are a knockoff. Of course, Chuchette would never spread rumors of her shoe incident or that her uncle chewed her out in front of everyone. You better not Luciana confirms, and if anyone is dares to do so they will be dealt with. Luciana slips on a new pair of shoes, which also comes apart and causes both of them to fall.

The last few minutes of the show dealt with Daphne further investigating Luciana’s old life. Her mom wants to know what prep school she decided to attend. Beatriz was not to happy to hear that Daphne wants to remain in Mexico for home schooling. She taunts that this will of course solve her parent’s problems of being embarrassed of her and she will not have to deal with the bullying at school…win win for both!

And last scene…the secretaries and co. are gossiping about the latest happenings in Iconika. The stories turn to Lichita and how she was on her knees begging for forgiveness. This is so Lichita! Unfortunately, Lichita overhears this and actually lets a single tear slip. As we predicted she is fed up with her work conditions. Everything was planned from the beginning. Lichita purposefully left the book for Luciana to steal. She also was the culprit with Luciana's shoe fiasco. Lichita admits she still has much to learn but the first step has been taken. She is now willing to play the game…. ready to become another person. Antes muerte que Lichita…. welcome Alicia!

Finally! Lichita is fed up and I am there with her…. but like 10 episodes ago.
